Speaker 1 (00:00):
Scientists have found that eating too much dairy, in addition
to slowing you down in the in the commode and
the john in the in the in the bathroom, can
give you nightmares.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
I'll probably argue with that one.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
With the dairy, too much dairy.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
I have been a dairy, dairy, dairy guy my entire life.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
There was a strong link between lactose intolerance and nightmares.
Now here's the thing. It's like, well, eating too much dairy.
If you don't suffer from lactose intolerance, then what correlation
are we talking about here? Because I don't suffer from that.
I don't suffer from lactose intolerance. I love dairy, anything

(00:42):
dairy for the moment.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
So if you eat dairy but your lactose intolerant, it
may give you nightmares. That may make sense, But the
way that headline reads, it's like just dairy and nightmares.
There's there's no middle ground, there's no conditional riches. Dairy
means nightmares.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
Yeah. They said about a third of the students had
regular nightmares, and women were more likely to remember their
dreams and report the poor sleep. The big finding was
strong link between lactose and tolerance and nightmares. They found
this happens because people who can't digest lactose well might
get gas or stomach pain during the night, which messes

(01:22):
with their dreams. So if you're getting you know you're
having bad gut reaction, then that will affect your dreams
and give you nightmares.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
As I was coming up, and I had my two
little sisters in the house, but they aren't responsible. I was.
Dad bought a gallon of milk a day, per day,
per day. Yes, that's why we switched to two percent.
When whole milk started raising, he could get a gallon
of milk two percent milk for ninety nine cent still right,
So that's why we switched to two percent. Milk was

(01:52):
the price at a gallon a day. Whole milk started
going up and two percent became the norm in my house.
But at the gallon of milk.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
Every day, do you remember having nightmares?

Speaker 2 (02:01):
No, I wasn't a nightmare kid. Well, he also used
to buy it Kroger Coger had these these buckets, plastic
buckets of peanut butter. I think they were like two
and a half gallon buckets of peanut butter. He'd buy
one of those every Friday because I eat peanut butter
and jelly sandwich is like a madman.

Speaker 3 (02:15):
Sometimes drink dip them in milk. Yeah, yeah, I've heard
that's good. Oh yeah, see I can't. That's one thing
that I wish that I were able to do. I
cannot drink regular white milk, like a glass of it,
even with Yeah, some people go, oh, can you imagine
having that piece of cake with white milk.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
I'm like, no, I can't do it.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
A gag.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
I don't like it.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
Now, chocolate sure, strawberry sure. As far as the milk goes,
I love that, But I can't drink regular white milk.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
As a teen, I would come in from cutting the lawn,
it's all hot. I'd open the gallon of milk and
chug half the gallon of milk. That's how I quenched
my thirst. See, I wish I could do that. Man,
I just Zach can't do it either. He just puts
it in his beard or some of it in. Just
white milk goes with the mayonnaise.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
So good for you, though, I mean I feel like
it is.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
Until I was an old guy and slammed my hand
about a year ago. I have never broken a bone
in my life. I've never been to a dentist office
in my life. I consumed enough calcium to keep my
bones and teeth strong forever.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
I feel like that is definitely the connection. There no
question
