Speaker 1 (00:00):
Bleezer show.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Well, if you hadn't figured out by now, it was
it was rained out yesterday.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
Didn't get to.

Speaker 4 (00:20):
Play one of the best courses, not only in the state,
but I'm gonna say it gotta be one of the
top twenty golf courses in the world, possibly in the world.
And I'm talking about of course Mirefield Village, the tournament course,
you know, where the Memorials played, and it was the

(00:40):
media outing yesterday. But yeah, I think after all said
and done, after yesterday they'd gotten almost three inches of
rain in that place, and you know, a lot of
people there. I was hanging out with Matts, Dave Metzeled
of course from Fandel Sports or the Jackets if you will,
you know, he was there, another guy Joel who is
also with the Jackets, Vandal, you know, and we're talking

(01:04):
about it before and it's like it'll be it'll be
a really huge shock if somehow, some way this gets
to go as far as the tournament yesterday or the
outing if you will, really isn't a tournament.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
But it was, Yeah, it was.

Speaker 4 (01:17):
And the place is squishy as you can imagine, even
though there's some amazing infrastructure there. From what I understand
to help with drainage and all that, but there's no
way they're gonna let us schmucks out there on it
like and.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
Like mess it all up a couple of weeks before
the memorial.

Speaker 5 (01:34):
Well, I mean, you shouldn't have better, should you go
to Mirror Field in May and not expect rain?

Speaker 4 (01:39):
Well, the thing is, they do it every year around
this time, and I've been in a few of these now,
and this is the first one that was a total wash,
total rain out. This is the first one, man, So
to your point, you would think that this would be
a normal occurrence, but this is the way that they kind.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
Of want to do it.

Speaker 4 (01:59):
They get it close to tournament shape, if you will.
And you know they said also the rough because of
all the rain had not been no mowing in the ruck.
This the rough is probably around ten inches right now.
First of all, Chuck, and I know you're not a golfer.
You've never even played, right, I mean you.

Speaker 5 (02:18):
Don't I played with back in the nineties, okay, very
quickly and said no, this isn't for me, and I
was done.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
Well, I mean there it's so penal.

Speaker 4 (02:27):
It's so penal, as they say, hitting it off the
fairway because the rough there is brutal.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
I mean brutal.

Speaker 4 (02:35):
You could be standing right over top of your ball
and not even see it. I mean, it's that brutal there.
So you're in big trouble if you hit it anywhere
but the fairway. The short crass, as they say, but
it was extra long yesterday. It hadn't been able to
mow it or any of that, so it would have
just been it would have been brutal. They would have probably,
let's say it somehow would have happened yesterday. They would

(02:55):
have said, anybody who hits it in the into the rough,
just pick the ball up and put it back in
the fair way. Don't even attempt to because there's no
reason to just try to hack it out of there.
It's unreal when you try to hit a ball out
of that yourself, when you're standing over there, and then
when you watch a pro hit out of there and
they're able to.

Speaker 5 (03:14):
Advance it as far as they do, it's insane. So
cheating by by committee is okay when it's high.

Speaker 4 (03:21):
Now what they're doing is because it's us, it's you know,
the media. Yeah, it's just like, yes, don't don't do
it just first of all, you're gonna get a wrist
injury or something awful. You're gonna get a shoulder in like,
something bad, terrible is gonna happen because it'll feel like
you're swinging the golf club into a brick wall.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
Yeah, there'd be none of that.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
Sure anyway, But thanks to Tom and Tom Sprows and
tournament director Dan Sullivan, and I mean, what an amazing place.
And I'm always reminded when I'm there every year, and
I did get one of them. There really incredibly famous
milkshakes that they're so known for there at Mirefield Village.

(04:05):
I got the Buckeye one, and let me tell you something,
it was worth the drive over there. It was incredible.
Scottie Scheffler too, who's the defending champ from last year,
he was there, not there but through you know, through
video feed and you know, people are talking to him
and stuff.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
It was.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
It was cool. It was it was neat to hang
out there and all of that.

Speaker 4 (04:28):
It would have been nice clearly to get around the
golf in there, but it's probably gonna happen at some
point here maybe later.

Speaker 5 (04:35):
I'm glad that you had at least a positive experience
with the the nutritional stuff, the non nutritional stuff. Yeah,
I felt bad with the weather because I'm like.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
Oh, he's gonna be miserable today. I'm not going to
get a chance.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
Yeah, you couldn't.

Speaker 4 (04:52):
There are public courses, so I'm sure that were open
yesterday if you wanted to. You know, they weren't gonna
let any carts out. And you don't take carts out
on Mierfield Balk you have caddy and all that.

Speaker 5 (05:02):
Yeah, that was too wet yesterday. Do PlayStation golf. It
was just stupid.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
Now that's rain. Yeah, if you will, absolutely so.

Speaker 6 (05:12):
Uh, Fairfield County, like you had posted Chuck Fairfield County
Conservatives elected.

Speaker 5 (05:18):
Yeah, well you know, Steve ad got in by three votes,
three count of three votes. But it did get done.
And that's that's why I put that on Facebook today.
You know, Franklin County take a look, I'm sick of
here and oh there's just no way to do anything.
And it looked like Fairfield County was in trouble. And
we had the the drag shows in the Lancaster town

(05:41):
Square this year and people thought, okay, it's it, were
just done, but they got loud and Fairfield County Conservatives.
It's a different group. It's not the Fairfield County GOP.
It is they are their own infancy and they decided
they were going to go after something. And you know,
it's not like they moved the world, but they made
some profits. And I'm just saying, that's all anybody is

(06:02):
asking for. Man at least try, and I'm just I'm
sick of seeing no trying. And I'm proud of them.
I'm proud that even in small victories, they they had
some victories because they bothered to try a.

Speaker 4 (06:17):
Two to one WTV and one eight hundred and six
to ten WTV. And you're more than welcome to join
in on the Legacy Retirement Group dot com phone lines
if you have thoughts about where you were and what
didn't pass or what did pass where you're at, You're
certainly you have a little bit of a platform here
for a little bit because I yeah, yesterday there was

(06:37):
some you know, I think the Groveport Madison Levey voted
down new construction there and you uh, I think it
is surprised there. I mean that that was overwhelming.

Speaker 5 (06:49):
Leon No, Yeah, that was a sixty eight to thirty
one percent yeah, for that margin. And you know, again
people are just there's only so much. Man, When groceries
are going up and homeowners insurance is going up, mortgage
rates are going up, gasoline is going When everything's going
up around you, you have to go up the same amount.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
Otherwise you're buried.

Speaker 5 (07:11):
And I think too many people are just buried at
this point and they say, look, I can't do any more.
If you're going to get it from you, you're going
to have to take it because I'm not voluntarily pushing
a button to give it to you.

Speaker 4 (07:21):
Ohio issue too, that was well, I mean that was
a big approved, a big ys for that. Of course,
let's see sixty seven to thirty two sixty seven.

Speaker 5 (07:30):
But yeah, as I knew it would be. That's why
I said, I'm not even inclined to vote, because I
knew this was going to happen. Yeah, you put a
levee in front of people and they say, sure, why not.
And it was to extend and expand. That word expand
is very bothersome with issue too. But you know, we've
once again signed off and said okay, go ahead, State

(07:51):
of Ohio borrow some money and we the taxpayers will
be responsible for the repayment of those funds, And I personally,
I think anytime a bond issue was introduced, it's Franklin
County or any county or city or state with the
bond language needs to be the repayment strategy. We need
to know what's going up, what are we going to

(08:13):
have to pay? Now, Oh, this won't increase your taxes,
but what's going up? Our license plate's going up another
twenty bucks next year, our state licensing fees for your
professional licensing going up another fifty percent. What's going up
coming out of our pockets that we're going to have
to pay in order to pay back this bond money?
That should be part of the submission of any bond

(08:33):
package as far as I'm concerned.

Speaker 4 (08:35):
Yeah, the Yes vote supports allowing the state to here
at Ohio to issue up to two and a half
billion in general obligation bonds limited to two hundred and
fifty million per year over ten years, to assist local
governments and funding public infrastructure improvement projects. And as far
as where or how, they'll let you know, Yeah.

Speaker 5 (08:55):
Two hundred fifty million over ten years, two point five
billion dollars. We'll let you know and we'll you know,
and while we're doing this, remember we've also got a
candidate talking about running for governor here that everybody seems
to think is the odds on favorite, who's talking about
elimination of state income taxes. Well, then if there's no
state income taxes, then definitely where the hell is this

(09:15):
money supposed to go. The legislature just passed yet another
budget that doesn't slow down any spending. We're not slowing
down spending. We're taking out loans and and this, or
we're not raising your taxes. It's going to cost a
lot of money to live in Ohio. We're going to
become California. Win our fees and so forth start going up.

Speaker 4 (09:35):
Are they allowed to say we're not we're not going
to raise your taxes because that's such a generic statement,
And then later when they're called on it, when you
know something does raise, they'll go, oh, we met like,
you're right your income tax You're.

Speaker 7 (09:50):
Right, it's subjective here, we're not going to raise your
tax Well, what what taxes did you do?

Speaker 3 (09:54):
Your income taxes? Oh? So, are you going to put a.

Speaker 5 (09:57):
Fee on the county that the county is going to
pass on on property?

Speaker 3 (10:00):
Taxes. Are you going to increase Is there going to
be a state sales tax? Yes? Are we going to
raise the gasoline tax?

Speaker 2 (10:05):
That's where I was going, Yeah, all that'll raise it.

Speaker 3 (10:08):
This is very very vague.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
Yeah, that's what That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (10:12):
They'll be like, oh, no, well we met like your
income tax, We're not going to raise that.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
We're not going to raise that.

Speaker 3 (10:17):
Thank you for this coffee. By the way, this is
really good today.

Speaker 4 (10:20):
You're very welcome. I thought it was really good too.
Tastes extra fresh. Yes, I'm I'm incredibly I did not
see them brew it right there in front of me.

Speaker 2 (10:28):
A couple of times it's been the case.

Speaker 3 (10:30):
But some coffee watch that's coming.

Speaker 4 (10:32):
To, that's coming to, especially since we just mentioned it.
That's definitely happening club a city Council. Any surprises there.

Speaker 3 (10:39):
None whatsoever.

Speaker 5 (10:40):
Yeah, the you know the favorite Tierra Ross or tire Ross.
The employee at the city Prosecutor's office, that's the office
that prosecutes people for breaking the law. She's the one
who is driving around with four thousand dollars in unpaid
traffic tickets on a suspended license.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
You should prosecute herself.

Speaker 5 (10:57):
Then right, yeah, she she was. Of course, he was
the chosen one, and therefore she was the winner. Got
forty point eight percent of the vote. And Jesse Vogel,
who's an attorney I frankly have never heard of before
until I started looking at the election stuff a couple
of days ago. He came in a close second thirty
nine point fifteen percent. And then the the Kate Curry Desuza,

(11:22):
who essentially was I don't know. She was being labeled
a Democrat with some people called her moderate, some people
I've actually heard referred to her as more of a
socialist mentality, but she came in a distant third place
with what thirty nineteen twenty percent of the vote. There

(11:43):
you do, but I mean that's exactly. They choose who
they want, They make them prominent, They make sure all
the media covers them, even negative coverage. But again, Columbus,
I don't get you. I don't get you. You got
a city.

Speaker 7 (11:57):
Attorney who never was in a courtroom until you elected
him city attorney. He never tried a case, and you
elected him your city prosecutor. Really, then what did you do,
Franklin County? You elect a treasurer that has how many
personal bankruptcies really, And now you take somebody from the

(12:19):
prosecutor's office who's driving around with four grand and unpaid
tickets and on an invalid license or suspended license or
expired like whatever the hell it was, and you decide
this is the person who's going to be one of
nine people deciding what I do, whether it's legal or not,
or whether code enforcement should come to my door and
knock and cite me for it's what what what? I

(12:40):
don't get my oh my gosh.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
The law doesn't apply to them, to her specifically clearly.

Speaker 7 (12:46):
And apparently not to a lot of voters, because these
are the people they keep voting into office. I don't understand.
I don't care if they were Republicans. These are stupid choices.
These are stupe What is wrong with you people?

Speaker 4 (12:59):
It seems like it's never going to change again ever ever, ever, ever, ever,
ever ever. It's going to take money, lots of it,
Soros type money or Elon Musk type money. It feels
like to get any kind of to affect any change.

Speaker 3 (13:13):
Dude.

Speaker 5 (13:13):
Yeah, Well, there's plenty of conservative people out there with
money to invest, but you know they don't want you
to start boycotting their companies or whatever. Right, and the
last thing they want you to do is stop coming
to their stores, buying their products or whatever.

Speaker 3 (13:25):
So they stay quiet.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
They're screed.

Speaker 4 (13:29):
Speaking of voting, eighty nine of one hundred and thirty
three cardinals have to approve or agree on a specific
person in order to get a new pope. There was
black smoke a little bit ago. Yeah, so no new pope.
They say four different votes will be taken tomorrow. On
the first day, which is today, there's only one. And

(13:51):
they said it would go back hundreds of years if
someone would have been chosen or voted in pope today.

Speaker 2 (13:59):
That just doesn't happen on the first.

Speaker 5 (14:01):
Day, I think, honestly, and I'm not really sure why
I care about it, first of all, because I mean,
I really don't.

Speaker 3 (14:07):
I just throwing it in there.

Speaker 5 (14:08):
But it's a national thing, and the local news was
even leading with it at noon today, But it is,
you know, it's it's a news item, so you have
to know about it, you have to think about it,
you have to talk about it.

Speaker 3 (14:20):
I think it's going to take.

Speaker 5 (14:21):
A while because this last pope was so left left left,
he broke with you know, a lot of established Catholic
traditional thinking. So now you've got some people much like
us with Barack Obama as president, you've got a bunch
of hope and change government sponsors everything people, and a
bunch of traditional uh, you know, stand on your.

Speaker 3 (14:44):
Own two feet people.

Speaker 5 (14:46):
I think I think those cardinals are probably in the
same boat. You've got some of them that think, you know,
Francis was the greatest thing ever, and the other go,
could we possibly reanimate reanimate John Paul.

Speaker 2 (14:55):
Hey, what do you think?

Speaker 4 (14:56):
It would be hard to imagine that there are going
to be people now because this has become such a big,
big story. Although the black smoke white smoke thing has
been a thing for as long as we can remember.
But they're going to start with why is it black
smoke that means something negative and white smoke means we've
got someone, it's it's good, it's happened.

Speaker 3 (15:17):
I have no idea what the reason is behind the colors.

Speaker 4 (15:20):
So I wondered, if we're going to get as you know,
the outrage on social media that's racist, why would they
do that.

Speaker 5 (15:27):
I'm also wondering if Grena Thumberg is going to go
and picket because they have smoke at all of any color.

Speaker 3 (15:33):
It just occurred to me, that's smoke. You're exactly happy.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
Weather Sports and the Mark Blazer Show on six' TEN.

Speaker 4 (15:42):
Wtvn so McDonald's cotton candy sprite being labeled the hack
of twenty twenty. Five it's a simple twist on traditional sprite.

Speaker 2 (15:56):
Soda SO i.

Speaker 4 (15:57):
McDonald's you order a, sprite you ask your server to
add three pumps of vanilla, syrup and then you end
up with a drink that tastes just like cotton. Candy
and it's the cotton Candy. Sprite and it can only
be ordered via the drive through or in, person and
it's not available for online, orders Door dash Or uber,
eats of course Not chief Meteorologist marshall McPeek joining. Us,

(16:20):
Now chuck's not, really he, said he really wasn't his.
THING i was, like, MAN i would love.

Speaker 5 (16:24):
That know what OUR ams certified mixologist would mix with
a cotton candy flavored?

Speaker 3 (16:30):
Sprite? Nothing, YEAH i would not have that in the.

Speaker 2 (16:35):
Bar why not?

Speaker 3 (16:38):
You, NO i just can't forgive the fun.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
There i'm Going i'll take a vodka cotton candy sprite.

Speaker 8 (16:44):
PLEASE i, mean, look you, know here's the. Thing if
you find a flavor that you, like throw. SOME i
saw a joke yesterday it SAID i switched from from
coffee in the morning to orange, juice and my doc,
says it's really good for me because it should be.
AWESOME i think it has more to do with the. Vodka,
AH i love, it but you, KNOW i, mean, look

(17:05):
you never know till you try, it, Right so if
you had some of, that maybe you had a little
they do HAVE i, think is It pinnacle has a
cotton candy vodka if.

Speaker 2 (17:15):
You want to go like way over the. Top there
was at one point there was a fruit loop.

Speaker 3 (17:23):
Vodka, No i'm.

Speaker 2 (17:25):
Not sure if. That, yes there.

Speaker 1 (17:26):
Was it.

Speaker 8 (17:28):
Wasn't it wasn't actually the brand, name but it was
meant to be that.

Speaker 2 (17:31):
Flavor.

Speaker 8 (17:32):
Yeah and it was called like loopy or. SOMETHING i,
forget but, yeah and it had all the, little you,
know little circles on it in multiple. Colors you're, Like,
OKAY i know what we're talking. About there's an under vodka.

Speaker 5 (17:45):
TASTE i don't know if it's because of potato or,
what but no matter what you flavor it, with that
underlying taste is always.

Speaker 3 (17:52):
There for.

Speaker 5 (17:52):
Me AND i just so the flavored vodka's just they
don't interest me because that that that thing is still.

Speaker 4 (17:58):
There, well most of a, Used, yeah most of them are,
used and you're achieving the taste something's typically with it
one or two other things or maybe even three of the.
Things and so that's that's what you. Know those, are,
yeah typically used. For and you're, Right pinnacles one of
those ones that they do all those multiple different. FLAVORS

(18:19):
i think three all of us did a bunch of
that too once once upon a. TIME i THINK i
saw a bubble gum or something too with three olives
and that people are putting that on ice and sipping.

Speaker 2 (18:30):
It i'm, like, wow, Okay.

Speaker 8 (18:32):
And if you've got a flavor that you, like then you, know,
hey go with it and and play with it and
find the other flavors that will go along with. It you,
know if you've got if you're using a, madori, right
so it's sort of a melon, flavor it's that green melon.
Flavor you, know what goes with? That, well what can
we put with? That we can put some maybe some
citrus with. It it might be a little. Borderline. Actually

(18:53):
one of the things That i've found that works with.
That are you ready for this is some champagne. Vinegar champagne,
vinegar and what it does is it cuts the. Sweet oh,
okay so the the you you've got the, midori and
then you add that little bit of. Vinegar it cuts
some of the sweet so that it's not quite so,
cloying and then add a little fennel to it so

(19:15):
that you've got a little bit of savory going.

Speaker 5 (19:17):
On, wow it does. Work we have really got to
spend some weekends hiding in his.

Speaker 4 (19:21):
Basement, well, hey that that uh three all they have
a grape three olives as a grape that once upon
a TIME i did have a couple of uh once
or twice or ten times the over over. Ice just
it is like it's like you're drinking grape. Bubble, yeah

(19:44):
and again it's you've got to be measured because you
can't just keep doing that all night or even night after.

Speaker 3 (19:49):
Night but it was.

Speaker 2 (19:50):
An interesting thing to. Do oh it's just for a
little bit.

Speaker 8 (19:52):
There so search real quick on, that BECAUSE i think
you'll find there was a grape crush oh may THAT
i think was maybe. That spend thirty seconds looking that.
Up i'll do this real. Quick partly, cloudy, seasonable patchy
fog overnight tonight fifty one for the overnight. Low, thursday
we're gonna see some sunshine mixed with. Clouds the best
chance for showers tomorrow is going to be in Southern.

Speaker 3 (20:14):
Ohio we might get a few sprinkles.

Speaker 8 (20:16):
Here so, far we've had seven days in a row
with some, rain and that includes today because it was
a little bit right after. Midnight so today includes some,
rain but most of the day has been. Dry tomorrow
chance of showers then On, friday partly, cloudy sixty. Eight
your weekend looks awesome with sunshine both days and highs
in the.

Speaker 2 (20:33):

Speaker 4 (20:49):
Thing last, week at some POINT i do remember looking
At buck in the morning and it was like seventy
four in sun was the forecast For. Tuesday, now it
was over a week ago but then it just went downhill.

Speaker 6 (21:01):
Quickly so on this, one please don't change. It, hey
back to the grape.

Speaker 4 (21:04):
Crush tito's grape, crush but It's tito's, handmade so you
you assemble, it it doesn't.

Speaker 2 (21:11):
Come is that what you were talking about or?

Speaker 8 (21:13):
No NOW i thought there was something using the using
the grape.

Speaker 3 (21:17):
Vodka oh, well.

Speaker 4 (21:19):
This tito's is the, handmade just the Regular, tito's and
then it's got ginger beer in. It then it's got grape,
juice and it's got lime juice in.

Speaker 3 (21:27):
It, Interesting so it's a mule more or? Less is?

Speaker 4 (21:30):
It? Okay, Yeah i'm not doing all. THAT i just
tried to click on. It it's, like are you of?

Speaker 1 (21:34):
Legal?

Speaker 2 (21:35):
Okay ALL i had to do was.

Speaker 3 (21:37):
Click. YES i didn't have to put my birth all. Right.

Speaker 2 (21:39):
GOOD i was, like, man oh and yeah that's. It
it's uh, yeah ginger, beer. Grape so it's basically a,
mule is what you're.

Speaker 8 (21:46):
Saying, Yeah so basically you're you're it's so a mule
is going to be the, vodka the ginger, beer and some.
Lime so you're just using a different you're adding one
more flavor to.

Speaker 1 (21:56):
It.

Speaker 3 (21:56):
Okay, interesting. Sound sign me.

Speaker 4 (21:59):
Up, absolutely enjoy the for, it enjoy it this? Weekend,
perfect all, right Thanks. Marshall it's sixty seven right.

Speaker 3 (22:08):

Kid is that actually alcohol or is that a?

Speaker 2 (22:14):
Soda oh, no it's it's a it's an actual beer.

Speaker 5 (22:17):
BECAUSE i Remember dad giving me a little taste of
the ginger beer WHEN i.

Speaker 3 (22:20):
Was a little. Kid, yeah that's probably what's wrong with.

Speaker 4 (22:22):
Me it's an Actual, beerah it might be something's wrong with.

Speaker 3 (22:25):
YOU i don't. Know it had like a medieval label on.

Speaker 5 (22:28):
IT i remember, that like a girl with braids and
SOME i can't remember the name of it, though but
he was like a leather or something that kind of.

Speaker 3 (22:37):
Thing it wasn't leather it, was but it was a you, know,
okay sorry wishful.

Speaker 5 (22:41):
THINKING i just thought it was. POP i thought it
was like ginger, ale except they called it ginger beer
like root.

Speaker 3 (22:45):
Beer close? Enough thanks, Dad, yeah thank, You. Jed could
you have it the other? Way oddly?

Speaker 2 (22:51):
ENOUGH i would take three hour naps drinking THAT i knew.
Exactly OH i know.

Speaker 3 (22:56):
What he was doing, now, well i'd SEE i didn't like. It,
ALSO i had a taste To, yeah it was the.
Seventies life was.

Speaker 5 (23:03):
Different BUT i had a couple of tastes of beer
WHEN i was a, kid AND i did not. Like
dad was A stros, guy AND i JUST i did
not like the taste of that stuff at. All it's
amazing what happened to me later in.

Speaker 4 (23:15):
Life that was The uh which dog was?

Speaker 3 (23:18):
That it?

Speaker 2 (23:19):
Was Not? Spods was It spote?

Speaker 1 (23:21):

robinson who's now eighty five years, young what?

Speaker 3 (23:43):
FUCKY i just can't believe.

Speaker 4 (23:47):
This he and his wife were sued by four women
and they're accused of raping staff after luring them luring
them into camera less, rooms it claims, Here SO i
guess he lured them into the rooms that did not
have cameras in his, place and he's been accused of

(24:08):
sexually assaulting. Them multiple former employees and so let's, see
they've all chosen to remain unnamed and are referred to
As Jane doe and the. Complaint they all worked as
housekeepers at their mansion In. Chatsworth it's a neighborhood In Los,
angeles and the assaults occurred from two thousand and seven

(24:31):
to twenty twenty.

Speaker 5 (24:32):
Four, boy that's a long time.

Speaker 4 (24:36):
Ago first of, all any anything in the last twenty,
years which is, okay so it would be actually the
last seventeen. Years he's pretty old for something like, this
it seems to. Me but, then as you, know the
more you read into this, article which is like three pages,
Long Jane doe is claiming that he allegedly they raped

(25:00):
her for the first time on a trip to his
home In Las vegas in two thousand and.

Speaker 2 (25:03):
Seven, now wait a, second seventeen years? Ago why did?

Speaker 3 (25:07):
She is that?

Speaker 2 (25:08):
Right seventeen years? Ago why did? She why would this?

Speaker 1 (25:12):
Long?

Speaker 4 (25:12):
Yeah i'm, confused AND i you, know, Look i'm not
saying it didn't, happen by the, WAY i don't want
to just discount.

Speaker 5 (25:19):
IT I Smokey robinson has been iconic since nineteen what
sixty two Miracles, yeah of, course, Yeah and now Suddenly Smokey,
robinson who honestly could have been doing this kind of
stuff for fifty sixty. Years suddenly these accusations are coming.
OUT I i'm not saying it's not. True i'm just

(25:41):
saying it's really hard to believe there would be some
serious proof required in court for.

Speaker 4 (25:47):
Me all four women claim that they didn't pay them minimum,
wage holiday, pay or over time when they worked more
than eight. Hours they also said in court talks that
the couple never provided them with wage statements for the
hours they. Worked SO i wonder if is this somehow
disgruntled former employee or now saying, hey we can go

(26:09):
at fifty million?

Speaker 2 (26:11):
Dollars? Yeah is the lawsuit fifty?

Speaker 4 (26:14):
Million and all four of the accusers say he contributed
to hostile work, environment regularly screaming at, them, hey look
if you're in a, chuck if you're Holding let's say
we go outside And i'm, like, hey stand over here
by my car AND i opened the door AND i, go,
hey can you reach in?

Speaker 2 (26:32):
There and when you, Do i'm like.

Speaker 4 (26:33):
Wham AND i, said are you going to stand there
and keep holding your hand in the? Door and, no
Wam and you're, like oh my, gosh this. Hurts, Slam holy.
Cow stop doing. That wam oh, man my hand mark?
Stuff lam oh, my come. On if this is going
to be a hostile work, environment, yeah and you how
are you going to continue staying? There they're complaining about.

(26:54):
That he didn't even pay the minimum. Wage so it's not,
like well it was impossible. Leave the guy paid me
two hundred grand a. Year he paid you, crap yet you.

Speaker 5 (27:04):
Stayed i'm still trying to Picture Smokey robinson yelling at.
Anyone he's got a voice that Makes Michael jackson sound
like he, man that's the, truth, man that is the.

Speaker 4 (27:14):
Truth, Anyway he's been on a press. Tour he has
A i guess his latest. Album he has an album.

Speaker 5 (27:22):
Out, yes a new, album and he sounds.

Speaker 3 (27:24):
Great he, yes he. Does.

Speaker 4 (27:26):
Yeh so he goes on to, SAY i can't speak about.
THIS i am, appalled so on and so forth right.
Now and if this gets to, trial just don't Call
Bill cosby to the, stand.

Speaker 3 (27:37):
And you don't ever say what putting?

Speaker 2 (27:39):
Pop SO i just find it hard to believe that
after all this.

Speaker 4 (27:44):
Time there's a lot of there's a lot of things
that just don't math here for, me you. Know but,
Look i'm not saying automatically he is innocent of. Whatever
BUT i just, don't you, know it seems so coordinated
and it took so long and just a lot of
stuff isn't at.

Speaker 3 (28:00):
Even Missus smokey is getting accused. Here, YEAH i guess
she was.

Speaker 4 (28:03):
Complicit what was she, doing like rolling tape OR i
mean or, INORINATOR i don't.

Speaker 3 (28:08):

Anywhere, no this happened to be well arguably one of
the top two or three best guitarists who's ever taken
a breath on this rock we Call. Earth so so, anyway,

Said eddie was in my. Dream he played the. LICK

Speaker 4 (31:13):
Know, yeah well he And alex there's some sort Of
i'm Not i'm not, sure but he doesn't mention him
in the. Book, yeah there's like all kinds of stupid
stuff that he's he's almost talking. ABOUT dlr was more
of a complete, Look i'm. PARAPHRASING i don't have the.
BOOK i do.

Speaker 5 (31:31):
Have he seemed to think That David Lee roth was
more of the. Show sammy was the, singer But david
was more of a show with the, band and you
almost you almost feel like he he liked the fact
that he had a big show With David Lee roth
up front more so than he Did sammy just.

i was flying To. Vegas it was gonna read, it

i don't, know.

Speaker 3 (33:19):
Somebody's sitting next to.

Speaker 2 (33:20):
Me i'll tell, you somebody.

Speaker 6 (33:21):
Started somebody sitting next to me started, talking and SO
i closed it and just engaged them the whole.

Speaker 10 (33:27):
Flight basically copyright twenty twenty, Four SO i know it
was late last, year it WASN'T i love That eddie.
Too the long, hair clean Shaven. Eddie when he started
looking Like Bob. Seeger it just didn't feel right with
the short, hair sh in the beard and going gray and.
Everything yeah HE i don't, know he just didn't look
like any healing.

Speaker 1 (33:47):
Oh.

Speaker 9 (33:47):
Man some of their videos were like hot for, teachers
just like those guys just.

Speaker 3 (33:52):
Sit down the. Wall, YEAH i love it that hot
rod peels out.

Speaker 2 (33:57):
FOR i love.

Speaker 3 (33:58):
It, yeah so.

Speaker 2 (33:59):
GOOD i, mean, LOOK i and we were kind of.

Speaker 4 (34:02):
TALKING i was taking shots At David, lee who's seventy years,
old but he sounds like he's ninety five when he
tries to sing now he sounds, Terrible And sammy's seventy
seven And sammy's Still he's still out there doing.

Speaker 2 (34:16):
It he sounds.

Speaker 3 (34:17):
Great.

Speaker 4 (34:17):
Still can he hit the high notes like in dreams
and some of?

Speaker 2 (34:20):
Them, no he can't get.

Speaker 4 (34:22):
Up there, anymore but neither CAN, dlr AND dlar just
walks around look like a caricature of himself on. Stage
it's so bizarre to watch this whole thing play out
in real.

Speaker 2 (34:32):
Time AND i don't know who was.

Speaker 4 (34:35):
It one of the other really storied musicians was saying
some really nice stuff About David. Lee roth and stop
short of saying he sounds, great was saying, like he looks.
Great he dut da da da da. Da BUT i
was looking specifically to hear sounds. Great, never what's.

Speaker 5 (34:50):
IT i watched some footage of his show this, afternoon
the news tour that he's. On, yeah he does not
look bad and he's not as clownish as he has
been in a lot of his stuff, recently where he
JUST i don't, know it seems like he's a child playing.

Speaker 3 (35:04):
Around but thank god for backup.

Speaker 5 (35:07):
Singers, really they were Doing panama and his backup group
he's GOT i think it's three. Guys they sound really
good and they help with.

Speaker 4 (35:16):
That, well they're doing that high, harmony The Michael Anthony
eddie high.

Speaker 5 (35:19):
Harmony But david is basically he'll he'll scream a few
words and then he Does he'll let the backup singers
take it so. Bad but the audience was, responding, well
so maybe they're just into.

Speaker 3 (35:30):
The fact that He's.

Speaker 4 (35:31):
David, yes that's it right. There they did not come to,
go oh, man he sounds. Fantastic AND i relived my
nineteen seventy eight that year when this was going on
for me and that was going on for, me because
you know they're not coming there to hear running with
The devil exactly how it was. Recorded they're, going That's
David Lee roth on. STAGE i understand that part. Too so,
Yeah panama on nineteen eighty. Four, YEAH i had a TWO.

(35:54):
X oh man puts the sun roof in there and
you hear that reached down between your legs.

Speaker 9 (36:00):
And he was that a dots and dots before, That
but this was A NISSAN, x so they chuse. Too,
okay two plus two so it was. Longer, Okay elon
should do.

Speaker 5 (36:12):
That he should come out with A tesla to eighties
ex start remaking some of the Old american sports, cars
except With tesla. Technology oh my, gosh that would sell
about eight. X that'd be that was a cool. Car
that's sixteen would be a good selling.

Speaker 9 (36:26):
Thing.

Speaker 4 (36:26):
Yeah, Hey so with regard to THE, fed and we
were just talking about the rates and and, So, chuck
were we on the air when you were telling me
all that or we'll be off?

Speaker 3 (36:35):
THERE i can't real we were still Off.

Speaker 5 (36:36):
Okay, yeah they did not drop rates as was hoped
today and the speculation, is if you're a betting, person
the speculation is after Their june eighteenth meeting that there's
a seventy eight percent chance that they will drop.

Speaker 3 (36:49):
It Then.

Speaker 9 (36:51):
Marker was kind of flat, today but it had already
considered probably not gonna have a.

Speaker 5 (36:56):
Drop so and what this means basically is Until june
eighteenth week and ex, back you, know prices to be
annoying and probably some stagnation as far As i'm, concerned
because the, tariffs the tariffs need balance on this. End
there needs to be stimulation so that The american consumer,
consumes and if that, happens the tariffs don't. Hurt but

(37:17):
as long as it's tariffs standing alone without that inspiration
on this side for the consumers to, CONSUME i think
things are going to get a little more.

Speaker 4 (37:24):
Painful will that happen By june so they can actually
lower based on you, know kind of What chuck was
laying out. There will they consuming happened By is it
really going to happen that much more in five?

Speaker 3 (37:35):
Weeks that's that's the million dollar. Question.

Speaker 5 (37:37):
Yeah, yes people are killer inspired or scared by what's
on the six o'clock news. Tonight if they hear credit
card rates are going up or mortgage rates are going.

Speaker 7 (37:47):
Up then they sit tight and go keep we got
to keep every sent we, got we got To but
if they get rates are, lowered mortgages are expected to respond.
Favorably in the, morning, bam suddenly the phone starts, RINGING i.

Speaker 3 (37:56):
Want to buy a. House, yeah they.

Speaker 4 (38:00):
Don't grasp it by not doing anything, though it stays
where it. Is so it's not, like, well it's going
to get worse with regard to interest. Rates, correct they're
not going to go up if they're if it's, flat.

Speaker 3 (38:10):
They should not go up. Right, no shouldn't go up.

Speaker 2 (38:12):
Right so there it.

Speaker 4 (38:14):
Is, uh people like you and hundreds of thousands of
others chuck across THE us that are real estate, agents real,
tours if you, will and then all of the people
that are in the market to buy vehicles for. Instance,
yeah how long does it take roughly from when those
adjustments happened to where it gets to the real estate

(38:36):
market into the auto market, banks.

Speaker 2 (38:39):
If you, will for interest for.

Speaker 4 (38:40):
Both, actually but it's it's not like, it you, know
they lower it and then the next day, magically every
oh look at all these zero percent for seventy two
months came.

Speaker 2 (38:49):
Out or, whatever you, know for buying an.

Speaker 4 (38:51):
Automobile but we're right in the thick of that With
josephine right. Now she finally the car she was driving. Died,
yeah so we're we're trying to hunt down and it's
it's like pulling. Teeth of course they have zero percent
on some, things but it's nothing that a nineteen year
old girl would be driving or want to, drive you
know WHAT i, mean not A, tundra A Toyota tundra's

(39:14):
she's not ready to drive a.

Speaker 5 (39:15):
Truck can you imagine the kind of dates that she
would attract if she owned A Toyota tundra, though that's
exactly why.

Speaker 3 (39:20):
She ain't Getting, yeah, well you, know you, KNOW i
do A friday video every.

Speaker 9 (39:24):
Week so next, week, Uh i'm gonna do one on the,
terrafs But i'm gonna have a ret reker speak you,
know and talk about how it's affecting from the level
he sees and you, know they move a lot of,
cars So i'll be interested to see his.

Speaker 3 (39:37):
Update and he talks.

Speaker 9 (39:38):
To marino a lot now that he's you, know a
senator and one of the first auto dealer senators you,
know in the in the in The, Senate so they're
really keeping an eye on what's going, on how the
tariff's affected so.

Speaker 4 (39:49):
Well they're doing pre tariff pricing out there At, RIKER
i saw pre tariff. Pricing there's some other places that
are using that verbiage as well.

Speaker 9 (39:58):
THERE i, mean you got to be creative to move
a lot of. Cars, yeah and they move a lot of.

Speaker 5 (40:03):
Cars and survival versus profit is something. Else the big
corporations will have to take, it you know what they
could the tariffs don't have to affect them at, all
but their investors' bottom lines will.

Speaker 3 (40:12):
Suffer there's there's the. Difference do we want to.

Speaker 5 (40:15):
Get that dividend to our investors or do we just
want to survive the storm and make sure we have
the lion's. Share we don't respond to the. Terraffs we
keep selling cars at the prices they are. At people
will come to us because everybody else is going. Up
our bottom line and our investors are not as, happy you.
Know but when it the smoke, clears we are on
top and everybody else.

Speaker 4 (40:32):
Suffered our Buddy steve At, flowerama for, Instance, YEAH i love.
Him he Is he is a guy who is not
passing the tariffs on to his.

Speaker 5 (40:44):
Customers speaking Of Father's day is coming. Up, yeah so,
yeah local small business owner who, SAID i don't care
what the roses or orchids cost to. Import i'm not
passing that on right. Customers he's keeping the prices to
see out my forever business on that. Day he's gonna
jump on with us. Tomorrow but oh, yeah he's going
to join us tomorrow. Afternoon and But i'm so impressed,

(41:04):
that you, know we sput we checked, him, chuck AND
i checked in with. Him don you know, what has
it been a month something like? That i'm so bad with.

Speaker 3 (41:11):
Time Time's?

Speaker 4 (41:12):
Day oh yeah it, was and he wasn't he's not
budgeting on.

Speaker 2 (41:16):
That he's, Like i'm not going to pass that. On
i'm just gonna we're going to figure it.

Speaker 4 (41:20):
Out but he's still to you and he's still doing
it BECAUSE i checked in with him and he's, like,
YEAH i, go, man that's huge For Mother's. Day he's,
like you're selling me and SO i, said, man we
got to help you get the word out kind of.
Thing so, yeah he's going to join us. Tomorrow, cool
and we'll chit chat about. That but that's a fantastic.
Thing and there are a lot of businesses doing that
that are not passing that on right now because they get.

(41:42):
It and if they can possibly withstand any kind of
of a storm, here if you want to call it,
that then they're going to do that because they get.

Speaker 2 (41:51):
It they know that this is a long it's it's
a long money.

Speaker 5 (41:54):
Thing so and WHAT i just laid, out we'll make
people Like don miserable because his clients will be called.

Speaker 3 (41:59):
Done we didn't perform wellness.

Speaker 5 (42:01):
Corner but you, know, hey wisdom being what it, is
sometimes you have to sit tight and just just. Well
he preaches that all the. Time your cards on the,
table the game is not. Over, yeah how DO i
make my voice sound like? His trying to need some
sort of a? Processor Or i'm actually a woman named Me,
charboneau but all the electronics in here make me sound like.

Speaker 3 (42:22):
This oh, boy be good.

Speaker 1 (42:25):
Weather sports and The Mark Blazer show on six' Ten.

Speaker 6 (42:29):
Wtvn man there, is uh there is a LOT of
i think what is gonna end up being some pretty
good weather straight Ahead here Chief meteorologist marshall McPeek.

Speaker 4 (42:49):
Joining, us marshall as far, as tomorrow you know a.
FEW showers i read that here and what you, Sent

Speaker 3 (42:56):

Speaker 4 (42:57):
Is it clearly it's not going to be like what.
We've experience it's these last couple of days where it's.

Speaker 3 (43:01):
Like the all.

Speaker 8 (43:03):
Days, SOAKING yeah i just want to leave the state Kind. Of,
yeah no this is gonna be some hit or miss
showers and a lot OF that i think is gonna
end up being South. Of columbus so you're you're gonna
need to take some rain gear to be prepared in
case one of these gets overly enthusiastic and makes it
all the way Up to route SIT to.

Speaker 3 (43:23):
