Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, let's jump over to the Legacy Retirement Group
(00:01):
dot com phone line checking with Fox News Ryan Smells
the latest on what mainstream media calls a Maryland man.
Speaker 2 (00:09):
That's the Kilmar Abrego Garcia story.
Speaker 1 (00:12):
And he has been deported because he was here illegally
to El Salvador. And Senator Chris van Holland from Maryland
has returned from his trip only to have the news
that another woman has been killed by an illegal immigrant
in the state of Maryland.
Speaker 2 (00:26):
With the latest, Ryan, what's the story?
Speaker 3 (00:28):
Hey, good morning. Well, you have a statement from Senator
Van Holland where he said that, you know, in that
same statement, he made references to the woman who was
just killed in Maryland, saying that his heart breaks for
a family and he offered his sympathies. But then he
also in that same sent you know, a statement goes
on about the court system and how her alleged killer
(00:49):
will face justice in the court of law, and that
the court of law decisions must be respected and due
process must be respected. And you know, I think some
might say that that's a tie to the ongoing situation
with Kilmar Abrego Garcia, where Van Holland has made the
allegation that he was deported without due process.
Speaker 1 (01:08):
Well, it's interesting if you're here illegally, I think, I mean,
I don't know immigration laws, Ryan, But if you're here illegally,
you're breaking the law.
Speaker 2 (01:17):
How much do process do you need? It's like it's
time for you to go home now.
Speaker 3 (01:21):
Well, the argument is that number one, number on the
administration has admitted that this was an administrative era as
to why he was deported at El Salvador. Number two,
the Supreme Court ruled nine nothing that the US should
facilitate his return to the United States. Now, the word
facilitators become one of the most debated legal terms in
the country because, you know, Republicans believe that just means, oh,
(01:43):
we have to make it easy for him to come back,
and they've even offered a plane. But at the same time,
else they're putting the decision in El Salvador's hands as
to whether or he comes back to the United States.
And Democrats believe that because the Supreme Court ruled nine nothing,
that the Trump administration should facilitators return, therefore, the Trump
administration should actually try to get him back to the
(02:03):
United States.
Speaker 1 (02:05):
I just what I can't square Ryan Schmells Fox News
is pretty much every law enforcement agency from the local Maryland.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
Level to the FEDS.
Speaker 1 (02:14):
I'll say, this is a bad guy that he's got
MS thirteen ties, he's now been connected to a confessed
human smuggler.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
I mean, he's got like the writing is on the wall.
Speaker 1 (02:22):
I mean, if the only crime that he's really on
the hook for is being here illegally, he doesn't have
a long rap sheet. And that's what Democrats like to
point to is, well, he's not done anything wrong.
Speaker 3 (02:32):
Well, I think he's convicted of anything.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
Yeah, not convicted of anything. But everybody else says, even
the president of.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
El Salvador is like, yeah, this is a bad dude,
you know, like, okay, so why do we want him
back here? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (02:45):
Well, I mean here's the reality too, is that they
could bring him back here, have him stayed trial, then
just send him right back to uh the support him again.
And I think I think and honestly, I mean, if
they did that, I mean it's that then then do
processes followed and there's really no getting him back at
that point. But I mean that might satisfy the Democrats
that they do that, or at least some of the
Democrats were making this a big deal. Now here's one
(03:07):
more thing too, is that there was four Democrats who
went to El Salvador recently and they were also trying
to bring attention to another person. And this was a
nineteen year old hairdresser who had a pending asylum case
that he was supposed to be, you know, going to
for a hearing and he was deported. And Democrats are
(03:27):
arguing this person had no tie SAMAS thirteen whatsoever. And
that's a big concern. So, you know, I think you
might see I think there's maybe a precedent concern that
Democrats are bringing up where you know, yes, kill mar
Bery Garcia might have a pretty extensive rack sheet and
allegations against him, but that might not be the case
with everyone getting deported.
