l I in his hometown on earning twenty five dollars

Wow, July eighth, nineteen fifty four. So he approached fellow
DJ Dewey Phillips. This is kind of an interesting story.
Who had given Presley an early break playing the song,
and he asked him in Presley to do a joint interview.
So Martindale's TV show Top Ten Dance Party was nineteen
fifty six, and by then Presley had become a major star.

Agreed to the appearance, and then Martindale and Presley stayed
in touch over the years, which I thought was pretty cool.
He did a trans atlantic telephone interview at Presley, who
was in the army in German. That was nineteen fifty nine,
when all of that was going on about the great
Wink Martindale. Did you read, by chance, his memoir Winking

at Life? I did not, yea. He wrote it twenty
five years ago, in two thousand. He just said, from
the day it hit the air, gambit spelled winner. It
taught me a basic tenet of any truly successful game

fifty years later remembering game show hosts. That's how iconic
they were. Who's doing game shows now? Okay, Steve Harley.
Harvey's on Family Feud and every damn thing else he
can get into. And Ryan Seacrest is on Wheel Fortune

host are people going to talk about? Yeah, these guys
actually became stars doing game shows. That's pretty awesome.

on NBC called Wheel of Fortune, and then he goes

l I in his hometown on earning twenty five dollars

He was in studio, although not working on air, the

Wow, July eighth, nineteen fifty four. So he approached fellow
DJ Dewey Phillips. This is kind of an interesting story.
Who had given Presley an early break playing the song,
and he asked him in Presley to do a joint interview.
So Martindale's TV show Top Ten Dance Party was nineteen
fifty six, and by then Presley had become a major star.

Agreed to the appearance, and then Martindale and Presley stayed
in touch over the years, which I thought was pretty cool.
He did a trans atlantic telephone interview at Presley, who
was in the army in German. That was nineteen fifty nine,
when all of that was going on about the great
Wink Martindale. Did you read, by chance, his memoir Winking
(12:10):
at Life? I did not, yea. He wrote it twenty
five years ago, in two thousand. He just said, from
the day it hit the air, gambit spelled winner. It
taught me a basic tenet of any truly successful game
show kiss, which is keep it simple. Yes, And you
know MERV Griffin was that kind of a He followed
that pattern as well and had what all those great.

MERV and MERV was such a force behind so many
of those game shows too. I mean we're still watching
the Meal of Fortune and Jeopardy today. Those are those

Betty White's husband, who was doing pass Word at the time.

A lot of these and here we are, forty to
fifty years later remembering game show hosts. That's how iconic
they were. Who's doing game shows now? Okay, Steve Harley.
Harvey's on Family Feud and every damn thing else he
can get into. And Ryan Seacrest is on Wheel Fortune
and every damn thing else he can get into. Aside

from those two fifty years from now, what game show
host are people going to talk about? Yeah, these guys
actually became stars doing game shows. That's pretty awesome.

receive compensation for certain accounts that are under a certain amount,
of money like a. Million dollars that's going to change

advisor and and they're now not going to be compensated
for managing. Your PORTFOLIO so I think i think that's
going to change some some people and how they're getting.

Their advice, so wait they're not. Being compensated there's change.

Account values they're they're not going to pay, the advisor
and and that's that's a that's a. Big thing, you know,
