Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wow, wow, Wow, stand by Congressman Jim Jordan should be
calling any second. Excuse me. Like I said, it's live radio.
So and he's kind of busy. He's got a couple
other things going on besides jumping on the air with me.
So there it is. What is he doing? Nothing? He
(00:24):
needs to call in, Congressman, let's go now, I'm just kidding,
he'll uh, he'll call us here in a second, Zach
Attack joining me. Chuck is off today and the reason
he was off is he was in Cleveland. And uh,
we'll have an in depth conversation about it tomorrow and
you know he'll be back to normal, back on the
air at three and uh oh there it is. Uh there,
(00:47):
there's congressman now. But I will tell you he was
in Cleveland. Chuck was in Cleveland because he is part
of a you know, he's going to be endorsing a
new client and the client is Van Skoy and yes,
that's the hair people Van Scoy. So he went up
(01:09):
to get the procedure because as you know, when we
endorse products, we are also utilizing said products and we
know all about them and so on, so that way
we can let you know how good they are. I
am absolutely blown away. Chuck just showed up and he
(01:30):
just got back, and that's why he had the day off.
But he's got some other stuff he's going to use
the day off. Zach, I am almost speechless. I've known
Chuck my entire radio I've known Chuck thirty six ish years,
thirty seven years something like that. He and I started
in radio at the same time. He did have hair,
(01:51):
once upon a time it has fallen out and he now.
I cannot get over how good this looks on him
and how young he looks.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
He looks so much younger, Like not Joe. You know
me well enough to know that the people that I
know I will blast and make fun of because that's
my sense of humor.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
Right, you're a smart ass.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
I was waiting for it when he came in.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
Yeah, he came in.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
I was like, oh, oh, I couldn't tell where it
went on and is natural what it looks? Really, he
looks so much younger.
Speaker 1 (02:27):
I can't I can't get over. I can't get over it.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
Away Chuck smiles quite a bit, but he was radiant
today when he came in. When he was leaving there, Yeah,
that's amazing.
Speaker 1 (02:41):
Congressman Jim Jordan's joining us now, and I know he's laughing.
Speaker 3 (02:46):
Did I just hear Dak say another guy was radiant?
I don't know if you're supposed to say.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
That, Congressman.
Speaker 3 (02:53):
I have to I am.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
I am iron deficient and I'm not lying. I have
to take prenatal itamins.
Speaker 1 (03:01):
Yeah, true story. It's completely changing, and you know it.
Shut up, you stop being silly. Yeah, no, he's he's
being honest, Congressman. He does have to take That was
part of a thing we talked about. Has it been
like a week two weeks ago you were talking about
he does have an iron deficiency and he can't take
(03:21):
regular iron pills. They tear him up, so his GI
is all messed up. So he's like, they're they put
me on pre natal So now he's trying to blame
it on that, which he's uh. He's making fun of
himself too, by the way, so it's okay to laugh.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
But the only constant thing about doing your show is
there's always something strange that we talk about at the
front end of the con every single time.
Speaker 1 (03:45):
And you know, when Russell told me, your guy told
me today is like, yeah, Congressman's gonna call a little
bit later. Is that okay? And I'm like yeah, and
I go he's trying to dodge talking about something weird
before he starts with me. I go, ain't gonna happen.
I'm gonna make sure. Hey, so Chuck is bald. I mean,
he's got the horseshoe thing going and he's but listen
(04:08):
he so he just picked up so Van Skoy. He's
doing an endorsement for them. He was in Cleveland and
I don't know how much of that you just heard
while you were on hold. Yeah, he had hair installed
and it looks fantastic. I can't get over he looks younger.
I was like, wow, this is crazy.
Speaker 3 (04:25):
So he looks younger and it looks good, but it
doesn't not radiant, Is that right?
Speaker 1 (04:30):
Well, Zach said Radiant. I you know what, I don't know.
Can I go with yeah? You know what I'll go with? Radiant?
I think, oh, hey, So I asked him, and he's
he got married in the last couple of years. This
is his second wedding or second wife. And so I said, hey,
as the queen. He calls her the queen, I said,
as the queen senior hair yet, did you sit because
(04:52):
he just got back from Cleveland where I'll have this
done today and he said, no, she has it, And
I said, oh, buddy, Uh, she's going to be She's
going to be very happy when you get home, I
promise you, because he looks younger. And it's crazy, Congressman,
it's crazy. You know. The thing is too if you're
a TV person and you have this done, it it
(05:13):
would be pretty shocking. But there is somewhat anonymity. I mean,
you do have social media, is that he does a
lot of videos and stuff on his social media. But
I you know, I think people are gonna be blown
away at like how good it looks. I was, I
gotta be honest, but I've never most people who have
like hair stuff done, usually it looks unnatural, looks goofy. Mostly,
(05:35):
I'm just gonna say it, but this does not. This
looks really really good. Man.
Speaker 3 (05:39):
Hey, yeah, well I'm happy for him. I'm happy for you.
Speaker 1 (05:42):
Yeah yeah, and you're going, Okay, there's a first. I've
never come on to a show and start talking about
somebody getting hair installed. So interesting. Hey, so I was
just doing this like literally a half an hour ago.
On the show, I played some of the sound from
Face the Nation over the weekend where Pritzker, you know,
the stuff that he was talking about. And you know,
(06:03):
I guess the biggest why is it that? And I
saw you tweeting about it too. These governors and these mayors,
they try to they try to act tough to President Trump.
Meanwhile their citizens are you know, over the weekend, what
did I see? Fifty seven people shot in Chicago, eight
people killed, I believe something like that, and that Mayor
(06:25):
Brandon Johnson is on stage yesterday going no troops, no
troop And I'm like, why do these people not want you?
They are people to be safe. Congressman, this is the
silliest thing how they always go against If Trump's for oxygen,
they're all holding their breath kind of thing. It's so silly.
Speaker 3 (06:45):
More more focused on appeasing the radical left that runs
their party and the left desire to attack President Trump
than they are actually making their the families and their
communities they're safe. I mean, it just it's that basic.
Speaker 1 (06:58):
You know.
Speaker 3 (06:58):
You though we don't want federal law enforcement coming to town,
we might actually have safer communities, but that makes no sense.
But that's that's the position they're taking now, with the
exception of Mayor Bowser here in Yes DC, she seems
to have changed her tune a little bit because she
I think she now sees like, oh, it's a good
(07:18):
thing that carjackings are down eighty two percent or eighty
seven percent. The good thing. We're having less muggings, less murders.
That's all a good thing. So I think she's changed
her tune somewhat because she sees the benefit there. And
of course, the District of Columbia is a unique position
in a political jurisdiction since that it's the federal city.
The Constitution makes it this unique unique entity. So yes,
(07:42):
she's changed her tune a little bit, and I think
that that's just good common sense.
Speaker 1 (07:45):
Right in addition to you know, we know we've been
seeing now for weeks how silly knew some looks and
the stuff that he's tweeting out and he's just trolling,
and he's trying to do it, you know, Trump style,
and you know, yeah, it's just so silly. So you
got that governor, you got Pritzker, who I just keep
scratching my head listening to this guy. And now earlier today,
(08:08):
I see that Shapiro, the governor of Pennsylvania, saying, if
Trump tries to screw over Pennsylvania, workers don't have to
go through me, is what he That's the thing where
I'm going. All these governors they try to talk all
this tough game, and then you got the mayors that
are jumping on and it's all these blue cities, and
it's it's blue city after blue city. Trump's attempting to
(08:31):
make life better for everybody. You know why, because that's
what he promised he was going to do, to try
to make it. That's a bipartisan thing. Who doesn't want
to be safe where they live with they I did
see some people in Chicago, some ladies that were going,
you know, saying that yeah, they would like it to
be safer, and all of this different stuff. It is.
It is so silly. And then now they're all attacking
(08:53):
the voter I D thing. And I love what President
Trump said. The only reason you don't want it is
to cheat. There's no other way around if you don't
want voter ID. I mean, it's just what like you've
said before. And I see other people say it's like
the Democrats are constantly on the wrong side of history.
It's these ninety ten issues. They dig in on the
(09:15):
ten percent, you know, unpopular side. I don't understand if
they keep doing this. Wait, you know what this is
going to be. This feels to me like it's going
to be a slam dunk come midterms.
Speaker 3 (09:26):
Yeah, well, it's it's like common sense.
Speaker 1 (09:28):
You know.
Speaker 3 (09:29):
Common sense is you have more law enforcement, you get
less crime. Oh go figure, you know that that's a
good common sense position. People get that, and every parent,
every person wants a safer community for kids and for
themselves and for their families. But yet that's today's left.
And it seems to me that these these political folks,
these mayors, these governors, it's all about positioning themselves for
(09:49):
the Democrat primary. Who can out left the other one
so that they can maybe win the primary and be
the nominee. That's what it's all about, versus what is
just good common sense the people. You get the privilege
of representing as the mayor or the governor of that
respective state, why not do what's in the best interest
of those families. You probably campaigned that you were going
(10:09):
to do something on crime. Now that there's actually something
positive being done on crime. You criticize it because you
think it helps you politically by to go out and
attack President Trump. I don't think it's going to fly.
I think you're right. They're they're consistently taking positions that
just don't make good commentons.
Speaker 1 (10:26):
Hey, represent is kind of pivoting here. Representative Nadler is
calling it quits. I was a little shocked. What was it,
thirty I think thirty four years, something like along those lines.
And then you start reading his statement, and of course,
you know, you know, it finishes with you know, the
especially when we're facing the challenge of Trump and his
(10:48):
incipient fascism, and you know, I'm not saying we should
change over the entire party. You know what I think, Congressman,
I think you know a lot of your counterparts there,
you know, on the other side, whether they want to
admit it or not, I think they're seeing like, ooh,
you got these zorin Mamdani's of the world that are
starting to kind of emerge, and they're going, oh, my gosh,
(11:12):
we're going to get nowhere with that, you know, kind
of a thing. Even Nadler, who you know, I don't
know if that feels that way to you or not.
Speaker 3 (11:20):
Remember what the Democrats did to mister Nadler too. He
was the top Democrat on the Juiciary Committee last congress.
They don't have term limits. He should have been the
top Democrat on the Juiciary Committee this Congress, but they
decided to kick him to the curb and they put
in Jamie Raskin because they think they're going to win
and if they win, just I mean, voters need to
understand this. If they win, they will impeach President Trump again,
(11:42):
and they want Raskin to be the guy they're going
to run into the more traditional fashion out of the
Judiciary Committee versus how they did it five years ago
by running it with Adam Shipp out of the Intelligence Committee.
So I think that was the whole play here, is
to bring in someone like Raskin to be you know,
more of the maybe the hardcore left or however we
want to describe it as the top guy on Judiciary
(12:04):
because they think they're going to win. Our job is
to part of our job is to make sure they
don't win. Go out and campaign hard and make sure
we keep the majority in the House so they can't
stop the progress that that we've been making.
Speaker 1 (12:15):
Yeah, very good man, very good Congressman Jim Jordan, thanks
for jumping on with us today. Guys takes share, all right,
We'll see you
