Speaker 1 (00:00):
Bob a doucheck. Oh, buddy of mine is hanging out.
And I appreciate you coming in. I know you're busier
than a one legged man and an ass kicking contest
these days right on Plazer.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
But you know what this is like, I get energized
after I coming into your show. It's such an effervescent experience.
Speaker 1 (00:18):
Efferves There is a word I did not realize would
be used in conjunction with describing me, and and I'm
involved in anything with that, but I like it.
Speaker 3 (00:28):
Think it sounds better than just saying you're bubbly.
Speaker 1 (00:33):
It does because uh, yeah, I haven't been described as
bubbly either.
Speaker 4 (00:37):
I'll just say that those are both.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
Words high energy. Let's kay go with something, maggot. I
guess hi, high energy.
Speaker 4 (00:45):
I love it. I like it.
Speaker 1 (00:46):
I don't know if you were listening, but uh and
I got to tell this to Congressman Jim Jordan's going
to join us here in a couple of hours as
he usually does on Mondays. But I got to tell
him the story. And I don't know if I if
you heard me say talking about it on the air
or whatever. But he's a golfer too, now I know
you're a golfer, I'm a golfer, and we've golfed together
in outings and stuff. So a week ago today I
(01:10):
played Mierfield. Did you happen to hear the.
Speaker 3 (01:13):
Story or no?
Speaker 1 (01:14):
So there was a shotgun start and I was getting
ready to tell you this before we jumped on the air,
but I thought, you know what, I'll just tell you
real quick while we're on. So we start on sixteen.
It's a part three. Have you ever played Mierfield or
have you ever watched the tournament there?
Speaker 3 (01:27):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (01:28):
Yeah, sixteen is a.
Speaker 1 (01:29):
Part three and we were in a shotgun tournament. So
we all it's where you all start on.
Speaker 4 (01:34):
You know how that goes. Yeah, so we started on sixteen.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
And if you're listening and you already heard this, sorry,
you get to hear it again. I'll speed it up
so you don't have to hear that. But I'm with
Dave Holmes, who is the sports guy on Channel six,
and then two other guys that are friends of his
are from Toledo.
Speaker 4 (01:49):
And what it was was a work.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
Day kind of because they sponsored the tournament, so the
people who volunteer and work for work day, it was
part of their tournament, and then we were make goods.
Speaker 4 (01:59):
Because it was media right, they let us.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
They invite us out yearly to play there before the tournament.
It's all part of a media outing and so on.
So we go there. They paired me up with those
guys and we're on sixteen and it was playing one
hundred and sixty three yards and there's a water short
left or if you pull it left at all, all
the way the.
Speaker 4 (02:20):
Whole distance, it's gone. It's in the water.
Speaker 1 (02:23):
So the first two guys go that are from Toledo.
Both of them are on They hit it on the green. Wow,
And so Dave Holmes goes, Blazer, you go ahead, buddy.
So I tee it up and I hit it and
two bounces bunk off the stick and then sits down
next to the hole.
Speaker 4 (02:39):
It didn't go in. I almost sat a hole in one,
and I'm so mad.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
I'm like no, because I've never had a hole in one,
and I thought, boy, it would be nice when someone's
like you ever had a hole you know you play with.
I'm one of those guys like I'll end up playing
at you know, any course, but I typically am never
in a foursome. So they put me with strangers and
they'll be like, you ever had a one? You know,
it's one of the conversations with people when they pair
you up with strangers whatever. And I would have been
(03:06):
able to be like, yeah, I had one hole of
one on sixteen at Mirfield, Yeah what about stay?
Speaker 4 (03:13):
It stayed out.
Speaker 1 (03:14):
But they were like, you're not putting this getaway and
they like swatted the ball away. It was like, you know,
it tappened, so but starting one under and then the.
Speaker 4 (03:22):
Wheels fell off.
Speaker 1 (03:23):
After that, I was like, ninety five is what I
ended up shooting. But that course is as you know
you get off the fair way. Yeah, and it's it's brutal.
I was in the I was in I think about
seventy percent of the traps there. I think I was
in the bunkers. That rough is so brutal, it was.
It's something else. But what a special, special place that
(03:45):
is the course that Jack built.
Speaker 4 (03:47):
I mean, it's so special.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
We see it every year, you know, the pros come there,
Tigers wanted a bunch of times, Scottie Scheffler the last
two years.
Speaker 4 (03:54):
I mean, it's it's just nice.
Speaker 1 (03:56):
It's a special place and you being a golfer I
knew you would appreciate.
Speaker 3 (04:00):
Do and I'd have been really happy.
Speaker 4 (04:03):
Oh you man, I was beside myself.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
Right then there's no footage, but I did have witnesses,
so there's that, and it's.
Speaker 4 (04:10):
The sports guy.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
Well then he actually right, and he hits the ball.
David's the ball really good actually uh so, and he
hits it pretty long, so you know, but it was
it was fun.
Speaker 4 (04:23):
It was a great time.
Speaker 1 (04:25):
And uh I know you have there's like a an
outing coming up, you know, next month that you.
Speaker 2 (04:30):
Are police and they raised money for their foundation. I've
got zero chance of getting a hole in one. I
just I don't golf that much as my brothers had one.
Speaker 3 (04:44):
So you know, there's that.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
But that is just one of those things that's eluded
me all these I holed out on my second shot.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
You go off a lot more than I do.
Speaker 4 (04:53):
That. Well, I played yesterday and it was so bad.
Speaker 1 (04:56):
It was so bad. I don't I've got a thing
going with my left like elbow and arm. I don't
know it was, but it was just really bad. Yesterday
I played at North Start. It was it was, but
that was my sixth time this year. I haven't played
very much this year well, and three of them were
in Vegas.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
So well, people may not know this about you, but
you're pretty competitive, so I know you take that stuff
pretty serious.
Speaker 4 (05:20):
I try. Yeah, I feel like, if I'm gonna do it,
I want to.
Speaker 1 (05:23):
I want to try to be as good as I
can without you know, getting too overbearing. I don't practice
enough so I can't go out there and be like,
oh no, you're like, oh shut up, you shot eighty
knock it off. Jordan was just on with Clay and
Buck and this was like last week, and Chuck told
me this because he heard it and he goes, hey,
just so you know, and Jordan's ask him about the
(05:44):
eighty one he shot with his brother.
Speaker 4 (05:45):
So he just played recently. But I guess Jordan's pretty good. Wow.
I keep trying to tee it up with him.
Speaker 1 (05:51):
I played with Balderson a bunch of times, yeah, but
I've never played with UH with.
Speaker 4 (05:55):
Jim Jordan, but one of these times maybe maybe you know,
kind of a thing.
Speaker 1 (05:59):
But so, yeah, so you were you were speaking all
those guys. So you were in d C last week?
Speaker 2 (06:07):
Yeah, and I saw my good friend UH Secretary Christinome
Department Homeland Security. Very you know, they've been doing a
great job with the border on the you know, shutting
down the border, making it secure.
Speaker 3 (06:20):
They had like zero getaways in the month of.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
That's instinc That is insane when you think about the previous.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
Administry one percent and and you look at all of
the tremendous success that they've had on the border, and
and you have to most people don't realize this, but
it was very underfunded. I mean they were doing that
all of that the first six months of the minister bill,
right because this is all on a shoe string budget.
It was the previous budget before where they you know,
(06:49):
they weren't doing anything about hiring new ice officers, they
weren't doing anything about you know, they weren't using the
wall money to build anything. And so they they've really
like got a lot done in short period.
Speaker 3 (07:01):
And now with a.
Speaker 2 (07:02):
Big, beautiful bill, I mean they they're going to really
be able to do some serious progress.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
She's super, super engaging in addition to being look, I'm
just gonna say it, she's beautiful. Everybody knows that. And
I'm not over here like horn dog. She's beautiful, and
she's super engaging for somebody who might be looking at
because you see all this stupid stuff all over socials,
like you know, Barbie Doll, Noome, you know, and all
(07:29):
this stuff. It's like, look, don't be mad at her
because she had she what do you want her to
make herself uglier? I mean, you know, try to be ugly.
It's I hate that she has to deal with that.
And I'm sure at some point you know she's this
or that about that. But I will tell you the
thing I was bringing up about super engaging now you
know or you're friends with her, right, She was here
when she was governor, speaking out of Lincoln Reagan Day dinner,
(07:52):
and that's when I met her. She was super, super nice,
and I was begging her, you know, I was like, uh, well,
I'll stop there, but I just she was super cool.
We stood there and chatted for a while. Blah blah blah.
But she's man, really really cool and she didn't know
me from Adam.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
You know. Well, here's the thing about her. You know,
she's very very good administrator. She runs that department. It's
a huge it's a department of departments. It's very complicated
and she does a good job of it. So you
think about all the stuff they're doing with immigration, and
then they're also responsible for FEMA. And I think one
of her greatest strengths is, you know, she has the ability,
(08:33):
you know, being a mother and a grandmother, to go
down into Texas where the horrific disaster was and console
those families and to deal with that situation in a
much different way than you know a man would do
or anything like that.
Speaker 4 (08:49):
I mean to say that, Well, but.
Speaker 3 (08:52):
She's fantastic.
Speaker 2 (08:54):
I know, the presence really happy with her performance because again,
she and the entire team over there are doing a
great job on again so many different fronts because they
have CPB, they have ICE, they have FEMA, they have
Secret Serve, they have all it's a huge, huge department.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
Speaking of that, Tom Holman, did you see him get heckled?
Speaker 4 (09:15):
Yeah, dude, I like he's.
Speaker 1 (09:18):
A guy, Like I'm watching that and I'm going because
of who he is and I know, yeah, speaking of
Secret Service, I mean he's uh. I think there could
be as many people or more as that are after
President Trump, as far as that want to do him harm.
Speaker 4 (09:36):
He might be right.
Speaker 1 (09:37):
There, like second in line people are so on the
left and people who are just well, I'm gonna say it.
They're flat out idiots. They're idiots. They do not understand
what is happening right now. And for them to try
to say, you know, we keep seeing why do the
ICE agents have to wear masks and all this, it's like,
(09:57):
you guys, you are the dumbest people on earth, you know,
if you have to ask these questions. So point being,
he gets heckled by the a protester that that Conservative
summit turning point, turning point, that's it. Yeah, And so
the kid whoever it was, said, are you an MS
thirteen gang member?
Speaker 3 (10:18):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (10:18):
What? It didn't even make sense, it's you know what
I mean? Like, Yeah, I was like I was trying
to find the correlation because I didn't understand.
Speaker 2 (10:26):
Well, And here's the thing, Blazer, it's not just like
these folks that are like hecklers or protesters or anything.
There are democratic elected officials, the mayor of Los Angeles,
the governor of California. That part is members of Congress
that are like, it's unacceptable, it's just amazing, it's just amazing.
Speaker 3 (10:47):
It's too far.
Speaker 4 (10:49):
Yeah, are we all on the same team here, because
clearly the answer is no, but it should be yes.
Speaker 1 (10:55):
Yeah, I mean when you talk about bass and everything
going newsome and you're right, the whole state of California.
Can we just get a big saw and saw them
loose and they can be their own country.
Speaker 4 (11:06):
It's so dumb. What's happening of it?
Speaker 3 (11:08):
Well, I don't think it.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
I mean, it's not the people out there, it's it's
they they elect folks. Yeah, and you know, but really,
how much of an election can you have when there's
not really a choice?
Speaker 4 (11:20):
Correct?
Speaker 2 (11:20):
And and again, you know, there's a lot of craziness
going on in the Democratic Party. I honestly, you have
to wonder if it's mental illness or what. It's just
that none of the stuff makes sense, some of the
things that they're doing.
Speaker 1 (11:34):
What was Secretary g nomes reaction to that raid on
the on that the weed harvesting that site in California.
Speaker 3 (11:42):
I didn't get a chance to talk to her.
Speaker 4 (11:43):
So that happened.
Speaker 2 (11:45):
Athlete came back like Thursday, Dude, there were fourteen children.
Speaker 1 (11:52):
The legacy media does they're talking about the guy that
fell off the roof.
Speaker 4 (11:56):
They're trying to get away. Why are you trying to
get away? It's the first question.
Speaker 1 (12:00):
Okay, it's awful that a human life was lost, whether
he was here illegally or not, that's self inflicted. The
ice didn't throw him off the roof. I mean, and
then when you watch them trying to leave. You know,
I was telling Chuck this on the air last week.
I said, how is it that the I said, the
restraint that they are and this is before the president
(12:21):
said it, by the way, I said, the restraint they
are exercising is off the charts. I said, I don't understand.
Those are federal agents. If you did that to Columbus
police driving by, your ass is going to jail.
Speaker 4 (12:36):
If you threw a brick.
Speaker 1 (12:37):
At their car when they're driving by, they're gonna get
out and tase you, maybe shoot you.
Speaker 4 (12:43):
I mean, that's the thing.
Speaker 1 (12:44):
And I'm watching them vehicle after and those guys are
just teeing.
Speaker 4 (12:48):
Off, like throwing stuff, and I go, what is happening?
Speaker 1 (12:51):
And then President Trump's like, you have the full authority,
And I thought, Wow, the restraints was off the charts.
Speaker 3 (12:58):
It's crazy, this craziness that's happening.
Speaker 1 (13:03):
I mean, when you saw that stuff, you were you
saying that to yourself when you're watching them get pelted
by when they're trying to leave and people go. And
this is another thing too, like when when you know
you'll see on social ice is just doing their job. Yeah,
and so we're the Alchwitz at Alschwitz and I'm like,
what kind of a comparison you this, dude.
Speaker 4 (13:25):
As you can tell, I'm getting worked up.
Speaker 1 (13:26):
This is the this is the dumbest thing over and
over that we have to keep going over and over
and over with.
Speaker 4 (13:32):
And the left is leading this in the media, they're
leading this.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
And the worst part about this is that they like
make these uh, unsubstantiated claims that they're throwing people there,
they're not wearing any uh, that that ice officers aren't
representing themselves, identifying themselves, that they're like plain white vans
where people are getting kidnapped off the street and thrown
(13:57):
They make these statements in the very few people in
the media say well, wait a minute, give me an
example of one of these incidents where this has happened,
and they just don't. I just don't believe it's true
because because I bet if there was an incident like
that where there were people that had masks on that
were government agents that weren't identifying themselves that we'd have
(14:18):
seen it on TV by now, on MSNBC.
Speaker 4 (14:21):
Or C Well, Big Brother, there's cameras every well.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
Yeah, so until they come back with some proof, Hakeem
Jefferies should shut up until he gives an actual example
of one of these incidents where it's like, you know,
people in in you know, unidentified arresting people.
Speaker 1 (14:41):
They try to make it like you've got some hispanic
you know, man or woman standing.
Speaker 4 (14:48):
On a street corner.
Speaker 1 (14:49):
Yeah, and they roll up in a white van, jump
out with a hood, throw the hood over there, you know,
like some stuff you see in a movie when they're
kidnapping people, throw them into the van, slam the door,
and go screeching off. That's the way they're portraying this.
And the average person, Bob in America knows that's not
what's happening. But the mainstream media it wants to continue
(15:11):
to try to paint this this erroneous picture of it,
and the left, like you said, they're all checking the boxes.
King Jeffries, how dare you that is so uh that
that is so just unbelievable that he's okay with portraying
it that way.
Speaker 4 (15:27):
So you're responsible.
Speaker 2 (15:28):
I mean, it just shows you that they have too
so little to actually campaign on on their own, they
have no other agenda than anti Trump. Yeah, and like
I said, I've said this before, maybe even on this program,
Trump could cure cancer and it wouldn't be good enough
for people. They'd be like, no, we got to bring
cancer back or some
