more Yes. Hey, Chuck was on this morning for Columbus

editor in chief of the Loftusparty dot com that show tonight,
gott dot com, TST dot com.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Michael Loftis, ye're little Metallica opening. Good to be here,
good to be back in the old hometown.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
Yes, thank you very much for joining me today. Appreciate
it very much. Sorry, I didn't actually get to see
you while you were I saw you when you were
in Vegas, but we didn't hang out.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
There was like a text thing. Then you disappeared. Yeah,
and I'm like, I thought he was at this show.
So I texted you after and you're like, dude, I'm
out early day golf three morning.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
I know.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
So here's the thing, Like I we really didn't have
any plans, and I didn't want to assume. I didn't
know what you had going while you were in Vegas,
so I didn't want to know nothing.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
Oh see, now I feel like an idiot. Are you serious?
All dude?

Speaker 2 (01:03):
It was all good. I tried to make it over.
My buddy was working over at the Kenny Chesney Show. Okay,
so I was gonna try to scoot over.

Speaker 3 (01:11):
Is that the Sphere? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:13):
And I guess they were doing a lot of rehearsals.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
Kenny Chesney is quite the perfectionist, which is very cool.

Speaker 4 (01:20):
Like, you go into the I've never been in the sphere.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
I've seen footage of other people, and I'm like, that's
such an opportunity.

Speaker 4 (01:26):
You don't want to swing in a miss?

Speaker 1 (01:28):
I mean, all right, you got to you gotta have
your stuff together. You can't go in there going We'll
figure it out.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
And if you are going to a Grateful Dead show,
make sure you're holding onto the hand railing at all times.
I've heard that I can't imagine what those poor people
go through just visually.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Yeah, they're all jacked up on whatever.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
And then you throw that into the mix and you're like,
and that place can feel like from what I understand,
it's crawling and moving, yet you're not.

Speaker 5 (01:58):
Going it's crazy.

Speaker 4 (02:01):
Whoa did I do?

Speaker 1 (02:05):
So, so back to the fact that I feel like
a total idiot now, and what I didn't want to
do was, first of all, that's my first time seeing
you in your natural habitat.

Speaker 3 (02:15):
You will seriously, it really was.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
That's such a fun club, dude.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
You had them by the you know what, swinging them around.
It was great. That's like a two hundred seat it's
so intimate. You can smell fitty so the back row.
You can tell what they had for dinner.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
It's that close to you, like a commad club. It
really supposed to be.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
It really is intimate. It's it's great you can have
a conversation. If I want to go out and talk
to somebody in the crowd, I can see who I'm
talking to. A lot of places are they're going big.
Like I'm heading to Chicago in two weeks. That's a
five hundred seat room. You know that'd be fun. I
was like going to Chicago. But there's a part of
me that just put me in a two hundred and

(02:56):
fifty seat, sold out show.

Speaker 4 (02:59):
Everybody he's having a good time, it was.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
It was so good. It was so good, dude, I'm
not kidding. And I know I know what kind of
a guy you are. I know you're like what you're capable.
I know, like your raw ability to come in here
and riff. You do it show after show after show
with me, and it's just like you throw a topic
up in the air and you're like, and you can

(03:22):
see you do it all the time on Gutfeld too.
It's like it's one of those that's a gift and
not a lot of people. So anyway, point being, so
I'm watching at first, you know, I didn't know Brad
Garrett was going to be there. It's his theater or whatever,
and I know your buds with him. But he comes
out and so people and you were even going, I
didn't even know he was going to perform that, you

(03:43):
know or whatever. So he goofed on me by the
way too, which was great.

Speaker 4 (03:49):
Raymond thanks.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
Well, he's like, you know, looking around the room and
you know that's basically his his warm up and he
just starts everybody. It's the funniest thing he's so he's
such a the terrific You can just tell the guy
is DNA. He's got comedy DNA like you. I mean,
it's just to watch is like incredible. It really was.

Speaker 4 (04:14):
So much fun. He looks so much fun. That dude.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
I think he grew up in Los Angeles but wanted
to be a comedian and started like when.

Speaker 4 (04:25):
Before it was popular, before it was a thing.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
He was the opening act for Sammy Davis Junior for
years and years. Then he would fill in for Tommy Dreasen,
who was Sinatra's guy. So when when Tommy would go
on vacation, a young Brad Garrett would fill in.

Speaker 4 (04:43):
So that's his whole thing. Man, Hey, hey, what's your name?
Where you're from? It's like old school. It's the best
of the old thing it is. He's a master of it.
It looked the Chinese girls laughing, just boom bang bang bang,
like like an edgy.

Speaker 3 (04:56):
Er Don Rickles exactly.

Speaker 1 (04:59):
There.

Speaker 4 (04:59):
No one's doing in that there mark except Brad.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
There was one black girl in the back, and he
focused on he was And some people were like looking
around at each other in this day and age, this landscape,
going we're supposed to be laughing, you know, they wanted
to be. But I'm saying to myself, you go to
a black comedy show, they start picking on white people.
I'm like, everything, yes, and it wasn't It's not personal.

(05:23):
He's he like, he's looking around the front row and
he goes, you know, I was just like you, you're
a hooker, right, I mean that's like he starts with the.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
Girl like that.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
He's like, those are the most amazing rack you got,
And so immediately you're like thrown off, like and so
he's going around.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
And he goes, hello, bald man like that to me.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
And I was, well, I sent you the picture of
you is to your right, So I was I was
like a few rows back. But he's like and he goes,
what do we got going on there? What is that
on your chip? What is that flavor?

Speaker 3 (05:55):
Savor?

Speaker 4 (05:56):
Like?

Speaker 1 (05:56):
He's so he's just goofing on me, and I was like,
I feel very this is fantastic, Brad.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
Correct, it was really cool. That was such a fun night.

Speaker 1 (06:06):
Yes, you killed I mean and you you gotta love
Vegas too, because a lot of people are in a
really good mood when they're there.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
Yeah, It's it's easy to just feed off that entergy.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
And that's what I try to Yeah, that's what I
try to vibe on when I'm there, Like a lot
of people.

Speaker 4 (06:21):
There's a lot of Gutfeld fans, I mean a lot.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (06:25):
Later on in that week and just it was great.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
So I ended up staying most nights to say hi
to people and take I love I love meeting.

Speaker 4 (06:34):
I love meeting people, and so that's that was a
great time. And a lot of people are like, wow,
I thought you I thought you might do more political stuff.
I'm like, not in Vegas.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
No, No, you come to Vegas to party, to do
some banging, do some gambling.

Speaker 4 (06:48):
Dude, you don't want to be like boy, that last
vote in the snate was really tight.

Speaker 3 (06:53):
Come on, exactly read the room if you.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
Yeah, and you know the people that are there, by
the way, they're there and you know they know Michael
Loftis is performing, and you know, excuse me, you know
their political persuasion. Anyway, at that point, they're not coming
to see you because they hate Gutfeld and they hate
you and they hate you know, conservatives, So you know
that they're there.

Speaker 3 (07:15):
So it's just like, well, am I going to do that?

Speaker 1 (07:17):
By the way, you do that on gut Feld and
all your other you know that show tonight dot Comer,
you do that stuff and all and you go so
on stage, I'm just gonna do flat like just comedy
and man like, I can't I'm serious.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
I can't say enough about how good it was.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
You're very kind. It really it's fun. It's a fun week.
It's a long week. They treat you like a rock
star when you're there, and.

Speaker 4 (07:41):
So I'm going back.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
So I'm already I'll be back this that same It'll
be like the first week in June next year, okay,
which is perfect. You get into Vegas, you have a
good time, and you leave right before it becomes like
dangerously hot.

Speaker 3 (07:56):
Oh dangerously hot.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
I thought you met like before it becomes danger good time, Yeah, right,
yeah you go.

Speaker 2 (08:04):
Yeah, I gotta so I got to get out there
early next time so I can see the inside of
that sphere. I gotta go catch a show there. That
just it just looks incredible. I've heard nothing but great things.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
Yeah, that is a it's an amazing venue to see shows.
From what I understand, you know, you two launched that.
They did a residency there way back when it you know,
first opened, and from what I understand, you know, tickets
were the nosebleeds, if you will, or the ones way
up or that's where you want to take seven hundred
dollars just for those, and then you start getting closer

(08:36):
and it was off the charts.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
What I mean, I don't even know.

Speaker 4 (08:38):
I think that was.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
Before they had it figured out, Like you don't want
to be down bike.

Speaker 4 (08:43):
We don't want to be on the floor. You want
to be up in the balcony.

Speaker 3 (08:47):
Because you're missing out otherwise.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
Yeah, you get a much better visual experience, and I
guess the sound is great anywhere you go.

Speaker 3 (08:53):
Yeah, yeah, that place.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
We'll see how many tickets Bono and the boys sell
for the next one. Yeah, he was Oh dude, when
he was on the Rogan podcast, did you see those clips?
Oh no, where he was just making up crap about
Elon Musk and usaid, oh, was fantastic.

Speaker 4 (09:10):
It's fantastic.

Speaker 5 (09:10):
You've got Bono going already, Joe already because of these
drastic kuts, these drastic cuts, and usaid three hundred thousand.
I think it's like, I think it's like three hundred
thousand children are dead, starved to death.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
And Rogan's like, dude, I don't I don't think that's
Oh yeah, so Rogan called him on It Live. It
was great and Bono now you find out, Yeah, Bono
just made that stat up out of whole cloth. And
then people are looking at his charity, remember the one

(09:44):
charity you know, so yeah, by this thing that's kind
of expensive, but we're gonna feed starving kids, and it
was the classic. It was the classic, Like ninety eight
percent of the money stayed in the foundation and less
than one percent and actually bought food for starving kids.

Speaker 3 (10:02):
Oh imagine.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
Yeah, we had to pay five million dollars in salaries
and then we needed to Yeah, we needed a nice
office building, and we needed this and that, and it's.

Speaker 4 (10:11):
Like the classic. It's the classic. Save the punt.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
That's what we hate about USA, I d it's what
we love about dose right, cut it all off.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
Speaking of that, you let me write into it.

Speaker 5 (10:23):
What it's not proven, but there's surveillance enough suggests three
hundred thousand people.

Speaker 4 (10:29):
Have already died. And there it is from Rogan.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
It's not it's not proven, but there's evidence to suggest.
There's evidence to suggest you put your album on my
phone when I never asked for it.

Speaker 4 (10:43):
Bono.

Speaker 3 (10:43):
Oh I remember that.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
Yeah, that's where that's where the worm turned. They gave
everybody a free, free album. We're like, how dare you?

Speaker 5 (10:51):
How dare you?

Speaker 4 (10:52):
You violated my phone?

Speaker 3 (10:55):
I didn't ask for this. That's the worst kind right there.
It is violation.

Speaker 1 (11:00):
Like I don't know what about people are like, I
don't even like you too want this, it's free.

Speaker 4 (11:04):
A fan, I was a.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
Fan of Joseph.

Speaker 4 (11:07):
I'm like, how do you delete this? This is garbage?
You don't how dare you?

Speaker 2 (11:15):
So?

Speaker 1 (11:16):
What do you make of And we can kind of
begin this conversation now, But what do you make of
this whole thing going on with Elon and President Trump
and you know, the stuff that he tweeted yesterday? I'm
sure you're you're up to speed on all of this,
and we were even we spent a lot of time
on this yesterday.

Speaker 3 (11:34):
And my first thought was, there's no way that the information.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
You know, he's saying that Trump was on that list,
which is why it has not been released yet. That's
why everyone keeps going, Pambondi is a nothing burger, cashpitel
is a nothing burger. Why haven't they released this? And
he said, you know, you're welcome. Dj T was at
the very end of his tweet saying that Trump was
and I was saying, are you you think that the

(11:58):
information that has been available, it was available by the
way to the prior administration. Do you think for one
second they sat on that and let him get elected,
or let Kamala lose, or however you want to frame
this just for starters, but this whole thing that's happening now.
They were supposed to have a phone call today and

(12:18):
Trump said he is not interested in taking any phone
calls his uh. He was like, I am not interested
in talking to Elon Musk. Elon's totally lost, it is
what Trump said. And he was saying, I think he did.
You see where he's going. He's looking around the overalls
as he goes. I think he misses being here. I mean,
look at this place. I think he probably misses. It's

(12:40):
just it's just interesting to see two of the most
powerful people in history, let alone right now in the world,
and the feud that's happening. It's happening right in front
of us real time. And I don't know if you
have any takes on it, or you've been thinking about
it or what have you.

Speaker 3 (12:55):
But it is shocking, to.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
Say the least for me, wonderful. It's wonderful and I
couldn't be happier. I wrote about this on my website,
The Loftiestparty dot com. Here's what's great about it. Both
of these guys aren't idiots. We know that for a fact, right,
You don't get to where you're at, and Trump yesterday
is like, and then we're gonna we're gonna roll back

(13:16):
the ev mandate. We're gonna roll back. And Elon never
wanted that to begin with. And I think Trump knows that.
And then when when Elon is like, Okay, here's the
big bombshell, oh the Epstein list, Elon knows for a fact, Yes, yes,
Trump is mentioned in the file, but not as a
guy who went to the island, not as a guy

(13:38):
who's a suspect.

Speaker 4 (13:39):
He's just like, his name is mentioned it. We all
knew that.

Speaker 2 (13:44):
So to me, it's like, it's all and I don't
want to I don't want to spoil it. I don't
want to spoil it. Well, I think it's a big
giant game of make believe. And I think it's a
wonderful leverage because Elon's mad about the Big Beautiful Bill,
because the Big Beautiful Bill is a big beautiful pile
of bs. There's no way you don't come in with

(14:05):
Doge and look at all of this waste, fraud and abuse.
And then the Congress isn't codifying any of this is
and we're we're not gonna make these cuts we're not
gonna move on this, and the big beautiful bill adds
to the debt.

Speaker 4 (14:19):
No, no, my friend, no, because.

Speaker 2 (14:21):
One of the tweets that that Elon put out was like,
you would you support a third party?

Speaker 4 (14:26):
Would you support a third party?

Speaker 5 (14:28):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (14:29):
And that's where the money is.

Speaker 2 (14:32):
And I think that Trump has to go back to
all the dips in freaking Congress and then the GOP
and go look at this, Look at that number.

Speaker 4 (14:41):
That should scare the heck out of you. Guys. They
will leave you, they will leave you, and I will
I will lead the charge.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
I'll be right there with angry Elon and angry Trump
pretending to fight, and I'll be like, yeah, we're out,
We're out. I sent these people to DC to stop
the crazy spending and reduce the size of government.

Speaker 4 (15:04):
And I know everybody's had their finger in the cookie jar.

Speaker 2 (15:07):
Okay, everybody's got all My sister runs an MgO and
she has a salary of five million. It's they're all
getting rich on it. That's the only way you can
get rich in politics is if you're dirty. So there's
a bunch of people on the left, there's a bunch
of people.

Speaker 4 (15:21):
Pretending to be on the right.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
Who are dirty. They are lying, cheating scumbags. Here's your
head's up, Get your finger out of the cookie jar
and spend less money and maybe you'll stay out of jail.

Speaker 3 (15:36):
Very very interesting,
