you like? Wake up and go, man, I can't believe
this to your wife?

big day for the you bobcatch tomorrow. So we're excited

play them, so that'd be fun. They haven't played each
other since nineteen forty nine. No kidding in West Virginia

Where As college goes, yes, I'm rooting for Ohio University
tomorrow and hopefully they pull off the victory. And of
course the Buckeyes again, it's at three point thirty in
the shoe, Grambling State coming in and their college is

rich in history and so on. Obviously on a smaller scale,
but this will be this will be a good, nice
and the question I saw.

Yeah, And as far as ranking goes and so on,
we'll see how the rest of the season shakes out.
But nobody the beautiful thing about all this, Troy, and
I think you would agree with me that the first
twelve team playoff in collegiate football history, the Buck guys
ended up winning the national championship and running through that

starting in Tennessee with the volunteers and coming off of
that Michigan loss still stung, but guess what, we ended
up National champs And in Will Howard, he's with my
Steelers now, I'm so happy. But what we witnessed from
our Buckeyes, you know, you hope that they've got just
sixty seventy percent of that, maybe fifty percent of that
at least getting underway here and can we do it again.

It's really really, really, really special what they pulled off
last year.

I mean the defense I was going away by the crazies,
right and I love you know how they were showing
in the following day on Sunday. It was fun to
watch some of the schemes that he put up, the
defensive coordinator put up, uh confused Manning.

I well, you got in Matt Patricia, you got somebody
who you know was with the Patriots and this is
this guy's real.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
First you'll come in here, right. Well, I don't know
what was the deal with that. I didn't it just

Well, the former defensive coordinator, you know, left went to
uh what state?

Penn State? Yeah, and I you know, it was like
what what was that all about?

What was his reasoning is like millions of reasons or whatever,
you know, like it was one of those.

Kind of tongue in cheek things. I don't know.

As far as controversy, I'm not sure about that. And
maybe there was, but uh, this Patricia is the real
deal man.

I mean, had three or four Super Bowl ranks.
Speaker 1 (08:41):
Yeah, I mean you his his DNA runs deep. He
knows exactly how to scheme and so we got a
full front row seat for and it's only going to
get better.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
Bat that whole defensive backfield.

I also represent the Athens so Hi University is on
my list too, So yeah, we'll be watching for that
game in a couple of weeks. When OU comes up
to the Buckeyes and they play in the Horseshoes, so
they're really excited. Oh, you plays West Virginia tomorrow and
it's just sold out game for them. So it's a
big day for the you bobcatch tomorrow. So we're excited

for them and the West Virginia Mountaineers coming over to
play them, so that'd be fun. They haven't played each
other since nineteen forty nine. No kidding in West Virginia
one or excuse me, oh my goodness, don't the Bobcats one.
Speaker 1 (09:28):
Bobcats one. Yeah, this isn't a podcast. I can't edit
that up.
Speaker 2 (09:31):
Yeah, I know. Sorry, I'm sorry, Bobcats. We got it.

Look, bottom line is you know ou one and you
got it right. But the other part is, I think
any anybody listening, anybody that lives here in Ohio, we're
all going to root for Ohio teams.
Speaker 2 (09:48):
Yeah, unless you're Steeler Bowling green. Now, I mean that's fantastic.
Speaker 1 (09:51):
Yes, I was gonna say unless you're a Steeler fan,
and then we're talking NFL, and then I'm not really
rooting for Ohio teams. But that's a whole separate conversation.
Where As college goes, yes, I'm rooting for Ohio University
tomorrow and hopefully they pull off the victory. And of
course the Buckeyes again, it's at three point thirty in
the shoe, Grambling State coming in and their college is

rich in history and so on. Obviously on a smaller scale,
but this will be this will be a good, nice
and the question I saw.
Speaker 3 (10:20):
One of the headlines was will Ohio.
Speaker 1 (10:22):
State football open the playbook for Julian saying they're our
quarterback after passing his first test, And I say, yes,
they're probably. I don't know that they're going to one
thousand percent really open it up and let him loose tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (10:37):
But we're going to.
Speaker 1 (10:37):
See probably a lot more down the field shots and
so on tomorrow, and hopefully it.
Speaker 3 (10:43):
Doesn't bite us.
Speaker 1 (10:43):
But you got a guy who he really managed the
game well last week. We know that he didn't lose
it for us, which is one thing that that's a
huge positive, especially against a really good Longhorns team.
Speaker 3 (10:55):
And the fact that we went number one.
Speaker 1 (10:57):
Now we already have Cross Arizonas I was talking to
part of our Best Buckeye coverage earlier in the week
and I said, we all Ohio State. Everyone brings their
best game when they play Ohio State.
Speaker 3 (11:08):
Absolutely already with the Cross Arizona.
Speaker 1 (11:11):
And now that we're number one, really going to have
extra So everybody's going to be playing their hearts out
every week when they played the Bible.
Speaker 4 (11:17):
Well, I'm excited about saying and see what he does
tomorrow because you know that Ryan Day would definitely have
a different game plan for him and might let him.
Speaker 2 (11:24):
Loosen up a little bit.
Speaker 3 (11:25):
I hope, I hope, I hope so too.
Speaker 1 (11:27):
And then I really think it's going to be something
to witness the spectacle with regard to our defense, because
you're right, you pointed out how good they look, and
a lot of people were even saying that was really
kind of the talk this week was how good the
defense for the Buckeyes did look, and they looked they
looked mid season fom already. Yeah, and it's the first
(11:47):
game against a very good opponent.
Speaker 2 (11:50):
So right, one of the best of play other than
Penn State.
Speaker 1 (11:52):
Yeah, And as far as ranking goes and so on,
we'll see how the rest of the season shakes out.
But nobody the beautiful thing about all this, Troy, and
I think you would agree with me that the first
twelve team playoff in collegiate football history, the Buck guys
ended up winning the national championship and running through that
(12:13):
starting in Tennessee with the volunteers and coming off of
that Michigan loss still stung, but guess what, we ended
up National champs And in Will Howard, he's with my
Steelers now, I'm so happy. But what we witnessed from
our Buckeyes, you know, you hope that they've got just
sixty seventy percent of that, maybe fifty percent of that
at least getting underway here and can we do it again.
(12:35):
It's really really, really, really special what they pulled off
last year.
Speaker 4 (12:40):
It was sure fun to watch, and that Texas game
was even I mean, we'll never forget that. Yeah, yeah,
you know, everyone talks about the game when Trussell won
the national championship against Miami and Maurice and everything that happened,
you know during that game.

Very special about it as a special tists.
