Speaker 1 (00:32):
Oh man, oh Man, Wow, wow. I uh yes, I
just went downstairs to check out Patty Wax Burgers, and
Patty Wax is a you know, Paddy Wax Burgers, and
they're a food truck and so they are providing foody

(00:55):
Friday food for us today. I just went down there.
There's starting to set up and get everything going. Holy cow,
this is going to be this is going to be epic, man,
this is going to be really good. I can just
feel it.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
My first question is where they get the name Patty Wax. Yep,
because King I've heard of Nick Knack and Patty Wack,
but never just Patty Wax standing alone like that.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
Yep, yep. That can be one of the questions, of
course for them. What I'm gonna do is coming up
at four forty right after we talked to Marshall, I'm
going to go down and I'll be live. I'll be
on my phone. You can stay up here, and of course, Zach,
I'm gonna go live down to inside the food truck,

(01:38):
inside Patty Wax and start talking to Bailey and Matt
are here with Patty Wax. Now, I will say that
the connection there is, you know, a friend of mine
who owns flower Rama. Steve and his wife Andrea there.
This is their son and his they've been doing this
for a little while. We'll get all that info from them.

(02:00):
But they use is it gosh, what is the It's
not your typical it's not just regular grease. They drop
the fries in tallow. That's it. Tallow, yes, So I'm
not even sure why that's better lard.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
It's essentially lard. It's animal proteins opposed to vegetable oil,
which is what made McDonald's fries great in the first place.
Then they changed it, right.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
So he just told me I went down there and look,
this is the coolest thing. And it looks that's the
same exact griddle. But he goes, it's well ty grade,
specialized alloy steel griddle and sures burger stay juicy while
achieving a perfect Mallard reaction. So he just showed me it.
It literally looks like a mirror, and it looks very

(02:50):
different from my blackstone, which is all you know, darker
and not mirrored. But he was he was getting ready
to explain to you down to go hang on to that,
hang on to the description, and why I said, we'll
get to all of that. But yeah, we're gonna test drive.
In an hour from now, we'll test drive Patty Wax.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
When you tell Marshall at four forty, he's going to
be upset. I guarantee you Alex is standing by right
now ready to board a plane and come here and
eat something. Because the way you're describing it is just
like mouthwatering excitement and it's it's I want it now.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
It is really cool, Alex Stone, ABC News hopefully joining us.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
Now send it down the line. You got to figure
out the technology to shoot it down the line to me.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
Oh my gosh, I will Actually, I'm gonna text you there.
I'll text you there the what the link, just so
you can look at it, because they'll have they have
pictures and stuff of their teasing me smash.

Speaker 4 (03:39):
That you're not here eating but I'm not eating it.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
Oh my gosh, you're gonna flip out.

Speaker 5 (03:44):
Man.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
Isn't the tallow the big deal that we have?

Speaker 3 (03:46):
What fast food changes switched to tallow and that's supposed
to be really really good?

Speaker 4 (03:50):
The steak and Shake uses that. Yeah, maybe they're the ones.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
Yeah that they just announced that they a couple months
ago that they were making that change, and it's supposed
to be a great change.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
I didn't realize that they were actually doing that. I didn't,
but I just sent the link to you, Alex, so
just so you can pop that open.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
I'm waiting there making a real course of effort to
return to their former greatness. Right now. They're doing franchising,
low cost franchising and changing upstaki. Yeah okay, yeah, because
I mean they they kind of, you know, fell off
a little bit, so they're trying to come back.

Speaker 4 (04:20):
Oh wait, I'm pulling it up right now. Oh.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
I like the logo where it's a hamburger bun with
like devil ears and a tongue.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
Yeah, the tongue's like sticking out like it's like it's like,
you know, drooling if you will.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
Yeah. The photo of the first one, when you scroll
down on it, that that looks that one big, messy
good burger.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Doesn't that look lovely? And that's all they do. It's
a very it's very simple. You know, Burger's housemade, golden
tallow fries, Mom's fudgie brownie, and purple flirt. I don't
know what the.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
Hell purple too much out for that. I'd go for
the fudgie brownie.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
I don't know. I'm gonna ask my wife if she
wants me to bring. I'm a purple flirt, and hopefully.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
She'll think he picked up like some migrant at the
side of the road. Don't do that.

Speaker 4 (05:07):
So, yeah, here's their grill. It looks like a mirror.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
See that. I was just downstairs and looked at it,
and it looks exactly That's interesting. I there is some
sort of science behind it. Bailey started explaining it to me,
and I go, hang on, just wait, we'll do this
on the airline.

Speaker 4 (05:23):
It's a bird reaction. Is that like a bird reaction?

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Yeah, they're using words that I'm like, Man, I'm not
very smart because I don't know what that means.

Speaker 4 (05:30):
You know, it was impossible to clean. To keep it
that shiny and clean.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
I don't know how they do it, but they do somehow,
some way. But maybe they use wind decks.

Speaker 4 (05:40):
I don't think you want to taste that. No, this
looks really good.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
Yeah, I'm I wish you were here.

Speaker 4 (05:47):
Too, Yeah, me too, trust me too.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
To partake, I really do?

Speaker 4 (05:50):
Is what I just ate for lunch here? I would
much rather be eating that.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
It's beautiful here, probably more beautiful than what it is there.
You're probably got a gorgeous day.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
Gon on seventy sunshine. No win for us right now.
So yeah, it's ane. Would you really because I mean,
would this mess with your figure? Would you really eat this? Alex?

Speaker 4 (06:09):
I God, no figure. I would definitely eat that.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
You would. Okay, so you're a burger guy, you'll consume
a burger and surprise.

Speaker 4 (06:14):
Okay, yeah, really good.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
Well, I know he's a guy, but he's also on TV.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
I mean he's a guy.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
Well, I don't know what that means.

Speaker 4 (06:23):
You could have a.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
Beer and burp around Alex.

Speaker 4 (06:25):
He's a guy, no normal night.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
I just didn't know. Like when you get to the
national level, it's a little different because you know you
will see him on Good Running America.

Speaker 4 (06:35):
Do whatever.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
Hold on a second, there's nothing in like any of
your contracts that say you're you're not allowed to get fat.
I'm just gonna say no.

Speaker 4 (06:43):
If it's in there, I haven't found it.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
Okay, because I I wondered. I think once upon a
time that was that that existed, maybe not current landscape.
I could see where they're like people would just get.

Speaker 4 (06:54):
You can attendance.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
Used to have all that in there, you know, they
could only be so high and then waste so much.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
I think that I think those days are gone now.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
Oh yeah, yeah, I think you're probably right. But let's
face it, if you are unpleasant and you're not you know,
maybe you're not as well read and you're not you're
kind of unpleasant looking or what. You're not gonna last
long on TV. I'm just gonna say it.

Speaker 4 (07:17):
You want a problem.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
Elected, though you still get elected, there's no question about that.

Speaker 4 (07:25):
But I could be well, I'm not even gonna go
there anyway, go on.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
No, I was, That's what I was saying, especially at
the at the national level. You know, it's funny when
I first started here, Alex, like, for instance, a little
bit Elizabeth Sholsey used to be on. She would come
on with us and all of that. I don't you know,
she's not part of like what you guys do with
regard to radio. But I see her on you know,
good Morning America, you know that kind of thing.

Speaker 4 (07:51):
She's wonderful.

Speaker 1 (07:52):
Yeah, oh yeah, no question about it.

Speaker 4 (07:54):
Came back from maternity. Leader was gone for a long time.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
I heard that too. No, I loved her. I thought
she was fantas. There's some of you guys that just
kind of jump out at me, you know when I
have you on. It's just she was. She was great.
And obviously you sing.

Speaker 4 (08:07):
Her right now to tell her how much you love it.

Speaker 1 (08:09):
Oh that's really nice. I don't know that she'll remember me.
She probably won't, but you will. Yeah, sure everybody remember?
Oh sure they do? Yeah they do.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
Is texting her right now about potential stalking is what
he's doing.

Speaker 1 (08:19):
Yeah, he's like, go ahead and get the charge, go
ahead and get a restraining order started.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
Try smelling like Hamburger's and tallow run.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
You know what I like is that you're talking about temporary,
which means it's not forever. So that's good. That's a
good thing for me. So your set. The glass is
half full. Absolutely. On a serious note, though, boy, this
is a a really just an awful situation that happened.
Well it is at an explosive explosives plant manufacturing plant

(08:52):
in Tennessee. What is what happened?

Speaker 4 (08:54):
Yeah, really big one. We just got an update from
the sheriff.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
But it was at Accurate Energetic Systems and m Kewan, Tennessee.
That's about fifty miles west of Nashville, and it was
seven forty five this morning, really big explosion all around
the area of people saying it took their homes and
there was debris falling in their yards. The company makes
military great explosives for the military, but also for aerospace
and demolition and mining, so this is powerful stuff and

(09:21):
this is the initial dispatch as they were sending everybody
out today, we have been at us.

Speaker 1 (09:26):
There's a gas line on fire and there's about twelve
people that are on accounted for as of right now.
Twelve people unaccounted for.

Speaker 4 (09:32):
They went in and everything was gone.

Speaker 3 (09:34):
Humphrey's County Sure, Chris Davis said a couple of minutes ago,
and he got quite emotional announcing nineteen people are missing
now and they know they're are deaths.

Speaker 5 (09:42):
So at this time we have been able to confirm
that we do have nineteen souls that we're looking for
sold excuse me, I ask you to keep in mind
those families now.

Speaker 3 (10:01):
He says, there's going to be a long operation to
understand what exploded and why. Four or five people were
injured and taken to a hospital and they're recovering right now.
But the nineteen others are missing.

Speaker 5 (10:11):
Trying to figure out and recreate or figure out what
actually happened to calls this, Do I see a short
term explanation? No?

Speaker 4 (10:24):
Do I see s.

Speaker 5 (10:24):
Ben here for many days?

Speaker 3 (10:27):
Yes, he says, the ATF and the FBI are going
to work on that, figuring out what exploded and why.
But he says it was a blast. They were in
a building, which we couldn't initially see from what came in.
It looked like that they had been out in the
field because the building was completely ripped apart and wiped away.
It looked like they were outside, But they had been
in a building, and he was asked about that building.

Speaker 5 (10:45):
Can I describe the building? There's nothing to describe.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
It's gone. It's again.

Speaker 5 (10:51):
It's the most devastating scene that I've seen.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
In my career.

Speaker 3 (10:56):
I neighver say that there have been explosions before the plant,
but nothing like this. But right now they don't seem
to really understand what it was or what they were
doing in the building, other than that they manufacture explosives there,
so you can guess, you know, something went wrong with that,
But they're going to try to understand it.

Speaker 4 (11:11):
He says, a scene is secure.

Speaker 3 (11:12):
Even an hour ago, they were saying that they wanted
everybody in the area to remain indoors, not knowing that
there'd be more explosions. He says, they're not worried about
that any longer, but right now they just don't have
many answers.

Speaker 4 (11:23):
And nineteen people are missing.

Speaker 1 (11:25):
Yeah, this is well, you can hear it as the
sheriffs they are getting emotional and so on. And I
don't know where that is.

Speaker 3 (11:34):
Yeah, about fifty miles outside just west of Nashville.

Speaker 1 (11:37):
Okay, so relatively small community. Most likely those people were
probably all friends with the people that are missing.

Speaker 5 (11:43):
Man.

Speaker 3 (11:44):
Yeah, this explosives plant has been around forever, and you know,
like we say, neighbors say, yeah, there'd be little explosions
here and there where something would go boom, but nothing
ever like this.

Speaker 1 (11:53):
Well it's an explosive manufacturing plan. I would imagine you're
going to yeah, yeah, and.

Speaker 3 (11:57):
There's always that chance that something's going to go wrong
being you know, fireworks, storage area or anything like that.

Speaker 1 (12:04):
Yeah, okay, Yeah, thank you for the latest on this.
Alex Stone, ABC News out of Los Angeles. Alex, thank
you have a great.

Speaker 2 (12:12):
Man.

Speaker 1 (12:13):
Thank you, Thank you seea how about uh, Jimmy Kimmel
extending an olive branch inviting President Trump to appear on
his show. He sat down with Bloomberg Radio. He had
an interview talking about, you know, the suspension, the reinstating
and so on, and you know what's next for the
show he was talking about. He was asked if he

(12:35):
would have Brendan Carr, the FCC chairman, or President Donald
Trump on at any point in the future, and Kimmel said,
I wouldn't necessarily be interested in Brendan Carr on the show,
but yeah, I'd love to have Trump on the show
for sure. And you know it's as we know, Trump
is a ratings jug er, not anything that he does.

(12:59):
If he was going to be on there, Jimmy probably
would have the largest audience tuning in, maybe rivaling when
he first started or in his heyday, if you will.
I don't know that President Trump would agree to this,
but you know, Zach and I were talking about this earlier,
Chuck and I said, he's the cut. It would be
really cool if Trump went on there, and he's got

(13:21):
that we feel like and I've never met him, but
I've had him on the air before. But I feel
like he's got that thing, that it factor, that intangible charisma,
that thing people talk about, the charm that he has
when you talk to him and when you meet him.
And what would be cool is I mean, we watched
Bill Maher doing about face. Now. Bill Maher is not

(13:42):
conservative by any stretch, but he's reasonable. I feel like
he's way more reasonable now than he was. And that
would be post going and having a dinner with him
with Trump. I feel like Bill Maher is more center
or more reasonable now, And so wouldn't it be a
if Jimmy Kimmel kind of went that direction? And look,

(14:04):
this is in a perfect world for me the way
that I'm envisioning this, And am I against it? No,
I'm not against Trump going on. And look, I feel
like that's the that would be. That's like the GOP
or the conservative way we talk all the time about.
Man Dems do not want to have a conversation. They

(14:25):
don't want to talk about anything. It's my way or
the highway. And if you don't agree with me, I'm
gonna I'm canceling you. I want to kill your family,
I want to kill you. All of that. And we
are so not like that. We'll have the conversation with somebody,
and so I feel like President Trump might actually even
contemplate it.

Speaker 2 (14:43):
I think you're giving him too much credit. Kimble, Yes,
I don't think it's an Ola Branch. I think it's
just directions to the trap door.

Speaker 1 (14:50):
I was reading the headline, so.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
Yeah, I would not I would not want to see
Donald Trump go there. Now you mentioned Bill Maher that
I could handle that. I think Donald Trump sitting down
with Bill Maher would be a very conversation. Yeah, even Colbert,
as long as you take an entourage with you, because
Stephen Colbert is his indignation is largely fake, as is

(15:14):
his name and everything else about him. And I think
a head to head with Donald Trump, he would he
would end up folding. That would be great. Kimmel, I
think has a much like Rosie o'donald, such an inner
hatred for Donald Trump that everything that happened from the
time he got there to the time he left would
be a setup of some sort.

Speaker 1 (15:35):
See, I don't know that. The reason that I feel
like we're going to go back to the Man Show
is it what is it called the Mancha? It was
the Man Show, The Manchow, we're going back there. I
feel like at his root, at his core, that's really
who Jimmy Kimmel is and Adam Carolla is a conservative. Yeah,
and I feel like, how much of this is what

(15:56):
he's doing now? And I'm talking about Kimmel is his base,
it's you know, and he's got a ton of Hollywood
elites around him that are friends of his and so on.
I'm not saying that he's secretly a conservative. I'm just
saying I feel like I don't know that it's all
of what you see there, And again that's my gut,
my own opinion on it and so on. But we'll see.

(16:18):
I don't know that it would even happen. I think
it would be great if he would go on there,
but again I don't know. I am I too close
to the situation to go. Yeah, Kimmel doesn't garner Trump's
appearance because he's not special enough. And by that I
mean Trump or Kimmel. Is he not special enough? I
don't know.

Speaker 2 (16:38):
He'd have had better ratings on that night than he
has ever had since signing on the air.

Speaker 1 (16:42):
I think so.

Speaker 2 (16:44):
I think so about Rogan because you know, Joe Rogan
does not pull punches. He and Donald trumb they might
be a knock down drag out at some points during
the conversation, but I think that would be extremely interesting.

Speaker 1 (16:55):
I think Rogan's more more conservative at least it's a centrist,
if you will, so I think he would do. I
think Trump would do fine on there. I really do
you got you got these these uh these A types,
these personality A types. But they're both very smart, so
I think it would be It would be very very interesting,
no question. Traffic and weather together powered by day and
