already really kind of basking in the pretty major weight
loss again since I met you. But you know, did
you get to the point where, prior to the twenty
five you've lost now with awaken, that you had settled
into feeling that way every day for the most part,

So it was kind of hard to maybe call back to,
you know, when you were fifty or one hundred pounds heavier. Yeah, yeah,
you understand or get what I'm asking.

I had hit my brick wall. I thought, okay, I'm
not going to take off anymore. I can't get any more. Off,
I'm done. I kept doing what I had been doing.
That took off one hundred and twenty some pounds and
then I stopped, and uh, you know, I had gone
from a fifty six inch pans to a forty eight.
So I was okay, the forty eighths better than fifty six.
Lost a lot of weight and everything, but I couldn't

get any more. And they said you want to try this,
and yeah, wow.

So with them and where I was going with that
questioning was the twenty five Now that have you noticed
yet another different feeling or a different level?

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Yes, yeah, I was actually talking. I had my little
counselor call because you do that weekly.

I still talk to my Yeah, I talked to my coach.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
Yeah, mine is Jen, and Jen and I were talking
this morning and I said, you know, here's the thing.
With all the changes in my life, and I'm putting
in way more hours than I was just six months ago.
I'm not falling over and six months ago, actually I was.
I was dead tired most of the time. Yeah, I
am not dead tired anymore, even though I'm doing more

stuff and going way longer. Waking up earlier, staying up later.
I'm not I'm not faltering. I feel good, I said
a couple of commercials ago. I was like, I'm not
going to jump over a building or anything. I just
don't feel depleted. Is really awesome. You know, I don't

need to be superman. I just need to I just
need to be alive and awake. Have you noticed a
difference in sleeping? Oh?

Speaker 1 (04:09):
Yeah, because that's it feels like my sleep got better.
I don't know that it was.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
It was.

It's by and large, out of seven days a week,
my sleep would be more sound more times than not.
And prior to taking off weight, it was you know,
hit or miss. And also getting to sleep was not
ever really a problem. It was staying asleep for me,

I would I would be restless, and I still battle
with that sometimes. But I think it's just my brain
turns on and then I wake up and then it's
like got to shut it off, got to shut it off.
But I think just overall, so are you noticing that?

Speaker 2 (04:53):
Yeah, sleep, I'm much quieter now. The Queen says she
actually has to check and make sure I'm okay because
I used to make noise when I was it was
really snoring, but she said, you just had a like
rough breathing. I knew you were there, he said. Lately,
I'm going just kind of checking to make sure everything's
okay because you're so quiet when you sleep, which is
again that's great. I still get up a lot, but

that's because I'm drinking a lot of water. Yeah right,
and you're so now you're more ninja. Yeah, and you
need you need water. I know you're supposed to drink water.
I have tried to force myself in the past to
drink water. And I don't know if it's the stuff
I'm eating or what, but I'm I'm wanting to drink

more water now. I have no desire to drink sodas
or anything. I still I drink my coffee, but it's
black now I quit putting the creamer in it.

Yeah, okay, kind of that's good. More for Zach because
I know he puts vodka into his problem. Whatever it
takes to get you through, maneah. But I just I
just I overall feel better.

And like I said, when I looked in the mirror
getting dressed today, I'm like, my gosh, I'm reducing When
you bit a fat guy in your whole life, and
you look in the mirror and you can tell something
about you different. That's a big deal because you see
you every day. And exciting.

Yeah, I was like looking at the almost straight line
from my chin down to my waist, like, where's where's

Trump saying he's going to order Alcatraz Prison to reopen,
I was laughing, and then I thought, wait a minute,
this presents kind of a problem because I haven't seen
that yet. One of the bucket list thing for me.
But I've avoided going to San Francisco for all of

the obvious reasons.

Well, you get a lot of stuff on your shoes.

And that's the biggest one. I was like, I don't.

brave some of the really dumb stuff going on there.

literally is the quote. Alcatraz was closed because it was

about thirty six million people Use skype every, day so
it still does get. Used and for their, Part, microsoft
which of course Owned, skype says that anyone who still
has an account can use those credentials to sign into
what they're pushing people to, now which Is Microsoft. Teams

that's their workplace. Software it also has video calling capabilities in,
it but also a whole bunch of other stuff as. Well,
basically From microsoft's, perspective if they had kind of two
of the same type of products and one with a
lot newer, one they had a lot more staffing and focus.
On so they're trying to push people over to that
as opposed To, skype which, is you, know kind of

the end of an, era though you, know it is
sort of a shade of what it once. Was skype
was very, important especially in the early days of video
calling and online.

Communication, hey well that so what you kind of just pointed,
Out you log in or, whatever so it automatically defaults.

The free version Of. Teams, yeah And microsoft says that
all of your contacts will transfer over and chat history
and that sort of, Thing so they say it's actually
not going to be a huge transition for a lot of.
People but even, still you, know people really did rely
On skype for you, know specifically dialing phone numbers and
using that over the. Internet interestingly, enough just to pull

the curtain back a little bit, here, guys sometimes When
i'm doing one of these calls with your, station for,
EXAMPLE i like to call Through skype BECAUSE i put
myself on a nicer. Microphone but now you know that
that capability is a little bit harder to do when
you're you, know trying and connect on the.

Phone so what what led to? This they just didn't
want to keep up with technology or advance so it's
kind of become a dinosaur of, sort.

Sir, yeah there's a couple different reasons to point to
here For skype's. DEMISE a lot of it comes back
to the fact That skype didn't really innovate Under. Microsoft
skype has been around since two thousand and. Three for
a brief period of, time they were owned By eBay
in the mid two, thousands and Then microsoft bought them
in twenty eleven for eight point five billion, dollars which
at the time was. Huge it was the biggest acquisition

That microsoft had ever, made and it really pointed to
exactly how excited people were about the future of video
calling in the twenty. Tens but, now more than ten years,
Later skype kind of looks the same as it did
ten fifteen years, ago, right there were some features that were,
added you, know the styling of it kind of changed over,
time but for the most, part the functionality was largely the.

Same and when you you, know add to the fact, that,
like there were a lot of other competitors that entered the,
fray Namely, zoom but Also, FaceTime which is baked into
All apple devices or Most apple, Devices, uh you, know
services Like slack And discord which are not you, know
necessarily video first started to bake in video capabilities And

Microsoft teams existed internally Within. Microsoft so a couple of
different factors, here you, know kind of culminated to point
to the depth Of skype, here but a lot of
it just seems to be the fact that they didn't
really change with the, times and there's a lot of
other options out there. Now so why would you jump
over To slack when you can just start a video

call Or, SKYPE i should, say when you can just
start a video call within the app that you're already.
