that's just west of three fifteen. If you have never
been here, I'm your host, Eric. In the holiday season,

look a lot like Christmas.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
Well, you know, I have to come out of retirement,
you know. Well people what I need.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
We're gonna We're gonna get to my pet pee right
off the bat with you on this, and I hate
to air our family, you know, pet peas right up front.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
I thought we were getting along pretty good.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
We were, and of course I got my good friend
JC sitting here too. Guys, let's get to it. We
have a lot to go over today. But we are
the owners of LUPD Firearms Arrange and are active in
law enforcement. But for when hour're on Saturdays, we put
together a group of firearms experts to discuss new products
in the market, training tips, and oftentimes political topics surrounding

(01:17):
this second Amendment. Our commitment that has always been to
bring you facts about our industry and help listeners and
customers with safe, responsible ownership of firearms. To my right, JC,
how was your Thanksgiving?

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Oh? It was stuffed. I am still stuffed from that.
It was wonderful. We just the best food. It's one
of those you have twenty five different things that to
eat and then you take a little bit of everything
your plate. Still, you know, Yeah, it was great.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
And then the voice you heard at the top, and
you know, I got mixed emotions here because I love
when you're on here, but you only it's it's like
self serving. You come when you when it when it
benefits you. Yeah, let me remind listeners. I think I
don't know one of the last times you're here was
Christmas where you spew your Christmas list, and of everyone
sitting here, I don't know whether they feel sorry for you,

(02:07):
but I think it was last year, maybe the year
before you said I would like a mark to little
twenty two and someone.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Call it was a Christmas miracle.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
I mean it was beautiful too, case color.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
I love that.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
Yeah, it's incredible.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
Actually I think Luke shot it the other day.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Really really Yeah, don't shoot my gun.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
But I tell you so. I guess I'm welcoming you back.
I know it's self serving a little bit because it
is that time of year again when we go around
the table a little bit talk about what we want
for Christmas, just in case anyone cares.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Well, you know, this is important to me because I'm
missing my nap in order to be here.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
That is true. Yeah, damn, that's true. That is true though.
So we're gonna get up to that here shortly though
the second half of the show though, Guys, they are
going to tell you up front, we're gonna replay what
we did last week. Because last week we went over
in depth the specials here at the store. There's still
a lot going on. We're gonna talk about what's leftover
from Black Black Friday and so much more.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
What else.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
We got to thank our sponsors because they make this
happen each week. US Laws Shield have been a great
partner of ours for a long time now. That would
be a great gift to give someone is that would
be a US Laws shield.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
That is a gift of protection just in case you needed.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
And you know what, jac if you sign up for them,
you get twenty dollars to spend here at LAPD just
for signing up. So that's always a good thing. Jackson
Egress Windows a great partner of ours. They between the
window side of things and doing snow removal here and
they have a whole Jackson helped me out up on
their other side that does the snow removal and the

(03:39):
cutting grass. Yeah, that's what I was trying to think. Yes,
Black Wing Shooting Centers always good friends up there. We
talked to Joe a couple of weeks ago, and I
know them. River's Edge, KYLERD another good friend of ours.
All having specials this weekend. You got to go check
them out. And what else you miss the show, you
can always catch the podcast. Always good to go out there.

(04:01):
Mom missed a show last week, so I was a
little disappointed to hear that. Really, Yeah, I had to
show her what the podcast was, you know, I mean
it cut our listenership in half. I don't know what
she was doing. I don't either. I mean to miss
the show, but you know.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
Christmas pressent.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
That's what I'm thinking for.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
And she missed me on Blazer this week.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
I was on Blazer and now I told her about that.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
Yeah, yeah, nothing, nothing, Well, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
It's it's so frequent anymore. It's like, yeah, it's Eric again.
You know, either's on television or he's on the radio,
you know again.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
So I still get the text from mom, it's you.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
That my wife misses. She goes when is Phil coming back?
She just absolutely loves you on the radio.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
So if I if I thought people were sincere, if
I thought people.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
Were would it take would it take gifts? I mean,
do you gifts?

Speaker 3 (04:52):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (04:55):
Bingo, okay, okay. So last we talked about some of
the sales here the store. But now and we really
we have fun with this. Every year. We've been doing this,
I think since the beginning of the show, right about
this time. Every year, we go round the table and
talk about things that are on our Christmas list from
specifically around the store. And it's really as much as

(05:16):
I am here every day, I still walk around I think, wow,
I like that, or you know, I you know that's
something I need, or I look under my desk on
something I stashed a while ago, and like, I need
to go buy that or put it out there for
my Christmas list. But you know, Pop Paul, I think
I think you've done the same.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
Well yeah, sort of.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
So just briefly, some of the Black Friday sales still
going on. We still I don't know how jac, we
still have some free guns.

Speaker 3 (05:46):
That's that's it's amazing. But you just get a standard
membership that we have for the for the full service,
full level membership for three hundred fifty bucks and we
actually have free guns still. It's passed the paperwork, of course,
but absolutely free and it's wonderful give it away free guns.
It is with the membership.

Speaker 1 (06:06):
And what I was surprised at is specifically yesterday on
Black Friday, we had a lot of people. So you
could choose to get a free gun, or you could
spend a little bit more and get some of the
ones on sale. And we're not talking things that you
would look at and think why would I want that.
We're talking to all the glocks in the case have
this ability if you get the membership to spend a
couple hundred dollars more and get some of the mos

(06:28):
ones or there's one that I looked at yesterday. I'm like, wow,
that is a deal. I think it was a block
forty five with an eotech already on it. You know,
so all kinds of deals we had still so stop
by the ten percent off used guns runs through the
weekend here, so that's another. I mean, a couple guys
came in, they were at the door, Papa was hanging
out numbers yesterday, and they ran right over to shoes

(06:50):
guns that they were looking at.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
Well, they ran right over me. I'm standing up there.
I couldn't even get a cup of coffee. Everybody else
had the opportunity to maybe sneak getting a little sip
of coffee.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
Not me.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
And again, I hate to air these things out in public,
but next year, if you're gonna start the numbers that
you're handing out at ten, that'd be good to let
me know. I'm sitting here, I'm looking for one. I
go to the one, there's no one. Jac I go
to two and three, there's no people. I'm like, where
are these people going? I get up to seven and eight,
no one. I'm like, what did I miss him? And

(07:24):
then I find out he didn't start handing out till
number ten.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
Oh oh, you know.

Speaker 2 (07:29):
Well, and the thing is too What is kind of
problematic is that people sometimes will leave with the numbers
and they never return with them, and so now we're
missing numbers out of our sequence.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
Probably spring for a new set of numbers.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
You know, we just got a new set really cardboard.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
There he goes, guys, let's get into the Christmas list.
I'm gonna start it out. I figure and John, I'm
gonna you have to give the abbreviator version. But one
of my favorite things, and I have a bunch, but
I don't have enough. Are the the next belts here, Papaul,
I don't know if you've warriors yet. You need to.
These are the belts, guys that you cut the size
so it's one size fits all off the shelf. You

(08:10):
can you don't have to worry about worrying about someone's size.
And they're ratcheting. And now they have come out with
so many different ones that are fashionable. I haven't for
all my my jeans, my you know, dressed.

Speaker 3 (08:22):
Stuff, church clothes or the regular good standard yep, just
a standard.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Now it's important. I mean, next belt is one of
the the the founders of this. It's important to get
one from someone that's good because you could have a
situation where this belt could lock up on you and
then you have to cut it. John, John, have you
heard of that happening?

Speaker 3 (08:46):
No way a minute.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
If it did happen, it probably only happened to a
person that we know now.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
At six o'clock in the morning, I was up doing
through turkeys, cooking all night and and yeah, always have
it up. But this was some gave me. And it
was not It wasn't one of our good belts here.
I mean they gave it to me so but it worked.
It was ratcheting. And if I said it's time to
go to bed, you know, and I'm just tired, I said,
want to tick off my pists, get in a bed.

(09:12):
The belt would not release, and I went, what wait
a minute. I spent almost like half an hour with
screwdriver hand. We're trying to pry everything apart. The buckle
held up. But what happened was the little ratcheting part,
which was made of plastic, broke and it balled up
and there was no way to slide the belt.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
He had to cut the belt.

Speaker 3 (09:32):
I had to cut the belt off, which was I
mean so that I took it out in the garbage
this morning. What's that? That's the belt I cut off
at six o'clock in the morning.

Speaker 1 (09:42):
Deb If you're listening, a next belt right here at
LPD would be a great stocking stuff.

Speaker 3 (09:47):
So we have our Yes, these are decent. I mean
you could tell Papa.

Speaker 1 (09:50):
What you have on your list.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
Well, this is very basic, but I would like to
get a bad guy repellent.

Speaker 1 (09:58):
Oh yeah, yeah, I like.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
Well, you know the thing is that has when you
get to be my age, you don't want to be
close to somebody, yes, because then you know they'll get
to jump on me. But you know this is effective
eight to ten feet. It's military strength, yep. Now the
one I'm looking at this this is a two pack yep.
And and it's got to die in this or that

(10:20):
when they do attack and you spray them and they
run away. Guess what your marked?

Speaker 3 (10:25):
Yeah, Mark?

Speaker 1 (10:25):
Now the one good thing about these, Papa, I'm not
a big fan of it. It looks a little gimmicky
to me with the name bad guy repellent. But this
is made guess what a JC. It is made by
the burn up people really who own Fox Labs. This
is the same formula that the law enforcement carries. It's

(10:46):
in a little bit of a marketing package, but it is.
It is good stuff that we're not talking about. Stuff
that is that's not going to work.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
Is a bad guy that's carrying this?

Speaker 1 (10:58):
Oh yeah, I'm bad that what you think You think
the bat guys are buying this?

Speaker 3 (11:03):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (11:03):
You don't want to mess with me, Me and my
pepper spray?

Speaker 1 (11:06):
All right, JC, What you got?

Speaker 3 (11:08):
Oh? Four things that we are looking for. This is
one that I think is the last one that we have.
This sale is so great on this. This is a
new gun, but it has been been tested. It's owned
by veterans out of Dallas, Texas, and it's a female
owned company. And these bad girls came up with this

(11:31):
and it's a Ross Martin and so the r M
it's the r MC one, which is the Ross Martin
Compact one. Now get this, I mean this if you can.
The gun very familiar looking, glock like but with some
great improvements. The trigger is really incredible and it's one
of the shortest resets that I have seen. Uh it's
it's a little take up, but boy, when it breaks,

(11:53):
it breaks, I'm going to check out my on my
loaded chamber indicator. Here. Uh, this gun comes with this package.
It has five seventeen round magazines, five seventeen round magazines.
It's got the Palmer easy put, it's got expanded well,

(12:13):
it comes with an optic and it's it co witnesses.
So when you're looking down that side, big white red
white site and the red dot and it's right on.
It's a really infidextrous like all the time, not like
hey it can be well if you take this part out, No,
it's it's I can you can take it out left handed,
right handed and drops that magazine. It looks like it's

(12:33):
a nine. That's a nine. It's a nine millimeter and
it is. And I've get here's the price, four hundred
and eighty nine and ninety nine, so for yep, like
for four ninety it's a brand new and it has
got everything. It's even with it's got the full dust
cover so you can mount some optics. Some only had

(12:53):
like lock on has like one rail or two, but
this has got this has got three to lock on
or two to lock on. Part of me and but
it's it feels right. So it's one of the and
the package you get, I don't think when you see it,
it is a very thick, heavy package. It's it comes
with all sorts of little extras in there.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
But and jac I think it's made on if I
remember maybe a glock gin three. So it has interchangeable
parts with some of the glocked in threes and stuff.
So great, a lot of gun for the price.

Speaker 3 (13:24):
Yeah. One of our one of our salespeople down there
just went down to arrange and one of his friends
had one and he got to shoot it. He said,
he said, this is probably the best buy in a
in a firearm. And so someone came in and never
owned a gun today after seeing it doing it, he
walked out with wow.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
Let me suggest you know what you do when you
want something for Christmas and your wife is bugging you,
you know.

Speaker 1 (13:45):
Give me a list, give me a list.

Speaker 3 (13:47):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (13:47):
Well, what I do is I do the research. I
give a list. I even do a picture. Yes, And
then I say where you can get it, yes, and
how much it costs old?

Speaker 1 (13:56):
I mean how easy you could come here? Put it
on hold?

Speaker 3 (14:00):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (14:00):
Left for that, you know, and see that if Santa comes.

Speaker 3 (14:02):
By, that's in a deep bevel on that. I was
very impressed. Yeah, that's kind of very impressed.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
All right, I'm gonna go here quickly, guys. This is
this is a must. Suppressors are enormously popular, only going
to get more popular come January first, when there is
no two hundred dollars tax stand for it. You got
to get the suppressor the cleaning kits, and they are
from Hopsworth, one of the manufacturers. They're a must for
if you're owning a suppressor.

Speaker 2 (14:28):
Popov yep I gave when we opened our store. I
gave all my gun clean ass equipment to the store.
I have nothing zero at home. And and uh and
I catch hell for using w D forty on everything
I do. And uh so I think I just won
a big size Hoppies number nine, number nine board cleaner.

Speaker 1 (14:50):
Now do you still wear that on your wrist a
little bit? I mean I like going out with the
little number nine.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
Well behind the ear.

Speaker 3 (14:56):
Yes, So you gave up Buffalo tracer now you're now
you're sticking with a quart of Hopies.

Speaker 1 (15:00):
Okay, what you got?

Speaker 3 (15:02):
I'm Secular Suppressors. Jake who works here is our optics
and suppressor specialist. It seems to live and breathes. He said,
this is though of the best ones out there. We
just got its knights armament. He said, it just is
one of the best. That's in five five six. And
I looked at this and I said, yeah, I think
I would like to have that. I'd also need one
of those cleaning kits. Yeah, so awesome.

Speaker 1 (15:23):
Yeah, we have a great suppressor selection here. Guys. You
know me, I have I have an issue with lights.
And actually I have one of these already. It's a Nebo.
And some of you might say, oh, Nebo, that's kind
of a you know, not a huge name in lights.
But I tell you what. They knock it out of
the park sometimes on stuff. And this mini Larry I
use all the time at home and I need another one,

(15:45):
and Popaul, you can I mean, it's a flashlight there.
But then John, if you hold it in it is
a bright let me see where, he goes, like a
fluorescent light that you can somehow you get to it
there that you can mount there. He goes, Yeah, magnet.

Speaker 3 (16:00):
I have three Neebos at home and for the workshop
and everything. They take a lot of abuse, good amount
of my guns. I use other stuff for that. But
that's a go to.

Speaker 1 (16:09):
What else you got, Papa?

Speaker 2 (16:10):
I got here a used firearm, a Ruger Bold Action.
You know what, for some reason, for years, I've wanted
a Bold Action really Yeah? Is that a twenty two
twenty two Magni mag Yeah, and that's the thing is
by Ruger, and I think Ruger makes the best twenty two. Yeah,

(16:32):
just make and it's a solid firearm.

Speaker 1 (16:35):
I like the high viz front sight. Oh great, Now,
I don't want to I don't want to get this
sold out from under you since it would be on
your Christmas list. But it's a used gun, and it's
ten percent off this I mean.

Speaker 2 (16:45):
Oh man, yeah, ten off is ten percent off of
three hundred and twenty nine dollars and.

Speaker 3 (16:50):
Nine wow good good? All right? Speaking of that, I
have a I have a new gun, so this is new.
But I've always really wanted a biathlon gun. I've watched
so much biathlon with the twenty two's in that quick
pull well Hammery which makes exquisite guns. I have a
target pistol Hammerley and it's just incredible. And this action

(17:11):
is just pull, just simple, yeah, just fire pull, puts
another one in and it's a it's a toggle and
it is just it just mimics what what the biathlon
guns for about two thousand dollars less. So this is
a you know, like five eighty nine and the stock
is beautiful. It is adjustable twenty two mags. This takes

(17:35):
ten twenty two mags.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
So it's uh wow, it's it's it's nice that I
see it.

Speaker 3 (17:42):
Yeah, optic ready and suppressed. You can threat, you can
put a supressor on there. It is not suppressed yet,
but when you buy one of our suppressors, it will
be suppressdit And it's just it's great.

Speaker 1 (17:52):
So JC, let's go to a break here. When we
come back on the other side, there's still a lot
of stuff on our Christmas This is sitting around the
table my transmorre. We'll talking broadcasting life from the studios
of l APD Firearms and Range. We'll be back after
the break. Welcome back on talking. I'm your host, Eric
Jointed the l E p D Studio out of retirement.
Of course, you go figure when he's talking about his
Christmas list, he shows up. We got JC to the right.

(18:14):
We're going through our Christmas list. Some really neat ideas
that we happen to sell here at the store that
you might want to consider.

Speaker 3 (18:20):
What are you drooling over?

Speaker 2 (18:21):
Well, two of these guns came in. They were like twins.
They're used firearms in the immaculate condition and and uh,
of course I fell I fell in love with the
wood on it. But I also I like western looking firearms.
With that, I had one, I had a rigor of icaro, yep,

(18:42):
and then I found you know, I said by myself,
what am I doing with this?

Speaker 3 (18:45):
You know?

Speaker 2 (18:47):
And then I sold it. However, I want one again.

Speaker 1 (18:50):
What does that sound like when you cuck that back?

Speaker 2 (18:52):
It sounds like like like like the Colts with the
with the clicks clicks. Oh yeah, and uh, I mean
it's in great shape, right and before being used, and
they came in.

Speaker 3 (19:04):
Two of them came in.

Speaker 1 (19:05):
They looked the same and the guy had both of them.
So let me ask you this. If someone were to
come in and get this for you for Christmas off
your Christmas list, will you commit to like a six
months of being on the show. I mean, that's worth it.

Speaker 2 (19:18):
Well yeah, but someone would have to commit to that, yeah,
I think so okay, all right, right, wait six months
or six shows?

Speaker 1 (19:26):
Well, it's negotiable. I would say six months, but you know,
once it worked here, you.

Speaker 2 (19:29):
Know, well, they would have to be the gun plus
a couple boxes of three five long hole because those
are price.

Speaker 1 (19:36):
At least you got a place to start JC what
else you got, Oh, we.

Speaker 3 (19:40):
Got something on our list here?

Speaker 2 (19:42):
Does?

Speaker 3 (19:42):
You can get it in one or two ways, and
it's fifteen percent off. And this is the the six
hour three twenty X compact, so it's it's optic ready.
It comes with two fifteen round bags and for a compact,
that's great. So again, fifteen percent off. Or if you
you get our membership, get our full membership, just to

(20:02):
add another two hundred and fifty bucks, that's incredible. You
get the gun and it's going for over a little
over seven hundreds, So for two hundred and fifty bucks
and the memberships three fifty and you're saving it's almost
it's almost like getting the gun for free because of
what they amount you get off. So that's a great one.
That's a great one because.

Speaker 1 (20:20):
I'm gonna do two real quick here because my list
seems to be a little bit longer than everybody else is.
This is something that we haven't even talked about. If
you know, we all know what tanner right is right,
you throw it out there and you shoot it and
we booms and stuff. Well, a company called Firebird came
out with these little tiny pucks and I think there.

Speaker 3 (20:36):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (20:36):
They have a sticker on the back and you put
them on steel. This is for outside, and you can
shoot them even with a pellic gun JC, and you
get you get a little. Now. I have on on
good report that one of our employees who lives close
by tried one of these with the pelagun in his
yard the other day and it seemed to work well.
So I'm saying, oh, that.

Speaker 3 (20:57):
Would be that would be great, that would be fanatic.

Speaker 2 (21:00):
Yeah, I can almost get who that employee was.

Speaker 1 (21:02):
I'm not saying Check's name on air, so real quick,
because this is.

Speaker 3 (21:08):
We have a cult M four carbing that is marked
from the factory US government property, and that's a new gun.
It's a new gun.

Speaker 1 (21:17):
So maybe a government overrun or something that's.

Speaker 3 (21:20):
Where I would have to be. But it's marked the
US government.

Speaker 2 (21:22):
What's the price on that?

Speaker 3 (21:23):
For the price on that is sixteen eighty nine.

Speaker 1 (21:29):
And then that yellow sticker JC, I think ten percent.

Speaker 3 (21:35):
Off of that price. But but again still before marked
US government property.

Speaker 1 (21:41):
Yep, guys down in the last couple of minutes, I'm
gonna show a couple of things here. One, I'm gonna
kind of go rapid fire this. We have a couple
of these left glove backpacks. Okay, this is a very
nice backpack. You can put in a ballistic shield to it,
normally fifty nine dollars. Twenty nine dollars. Reachiculous? How that
is ridiculous being think that's miss marked. Okay, what else

(22:05):
do we have here? You know what, j C. You
and I both brought this to the table. We've talked
about it a ton. It is something definitely worth considering.

Speaker 3 (22:14):
And I actually think everyone should. You can buy it
for somebody legal, all fifty stage, no paperwork, You come
in and buy it like a canna bean, and it
hurts and oh.

Speaker 1 (22:22):
Yeah, now I was gonna put on my list this revolver,
but Dad reminded me today I might already own it.
So we're gonna say that one is side.

Speaker 2 (22:30):
How pathetic is that, not even knowing whether you own
a gun or not.

Speaker 1 (22:33):
It gets in the it gets in my uh my office,
and then I don't know if I buy at ten
percent off, we have the Kimber revolver and those, so
this is mber six shot.

Speaker 3 (22:45):
Just I'll pickure that later. That's just the cylinder protector.
But anyway, six shot and for carry. They have flattened
the actual cylinder so it fits a little.

Speaker 2 (22:57):
They flattened the cylinder and six rounds.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
Yeah, well, yeah that is.

Speaker 1 (23:02):
If I didn't own a Smith, I would look at
the Kimber. Yeah, it is nice guys. Ammunition, we need
to do a show on that soon. But uh, three
eighty ammunition from Federal. It is called their Federal Premium
Hydroshock Deep. This is the good stuff to use if
you have a small three to eighty like the Bodyguard
two point zero for Smith and Wesson. Our trainer swear

(23:23):
Events swears by. This definitely something to consider.

Speaker 3 (23:27):
Guys.

Speaker 1 (23:27):
We are unfortunately out of time. There is so much
here to come check out. We appreciate you spending time with.

Speaker 3 (23:34):
Us out of time, but not out a good deal.

Speaker 1 (23:35):
So you we didn't even get to talk about gift cards.
You get deals with that right now too, so stop
buying ce us. Have a great weekend and uh, as
always football, be careful out there there you go
