Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is where like right now, I need some sort
of a like effect on my voice to make it
like echo, to be like Sharman's giant Forever roll in
Forever roll. Yeah, the Forever roll. Are you familiar with this?

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Not with the Forever roll.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
No, this is a real thing. It has been introduced.
It is a giant forever roll. Sharman is introduced. They're
boasting that this will last a month.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
They haven't met my family.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
One roll of toilet paper two and a half weeks,
just me for just you alone. Good lord man, you're
using it just for that right bathroom like anyway, don't answer.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
That he squeezes it.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
I know that much as a seventeen hundred sheet toilet
paper roll. The company is claiming big enough to last
an entire month, and tall enough, if unspooled, to rival
the Washington Monument.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
And how is it going to fit on your spool
in the back.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
I'm glad you asked. I am glad you asked. It
comes with a special stand, Chuck. As a matter of fact,
you can. It's a starter pack on Amazon right now.
You can get this and it gets you too, forever
rolls and a special stand and it contains thirty two
times the number of sheets found on a standard roll.

(01:30):
We know, changing the role all the time is the
big pain in the butt is what they go on
to say, Procter and gambled it, and I'm saying to myself,
I'm like, no, you know, it's a bigger pain is
in that situation the one runs out and you don't
realize it until you look over and you're like, oh no,
and there's nothing within reach. Man, oh man, I.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Suddenly hate everybody in this house.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
The stand would have to do you get your own
contractor to install it, because that's gonna have to be
huge to get everything in there. No, no, no, that will
just sit on the floor next to.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Oh it's one of those pedestal type thing.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeahstic right. And they also talk
about how it's it's a role that works harder so
you don't have to and then they say it's a
great conversation starter too, on top of everything else.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
Really is I mean, you're going to be there while
the you know, the guest is, oh look look what
I this is? This is love it. Yes, I just
had that installed. I like the wallpaper in here too.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
Congressman Congressman Jim Jordan is joining us now, who's giggling
and laughing because it is kind of a funny visual.
This is a real thing, though, Congressman, seriously.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
Well, I'm still suck on the great conversation starter because
what you have guests and friends show up at. That's
your restroom. It's I mean the bathroom. I don't I
don't get that one either. Yeah, I guess to amaze
me what you guys are talking about that. Come on,
it is five oh seven.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
Every month, you know what. And I I'll be honest,
I was scanning. I scan each Monday and go, I
gotta fight. And I've even had stuff that's come across
my desk and it's I don't know, Wednesday or something.
I'm like, I gotta hold onto that till win. Congressman's
on so I can bring that up. This This is
one of those things though, that just surfaced today and
I was cracking up. I go, you know, everybody can

(03:20):
relate to uh, toilet paper running out or something like this.
That would be a conversation started there. You come out
of the bathroom at a friend's house and you go, hey,
what gives with the enormous roll of toilet paper you
have in there that looks like it's gonna last intil spring.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
And I can handle if one of my buddies came
out of the bath good, what the hell was it? Okay,
I'm good with that, But if somebody comes out wants
to compliment me, you know, I've just never experienced any
We can no longer we're doing well.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
They word also has it that that might last They
say about a day and a half and Jerry Nadler's bathroom.
But other than he or maybe Pritzker, I'm not sure
one of those.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
One of the.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Car, right, And if you have that delivered by Amazon,
there's got to be a delivery fee because that thing
is enormous. I wonder how much it weighs. I mean,
it's you can't put that, it's pretty crazy. No, you
can't put it in a little teeny car. No, you
need a truck, I think to haul that thing. Man. So, yeah,
congressman's going really is this what I came on to

(04:26):
talk about? What you guys are talking about? So anyway,
so yeah, I'm sure everywhere you go, Congressman, and you
you do travel a lot. Tell me how much of
the Schumer shutdown conversation is is uh infiltrating your conversations
when you're out in public. Are people constantly asking you
about this?

Speaker 2 (04:46):
Not?

Speaker 3 (04:46):
Not really, I mean not as far as concern. I've
had more people, you know, come up to me and say,
don't don't give into the Democrats. Uh uh you know
stands firm.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (04:56):
It comes up now because what it's been what you know, uh,
you know, for three and a half weeks, almost four weeks,
So it comes up a little bit now. But it
hasn't been concern. And frankly, so many of the papers
I remember of the flying home from DC last week,
I think and I had the Wall Street Journal and
I was you know, I had the paper copy, the
hard copy, and I was looking. There was nothing on

(05:17):
the frontage about the shutdown. So I think a lot
of people are are just like going on with their
their daily lives, doing their work, doing their things. Now,
if you're a federal employee, you're not you're not going
to get a paycheck. Of course, that's a different story.
But this all comes back to Chuck Schumer will not
vote for the very thing he supported six months ago.
And it's all because of the hard left in his party,

(05:39):
and I think everyone understands that.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
And then also too, you know, King Jeffries is flapping
his gums every day or as people are calling him
dollar store Obama, you know, on there, like flapping his
gums every day about this and saying, you know, Speaker
Johnson needs to get the house back, and it's like, well,
they already did their part. It's so crazy to me
how it's just go in a circle. It's like a

(06:01):
dog chase in its tail with regard to their talking point. Yeah,
they're saying a lot all this useless stuff, Congressman that
I am getting so sick and tired. I think America
by and large is understanding really what's going on here. Now,
you're gonna have people that are going to complain and
say the things that they're saying, but they're just Trump
haters to start with, so they're just gonna run with

(06:21):
those Democrat talking points. But if you're gonna sit and
listen to what some of those people are actually saying,
you just say, there's zero merit connected to anything that
they're talking about.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
Yeah, I just I've yet to figure out why they
did what they did. And now there seems to me
they're going to stick to at least through next Tuesday's election,
maybe maybe longer. I just don't know. And again it
makes it just makes no sense. I think to most
people who who who look at this and say, like,

(06:52):
you won't vote, I always said, like Chuck Schumer is
having a debate with Tuck. Schumer's having a debate with himself,
like what, you can't do what you did before, but
now you to shut the entire government down. And I
do think Americans will get concerned if in fact there's
an impact with air traffic controllers. Uh, if in fact
President Trump is not able to do what he did
already and make sure our troops got paid and they're

(07:12):
in the mid months paycheck. So we'll just have to see.
But let's hope that a few more senators three have
already voted with the Republicans on this on the Senate side,
if they get a few more who will do that,
that we can actually pass this and get the government back.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
Holden, They're they're base largely being unemployed, underemployed. Poor people
in this country who believe that their saviors are within
the Democrat Party are going to feel at this weekend,
and I hope that this weekend there is some really
targeted response. Congressman, this, this is this is the time
to get that message out. There are no food stamps today.

(07:46):
We don't want American children to be hungry. Chuck Schumer,
where are you?

Speaker 3 (07:51):
Yeah? I think I think I think you're right, and
I think, uh, I think that that's something that you
will see if it goes through this weekend. Uh, you'll
you'll you'll see people more, more people talking about that,
more and more of people concerned because it's going to
have a real, real impact.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
So did you also see is it? Is it legit?

Speaker 2 (08:07):
That?

Speaker 1 (08:07):
And I don't know how much you're following, probably maybe
at a little bit of a distance, but keeping an
eye on it. Is Cuomo cutting into Mom Donnie's lead
there for for mayor in New York City?

Speaker 3 (08:16):
Okay, I don't know, but it seems like, of course
you can, if you can buy into the conventional wisdom
and the polling, it sure seems like Mom Donnie's gonna win.
And that again, I think, just underscores that the left has,
uh you know, a grip on the party, on the
Democrat Party, and the hard left is the energy in

(08:37):
that party and they're they're driving the show. And I
think this is all part of this phenomenon. I mean,
it's there's there's talk that Hakeem Jefferies is going to
get a primary. There's talk today OC's going to a primary.
In two years, he's going to primary Senator Shumer. But
I think this is a concern. And you see that
manifest and this mom Donny guy who's a socialist, it
says it himself. That's the hard left that now, unfortunately

(08:58):
is the energy and the Democrat Party, and I think
control of the party market.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
I was just talking about it off the air a
little while ago. A New York Post about three hours
ago ran with a story that says polling is now
showing that Cuomo has cut the lead in half, which
I think that's a wonderful thing. And you know, I
still have confidence in the people of New York City.
This is the heart of September eleventh. This is the
I Whatever these people are saying on the phones to

(09:24):
posters and so forth, I think is Limball's Operation Chaos.
I just I my heart, my gut tells me that
come election Day, they're not going to get stupid they're
going to vote in a way that makes sense.

Speaker 3 (09:38):
Let's hope so, and you know that's I always say
that the Pole accounts is the one that happened in
the election day. So we got all the all the
the problem ostgaters saying, you know, what they think is
going to happen. But we'll know here in a day.
So let's hope that's the case. Let's hope that are
you know, are great city, our biggest city, our greatest city,
New York is not not going to not going to
be run by socialists.

Speaker 1 (09:59):
Yeah, it's in It also crazy that we're all kind
of cheering on Cuomo. Yes, is.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Speaker 1 (10:08):
I just was thinking that too, and I was thinking
of myself. I'm wonderful Congressman think of this too, because
like you know, people are like, hey, Cuomo's cutting into
his lead, all right, you know, It's like and then
you go, wait a minute, that guy, I guess it's
a lesser of two evil Zeria.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
Think about fifteen minutes of monob before people going, you know,
I wonder if ed Kotch is available again?

Speaker 3 (10:29):
Yeah, yeah, Yeahmo that it's a conservative government we want
it from Yeah, go figure and.

Speaker 1 (10:36):
Then AOC over the weekend. I don't know if you
saw any of that footage too. What is it like
she's like bouncing up and down while she's talking. She's streaming. No, no,
I'm not talking about that chuck. No, no, no, I
mean literally like her whole, Like while she's talking, it's
like her whole. I don't even understand what's behind that.

Speaker 2 (10:57):
And then I chance she'll be running mate.

Speaker 1 (11:00):
That's why. Well, I was trying to listen to what
she was even saying, and her voice is nails on
a chalk more, especially when she starts screaming. All I
can hear her when she starts screaming is its last call.
That's the thing that I keep kind of associating with her,
going back to her bartending days. It seems like, you know, mom,
Donnie is like, you know, we're gonna freeze the rant
and build housing for everybody who needs it. We're gonna

(11:22):
eliminate the fair on every single bus line. We're gonna
create universal childcare at no cost. Oh really, well wait
a minute, who is someone's got to pay for all
of this?

Speaker 3 (11:33):
Yeah, gottay, and yeah, the Left is gonna they're gonna
you know, the goose that lays the golden egg, which
is free market, capitalist system we have or people have
an idea, go out and work hard, make things happen,
create jobs, create opportunity. The left with their their the
hard left, and what they believe is gonna unfortunate ruin that.
That's why, that's why we can't hopefully let the mom

(11:54):
hopefully they're not gonna win any more than this is
New York race.

Speaker 1 (11:57):
One last thing here, too, Congressman, is I love how
mainstream media is like the President's destroyed, the East Wing
is being destroyed, and he's trying to keep it hidden.
Yet yet there's like there's literal footage like that they're
releasing of all of this. I just keep saying, you know,
the absence is self awareness with the mainstream media is

(12:20):
I mean, at an all time off the charts, all
of that and this fake outrage that's going along with
all this. I don't know where you come down on it,
but see it makes perfect sense to me. They're like,
no more tents on the lawn, Like let's let's get something.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
We are.

Speaker 1 (12:35):
We are the United States. This is this is the
you know, the White House let's have a nice place
where we can have dignitaries and everybody else. It makes
complete total sense. And then you when they put it
that way, you think, how did it take this LNG right? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (12:51):
Yeah, Well, and let's remember this isn't the first president
who's renovated and done something to the White House. For
goodness sake. This has happened time and time again throughout
our three and President Trump, I think, is making a
great decision saying, you know, it would be nice to
have a slightly larger place to entertain foreign dignitaries and
for the kind of things that happen at at our
at our president at the White House. So yeah, the

(13:13):
left's reaction is typical left. The Trump's arrangement syndrome is
a real phenomena, and that coupled with the hard left
that is that is what's driving so much of what.

Speaker 1 (13:22):
We've been talking about.

Speaker 3 (13:24):
But I think the American people have common sense and
they see through it all.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
I love that they're gonna name it the Monica Lewinsky Ballroom.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
I think that is so no entry without blue dress.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
Oh lordie, he is President Trump, you know, Gutfeld, I
don't know if you watched that at all, Congressman. But
Gutfeld has this thing called One of the segments he
does is called we don't deserve him, and we're talking
about President Trump. It really don't when it comes to that.
I saw that about. I did a spit take. I
was taking to drink when I was reading that, and

(13:57):
holy cow, he is the master. It is unbelievable to me. Man,
Congressman Jim Jordan, thank you very much for jumping on
with us. Thanks, we'll see you.

Speaker 2 (14:09):
Know, when Barack Obama was in office, President Trump contacted
his people about building a ballroom for him. Then really
he said, it was disgusting that we are entertaining foreign
dignitaries under tents on the lawn. That's it, and that
he was He said, I built beautiful ballrooms. I would
like to build a ballroom for America, for the president.

(14:29):
And so it's not like something he's doing for himself.
It's something that he's wanted to do for a long time.

Speaker 1 (14:35):
It's probably similar layout to mar A Lago. I mean,
he has a beautiful set up there, ballroom type area.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
People do weddings and stuff there, and this one they
say will accommodate nine hundred and ninety nine people. I'm like,
we can't do five more square feet and get a
thousand thousand people in there.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
Really, well, maybe I think they can get it figured out.
