Speaker 1 (00:00):
Oh my gosh. I can't believe it's happening.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Me either.

Speaker 1 (00:03):
I can't believe Hines Hines and Smoothie King are getting together. Yes,
Heines the Ketchup Mustard Company. But this is just ketchup.
This is the first ever Ketchup smoothie.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
This is wrong.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
I was like, I like smoothies, I think, and then
I like ketchup, you know, depending But I don't know
about a ketchup smoothie. Oh I don't.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
I saw this earlier on Facebook, and I thought, this
is a joke, This is a this is satire, this
is Babylon B. This can't be ketchup smoothie. Is just
a wrong concept.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
After months of meticulous testing and tasting, we landed a
savory sweet blend that celebrates the tomato and all its
glory was part of the part of the verbiage here,
Heinz simply, ketchup is in this smoothie that does not
contain artificial sweeteners or corns or corn syrup. And there's
a blend of asae sorbet, apple juice, strawberries and raspberries.

(01:04):
And they describe the new smoothie as sweet and fruity
with a tangy ketchup finish.

Speaker 3 (01:12):
Mmm.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
Here's the thing. If you're licking your lips right now,
going yes, I'm going over to smoothie ging it's only
in five markets.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
If you're licking your lips right now thinking you're going
to get one of those, seriously, just turn off your radio.
Do not listen to anything I ever say from now on,
because you're not.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
My kind of people. Congressman Jim Jordan's joining us, now,
did you miss us?

Speaker 3 (01:31):
Congressman man? This is this is something. Every time, it's something.
But I mean, who would have thought to catch a
smoothie was going to lead the five o'clock hour. I mean,
catch a smoothie mustard smoothie you know catsup been mustard
or made for brush. It's like I had one yesterday
that they just told It just doesn't fit with this
smoothie in my mind, but who knows. Maybe it's good.

(01:53):
We'll have to we'll have to wait.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
Well, when I when I see asaye sorbet apple juice, strawberries, raspberry,
I go oh man. First of all, thank you to
my daughter who taught me how to pronounce that, because
when I look at it, it's a C a I
and I would have said, a kai is exactly, but
she calls it a s I E. And I think
that's idea. But Atlanta, it sounds sophisticated, almost sounds like

(02:20):
would have said to Daniel. Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Miami, and
Greater New York and Northern New Jersey areas are the
only places you can get this. So yeah, not nobody
in Ohio is going to get one unless you're traveling.

Speaker 3 (02:38):
I guess, yeah, I don't know that Ohioans are going
to miss it. I really don't.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
You know, if it takes off though, and they can't
keep them in stock or they run out of what
I could see where they go. All right, let's branch
out a little bit here. They're always about, you know, right.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
It's a big if. It sounds to me. Its like
a big if to me, But who knows, you know.
I like smoothies, but I just I just can't see
the we.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Talked about them before this was Telemark. I've never had
a smoothie. I liked strawberry, but they all taste like
a cupful of flavored gravel to me.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
No kidding, I don't goodies are good. Yes, smoothies are good,
but I just can't see the.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
Yeah, that's a it's an interesting Would you try it
if somebody had it and you say you don't even,
You're not even You wouldn't even be like, let me
take a sip of that? No, no, okay, would okay? Interesting?

Speaker 3 (03:30):
The mayonnaise one. I wouldn't try the mustard one either.
They have I don't know if they have.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
They don't have a mayonnaise mayonnaise smoothie. But that's an
interesting concept. I'm sure it's it's gonna happen now, mos likely.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
Yeah, I told you a long time ago. I quit
buying the Hines ketch it but to the del Monte
because of the Teresa Hines carry.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Yeah, there's a lot of people I think you probably
conservative nature are like, no, I'm not supporting them anymore.
You know kind of a thing that right.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
It's my dollar eighty nine exactly.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
Who was so much smarter, so much smarter than the
rest of us. Whenever he talked to me, he felt like,
you know, he was talking like you were in second grade.
He was trying to like get talking talking to you
that way, and I'm like, I'm just a country boy.
But you don't have to talk to me that I
never never did really care.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
For that mouv or my family owns. I don't know,
shuv like kind of more on do you think we are?

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Yeah, and you're flying around in a private jet. Stop
preaching to us about you know, global warming. Knock it
off with that. Yeah, yeah, that kind of thing. The
uh and real quick too. You excited? Can you believe it?
Preseasons here, NFL's here. I know you're a sports guy,
so I just wanted to throw that out there. I
know you like the Bengals, you like the Browns, you
know you celebrate the Ohio teams. But it's finally back tonight, Congressman.

(04:43):
But I'm not not trying to I don't want to
wish the summer away. But I'm excited, you know, in
NFL football.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
Yeah, this time of year. I actually started getting little
more excited for college football this time of year and
preseason I don't really care, but you know, I'll watch
a few NFL games. But the big game, of course,
is coming here. What three weeks from saturday? The heg
got Texas. So that's the game.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
That's huge, huge, That is number one, number two, yeah, baby,
and it's Uh, it's gonna be man, it's gonna be good.
You're right, it's gonna be really good. People are complaining
though it's at noon. You know, you got the people
doing that, But I like the noon. I don't care
quite frankly, I'll be honest, but none is good with me.
I'd rather just I can't wait. I hate when I
have to wait all day and it's a game I

(05:25):
really want to see. I'd like I'm good with Nune,
you know.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
So, yeah, of course you just want to see the game.
Right and uh, you know, nuone'll be a little hot,
but uh, some of the buck guys will be in
shape and ready to play, right, hopefully put it on.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
Texas, right, Hey, so we have you know, we always
have Fox News on while we're on here in the
studio and a little bit ago and I'm sure you
may have seen it or maybe you have it, but
you know, Chuck brings it up as we're getting ready
to go on with you. But the you know, President
Trump is he has the basically it's like the what
it's like the list or was it.

Speaker 4 (05:57):
A like a brass tacks? It looked like the potch
Ross pro was using to show America. Just how much
trouble we were in a long time ago, what that is,
and now Trump's doing it today, yellow tight, look good,
beautiful man.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
I gotn't understand it, but it did sound like Ross Paro.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
Yeah, so he's going. I guess he's he's like going
back to old school, like laying it out for people.
But I once again, I still marvel at this. And
as somebody like you who you know you go go,
go go as well, you've got to be kind of
in all watching this president. The things he's gotten done
since January twentieth is astounding. What he is getting done,

(06:38):
and he's at every turn all of this Epstein crap
that the left now has resorted to just lies, lies,
lies because they know that there's nothing there on President Trump.
Because if it were there, the left would have launched that.
He never would have gotten into office.

Speaker 4 (06:56):
You know.

Speaker 3 (06:56):
Of course, of course if there's something there, they would
use it, they would use it campaign. But you're right.
I think we've talked before what I like about the president.
He thinks totally like an athlete. He hates losing, and
he's gotten office and he has won on every single issue.
You know, the border is now secure. He said, NATO
needs to put any up more money for defense. The

(07:16):
NATO countries have done that. He said, Iran can't get
a nuclear weapon. Our military and Israel of course helped
make that, make that happen. I mean, you can just
go issue. He said, We're going to get rid of
this boys and girls' sports is executive order there. What
you're seeing change is happening with UNC double and everything else.
I mean every single issue, and it even the tariffs.
You see the revenue coming into the treasury now is up.

(07:39):
So yeah, he's a guy who does what he says.
And I always say, that's that's what this job is about.
What did you tell the voters you were going to
do if you get fortunate enough to win, if you're elected,
go do what you said. And President self does it
better than anyone.

Speaker 1 (07:53):
Can we get a new FED reserve? Can we get
a new FED chair please? I mean, oh my gosh.

Speaker 3 (07:59):
Coming, that is definitely coming. I mean, we gotta wait
till May, unless he happened to step down early. But
I think in May his term is up, and I think.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
I think the pressure removes him before May. I really
think so. I don't know, and every other indicator shows
that we ought to be seeing at least a half
point down.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
He's going to look into his eyes though, and he
looks like a guy congressman that is like just he's
digging in. He's like, Nope, I'm not going. You're gonna
have to throw me out. And I think something egregious
kind of has to. I was reading a little bit
about it, but I was like, oh man, this guy's
gotta go.

Speaker 2 (08:34):
He's got those Adam Schiff obsessionize. He really is scary
and kind of creepy. Yeah, Christy Gnome is being very
visible and very vocal when it comes to the immigration situation,
which I love that. I also noticed Tom Holman has
been kind of invisible. Is that an intentional thing that
we're not seeing as much of him? Is she a

(08:55):
better image?

Speaker 3 (08:57):
Yeah? I don't. I don't think it's intentional. I think
they're both do a great job. I don't know that
there's anything intentional there. Tom's busy working hard and Christy's
doing the same. Or Secretary nom I should say he's
doing the same sooth. Both good people, both conservative, both
again executing what President Trump told the voters he was
going to do. And they just just got to keep

(09:18):
it up. But I mean it's amazing that literally the
border in seven months is now completely secure. You've seen
the numbers down there that is next to no one
who is now coming across the border illegally. So just
shows you what leadership and willing to do the right thing,
what a difference that can make.

Speaker 1 (09:35):
This has got to be maddening for you too, Congressman.
Finally here kind of wrapping up, but this has to
be maddening for you watching you know, Akeem, Jeffries and
all of these people. They've gotten crazier on the left,
which I didn't even think was possible. They've gotten crazier.
Like watching these people and the stuff that they're saying,
it's just flat lies about like just go around what

(09:58):
all of the different things that yeah, President Trump's do it.
And you know, one thing that right off the top
of my head was when he got in touch with
Coca Cola and said, you know, the cane sugar situation.
And then literally like the next day, there were mainstream
media is putting out these articles of you know, people
that are supposedly you know, the professionals or the what

(10:20):
do you call it, the experts in that and saying
cane sugar is really not better for you at all.
I mean, it was like, I go, it doesn't matter
what he does, they're going to come right behind him
and put somebody out there going Nope, it's it's incorrect
what he's saying.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
It's unbelievable. Yeah, there the Trumps arrangement syndrome. That that
is a real phenomenon. That is that is people just
like and it seems like of course everyone on the
left has it. But yeah, the president can say the
sky is blue and they'd argue with him and no, no, no,
it's it's great some days and you know this and
that and the other and sometimes there's a rainbow and that.

(10:56):
That's how they would talk. It's like they're always going
to take the opposite because dition and and they're they're
they're truly like even this redistrictive issue Massachusetts, forty percent
of the state votes Republicans. They have zero zero Republican
members of Congress. But somehow, oh, if Republicans are going

(11:16):
to draw lines in a way that that's you know,
I always say, you can't take politics out of politics
in a way that advantages them because they're the party
in control and effort of respect the state. Somehow that's terrible. Well,
Massachusetts did it, California did it, all these other blue
states have done it. And yet when when Republicans do it, oh,
that's a threat to democracy. So it's it's just today's

(11:37):
left that you can go every single issue and they're
just out to get Trump and they take the radical,
the most radical positions.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
It's the tradition of democracy. It's been done by both
parties since our founding. This is part of being in power,
is having the the authority and the right to draw
live redistricting is this is part of our per When
your party gets in control one day, hopefully when I'm dead,
gone in turn to dust, then you get to do it.
But for right now, yeah, we've got the ball, guys,

(12:04):
this is ours.

Speaker 3 (12:06):
Yeah. And by the way, the way our state does it,
we do it right because in Ohio, the way it
works is you have to win statewide office. So if
you win three the keys three offices Auditor, Secretary of state,
and governor, you win two of the three, you draw
the lines. Those three individual they draw the lines for
a state house, state Senate, and then state House State Senate,
whoever has the majority, draws the lines for Congress. So

(12:28):
in the end, this is about the people, all the
people in the state of Ohio, through the individuals they
elect to those three state wide offices that determine the
district lines for state House, state Senate, and the United
States Congress. That is the best way to do it,
because in the end, we the people should decide of
this state, and we have most of the states don't
do it our way. I think the method in Ohio

(12:50):
is by far the best because ultimately the power resides
with the people in state wide elections.

Speaker 1 (12:55):
Yep. Absolutely, Congressmen, let me know if you try the
ketchup smoothie, I'd like to hear count taste.

Speaker 3 (13:01):
Yeah, all right, see you man, appreciate it.

Speaker 2 (13:05):
All right, thank you, said the negatives. I remember Limba
when he was still with us during the first Trump
administration was folks, let me tell you, Donald Trump could
step off of a cruise ship and walk across the ocean,
and the next day the New York Times headline would
read Trump can't swim. That's it man, And he was
exactly right. There's no way to win with these people.
