don't even know what to say. You have I'm totally
caught by surprise here.

Speaker 5 (00:55):
Sure?

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Can no, No, you're good. Can ask a question real quick?
You want? You want to ask a question? Zach ahead
so you can hear you what what?

Speaker 6 (01:04):
How difficult or how fun was it to work on Hustle?
And flow, and is Terrence Howard that out there?

Speaker 7 (01:10):
Now?

Speaker 5 (01:11):
Uh, Terrence is crazy, Okay, but I've known Terrence for
twenty plus years, so I knew he was crazy going
into Okaya Hustle.

Speaker 6 (01:19):
And okay that that was one of my it's one
of my favorite movies.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
That's really cool to.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
Talk to you.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Oh hey man, it's a good one.

Speaker 5 (01:25):
Now if you sit down and talk to Terrence, Terrence
would tell you how he witnessed the making of gold
and if he could just get back to that point
in time, he could recreate it himself.

Speaker 6 (01:37):
He made his own math too and stuff. He's just
a fascinating guy.

Speaker 5 (01:42):
So fascinating guy trying to change pythagorheam's.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Theorems and about that. Hopefully have a dune button.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
I got it, I got it, I got it.

Speaker 4 (01:51):
Okay, bye, okay, all right, we.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
Are not on a.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
Podcas asked that we are not on satellite, so yeah,
that's a huge no.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
No.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
He went right to the F bomb.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
But you you dumped it, right, I did? Okay, good, yeah,
I did. You're good?

Speaker 1 (02:14):
All right?

Speaker 2 (02:15):
Well they dumped it.

Speaker 3 (02:15):
You're good? Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
And you know what's funny though about this whole thing
Alex is with these these people, a lot of the
Hollywood types and so on, they're like in this day
and age, really you still can't say those words. And
it's like terrestrial radio. Well, I don't know that it's
ever going to get to the point. I've maybe at
some point, but I don't know that it'll be during
our lifetimes. But that's that's obviously a huge no no,

(02:41):
you know what I mean.

Speaker 4 (02:41):
So, so well, he was stopping by and then that's
really cool to the makeup room.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
That's so does that happen? I mean fairly often. I
mean clearly first time with you and I when you're
when you're yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:53):
He just happened to be He goes, okay, can I
talk to him? And you heard what happened there? Yeah,
a fair amount. I was to zact that John Tesh
was in here the other day walking by Don Teshu.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
So yeah, it happens from time to time. Before they
do it hit.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
That is really cool? Yeah, like yeah, really really cool. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
I think you're on that seven second to lay though.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
And when you do talk radio and you take live
phone calls and you're live, you have to do that,
especially with guests. And I'll have comedians in here and
stuff too. That for the most part, they they you know,
they mind their p's and q's. But certainly you have
a slip and you want to Now, anybody who was streaming.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
Us heard that, you know, well, that's that's not controlled
correct correct?

Speaker 3 (03:38):
So please, if you were streaming and you just heard that,
save it.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Don't send me an email and say, hey, you know,
an F bomb wind because I'll be like, no, no,
if you heard it, you were streaming us, which is
not that's Internet and anything goes there, but you were
not listening via frequency modulation or amplitude modulation, you were
not listening to terrestrial radio if you in fact actually

(04:03):
heard that. So yeah, that's what I would that's what
I would actually tell people or whatever. So yeah, no, no,
it's it's It's completely cool though, man, no worries.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
I just I'm like, oh, uh me too.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
I've been on the air for three hours and I'm like, oh,
I'm awake, I'm away. So fun But no, he is, Ah,
what a funny dude and a talented guy, and that's
so cool that he's just hanging out with you.

Speaker 6 (04:26):
Man.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
Oh well I don't Yeah, I mean he was walking by.
But yeah, so anyway, oh.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
You know what I was just told actually by our
engineer is our iHeart streaming actually dumps as well. So
now so yeah, our engineer is listening and he just
heard me say what I said, and then he sent
me a texting gooest not true the iHeart streaming actually
don't that So no worries, all right, So as you know,

(04:54):
this is they're saying pre pandemic levels as far as
the travel goes and the flying I think.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
Today is today supposed to be the.

Speaker 4 (05:03):
Busiest scars flying today, driving yesterday, even though now they're
kind of like, well maybe tonight.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
Will be just as busy, if not busier.

Speaker 4 (05:12):
But the biggest issue for today are you guys getting
hit by this big old Midwest storm?

Speaker 2 (05:15):
Are you feeling it?

Speaker 1 (05:16):
I mean it's north of us. Michigan is going to
be getting some of it. We're just getting flurries and
so on, kind of in the central Ohio and most
of Ohio area, so not really not too bad.

Speaker 4 (05:26):
So yeah, there's this blizzard warning up for the upper
Peninsula Michigan. They could get eighteen inches of snow and
then the wind advisories New York, Chicago, Milwaukee, Indianapolis, Detroit,
So that all has major impacts. Seventy three million of
us driving over Thanksgiving, and Triple A says, yeah, last
night was a big traffic day and tonight's expected to
be almost as bad, but could be worse until they

(05:48):
think about eight o'clock tonight when as people are bailing
out after work and then it should lighten up after that.
This guy's driving on the ice in Minnesota today.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
Oh, we didn't know what the roads were like, but
they were clear, they were outstanding and icing anyway, so
everything looked really good and we really didn't have any
noticeable delight.

Speaker 4 (06:06):
Yeah, so it could be worse for him and not
real noticeable. In air travel as well, airline cancelations are
super low for a busy travel They only about one
hundred canceled flights nationwide all day today, Chicago being the
most impacted, but they've only got nineteen canceled flights. Jason
Pantag's head of the TSA out of Lax, He says
things look great today nationwide, that they're back up and
running after the shutdown, and the TSA officers are ready

(06:28):
to go.

Speaker 7 (06:29):
I think just the planning and the preparation, working with
the airport, in the airlines, making sure that we know
what kind of numbers passenger numbers were expecting, making sure
that we're appropriately staffed.

Speaker 4 (06:40):
And this guy flying out of Orlando says, no big deal,
and he's ready to get home.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
Yeah, today we're going home.

Speaker 5 (06:45):
We had fun visiting family, and now it's time to
travel home for.

Speaker 3 (06:49):
Thanksgiving, which is a little opposite what most people are doing.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
Yeah, so he's going backwards to the whole thing.

Speaker 4 (06:53):
So again tonight in Tall about eight o'clock, eight o'clock
is expected to be busy. And then we do it
all again on Sunday as everybody heads home for working
school on Monday.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
But today not too bad.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
And then we get a couple of weeks to catch
our breath and it all starts again for Christmas. You said,
you guys are pretty much hanging around there, so you're
not good lying, okay, And and but you have family
all over the US, kind of scattered all over them.

Speaker 4 (07:20):
Yeah, around the West. They're all driving in and flying in.
So uh well, yeah, I've got a nephew flew in
from Auburn, Alabama. He goes to Auburn, the rest of
northern California, Arizona. But they all kind of converge on us,
which is great.

Speaker 3 (07:33):
Very good man. Uh and uh you told me, oh,
enjoy that salad with bacon.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
You're gonna have You're gonna have that.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
That's it.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
Spinach salad with bacon and some what's the type of
dressing that's on that.

Speaker 2 (07:51):
Like poppy seed dressing?

Speaker 3 (07:52):
That's right, yeah, poppy seed dressing.

Speaker 7 (07:54):
Man.

Speaker 4 (07:55):
That you're ordering barbecue tonight, so bring it in little
try tip some chicken in all the sides.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
Oh, is that for dinner tonight? That's not for tomorrow,
is it?

Speaker 2 (08:04):
Or is it for for tonight?

Speaker 3 (08:06):
Yeah? Tonight? All for tonight.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
Okay, Yeah, you're doing a traditional thing, you know, turkey
and all that tomorrow. Okay, yeah, I gotcha. We're having
actually we're having Chinese tonight.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
Actually for enjoy love.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
Yeah, very good.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
Alex Stone, ABC News in Los Angeles, Alex happy, thanksgiving
you too, Thank you, thank you, my friend, and thanks
for the special guest.

Speaker 3 (08:24):
Appreciate it. It's so cool.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
Anthony Anderson, first time he's on these airwaves.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
