Speaker 1 (00:00):
Ah, yes, in a way we go.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
You know, I knew when I walked in today that uh,
there's a there's different apparatus here in the studio. And
by apparatus I mean the thing that's you know, holding
on to the microphone or whatever. When did did you
notice this Zach attack that that that a different piece of.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
Yeah, Chuck came in the other day or that I
don't know what day it was when he was host.
He's like, oh, they changed, I guess Grant came in
and and fixed it.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
You're right, And and you know from the thing before
where it was just dangling, they.

Speaker 4 (00:37):
Have to let like that was really funny because like.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
It was just dangling like the whole show.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
I was so glad there wasn't a breeze because you
have had to move your head.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
The whole thing would have just been swinging back and forth.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
But listen, here's the thing when when you have studios
like that are in this building to the tune of
I don't know how many working studios are a.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Lot in this building.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
A lot, I mean, just off the top of my head,
probably ten or twelve as far as and then there
are matter what five or six that are on air
or air ready kind of.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Like what we do.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
And uh so it's a lot as far as the
equipment and so on. So but I just noticed, like
I walked in today, I go, oh, they completely changed
out the like the whole thing as far as you know,
the way it was set up before.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
You're not hearing Chuck's voice because he's not here. And
I gotta be.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
Honest, it wasn't scheduled as far as him not being here,
I'm not. I know that there was something to do
with he was having a like something that he had
had done before that he had talked about on the
air as far as with like something to do with
one of.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
His legs, something about the don't quote me, but something
with the like cleaning out the artery type.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
Of yeah, like something with his legs.

Speaker 4 (01:56):
One leg he needed to do the.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
Other the other one right right, And so he had
talked about that on the air, and I guess I
was I did not know that he was having that
done today, but he had done it the other leg
before on like day that he was going to be
on the air, and he was on the air that day.
He was like saying, oh, yeah, it's just routine blah
blah blah. Well, he had that done earlier today, I

(02:20):
guess the other leg, which I didn't even realize. Of course,
you know, I've been off through yesterday. I've been off,
you know, all last week and then yesterday. So I
come in and then you told me that, you know,
you didn't think basically, it sounded like it he wasn't
going to be here today or he was going to
be late, or something along those lines. But I don't

(02:41):
know exactly what's happening. All I know is I haven't
heard from him. I haven't talked to him. I haven't
spoken to him, so I'm not exactly And again I
didn't even realize he was having something done today. So
but again he had had this kind of thing performed
on the other leg and then was here that same day.
So I'm not exactly sure what to say, except he's

(03:04):
not here in the studio and I sent him a
text and he's not he's not answering the text right
now either.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
I think the thing might have went a little bit longer.
I think he's fine though, So well, yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
I would hope obviously that because it seemed based on
what he was saying, it seemed like it was pretty
routine that he was you know, what he was having done.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
Or what have you any single procedure they put you
under anesthesia at all and say they have to make
a minor adjustment and they have to give you more.

Speaker 4 (03:31):
You might be sleeping longer.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
Oh as far and you don't is that what you
don't know that that's what happened or you're just guessing.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
I know that he's they had it took a little
bit longer than.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
Normal as far as the procedure goes.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
Yeah, yeah, okay, right, And you're right as far as
the you know, if you're under anesthesia or whatever that is,
you're just on a side note, I like, it.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Is that bad that I said that?

Speaker 4 (04:02):
It is a it's a nap to say the leader.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
Is it bad that I said that?

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Because man, when that when that feeling starts in your head,
when you can kind of start to feel like you're like, oh,
there it is, and then they go count backwards and
you from a hundred, you're like one hundred.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
That's it.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
Like when that's the whole thing starts in my head,
I'm like, oh, yeah, here we go.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
They always could tell I'm anxious about it. So my
doctor gives it. I have about two or three minutes
of happy juice before they put me.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
Oh so you you have anxiety going under?

Speaker 1 (04:39):
Yeah? Yeah, leading up to it.

Speaker 4 (04:41):
This natural anxiety. I've done it a million times.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
Is it because you're like, man, I hope I wake
up because okay, so that's the normal. I'm pretty sure
that's the normal trajectory for most people.

Speaker 4 (04:53):
You're like, give it to you.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
Well, I know what's wrong with me then, because I'm like,
I'm not nervous at all leading up to and I'm like,
can we do this?

Speaker 1 (05:01):
Please? Hurry up.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
I think I could go without the anxiety meds. But
my doctor gives it to me, and I'm like, oh hey,
there's a good two minutes where I'm pretty sure I'm
talking and saying things. Yeah, I know it's English. I
just don't know if they've ever came out in.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
That order before.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
I do know that Dave said we're giving you some
you know, something to calm you down or whatever.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
I've heard him say that to me before.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
And I'm like thinking to myself, was I really like
up where you needed.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
To calm me down? Because I wasn't.

Speaker 4 (05:29):
And I'm like they don't I had a heart mind
who knows.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
Well, I'm like, I don't need any help calming down.
Trust me, I'm ready.

Speaker 4 (05:36):
You're excited and needed to calm you down.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
That could be it where they're going, Well, your heart
was kind of you know, and I'm like, that's an anticipation,
not anxiety.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
Both start with an A but mean very different things.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
Your heart rates the same as like if the Steelers
are in the super Bowl before kickoff.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
Yeah, exactly, except all it is is I'm like, I
know I'm about to go under, bye bye everybody, you know.
And one of the movies I know you might be going,
you're really watching the Steven Sagall movie when you're in
a beautiful beach house on the beach while you're One
of the Stephen Sigall movies was on where he was

(06:14):
like marked for Death. I think it was Marked for
Death or one of the ones where or No Hard
to Kill.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
Have you seen the Cigal?

Speaker 4 (06:22):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (06:22):
Yeah, like and my mother in law did nothing, but
it was funny.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
She's like, what a terrible actor like she was, you know,
trashing it and I'm like, what are you talking about?
Steven Siagall is great, you know, like I just kept
being stupid about it. But point being, he was in
a coma for like multiple years. And if you'll remember,
Kelly LeBrock was in that movie with him, Yes, and
that ended up being I think his wife for a minute,

(06:47):
I think they got married.

Speaker 4 (06:48):
I think they got married in real life.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
Yeah, yeah, for a minute.

Speaker 4 (06:50):
I didn't blame him on that one, but anyway, it.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
Made me think about that.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
I'm like, well, I'm not looking to do that be
you know, in a coma for multiple years, because then
you after and if you were, if you've seen that movie,
you've seen him have to come back from that, like
the type of stuff that he had to do.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
So there's a happy medium here, is where I'm going
with that.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
So yeah, no, you do get a nice do get
a nice nap, and what do you wake up out
of it? I'm pretty relaxed.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
I'm pretty relaxed, but I'm pissed because I'm like, I'm
not ready to wake up yet. I'd like to keep sleeping,
thank you, and they're bothering me. I'm like, stop bothering me.
I wanted to lay it and I wake up as.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
Fast as like hey, and you're like another blanket.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
Right one of my leg things that I had done
on my leg, like when I had that tibi ol
plateau fracture. My wife did say like, hey, they were
concerned because they were having trouble waking you up. And
I'm like, well they and then later on I go,
you know, they probably used too much of whatever it
was they put me down with, is all I'm thinking.

(07:54):
But she's like, no, they were, they were really concerned
and so and she was kind of almost of tearing
up when she was talking about it. I'm like, oh,
will you take it easy, like things are going to
be alright, just relaxed, trust me.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
You can't get rid of me that easy. Well she was,
But yeah, I.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
Mean, the chances of anything actually happening to you that's
serious is so rare.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
Look, they don't want to They don't want to lose
their license and a bunch of money anymore than I
want to take their license and get a bunch of money.
Of course, I'm not getting any of the money if
I'm the one that passes from it. But right, yeah, yeah,
I'll tell you. Is it also bad that you know,
we we did we were in Panavidra Beach and if
you are on socials.

Speaker 1 (08:34):
You saw I posted that.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
You know I played the TPC Sawgrass Stadium course there,
which is where the Players Championship is held to PGA,
and on seventeen that island green that's world famous. Everybody
knows if you play golf, people know that course, they
know that hole.

Speaker 1 (08:51):
That the island green there.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
I ended up parring it and I posted on Facebook
if you want to go check it out my shot.
The cat actually filmed me hitting the shot and I
landed on the green and it stayed somehow.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
And then I two putted.

Speaker 2 (09:06):
A a is a par three and it was playing
one hundred and forty one yards. I hit a smooth
eight iron and it stayed on the green. I could
not believe that. Now I shot. I didn't put this online,
but I shot ninety eight. So it was terrible. As
far as my round golf, it was so bad, forty
ninety nine.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
I went forty nine on the front, forty nine on
the back.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
I lost six golf balls while I was there in
the water, a different water, and I parred one, two
and three. I parred sixteen and seventeen and then the
rest of it was a It was an adventure.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
Let me tell you, you still got to play at TP,
so that's really cool.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
It was, dude, it was crazy that I got to
play that. The fact that I parred seventeen was worth
the price of admission. We played the same teas that
you've seen Tiger play. Fred Couples go down the whole list,
every golfer that is a golfer that's played that course.
We hit from the same grass, the same teas they
hit from and I pard the hole that some of

(10:07):
them have gone into the water and so on. As
matter of fact, famously, Fred Couples, he hit the ball
into the water off of that tee. Then he so
the way that they count this is it's into the
water in one out in two strokes, and now he's reteeing,
so he's hitting his third shot, he's hitting three exactly.

(10:27):
And then he ended up holing out for like it
would have been a hole in one had he not
dunked one, and he holed out for a park. He
parred the hole after putting one in the water by
holding out. It was like, so that there's so many storied,
all this different with that course.

Speaker 1 (10:45):
In that hole particularly, I'm telling you that was an
enormous highlight for me.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
And then right there I call that one A and
then one B would be BUCkies.

Speaker 4 (10:55):
Okay, I actually got to go.

Speaker 1 (10:57):
We went to the BUCkies.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
It was in Brunswick, Georgia, which is north of Savannah
or is that yeah, north of Savannah or south of Savannah,
but right near Savannah.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
It's a brand new one.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
Let me tell you. It was absolute insanity. I guess
they have one hundred gas pumps there. You've been to BUCkies, right, No?

Speaker 4 (11:16):
I haven't.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
Oh you've never been in a Bucky.

Speaker 3 (11:18):
No, that's why what I saw that you put on.
I saw the video where you're like, I'm going into
b and my whole thing, and I'm not trying to
be I don't know any different.

Speaker 4 (11:27):
So I'm like, it's a gas station. What am I missing?

Speaker 1 (11:31):
So it's as big as like a Walmart.

Speaker 2 (11:33):
It's enormous inside, maybe a little smaller than a like
a full sized supercenter Walmart whatever what, but they have
you know, everything you can think of, and I picked up,
I dropped. We spent over three hundred dollars in there,
like an idiot, and they were buying. Dude, I have
BUCkies swim trunks. Now I have I have five kids.

(11:54):
You not, man, I have. I know I went, I
went all WT man, I'm telling you I trashed out.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
I'll say it. I don't care. I he'll bullied out.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
Man. I got a BUCkies. I got the bright red
BUCkies T shirt with him on the front like smiling.
I got a BUCkies. It's a Hawaiian type shirt. It's
all crazy, but there's like BUCkies heads all over it.

Speaker 1 (12:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (12:18):
And then you know, Stone ended up getting like BUCkies
trunks and then my what we got BUCkies blankets. We
we bought all kinds of dog bowls for Esther.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
I mean, it was not it was so fun in
that store.

Speaker 2 (12:33):
And I was like, I got a Oh, I ain't
even getting a new I got a new uh.

Speaker 1 (12:40):
Pocket knife? Yeah, I got a new.

Speaker 2 (12:43):
BUCkies can get any of the jerky, and I did.
I got I got multiple bags of their jerky. I mean,
Io posted a picture of that wall where all the
jerky is. And so this is what we're going in
for the one that's gonna be near Dayton that they're
building here in Ohio.

Speaker 4 (12:57):
So it's worth going. It's not just a stupid game.

Speaker 2 (13:00):
No, it's it's unbelievable. As far as I'm concerned. There
are plenty of people I'm sure listening going, you're an
idiot and going it is a it's a gas station,
like zactly say.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
But I'm telling you, it was incredible. The place was incredible.

Speaker 4 (13:12):
Man, I will take your word for it.

Speaker 3 (13:14):
So I if it's a lazy Sunday afternoon and they
have that built and date and it's worth going down there,
It's never been sure.

Speaker 2 (13:21):
Yeah, And I will warn you if you're going, as
soon as they get it open, you're gonna you're probably
gonna you're gonna be tasked with waiting in line just
to get you know, to one of the gas pumps
or what excep. Yeah, we didn't get gas or anything,
but we just went inside and and you know, started
buying everything. And so I don't know, I just I

(13:43):
it exceeded my expectations. I knew that it was gonna
be good, but it was way better than I even imagine.
And you know, remember station talked about it so many times.

Speaker 4 (13:52):
I always talked about it.

Speaker 2 (13:53):
Yeah, like she had and she swore by the jerky
there and all that boy that jerky is you know,
and she brought some in.

Speaker 1 (13:59):
But yeah, that wall of jerky is ridiculous.

Speaker 3 (14:02):
Well, vacation, I'm glad BUCkies was worth it.

Speaker 1 (14:06):
It was so, it was, it was great.

Speaker 3 (14:07):
I do have to ask, Yeah, you drove that uh yeah,
that jeep.

Speaker 4 (14:11):
Semi truck down there? How was that? Was it so deal?

Speaker 1 (14:15):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (14:15):
So I rented a jeep wagon ear l which I
think the l stands for long. I think it's safe
enough to the thing is ridiculous. And I was told
that it had the most luggage room behind the third row.
And we had seven people going with luggage, including my
golf clubs, and everything fit in there barely. I mean
we were Griswolden down the road, I'll be honest. I

(14:39):
mean the back was bulging open. I don't know, you
couldn't have fit an extra pretzel rod in there. I
mean it was like we jammed that thing full. And
it was all the way down upon Avidra Beach, which
is south of Jacksonville. But we did stay over in
Columbia on the way down and stuff. But yeah, that
made it a lot a lot nicer. And Hannah and
her gang and Anna I didn't get anything free.

Speaker 1 (15:01):
I'm not I'm not you know doing that.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
I'm just saying when I discover, you know a place
of business that does really good business, because in this
day and age, how often do we not get any
kind of customer service.

Speaker 1 (15:15):
It's absent these days.

Speaker 2 (15:17):
And I will tell you Hannah and her gang at
the Dublin Enterprise were absolutely unbelievable to me, guy Matthew
who works there, another guy I believe maybe Jordan that
works there. The nicest people ever, how you you know
what it is a crapshoot. Honestly when you go to
rent a vehicle. You know how this goes. When you

(15:38):
rent a car, you get told it's going to be
this one or this one, and then and the little
asterisk says.

Speaker 1 (15:44):
Or similar and so very important and man exactly, and.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
I was really really scared going in that they were
gonna be like, well we were unable to get that one,
and they were gonna give me a i don't know,
like a something that was half that size. I'm like, yeah,
that's not gonna work. They were, so they were amazing,
those people there. So I'm glad you brought that up,
but they they really were.

Speaker 3 (16:07):
They I am I've rented a lot of cars because
I've traveled enough, but it's amazing how many times you
can go to a car rental place and be like, hey,
I reserved this and they're like what right, okay, and
then you're caught off guard.

Speaker 2 (16:22):
And then I will also tell you that's got to
be one of the most beautiful places on earth, that area,
and there's not a ton of people where it's so
crowded that you know you can't it's hard to turn around.
I mean, you go to Obix, Outer Banks or any
of those places. But I'm telling you that panavidr Beach area,
which is north of Saint Augustine, Saint Augustine, the oldest
city in America. All of that, I mean, that place

(16:44):
is such a gem. It's such a nice place to go,
even though we're right in the middle of the tourist
season right now.

Speaker 1 (16:52):
I mean, it is so so good.

Speaker 2 (16:54):
That place was just absolutely And then that I also
posted a picture of that banana spider that I that
I saw that was on the front porch when I
walked out one morning to take esther out. Yeah, I
posted I don't know if you didn't see the post
then of that banana spider. Dude, that thing is enormous,
and I didn't even know what it was until I
posted and everybody started telling me what it was. But

(17:17):
those things are absolutely frightening. That's when I said, searching
Amazon for a blowtorch, Now.

Speaker 4 (17:25):
It's huge.

Speaker 2 (17:26):
It's enormous, man, thing was I mean like out of
control huge, like really really? That was one of the
things that and everyone's like, don't tell don't tell Kathy,
which is my mother in law. Don't tell her, don't
tell her. She's gonna flip out and be like we
gotta go. She's gonna start packing and want to leave.
And I'm like, you know, we are in Florida, where yeah,

(17:46):
there are some very large, large you know, what a
what a fantastic place though, that is I mean, so
so nice,
