Speaker 1 (00:00):
Bob pa dou Check in studio with me today. And
so while Mars Marshall was speaking just there, were you
looking at the TV? Did you see the headline? It
was Mark Cuban is blasting the Democrat. Yeah, that is
telling you something when you say a guy like Mark Cuban,
and let's face it, he's mister DEI woke guy. I

(00:21):
think he's okay with men competing in women's sports. You know,
he checks a lot of those very incredibly liberal boxes.
He's telling the Democrats, Yeah, your messaging is off, and
all we can do is pray that they continue down
this road so they will get their asses handed to
them yet again. Whenever it's it's a chance to have

(00:43):
that happen. It's crazy. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
Look, I think there's like a self fulfilling prophecy here
to a certain extent. And here's what I mean is
like the radical left runs a Democrat party. I mean
to the extent that they're not necessarily in all the
position of power. But you can't go off the reservation
as a Democrat when it comes to Trump and some

(01:05):
of these other issues. And I think there is a
frustration going on with a radical left that there Trump said,
all these wins, the big beautiful.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
Bill Scotus wins exactly.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
Peace and prosperity, you know, job creation. You know, we
ought to be reducing in interest rates because inflation's holding.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
You know, that's a whole Yeah, I got that next
dollary jerone pound needs Like.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
Yeah, all these great things are going on, and I
think they're just getting more and more frustrated, and they're
lashing out at Democrats and.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
Michael quote Charlie Sheen winning remember that, but yeah, that's right,
he just keeps winning.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Yeah, in Cuban's not Yeah, and he's just not a
d I guy. He's like a Democrat icon. I mean
a lot of those Hollywood types are like that. There
are big players on the Democratic Party, and I think
they're getting very, very frustrated with what's going on.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
So how much do they pay attention to someone like
Mark Cuban Because clearly he has a ton of money
and he's a guy who's helping facilitate and you know,
I don't know, I mean I don't I don't know
exactly what he's contributed, but he is a guy that contributes,
he helps, and I wonder how much of that they
listen to with a guy who's doing because he has
to say so, correct, I.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
Mean, well, yeah, but the ones on who the they is? Yeah,
I mean you know, uh, everybody gets this idea that
the party bosses run things, and there's a former party boss.
I got to tell you it's just not true.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
He runs it.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
The people, do the donors party, No, not the donors,
that the rank and file. What people don't realize is
that that, like a lot of times, politicians are just
reacting to their base voters, what their base voters want,
and so it's hard to stray off. And so you
got a lot more Republicans that will stray one way
or the other than in a Democrat party. It's pretty

(02:56):
rigid there. And right now, the rigid voices and the
Democrat Party or being told you got to be anti
Trump on everything, you got to be pro illegal alien,
you gotta be you know, pro DEI, you gotta be
pro men and women's sports. But isn't that you can't
you can't straight from that otherwise in the Democratic primary,
you're going to you're gonna get challenged in Democratic primary.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
But isn't that the worst advice ever? Given what happened
in November. You know that, like, first of all, the
illegal aliens, and you can call them whatever you want,
they're here illegally, okay, so whatever, how whatever you want
to call them, they're here illegally. I love their talking point,
which is they didn't do anything, they're not breaking the

(03:40):
law while they're here, so why are they going after them?
And you go, they're breaking the law because they're here illegally.
So it's so funny how they go, well, that doesn't
really count, and it's just like, well, it counted for
about seventy five million people because they voted for a guy.
And I love how they keep posting they say did
you vote for this? And they'll show a clip of

(04:02):
Ice arrested, and it's like, yes, yes, that is what
we voted for. That's what America voted for. Because they're
tired of seeing what happens in Chicago and go down
the list of all these blue cities where it's just
idiocy that is overtaking public and we're watching the regular
American citizens, citizens who are here contributing to taxes, paying

(04:26):
their taxes and doing all these things. They're tired of
what the illegals were getting away with. So they finally said,
that's enough, this is a guy that we want. Maybe
they held their nose, some of them and voted because
they go, it's for the it's for my family. It's
safer for my family if we start to get these
people out of the United States, because we've seen the

(04:48):
types of you know, heinous crimes that they commit in
here here. But is that to say that every one
of them is doing no, No, it's not to say
that every one of them, every one of them is
doing that. But as a result along the way, if
they pick you up, you still got to go if
you're not here legally. And it's just funny how they

(05:11):
that's the worst advice ever that they have to be
those things you were saying in order for them to try,
because I feel like that's in an echo chamber with
regard to the people that are going to vote for them. Yeah,
they would vote for fill in the blank who believes
in that. But depending on the city, you might be
in big trouble trying to use that as your platform.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
Yeah, you know, well it definitely, but you know again,
you know, the base is so angry. They're so angry
at Trump, They're so angry at whatever else that they
just they're not thinking straight. The base of the Democratic Party.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
Yeah, man, it's it's crazy to watch this play out.
And you've been in you've been around politics and in
politics a long time. Yeah, and have you seen anything
this extreme ever in the history of what you've witnessed? Never? No,
I mean, it has to be the craziest times.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
It is, it is. It'll be fascinating to see what happens.
I mean because part of me is a little bit
of a political scientist on it. How the Democrats draw
themselves out of this, like you know, quicksand for lack
of a better term, I don't know how they get
out of it.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
I like it political quicksand is that's a perfect description.
