Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, here we go, Mark Blazer, Chuck Douglas less
of Chuck Douglas.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
I might add yet a bit less. Hey.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
Look overall, though, if we're talking about from the beginning.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
I've surpassed the thirty pound mark at this point.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
So man, yeah, I'm that is incredible. I mean, really
it is incredible. You know though, I'm not surprised because.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
Day in day out, I see what.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
You're consuming here at the station, which is, you know,
the the Awaken one eighties stuff. You know, you're having
the sheikhs and the bars and you know all of
that stuff. And then you tell me, like you're constantly
telling me all the different stuff that you're doing, and
I remember going through all of that, and I'm just like, oh,
I remember all this as you're kind of so I'm

(00:52):
kind of reliving it because it's been over a year
for me, you know, with regard to starting that whole
process in the journey, if you will.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
So they seem to be worried about me, you know,
because we've get those counselors, weekly calls with the counselor
to motivate us and keep us on track. And okay, yeah, yes,
the coach and Jen is my coach, and she's she's
always worried. She's like, are you okay? Are you hungry?
Are you no? There's food I miss. I told her that, honestly,

(01:21):
I said, there's food, I miss man. I love my
hamburgers and fried potatoes on Friday night, and I know
I can't do that for a while.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
Now.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
I get that, and I like the occasional overloaded pizza.
But it's okay because I'm not hungry. I don't go,
oh my gosh, I could have something to eat. I'm
eating Plenty's. It's not like I'm hungry at all.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
So you know, that's the key to losing weight, and
anybody will tell you that, no matter how they did it.
But if you're starving to death, it just it elevates
the ability to do that, or inability to do that.
It elevates that, you know, as far as trying to
actually lose weight, because if you're.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
Like, oh, I can just think about food.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
I go to sleep and there's like pizza and pizza,
slices of pizza, dancing around, milkshakes.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
And faces singing to me.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
I mean, if that's all that's happening, And there are
people that do that man. I remember when I used
to go to World's gym back on Oh my gosh,
it was a million years ago.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
I used to go to the one at Westland. I
didn't know you went there.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
Yeah, not Westland, but there was one in Worthington on
Pingaway Drive. And there were a lot of guys who
right around the Arnold. Before the Arnold, they would be
you know what they call dieting down and all of
that stuff.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
And they would be taking this I don't know what
it was.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
It was something to basically dry them out, so their
their definition kind of kind of protrudes more so they're
getting all the water out of.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
Their bottle.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
Supplements and all that stuff.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
Yeah, So they would be going through all of this
process leading up to the Arnold when they were going
to compete, just to try to get really really just defined,
you know, like the crazy defined get their body fat.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
These guys are you know, seven percent six percent.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Yeah, it was insane, right, I'm a little bit higher
than that on the body fat just still, you know.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
But where I was going, where I was going with
that story was they I remember one guy telling me about, like, dude,
every night I have dreams about ice cream talking to
me like little ice cream characters, wo milkshake containers with faces.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
That's where I that's kind of why I said.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
What I was just saying there when you're like, as
long as you're not going to sleep. But they told
me they used to think about that stuff. They would
dream about it. It would consume them leading up to
it because they were just dieting down. They were eating
so clean, just egg whites and chicken breast and a
little bit of rice and not too much rice, you know,
just white steamed rye.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
I mean, it was so bland their diet leading up
to it.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
But they had to to get the you know, the
veins and everything going. And if you don't have a
lot of that DNA and you if you're not predisposed
to that, it's like double hard, you know, for somebody
to get really really uh just to get all shredded
like that.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
I would never want to look like that. I would,
God bless them, I would.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
I just don't. I can't put in.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Even if I had the audacity to put in that
kind of work. I just I don't want to be
one of those people with like the veins sticking out
on my chest and it's just now, you know Stallone
in Rambo, not in Rocky Four. In Rocky four he
was a little too chiseled for me. But in Rambo,
Stallone looked like a guy, a muscular I'm good with

(04:36):
that kind of body. So I wish World Gym was
still around because I honestly, I've been thinking about that
the past few weeks. You're dropping all the weight, but
you got to firm up the flab again. Man, and
I miss I know, but there's a lot of pretty
people gyms. Now. World Gym was a gym gym. World
Gym was where you go sweat and grunt and occasionally,
you know, you might make other sounds when you're you're

(04:57):
doing that lift, and it was a gym. I liked
it because of that. I just I don't I'm not
a spandex kind of guy.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
Well, no, there's plenty of Man, I go to one
and I can tell you about it. But there's plenty
of people that are serious in there. There. They're pretty
people too, But dude, there are plenty of guys who
have on T shirts that look like they slept in
them and shorts that they look like maybe they haven't
watched them in maybe a couple of days. But they're
moving all kinds of weight. They're in there to train,

(05:26):
they're in there to get strong or stronger.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
So there's plenty. I can tell you. The one I
go to, you know, it's pretty reasonable too, so.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
But it's probably near where you live.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
Well, no, it's actually it's in this area.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
Yeah, yeah, we can talk.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
Yeah, yeah, I'll let you know.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
It's really good. Appreciate that.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
How was your weekend?

Speaker 2 (05:45):
Shut up?

Speaker 3 (05:46):
Okay, no, good? Well I saw your toe? What happened
with your foot? Can I even ask you about that?

Speaker 2 (05:51):
I don't. I think it's part of the toe thing.
You know that now the foot is swollen and painful.
And you see these sandal things I'm wearing today because
I can't put them in a tennis you.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
Now, from all that ass you're kicking.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
I don't know what the deal is, man, I'm uh
And the Queen is a little bit of paranoid because
I've actually had surgery on this foot years ago for
the same type of thing where you know, it's associated
with diabetes and cellulitis, and my foot just got in
terrible condition. I ended up having to have it opened up,
and all that stuff. So she's panicking. Now it's awful. Red.

(06:27):
You gotta do you need to go to hospital? You know,
I'm just just I'll put some vix on it. I'll
be fine.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
Some vix. Put vix vapor. Rub I had no idea
little vix.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
Little duct tape. You're ready to roll, baby.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
See you didn't get any gardening done?

Speaker 2 (06:43):
Very little.

Speaker 3 (06:44):
Oh you got some a little bit.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
Yeah. I got about halfway through the garden before the
tiller crapped out.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
Oh I saw I saw you post something about that too.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
Inside the dude, you're having some path that's why you
went shut up.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
How was your week?

Speaker 1 (06:57):
Me?

Speaker 2 (06:59):
Yeah, the little thing at the cap inside when you
pull the string on the tiller and it connects to
the engine just to spin it to start the Yeah,
that broke inside. So I got to get it in
another one. It's like a nineteen dollar part. It's not
a big deal, but getting to it and can't I
got the queen for that, no problem. I was out there,
I said, I can't believe this, And she came out

(07:19):
there with her little screwdriver's ratchet and we had it
apart in like two minutes. It's like, here's what you need. Okay, Yeah,
she's wonderful.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
That's great, that's great.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
I'm waiting for the car to break down again because
I got her. I don't care anymore.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
Man, you got to get that stuff planted, because I
want some of it.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
I know, I know everybody's got in Uh.

Speaker 3 (07:38):
No, not everybody me. I'm I'm I'm first in line.

Speaker 1 (07:44):
You have to stare at my ugly face every day,
and you'll have to stare at it even more. I'll
figure out a way to get in your life somehow,
even more if you don't hook me up with some
of your fresh veggies.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
I gotta have a substantial pepper section this year too.
My brother in law, Mike is he's wants the ghost peppers.
I've never never tried those before.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
Huh oh.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
So yeah, I'm a green pepper, you know, bell pepper
kind of guy. Maybe maybe a little hallapen yo, but yeah,
the ghost everything.

Speaker 3 (08:10):
I want those maters, and I'll try. I'll definitely try
a ghost pepper. If you get those going.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
The big old the big old bee stakes scales, you
can't beat them.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
Let's go.

Speaker 2 (08:20):
Hot summer morning. Just go out there and bite into
one of those things. I love it.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
Oh that's take a little I gotta take a salt
shaker with me, but I'll do that.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
Oh yeah, oh yeah, keep one up there on the grill.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
So Trump had a pretty good weekend. Yes, he did
a little better than ours, it sounds like. But they've
secured another good deal for the American people, the initial
trade deal with China that reduced tariffs ands the retaliation
sets Americans on path for truly free fair trade. The
second significant trade breakthrough of this past week, I might add.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
You almost planned and he knew what he was doing.
What No, man, I've been trying to tell people. Trump
is doing nothing but negotiating, and he's using the tools
at his disposal for that negotiations. And what happened, Well,
it's just for ninety days. They want our money. It
won't be just for ninety days. Once we use this

(09:16):
period of time to smooth things out, yep, and life
will be normal again.

Speaker 3 (09:21):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
Stock market's a fantastic soaring right now. I heard some
people even speculating today, Now this is ambitious, but saying
that now will hit fifty thousand within a year. They're
they're speculating that that could happen. And again ambitious. We'll
see Scott Bessett said, we reached an agreement ninety to

(09:42):
a pause substantially moved down the tariff levels. Both sides
on the reciprocal teriffs will move their tariffs down one
hundred and fifteen percent. So this is really going to
change the game. This is going to change the game.
Supply chains bringing back important strategic industries can be a
result of teriffs, but it's also a result of national will.

(10:04):
So this administration running full speed to make sure that
is you know, what we saw during COVID never happens again.
So there's all kinds of different angles that are happening
right now with this, but the biggest being the stock
market is smiling, it's thriving, it's happy today.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
And are the tariffs on our goods going into China
are going to make our goods so affordable to the
Chinese people. Ten percent terraffs on US imports into China. Yeah.
Do you recall now what happened with the Soviet Union.
One of the reasons Reagan was able to say, mister Gorovichef,
tear down this wall was because the Soviet people availed

(10:46):
themselves of American products, stupid stuff. Levi's for goodness sake,
they wanted more. They wanted more, and a ten percent
tariff means the Chinese people will be getting more American
goods at their disposal they could afford. And I this,
this could be so much bigger than just money. It
really could. I hope it is.

Speaker 1 (11:07):
Secretary Besson also said, you know, it was always it's
on the.

Speaker 3 (11:12):
Negotiations, respectful.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
We had the two largest economies in the world, were firm,
we moved forward. We came with a list of problems
that we're trying to solve, and he claims, you know,
we did a good job on that. How do you
how do you really say they didn't? How do you
how do you say we didn't? But somehow, some way,
the mainstream media will find a way to say that
wasn't a good deal or something was wrong with this.

Speaker 3 (11:35):
The other thing was with prescriptions, you know, medication.

Speaker 1 (11:40):
You know Trump talking about you know, thirty to eighty
percent less than what we're paying now as well.

Speaker 3 (11:47):
Now that is going to take a little bit of time.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
Clearly that's not an instant thing from what I understand,
but saying within ninety days, that also could be a
realistic thing. I mean his administration. Gas prices are down
to which we'll get to a little bit later, but
his administration is doing what they said they were gonna do.
And look before let me stop you before you go, well,

(12:10):
ye know, the stock market went down because of what
he did, and now he brought it back up, and
now he's going, look what I did. Well, yeah, but
now it's going to surpass where it was. That's the
thing you got to remember. And the focus from legacy
media was look what he's doing to this economy. The
economy is going to explode. And then also, by the way,
interest rates are going to go down. So hopefully, hopefully

(12:33):
Jerome pal can can get butt within ninety days. They're
supposed to meet again before that time, and during that timeframe,
things are going to be thriving.

Speaker 3 (12:42):
I predict we're going to have a pretty good break.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
People are so shortsighted, whether they are voters, whether they
are media, whatever they are, they don't understand the big picture,
the big game, the end result. Donald Trump does something,
stock market goes out, Look what he's done. Look what
he's done. Oh no, the stockbark is shut up. Will
you look? Ten days head, for gosh sakes, would just
stop looking at this moment in time.

Speaker 3 (13:04):
This is about.

Speaker 2 (13:05):
Winning the game, the whole game, not just that move
on the table. And oh, I'm I'm. I don't care
about proving anybody wrong because I know when they are
proven wrong, how how good things will be for the
rest of us.

Speaker 3 (13:22):
That's it. That's it.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
Forget about who's wrong and who's right. It's just going
to be good. And then that'll be a byproduct of
how good it is. You can go, oh, yeah, he
was right too.

Speaker 3 (13:32):
We were right.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
We were sitting here, we were telling you this is
the way things you gotta trust.

Speaker 3 (13:36):
And look what's starting to happen.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
So there, by the way, I just check Kroger Grade
a large eggs this week three ninety nine in the ad.

Speaker 3 (13:42):
Oh oh, also, you know, uhh
