Speaker 1 (00:00):
Arc Bleezer Show, and so it begins and don't have.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Uh and and your dave you about, you know, talking
about your journey beginning with Awake in one eighty Chuck
is you know you sent me a text over the
weekend and I was like, here we go, Man, here
we go, because I man.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
You know, I've known you.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
You and I have known each other our entire well,
our entire careers, basically our entire adult lives thirty seven
years ish somewhere around there. And when I first met you,
clearly you were much larger. You were, you took up
more space on this. But you know what what's interesting
is is is.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
How mobile you were.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
I remember all I remember that time man, Lincoln Village Lanes,
I remember that whole time, and how like, yeah, but.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
You moved you You can move for a.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Big dude, which is that's like the double whammy actually
when you've got that kind of weight and then you
got the strength and you can move too, which explains
why you did your share of Hey, you're gonna you're
gonna either walk out of this bar, or I'm gonna
walk you out of this bar.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
Or you're gonna walk without your feet out of this
bar attitude adjustment technician. Yes exactly.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
But but you sent me a text yesterday and I go, hot,
diggity damn, here we go, you know, and you're just
getting started on awake in one eighty yep, and you're
already down like, man, I'm not gonna steal your thunder here?
Are you gonna save it for the I mean, or
what do you got?

Speaker 4 (01:50):
I don't mind talking about it. I'm I'm giddy like
a schoolgirl. I am just I'm ecstatic. One week in
and I'm like, Okay. The reason you haven't heard me
do commercials because I'm one of these people that has
to make sure something actually works before I say yeah,
I'll do it. So I did a week one week,

(02:10):
nine point six pounds, and the jeans that I'm wearing
right now, I think I was like in eighth grade
the last time I wore a size forty two waist.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
I cannot believe this, I am.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
I'm and you know what that's gonna Actually, you're gonna
get to forty if you and I you know, you
can talk about during your commercials and all your testimonials
and all that were you're headed as far as how
much weight you plan on losing, but you're you're going
to get below forty as far as the waste goes.

Speaker 4 (02:45):
Yeah, well forty was my goal in the beginning. That's
where I said I wanted to be. But you know,
I think thirty eight threes. Well, I look at myself now,
I'm looking in the mirror. I'm like, okay, you could
go to a thirty eight with I don't want to
ever appear sickly or anything. Sure, And I've always been
a bit big built guy, So this is this is
really odd for me because you're what six to two?

(03:05):
Uh yeah, about six two and a half. I've shrunk
a little bit since having kids. Yeah, but yeah, about
six two and a half. And uh I you know
when I my hitto my freshman year in college, I
was four hundred and thirty pounds.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
I was a BigGAN.

Speaker 4 (03:18):
And the odd thing is my sizes really didn't change.
From four thirty to about three sixty three sixty five
is where I spent most of my adult life.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
I was gonna say, I met you around the three
eighty mark somewhere around there. When I first met you,
something like that, and like I said, man, you moved
and you're strong and all other things.

Speaker 4 (03:37):
But anyway, Yeah, so now now that you know I'm
too old to disco, I'm gonna at least look like
I could. And I'm just I sound silly right now.
I sound like a kid, but I feel like a kid.
I'm I'm I am so ridiculously excited after one week
seeing this happen so cool that yeah, I mean I

(03:59):
even wore my to Adidas today. I just that's how
young I feel. I'm wearing my white Adidas with the
black stripes just because I don't feel like a old
guy today. And it's all because I put on a
pair of pants last night went.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
Oh my gosh, stay fit.

Speaker 5 (04:14):
So there you go.

Speaker 4 (04:16):
If I stick your hair, don't be surprised, oh boy,
because I'm that excited.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
Well, it's it's it's.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
Beginning and you're you're discovering what myself and you know
Mike Elliott on Columbus Morning News, and I mean he
dropped twenty five pounds so quickly I dropped twenty seven.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
You guys are the only reason I bothered.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
I mean, if you saw it for you right, you
had a front you had a front row seat.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
Yeah, I mean you saw that it does work. You
do have to put in the work. I mean, you do.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
It's like anything. It's not magic. As a matter of fact,
there is no magic. Because if there's magic somewhere, whoever
figures that out is really going to be rich.

Speaker 4 (04:54):
The thing of it is is it has not been
a challenge. You would think, Okay, you have to adjust
provides you these meal things that you're supposed to eat,
and then you have to change with It hasn't been
a challenge. And oddly, like this morning, I had the oatmeal. Now,
if that was you know, old Chuck and Quaker instant oatmeal,
there'd be like four to six packets in the bowl.

(05:15):
I had the one packet and I'm like, this is
not going to be enough. About ten minutes after I finished, Wow,
that was enough. Well that's the way there's stuff is designed. Yeah, seriously,
it packs a punch man does something. You think, this
looks like a pittily little piece of nothing, but once
you eat it, you're surprised at actually how much you've
got filled up from that.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
So yeah, i'm you.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
And what I think is what's also beautiful with you
is you have some things already in place that are
clearly on the yes list, which is the amount of
water that you can consume every day is something that
is part of what you need to do, and that's
you're already really doing that. So that box was kind
of already checked. But in addition to what it's going

(05:57):
to do is that's just going to kind kind of
bolster what you're really doing every day anyway and part
of your daily with the vegetables and all of the
stuff that and you were kind of working in that
direction anyway, but this is just going to kind of
clamp it all down and put it all in a
in a nice line for you and timeframe and and uh, man,

(06:20):
I'm like I said, I just love the the organic
part of it, which is you sent me a text
yesterday about You're like, man, I got it forty two.

Speaker 3 (06:27):
I'm like, man, I knew you were away and in
this morning and you were.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
Going to talk to your you were going to talk
to your coach and all of that, and you said
she's giddy for you, and man, this is great.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
It was.

Speaker 4 (06:37):
And the water thing actually I kicked up the water intake, which,
in turn, believe it or not, I can't believe this
happened in my life has like cut my coffee consumption
in half. This is number two of the big giant Uh.

Speaker 5 (06:51):
Normal, you're on five.

Speaker 4 (06:53):
I will go through usually four or five of these
a day, and this is likely going to be it.
I just a big bottle was one of my old
sugar free iced tea bottles. And oh, speaking of sugar,
woke up this morning. Usually when I wake up, i'm
one thirty one forty. That's my waking blood sugar level. Yeah,
it was dead on one hundred this morning. It was

(07:14):
ninety six when I went to bed last night.

Speaker 5 (07:16):
Holy cow.

Speaker 3 (07:16):
Yeah, making such a tremendous difference.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
This is huge.

Speaker 3 (07:20):
I'm really excited for you.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
And uh, I'm glad you're joining the ranks and beginning
to push that the waken one eighty stuff. And yeah,
when I think next week is when you're going to
start officially doing commercials if you will or you're it's
your you know, you're going to detail your story. But
I was so excited, I was like, hey, can we
break this at the beginning of the show, because I

(07:43):
just it's so amazing. But I know your first bits
of information that you'll be letting people know about will
be this. That's an enormous accomplishment. And I know exactly
where you're at because that's that was one of the
things that I was really happy about myself.

Speaker 4 (07:58):
I don't want to show off either. What I want
to do is encourage. But look, I'm an old guy.
I've been fat in my whole life, and I didn't
think it would work, and it seems to be working very,
very well. And that's if I can do anything with
the commercials, it is to make other people understand. Look,
I don't care how old you are, how tired you are,
how you think. It's not going to look at this,
and I'll probably do pictures or something so you can

(08:21):
see it on Facebook too. I'm I'm if I seriously
my life, my crazy life. If I can do this,
I'm pretty sure pretty much anybody who bothers to put,
you know, five percent of effort into it could do it.
And that's impressive these days, because frankly, most crap that
says it's going to do something doesn't do anything.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
And this, actually, this actually has me flying like a kite.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
Pretty amazing, yep, already even pretty amazing. And you figure
out what you like and what you don't like and
all that. There's man, that's the beautiful part. There's so
much to choose from. And yeah, it's you end up
figuring out stuff that you like.

Speaker 4 (09:02):
And so yeah, I mean it's those shakes, the the
my coffee is my favorite. I've already decided coffee it
is good. But they still drink the vanilla even though
are both still good? Yeah, yeah, like the food stuff
you drink a shake, nothing to that five minutes ago.
Oh yeah, I'm pretty fool.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
It's surprising, it really is. Again, it's part of the
way it's designed. It's what it's what it's made up of.
And look, they put a lot of they put a
lot of work into this.

Speaker 3 (09:34):
There's a reason.

Speaker 2 (09:35):
You know, tens of thousands of people have have discovered
awake in one eighty and had success. There's a reason.
So that's good. It's fantastic. Quite the light show last night.
How was lou But during this uh, sleeping mostly really
so none of the booms woke her up.

Speaker 4 (09:48):
No, she when when storms come, she has a tendency
just to go to her bed and curl up.

Speaker 3 (09:53):
And you know, as long as Dad's nearby, were good?

Speaker 4 (09:55):
Okay, Yeah, but it was Yeah, quite impressive, and the
wind came through and anything that was to your east
was immediately to your west, and vice versa. The chairs
or lawn chairs on the front porch went to the
neighbor's yard. The trash cans all up and down the street,
and the recycling cans were all knocked over, and but
credit to my neighbors. I went outside to start picking

(10:16):
stuff up. A lot of people just grabbed whatever was
in the street and put back in their cans when
the winds were done with That's really cool. Yeah, they
didn't go, oh, that's the arn trash. They just cleaned up,
which was nice.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
It was like it started and Esther looked over and
we're we're in bed by now, and Esther like sat
up and looked at me, and then uh, looked out
the window and looked at me, looked at the window,
looked at me and was kind of waiting on my reaction.
I'm like eh, and then she just okay, laid back down,
almost like if you're not freaking out, I'm not gonna

(10:45):
freak out.

Speaker 5 (10:46):
And I'm watching Marshall.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
And I was telling you I think and we'll confirm
with him in a little bit because he's gonna jump
on here with us like he always does. And I
don't I don't even know if he knows for sure
how long you went. But I'm telling you, man, he
went twenty five twenty twenty five minutes alone on the TV,
just going. And I was as somebody like you and I,

(11:10):
who we do this. We do this every day and
this is part you know, talk radio is what we do.
We do the talk format, the news talk format, and
the long form is what we do. We talk, we
tell stories, we do we talk about news stories, We
have takes and so on. And I know he does
these in Burst because he does the forecasts and all
of that. But man, he doesn't have a script, and

(11:34):
neither do we at points we do for talking points
and such. But you watch him, he doesn't have a script.

Speaker 3 (11:40):
This guy went for twenty five. I told you, I go.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
Man.

Speaker 2 (11:43):
It was one of the most impressive things ever. And
it wasn't a lot of.

Speaker 3 (11:50):
I mean, he's he's he's given it.

Speaker 4 (11:52):
Hell, I mean, I was like very organized and very
in all the chaos, very controlled last night.

Speaker 3 (11:58):
I was impressed.

Speaker 5 (11:59):
Yeah, it was really a thing of beauty to watch.

Speaker 2 (12:02):
But he was spot on with everything that he was
telling us was going to happen. And with regard to
you know, I think we had a at one point
a tornado watch or warning depending on this particular and
it only went until I think we were in the
ten fifteen to ten thirty range and then that was it.
Now we still had the inclement, whether we had some

(12:25):
howling wind out there and some lightning and thunder and
so on.

Speaker 3 (12:27):
We never lost power, thank god. But that was going
on for.

Speaker 4 (12:31):
A thousand people this morning according to the ABC six
Good Morning Show had twenty five thousand I think aep
people were out last night and was down to like
six thousand this morning. So they were moving.

Speaker 2 (12:43):
Quick, right, and thanks to you know, everybody getting that
back and up and running again because for that that
was you know, those people are probably going, can we
have some of this happen during the day, please?

Speaker 3 (12:55):
Because why do we have to stay up all night
to stuff.

Speaker 2 (12:58):
Never rolls in till late I'm sure Marshall's thinking that too, going,
can we have some of this stuff happened during the day?
Why is it always at night? And I'm not sure
exactly And could it have been worse yesterday?

Speaker 3 (13:11):
Absolutely?

Speaker 2 (13:12):
And I think there might have been some things, some
factors that were involved, and one of which we didn't
have a whole lot of sun yesterday, and I feel like,
had the sun heated us up, and we can double
check with Marshall, I'm pretty sure he'll he'll probably say
that's exactly right. We didn't have a lot of sun yesterday,
and had that heated us up, I think it could
have been much more, much more violent.

Speaker 4 (13:33):
The weird thing is, I was watching Bosh Legacy on
Prime and you know, streaming the whole thing while I
was doing the laundry yesterday for the kids, and I'm
in the basement. I don't hear anything, don't see anything.
After Prime in something, it starts something new.

Speaker 5 (13:48):
Right, so kind of automatically, right at the end.

Speaker 4 (13:50):
Of that last episode of Bosh, it went into that
new Twisters movie, and so I'm.

Speaker 3 (13:55):
Sitting in the basement with Twisters on.

Speaker 4 (13:59):
Hey, yes, buddy Siren, Oh wow, how ironic that happens
just as the movie starts.

Speaker 5 (14:06):
Did you end up watching that?

Speaker 3 (14:08):
I got through probably half of it. What did you think?
It actually was better than I expected?

Speaker 4 (14:12):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (14:13):
Exactly.

Speaker 4 (14:14):
I really like those those YouTube guys. They're so obnoxious
you have to like them.

Speaker 2 (14:18):
Right that that ended up being better than I because
you know, my mind goes back to what Helen hunt
Oh yeah, and God rest his soul?

Speaker 3 (14:27):
Who was it a Bill?

Speaker 4 (14:29):
I don't remember the guy's name, Helen Hunts all I
remember for that movie and when she goes cow.

Speaker 3 (14:35):
That was my favorite life in the whole movie. Yeah, Bill, Bill,
not Cusack, was it?

Speaker 5 (14:41):
Do you know that's Twister?

Speaker 3 (14:45):
The original Bill.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
Bill?

Speaker 4 (14:49):
Oh God, Now see, you're gonna have a stroke over
there now.

Speaker 2 (14:53):
Typically, but typically Zach is like all over that Zach attack.
And that's why I was like, Bill, Bill, and he's
he's gone, He's passed away.

Speaker 3 (15:02):
It was very unlikeston Bill Paxton.

Speaker 5 (15:05):
That's it.

Speaker 3 (15:05):
Thank you Google.

Speaker 2 (15:06):
Yes, all right anyway, but you're right, I'm I'm like
skeptical going into this new one, and then I was like.

Speaker 3 (15:12):
Oh wait a minute, that was pretty good.

Speaker 2 (15:14):
Eventually you'll be if you finish it, you'll probably be like, Okay,
not too bad.

Speaker 6 (15:18):
Listen on your time Blazer Show podcasts on six' TEN
wtv dot.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
Com it, was in fact a rainy night last, night
no question about That stayment.

Speaker 3 (15:30):
Song. There queen's right.

Speaker 2 (15:31):
There it's another Rainy night without, you all, right chief.
Meteorologist well that is That eddie. Rabbitbit, YEAH i don't
know how MANY i don't know how many people are
loving the Rainy night last night because it had a
lot of light with it and a lot of boom
boom with. It so, Yeah, marshall we you, know we

(15:52):
were watching. You AND i was Telling chuck we went
on the, AIR i, go, dude and he was watching.
Too BUT i, said, MAN i was Watching marshall AND i,
go you, know you went for at least a good twenty,
minutes maybe.

Speaker 3 (16:03):
Longer AND i.

Speaker 5 (16:04):
Was, like there wasn't uh, eh AND i, go there's no.

Speaker 1 (16:08):
SCRIPT i.

Speaker 2 (16:08):
Go it was, incredible like watching him just you, know
go and then this is what's, happening and then then
here's this and this is what AND i was just,
like holy, cow man it was and you're like the
most calm and that was it was. Around, WELL i
was watching you up to when you're, like oh, oh
and there it is over the. Roof we're, hearing you,

(16:29):
know and you're like describing what's happening over THE tv
station and all of those. Things but, YEAH i got
a little dicey there last night for a, while and
we continued to see, that you, know torrential.

Speaker 5 (16:40):
RAIN i don't know how much we, got but a,
LOT i.

Speaker 3 (16:42):
Think.

Speaker 7 (16:42):
Yeah so at the, airport the numbers are only like
not quite three quarters of an inch because it moved
through pretty. Quickly so point sixty five is what the airport,
Recorded so that's the number that goes into the. Books
but there were places that did get a lot.

Speaker 5 (16:57):
More rain than.

Speaker 7 (16:57):
That right, now our friends from The National Weather service
In wilmington are serving a couple of places in Southwestern
ohio for damage to decide whether it was straight line
winds or whether it was rotation that created some of
the problems. There in most places in Central, ohio what
we're seeing is straight line wind, damage and there was

(17:19):
there was some significant damage last. Night trees came, down
a lot of power lines came. Down at one, point
there are about fourteen thousand people out of power In Franklin,
county so it was it was quite an. Evening so
what we're watching now Is. Wednesday wednesday is going to
be another alert day for, us especially for the late
afternoon and.

Speaker 5 (17:39):
Evening it's kind of a repeat Of.

Speaker 7 (17:41):
Sunday we're looking at some of the same, threats so
it's pretty much an all hazards event with the potential
for gusty, winds, tornadoes the strong straight line, winds, hail
the whole. Bit the catch To wednesday on is that
it's also going to have some heavy, rain and this
is what's going to create the potential for some. Flooding

(18:03):
this is rain that's going to start On wednesday and
it's not gonna stop until next. Week so we're gonna
have saturated ground and the rain is going to keep
falling on it and it's gonna run off pretty. Quickly
so The National Weather service has already started issuing flood
watches For wednesday night Through sunday, morning and that is

(18:23):
because of the amount of rain we're. Expecting it's almost
like snowfall. Totals you, know we talk about three to
six inches worth of. Snow, yeah this is three to
six inches of, rain and that's a. Lot it translate
that to. Snow it's thirty to sixty inches worth a
ray of. Snow but that's gonna be our biggest.

Speaker 3 (18:39):
Issue.

Speaker 7 (18:40):
Really once we get Past wednesday and the chance for
severe storms, there we may end up with some flooding
across the region tonight down to thirty. Six tomorrow's a
nice day with the high year fifty. Four, marshall thanks forty.

Speaker 2 (18:50):
Eight right, Now i'm looking forward to when the forecast
says seventy six are, warmer but that is not usually
hopefully won't be in tandem with rain and. Thunderstorms i'm
looking forward to that when it says sunshine in seventy,
Six that's What i'm looking for. TOO i haven't been
able to get The harley out. Yet, yeah what's more important,

(19:12):
though the sunshine or the seventy six? Mm well if you're, yeah.

Speaker 3 (19:19):
Well what's the temperature of the?

Speaker 2 (19:20):
Sunshine because What i'm thinking, IT i don't like to
ride in the rain and, LOOK i don't know the
purest might be going.

Speaker 3 (19:26):
Whatever blazer you warm.

Speaker 5 (19:28):
AN i don't like. RIDING i don't like two wheels
when it's wet.

Speaker 3 (19:31):
OUT i just.

Speaker 2 (19:32):
Don't it gets a little can get squirrelly on. You
but some people will.

Speaker 5 (19:37):
Ride in that no.

Speaker 2 (19:38):
Problem SO i guess my long answer is sunshine is
more important than the seventy.

Speaker 3 (19:44):
Six i'm just for a.

Speaker 4 (19:45):
Mindset i'm a sunshine guy, too even if it's cold
and snowy. Outside if you walk out and the sun is,
Shining i'm okay with.

Speaker 5 (19:52):
It it does create a different kind of. Feel i'm with.

Speaker 2 (19:55):
You harsher penalties for those caught driving under the influence
to take, effect. Ohios matter of, Fact, Wednesday april, Ninth Lives,
law he's going to go into. Effect you, KNOW i.
WAS i didn't realize this was happening UNTIL i saw this.

Speaker 3 (20:09):
Article did you were? You did you?

Speaker 1 (20:11):
REALIZE i did.

Speaker 3 (20:12):
NOT i don't know what Lives law, is to be
honest with.

Speaker 2 (20:14):
You, well introduced In february twenty twenty, three did not
receive any opponent testimony before it passed in the State
house In december of twenty twenty. Four so it's going
into Effect, Wednesday april, Ninth Lives, law and SO a
what it is is it's named After Olivia wright twenty,

(20:36):
two who was killed by a drunk driver Near ashville
In september of twenty Twenty that's the origin of Lives.
Law and, yeah there was a, Constituent Brian wright brought
this to issue to my desk after losing his daughter
to a drunk. Driver this Was Representative Mark johnson out Of, chili.
Cooffee he pointed out to me how Weak ohio's laws

(20:58):
are compared to other states in the, name and that
is what inspired me to work on this legislation in
an attempt to try and deter any drunk driver from
becoming a repeat. Offender implementation of this law means those
charged with AN ovii will face increase, fines specifically an
extra one hundred and ninety bucks compared with the current.
Law for, example minimum fine for a first time offense

(21:21):
will go from three seventy five to five sixty. Five
the minimum fine for a second offense is going to
go from five to twenty five to seven. Fifteen now
you might be, going that's, nice BUT i don't know
if you're a repeat, offender are you really going to
pay a nevermind to something like?

Speaker 5 (21:39):
That pay no?

Speaker 3 (21:39):
Nevermind well.

Speaker 2 (21:40):
Lives law also increases the maximum fine for aggravated vehicular
homicide to twenty five, thousand which is ten thousand more
than the current law, allows and right, now the offense
is punishable by up to fifteen years in prison when
the defender has had three or MORE ovii related convictions
in the past ten. Years the incoming law will increase
the maximum sentenced to twenty years and allow courts to

(22:03):
consider offenses within the last twenty. Years, wow so it
does get exponentially stiffer if they if they get you with,
this and depends on the tier level that it could.
Be uh could it could lands in the slammer for
twenty years or something like. This of course that's all

(22:23):
the way the. Max but, LOOK i.

Speaker 3 (22:29):
Can't.

Speaker 2 (22:30):
Imagine first of, all none of us can imagine losing a.
Child you're not supposed to bury your, children as they,
say so you can't imagine losing them to you, know
some sort of horrible, disease let alone something like. This
and it is, uh it's mind blowing to think anybody

(22:50):
could be against this or have any kind of opposition to.

Speaker 4 (22:53):
It the harsher at the higher, end like for repeat,
offenders your third time, Multi i'm good with.

Speaker 3 (22:58):
That at the lower, Levels i'd have to think about.

Speaker 4 (23:03):
It drunk driving is such a complicated issue for me
because a government should not benefit and that for if
somebody is, hurt, harmed or unfortunately killed by a drunk,
driver the last THING i want the drunk driver to
care about is what his find the government should be
his criminal prosecution should dwarf any consideration of the government

(23:23):
making money off of the fact that you lost somebody
to a drunk. Driver there's also that LINE I i AND.
I this is a what's the word? CONUNDRUM i guess
the drunk driving what you're considered to be drunk at
point the lower until it came to point. Oa and

(23:45):
there are those out there that want to take it
to point oh. Six NOW i have seen witnessed with
my own eyes people THAT i guarantee you would blow
a point oh eight or better who could probably perform
surgery or fly a jet because they drink so much
so often they don't feel point oh. Eight they are functioning.

(24:06):
Alcoholics and that's a conundrum as. Well the whole idea
behind it being a danger is that you will lose
control of the. Vehicle you are not in control of your,
vehicle your reaction time if you can do the ABC's,
backwards stand on one, leg spin, around hop up and,
down and Quote shakespeare at point oh, nine if you

(24:28):
did not, swerve did not arbitrarily hit your, brakes did
not show any signs of not being in control of that,
Vehicle are you?

Speaker 3 (24:36):
Drunk that's WHY i became driving under the. INFLUENCE i
think it's reaction.

Speaker 2 (24:40):
Time AND i don't know even if you're a real
good functioning all of those things you, described your reaction
time is slowed at point oh. Eight it's a scientific.
Fact but point oh, nine you know you're at a.
ONE i don't know as far as are you still,
functioning are you able? TO i think it's reaction time

(25:01):
is that's the crux of this whole.

Speaker 3 (25:04):
Thing but you make some really good.

Speaker 2 (25:06):
Points liv's law also will mandate those who have been
charged with AN ovii two or more times to use
ignition interlocks or breathalyzers in order to start their. Cars,
currently the court may or may not require the device
on a second, offense depending on what the individual's blood
alcohol content. Was, so in other, words if there's a second,

(25:27):
offense and say they were at point oh eight or
they're right there on the, line they may or may.

Speaker 3 (25:33):
Not decide to do something like.

Speaker 2 (25:35):
That, AGAIN i was just spitballing with regard TO i
believe what the point oh eight.

Speaker 5 (25:40):
Is reaction time and all of.

Speaker 4 (25:41):
That, yeah breathalyzer thing to start your car, Too i'm
assuming that's a finite amount of time they. Can't definitely
twenty one year old for the rest of their life
has to do, that, right right?

Speaker 3 (25:52):
Yep to check in the. Loose yeah, yeah.

Speaker 8 (25:54):
Well, yeah show, Well Minor league uh excuse, Me Minor

(26:16):
League baseball club unveils possibly the grossest food item.

Speaker 3 (26:21):

so out of my.

Speaker 5 (27:17):
Way they were over.

Speaker 3 (27:18):
There, yes, yes those guys are set up there.

Speaker 2 (27:22):
Too and you know right there that's where the studios
Are alex on the you were on toward the west
end of, that which is down By circa and the
east end the other end Where El cortes is down.

Speaker 5 (27:32):
There that's REALLY i.

Speaker 6 (27:33):
KNOW i walked the entire thing drinking a very big,
beer right you, know when they said do you want
a big?

Speaker 5 (27:38):
One it was a big. One they handed it to.
You that's a Very that's the perfect.

Speaker 2 (27:44):
Answer by the, way when somebody ask you if you
want a big, one you, go wait what H. Yeah
if you go down there toward The El, quartel if
you to on the north side of Of fremont, there
if you look up on the second, floor that's where
the The irish studios. Are so, well that's WHERE i
do the show.

Speaker 5 (28:01):
From, man When i'm down, here you go too bad
you weren't.

Speaker 2 (28:03):
There that would have been crazy if you would have
been like IF i was there and you were, like,
Hey i'm actually On, freemont had been, like what where are.

Speaker 5 (28:11):
You say's dancing gorilla over?

Speaker 6 (28:13):
Here you've seen them out there in those giant suits
where they dance.

Speaker 3 (28:16):
Around we talk a little more About ali.

Speaker 4 (28:18):
Dancing it's scary BECAUSE i saw the video And i'd
really like to know how do you do that with the?

Speaker 5 (28:22):
Pole, well it takes, talent especially the hanging upside down.
Part you went to classes for? That from WHAT i?

Speaker 3 (28:29):
ERSOOD i?

Speaker 5 (28:30):
DID i?

Speaker 6 (28:30):
Did, Yeah, yeah it's weird how you wrap your legs.
Around it takes a lot of.

Speaker 4 (28:34):
Work it, does it, Does and that's been on the
ceiling thing just freaked me.

Speaker 3 (28:39):
Out that was. Awesome, well the.

Speaker 2 (28:40):
Thigh master use did not get to, waste that's, true that's. Yeah,
Yeah god rest upper thighs right. Now, YEAH i know
a little, sore.

Speaker 5 (28:49):
Shiny.

Speaker 2 (28:50):
Yeah so file this one under. Discussing they, say possibly
the grossest food item ever at a minor league ball
club or. Ballpark, uh it's this season The hartford Yard,
goats which, SURE.

Speaker 5 (29:04):
I mean just that. Name you actually assume the food's
not going to be.

Speaker 2 (29:07):
Great probably. Not it's a double a franchise In. Connecticut
they debuted their floats your goat. Item so it is
a quarter pound beef hot. Dog so WHEN i hear,
THAT i.

Speaker 3 (29:18):
Go, well what's wrong with?

Speaker 5 (29:19):
THAT i don't.

Speaker 2 (29:20):
Hear anything gross yet it's top with, peppers, onions, bacon brown.
Mustard again not hearing any. Trouble then they submerge the
whole thing in a glass of one pure goat.

Speaker 3 (29:32):
Milk and we're.

Speaker 5 (29:33):
Done, Okay i'm, out thank?

Speaker 1 (29:34):
You what, like.

Speaker 2 (29:35):
Why would they so? Good why would they ruin that
by submerging?

Speaker 3 (29:42):
It what is? That and what is? IT i, mean
do you get it for free if you consume?

Speaker 5 (29:47):
That is that to make it like go down?

Speaker 6 (29:49):
Easier kind of like you know when they're doing the
hot dog eating contests and they dip it in water
and then, YEAH i don't, know that's, Disgusting Joey chestnut.
Question you, know bacon and eppers and all that come
off in the goat.

Speaker 2 (30:02):
Milk it would have, to it would have to anything
not attached to the dog or the bun would and
and and maybe it still does come off even if it's,
Attached but you're, right that would that would come off
in the milk and come, on what is?

Speaker 4 (30:15):
That?

Speaker 5 (30:16):
What, Yeah i've never had you.

Speaker 3 (30:18):
Have you had goat? Milk i've never. Tried.

Speaker 2 (30:20):
NO i, yeah, yeah, Yeah i'm like cheese and it's
not my.

Speaker 5 (30:28):
Favorite but is it real? Pungent i've never had. Good,
yeah it can. Be it's got a distinct flavor to.
It but but not goat.

Speaker 3 (30:35):
MILK i don't think a bit of a lang to. It,
yes all, right if that's where you.

Speaker 2 (30:39):
Come and as far as the goat, milk you gotta
watch out the boy. Goats their milk is different than the.
Girls stop boy goats give. Milk, WELL i read somewhere
stay away from. Me, yeah you gotta watch milk and
the oh do they smile when it's? Weird so any,

(31:00):
Way butcher And Sonny alex are talking for the first
time and finally they're On.

Speaker 3 (31:06):
Earth we saw the footage when they landed.

Speaker 2 (31:08):
There you, know they're taking them out of the capsule
once they got back and they're they're in like what
looks like a gurney, almost and think about how much
they felt like they probably weighed a million, pounds you,
know once they get back.

Speaker 6 (31:20):
There nine months without, gravity, right very little of. It,
yeah but no. There they were all smiles. TODAY a
little while ago they came. Out they've been home for
about two, weeks and they said they're feeling. Good they
have thanks for everybody involved in getting them. Home remember
they thought they were going to go for eight, days
and they were up there for nine months because of
The boeing Star liner problems and they had to send

(31:41):
Star liner home without, them and THEN SpaceX and Then
Elon musk went up and got them and had two
open seats on the. Spacecraft they had To nick's two
astronauts going up so that they would have two extra,
seats and then brought them home about two weeks.

Speaker 5 (31:56):
Ago But sonny just a few minutes ago, saying.

Speaker 9 (31:58):
Feeling good since we've been back almost two weeks, now
actually went out and ran three miles. Yesterday SO i
will give myself a little pat on the. Back our
trainers are rocking it and getting us ready to get
back to help out with the new astronauts as they're
getting ready for their. Mission so the biggest THING i
want to say was thank.

Speaker 6 (32:16):
You, yeah three miles not too. Bad she's feeling all.
Right and her first homemade, meal she, says was a
grilled cheese, sandwich that that's what she wanted when she got,
home and it's kind of in honor of her.

Speaker 5 (32:28):
Dad, yeah not go, CHEESE i don't think.

Speaker 3 (32:30):
So hipting goat.

Speaker 6 (32:31):
Milk probably The Costco kirkland Shredded mexican cheese and she,
said that's what we use at our.

Speaker 5 (32:38):
Home that's the only reason WHY i know that's the red.

Speaker 6 (32:40):
Bag she says she had big hugs for a husband
and dogs when she got, home and she said in
that order in case her husband heard, it was husband
and then dogs and Then butch said embracing his family
was a big part of getting home for, him.

Speaker 10 (32:52):
Bracing the family, again but also the Opportunity i've already
said it a couple of, times is just to say
thank you to a nation that got involved in all of.
This it makes it, special not just for, us but
for ALL i think our information as a.

Speaker 3 (33:03):
Whole so thank.

Speaker 6 (33:04):
You so they were asked who's in fault for those
star liner launching with the problems and getting up there
and not being able to bring them home in but,
said everybody.

Speaker 5 (33:11):
Involved i'll start and point the finger And i'll blame.

Speaker 10 (33:13):
ME i could ask some questions and the answers to
those questions could have turned the. Tide so blame that's a.

Speaker 3 (33:21):
TERM i don't like that.

Speaker 10 (33:22):
Term but certainly there's responsibility throughout all the, programs and
certainly you can you can start with. Me responsibility With, Boeing,
yes responsibility WITH.

Speaker 5 (33:33):
Nasa, yes you, know but there's a commander right.

Speaker 6 (33:36):
There it starts with me and stops with, me and
then he, says blame, me THAT i should have asked.

Speaker 5 (33:41):
More but would they fly on it? Again and they both.

Speaker 6 (33:44):
Immediately said, yes of, course because if it flies, again
it's going to be even better and they will fix the.

Speaker 10 (33:50):
Problems, yes because we're going to rectify all the issues
that we that we. Encountered, yeah we're going to Fix
we're going to make it. Work boeings completely, COMMITTED nasa
is completely. Committed and with THAT i get on a.

Speaker 9 (34:05):
Heartbeat, YEAH i.

Speaker 1 (34:06):
WOULD i would.

Speaker 9 (34:07):
Agree the spacecraft is really.

Speaker 6 (34:09):
Capable and she says it flies really, well it does
things that others, don't and that she really likes. It
so they say that when they were up, there they
didn't really know the politics of all, this The Biden
White house And Trump White, house and that all of
that kind of went over their heads while they were up,
there and they joined The International Space station crew and
they were doing the duties up. There but they say
that they're happy to be back On, earth that they

(34:30):
can help the next astronauts get, ready and that if
they come calling again to go up On, starline or
even though it let them down the first, time they
would do it.

Speaker 5 (34:37):
Again positivity was amazing during.

Speaker 1 (34:40):
This oh.

Speaker 2 (34:41):
YEAH i mean when you think about somebody who's told,
well eight days and it turns into nine, months and
they have this type of positivity and he starts with you,
Know i'll start with. ME i don't like that word.
Blame and this is unbelievable as far as a lesson in.
Humanity for the love Of, god watching you think they'd
be a little more you, know brazen if you, will

(35:04):
or what have?

Speaker 6 (35:05):
You clearly It, yeah so happy to be, back you, Know, yeah, yeah,
no not at. All they everything was we weren't. Stuck
we were up doing what we love to. Do that you,
know we got the. Opportunity we were given the chance
to stay up. There not only they had the chance
to come home, either but, yeah it was all about.

Speaker 5 (35:23):
That they were given the. Opportunity it's absolutely, amazing.

Speaker 2 (35:27):
Man and that's some some good, stuff some good sound,
There Alex, STONE Abc news out Of Los.

Speaker 3 (35:32):
Angeles what's the temperature there?

Speaker 1 (35:34):
Today what are we?

Speaker 2 (35:35):
Doing it's little chilli here. Today sixty two, okay, yeah
you're warmer than. US i mean we're forty. Seven we
were seventy three. Yesterday but we had some inclement weather later.

Speaker 3 (35:46):
Today. Yeah, yeah we had last, night, man we had
price last.

Speaker 5 (35:49):
Night oh, yeah it. Was it was coming.

Speaker 2 (35:51):
Down we had almost an inch of rain AND i don't,
know maybe an hour and a half or, something so
it was it. Was we got hit pretty good last.
Night but no tornade. Knows they were supposedly gonna happen
everywhere but they.

Speaker 3 (36:02):
Didn't but. Good, yeah, yeah so good.

Speaker 5 (36:04):
Stuff But i'm glad you guys are.

Speaker 3 (36:06):
Okay, well thanks.

Speaker 6 (36:07):
Man i'm gonna get my gorilla costume back on and
start dancing again on Free.

Speaker 3 (36:10):
Monts.

Speaker 2 (36:10):
Sorry oh, man that's. Fun please send us. Footage, Thanks.
Alex see What i've got to tell. You actually Emailed
marshall last night when it all. Started i'm, like, dude
sirens are going, off kids freaking. Out this all looks
to The. South why why AM i? WORRIED i JUST i.

Speaker 4 (36:28):
Want of those people unless the tornado comes, in door
goes hello.

Speaker 3 (36:31):
TORNADO i Just i'm, like you, know, Man i'm with
you on. THAT i don't really.

Speaker 5 (36:38):
Think about.

Speaker 2 (36:38):
It you AND i both have grown up here and
anybody else who's grown up, here and most The.

Speaker 3 (36:45):
DERACIO i remember when that came. Through that was pretty pretty.

Speaker 2 (36:49):
Alarming then last, year not like within a mile and
a half of my, house they were ripping the scoreboards
apart at the high school around the, way and SO
i was, like. Whoa and we had some we had
some damage literally on our street and in our neighborhood

(37:11):
where there was one literally dude a, House, yeah less
than a mile from our. House part of the house
was exposed like A barbie, house like the side of
it driving. By SO i went my entire life and
didn't have anything that. Close and then last YEAR i, went.
Whoa but it does take a lot to get me
going with regard to. Tornado tornado watch tornado watch because

(37:36):
a lot of people start freaking out and most of
it's much ado about. Nothing but you know, what you
gotta be. Ready AND i feel so good About marshall
and his. TEAM i really. Do, man they're so on
it that he knows exactly how to read this.

Speaker 4 (37:48):
STUFF i noticed last night, too as we were talking about,
it trying to, explain you, know where they came from my.
Grandson they say rotation, Now but think about. This when's
the last time you heard the term funnel. Cloud, yeah
they don't use. THAT i think it's been replaced by. Rotation,
yeah BECAUSE i, mean the funnel cloud is the spinning

(38:09):
cloud in the. Sky it's not a tornado till it comes,
down descends to the. Earth so they would call them funnel,
clouds but now they just call them, rotation. Noted maybe
that sounds less scary to.

Speaker 2 (38:18):
PEOPLE i don't, Know, yeah BECAUSE i think that they
mean the same for the most. Part, right funnel cloud, Rotation,
YEAH i.

Speaker 5 (38:27):
Think.

Speaker 2 (38:29):
And you're, Right, yeah until it touched, down touches. Down excuse,
me it's not a not a tornado till.

Speaker 5 (38:34):
The Right's, Traffic, Weather sports and The Mark Blazer show
on six'.

Speaker 1 (38:41):
Ten wtvn hey.

Speaker 2 (38:43):
Stand by we have a special guest who just happened to,
drop by so we'll get to him here and.

Speaker 4 (38:48):
A send IT'S not Milli. Or, vanilla no so, you
know neither one, of well one of, them's gone is.
In gone, you know if we Get, miss cleo we
can probably get. Him, Too, well no she's gone to
who do you get? To gone i'm.

Speaker 2 (39:01):
Not Sure Chief meteorologist marshall McBee is joining us, right
now and luckily none of us were gone in.

Speaker 5 (39:07):
This area.

Speaker 2 (39:07):
Last night we had some inclement weather a little bit
blow through here and luckily no tornadoes as of.

Speaker 5 (39:15):
Nothing, Reported, Correct, marshall well we had some very strong straight.

Speaker 7 (39:18):
Line winds we're still waiting for the actual surveys From.
Southwestern ohio our friends At The National weather service are
out surveying the damage to determine whether it was straight
line wind or rotation that caused some of the damage
In the. Cincinnati area so we should have a report
on that probably usually that comes out somewhere around five,
six o'clock so we should have something on that. Pretty

(39:40):
soon in, the meantime it is quiet out there at.
The moment tomorrow is the quietest day in the. Extended
forecast thirty six overnight tonight Fifty, four tomorrow with a
mix of sun, and.

Speaker 3 (39:51):
Clouds should be a pretty.

Speaker 7 (39:52):
Nice Day wednesday we'll get some showers, and thunderstorms but
the strongest are going to be in the evening and overnight,
hours again and it's gonna be a Lot like. Sunday
night so we are watching for some very warm air
to move In on wednesday with a him ears seventy
six degrees and showers and thunderstorms that could be strong
To severe. Wednesday night that's gonna kick into a floodwatch

(40:14):
because there's rain for the rest of the week and
we're looking at three plus inches Of rain Wednesday, through
saturday and that may cause some flooding around. The region
so floodwatches are ready to go into effect. For that
it's gonna be mild Again.

Speaker 2 (40:28):
On Thursday, ali marshall thanks forty, seven Now And ohio
Secretary Of State frank LeRose is.

Speaker 5 (40:35):
Dropping by sounds like we need to build an arc
based ON what i.

Speaker 3 (40:38):
Just, Heard well i'm sure you experienced some.

Speaker 9 (40:41):
Of it.

Speaker 2 (40:41):
Last night we were talking about, my dog Who's A
jack Russell, named esther and she's looking. At me she's
looking at. The window she's looking, at me looking at,
the window looking, at me looking at. The window i'm. Not,
reacting finally she just puts her head, back down and
that was. Basically IT and i, was, like man we
are fortunate you.

Speaker 11 (41:00):
HAVE dogs, I, have yeah we've got A little. Golden
retriever but what was keeping me up last night was.
My kids they kept getting out of bed, AND saying
I think i.

Speaker 5 (41:10):
Hear something should we go to.

Speaker 11 (41:11):
The BASEMENT and i would check the weather FORECAST and i,
would say go ahead. To sleep i'll take you to
the Basement when, i'm ready. You know so luckily it. Never,
elevated yeah thank.

Speaker 9 (41:19):
You.

Speaker 1 (41:19):
Good.

Speaker 2 (41:20):
Yeah yeah so so We, Have tuesday may six primary
election is, coming up and a lot of people may,
be going what on?

Speaker 3 (41:30):
An election can we just?

Speaker 1 (41:31):
Do?

Speaker 2 (41:31):
THAT yeah i thought we so talk to us about
what this is going, to entail because it's always a
lot of questions.

Speaker 3 (41:38):
PEOPLE have, i, guess well.

Speaker 11 (41:39):
You're right may six is, the primary and believe it,
or not it's already underway for overseasoned. Military voters that
started just a couple of. Weeks ago we started mailing
out those absente ballots for our overseason. Military, voters listen elections.
Have consequences we just had a, presidential election we ran
another honest One. In ohio we had, massive turnout and
and And Now president trump's doing the things that he,

(42:01):
campaigned On and i'm for one happy to. See that
but local elections really. Matter too and, in fact, you
know we all think a lot about who's going to
live In The white house every, four years but who
works at the courthouse and who works at the schoolhouse
and who works at. City hall that has probably a
bigger impact on our. Daily life those are the questions
that we answer in years like twenty. Twenty five and so,

(42:23):
you know we have an important election and there's no
reason to sit.

Speaker 5 (42:27):
It out we make it really Easy.

Speaker 11 (42:29):
In ohio we make it honest too by taking the
dead people off the voter rolls and making sure only
citizens can can pose it that but we make it,
Easy too and so you go to Our website votehio.
Dot gov if you're, not registered you still. Got time
you got another week before the deadline, comes up so
you get registered, to vote or maybe update your registration
if your name changed or, you. Moved whatever if you

(42:49):
got an eighteen year old in your family just turned
eighteen or going to turn Eighteen before, may six get
them registered to vote A vote ohio dot gov And
then while, you're there you can find out what's going
to be on. Your ballot one thing stays wide is a.
Bond issue the state legislature has to ask the people
permission to borrow money for. Infrastructure projects it's a pretty
routine thing that that happens every decade, or so and

(43:09):
so that's going to be on the state. Wide bellot
but then local issues that, really matter maybe a local
levy or a change to your, city charter or maybe
again something like candidates for. Local office the primaries come
up and may so important decisions to make and check
it out all At vote ohio.

Speaker 2 (43:26):
Dot go people reaching out to your office based on,
you know last week, we talked yeah about the executive
order And What president trump, is saying and, You know
CHUCK and i talked about it. On there, it's, like
really there's not a whole lot changing as FAR as.
I go, this much this pretty much was. Already implemented
most of the stuff except for the last day you

(43:47):
could actually vote would be on. Election day. Imagine That
but i'll know how that's gonna all. Play out but
it's got a lot of people going this is.

Speaker 11 (43:56):
Disenfranchising, voter yeah at, the TIME stuff, I mean i'll tell.
You WHAT when i got that, executive order we knew
the president was working.

Speaker 5 (44:05):
On something and.

Speaker 11 (44:05):
When we got that, EXECUTIVE order i spun up a
quick teams meeting with my team and we went through
it and, we're, like well wait, a second we already.
Do this we already, Do that we. Already do so
the vast majority of the things in This Presidential, Executive
order ohio, already does and so. Great news ohio's been
a leader in the country for a. Long time there
are a few things in there that we don't yet
do but would need the permission of our state legislature.

(44:27):
To Do so i've packaged up some of that and
sent it over to our. State legislature i'm about to
do that, to, say hey if we want to if
we want to make, these changes then we can. Do
that and then there are a couple in there, that
listen this is going to be the subject of a bunch.
Of litigation people are going to sue and we'll see
how that turns out. Going FORWARD, but i for one
appreciative that the president is taking some leadership when it

(44:48):
comes to protecting our elections and really getting other states
to Hopefully follow ohio's.

Speaker 4 (44:52):
Good lead ye do we say the stupidity for the
rest of the country or do you? Confront people people
confront you in the State of ohio with, that guarbine the.

Speaker 3 (45:01):
Id devol WHY do i have to be a citizen?
To vote do you get?

Speaker 10 (45:04):
That?

Speaker 3 (45:04):
Crappy here are we smarter?

Speaker 11 (45:06):
Than, That occasionally i'll tell, YOU what i get sued.
A lot i've been sued eight times just in the.
Last year we won all of, those. Lawsuits thankfully those
are leftist groups that are trying to change. The rules
they want to change the election laws at the courthouse
instead of The. State house that's not how it's supposed.
To work but here's. The thing the liberals constantly SAY
that i am trying to suppress. The, vote, listen Guys

(45:29):
if i'm trying to suppress, THE vote i stink. At
it i'm terrible. At it HERE'S what. I mean we're
not trying to. Suppress anything we're just trying to keep.
It honest we had record turnout in, twenty twenty record
turnout in twenty, twenty two and record turnout in twenty.
Twenty four we've broken records every Election that i've Run
as Secretary. Of state, and yes we've kept. Them honest
So if i'm trying to suppress, The vote i'm terrible.
At it, of course that's not what we want.

Speaker 2 (45:50):
To do it's been it really has been really good
to watch the way that it's. Played out kind of
to your point with regard to breaking the records and
record turnout and.

Speaker 3 (46:02):
So on here's.

Speaker 11 (46:04):
The thing honest elections. Drive turnout election integrity. Drives turnout
people want to know that what they're participating in is a,
legit election and so this thing about making the elections
honest suppresses.

Speaker 1 (46:16):
The, vote no.

Speaker 11 (46:17):
The opposite people want to participate in an election when
they know it's going to be an, honest one and
that's what we've given Them. In ohio by, the way
happy to say that people from my party have done
pretty well in massive turnout elections with an honest elections
administration in.

Speaker 2 (46:31):
Our state, once again people that, are, going oh we
have a primary election Coming Up tuesday, may sixth where
can they go to find out exactly where and what?

Speaker 3 (46:40):
