the DC. I want to showon seven five CCR. You know,
(00:22):
just shut up popin art Beat.Yes, sir, it's hump Day Wednesday.
It's the best damn morning show inthe world. In the building,
man, your boy Dust, thelegend Leon Rogers filling in for Zach Bug
today, my homegirl justiniche white boy. Ryan, what up? Hey man,
if you missed the pre sale yesterday, all right, go ahead and
weaar your goofy because we told youabout it. It went crazy, it
(00:45):
went crazy. But today at teno'clock Big Jam tickets officially go on sale
for the rest of y'all. Youget sex shot now. Now here's the
time that we talk about. Ryan. Stop. This is what November November
November first, and Jam is Decemberfirst. You got a whole month,
you know what. I think that'stwo paychecks, a couple of side jobs.
(01:06):
I think you should buy like tenor fifteen pairs, Leon, instead
of stealing them like you do.Just for anybody in the city. I
think I might go and take amaster do. I might do that.
Now you're gonna be level three hundred. That's why I might do that.
Though, what I might do thatten o'clock. At ten o'clock, I
might go ahead and swipe the rushcard yes, and get me about ten
pairs three hundreds. And then Imight get sassy and get a level two
(01:29):
hundred path because I'm a boss likethat. Okay, yeah, we might
do that. We might say, let's bros for the peoples. For the
people. Hey, but listen, man, at ten o'clock, they gonna
sell for y'all. But let's rockwith it. It's GC check the news,
It's time for the headlines. Yournews coverach from Chicago to worldwide.
(01:52):
But to w GC il morn thisshow. Well, you know, since
America is probably one of the mostlaziest countries in the world, only right
that you have people that deliver food. You know, remember I remember growing
up the only the only people thatgot delivered it was the pizza man.
The pizza man delivered. But nowlike you got apps like Uber Eats and
door dash who deliver whatever to yourhouse. Your favorite restaurant McDonald's was right
(02:15):
down the street. They're delivered toyour house. Well, door Dashers added
a pop up in its app warningcustomers that orders with no tip might take
longer to get delivered. Now,I don't know how I feel about that.
Now, I get it the doordash workers work hard. But to
say because you don't tip, yourdelivery might take longer, that's kind of
(02:38):
crazy, because now that's where we'regonna play with that. What if I
only tip two dollars, You're stillgonna take your time. So it's the
driver's discretion. I'm thinking, well, there it is for me. They
confronted, and if you and azero in the tip amount in the door
Dash app while placing the order, and alert appears with the below warning prompting
(02:59):
you to add a tip. Orderswith no tip might take longer to get
delivered. Are you sure you wantto continue now? Mind you, i'dne
done DoorDash before for my kids, had the nephews and stuff over Chick fil
A and little stuff I ordered. That bill got up to like seventy five
dollars for like four people, andwith the door Dash fees already, it
(03:20):
puts it up to about eighty nowyou're gonna give another five six dollars.
That's eighty six dollars. So Idon't know, I don't know how I
feel about that. I mean,I mean, no tipping his crash.
I at least try to give likeeach time I do it, like five
dollars, but because I know themdrivers out there driving a lot. But
to just say, because I'm nottipping, and I'm already probably putting out
(03:40):
about forty five, fifty to sixtydollars, that's kind of tough. I'm
shocked they didn't do it the otherway, where they just didn't increase their
prices, and not within that increase, the tip is already. You were
saying that off Mike like a barbersays, Okay, look, you know
I'm gonna go ahead and throw thisextra five in here. So normally they
was twenty dollars. Not they twentyfive, their tip already included, and
(04:02):
you know that it's kind of it'llkind of train you. You don't even
think about it, like they tipis already and it's like gratuity out of
restaurant. You gotta get it morebecause you're getting that extra five, and
then then you're gonna get another twodollars, right, But but like I
think door dash is making their customerspenalizing their customers for them being greedy because
door dash got all they feeds thatthey put on there, and then they
(04:25):
want you, well, why don'tyou just put the drivers feed in there
so we just know coming in we'repaying the drivers for five dollars. I
don't know, man, but II door dash finished. Stop getting a
lot of my money. Uber eatshere, I come driving here, Yeah,
driving it. I'm gonna just godown the street because that is kind
of crazy. Man. We gotto McDonald's maybe like five to six blocks
from us. Do you think mykids be ordering like two fries? But
(04:47):
do you think covid did that?We got comfort did it? Absolutely did,
Absolutely did. We got but westill was lazy. We're still lazy.
That's lazy. America's just lazy.I don't. I don't because I
don't even think that's door dashing existin other countries. It does, it
doesn't like it doesn't like, yeahit does. Lawyer, Listen, y'all
(05:09):
be very careful out here on theseroads. Man. There's black ice accidents
all up and down ninety four that'sgot traffic messed up, man slowed down
Chicago. You're gonna get the wayyou're going. There's no such thing as
early late. You're late, You'relate, all right. All you need
to know in sports. I'm justhere so I won't get found. It's
inside Leon's locker room. We allknow about the job coach Dion Sanders has
(05:30):
been doing down at the University ofColorado, kind of changing the way uh
Colorado fans look at football and howwe look at Football's brought some celebrity to
it. They were a one winteam last year and this year, you
know, they've got more than onewin. And they took a loss last
week to u c l A.The last few weeks hasn't gone well for
the Colorado Buffalos. But while theywere losing the u c l A this
(05:54):
past weekend, their locker room wasbeing burglarized by someone now courting to coach.
Some of his guys had a bunchof jewelry stolen from their lockers,
and he isn't happy about it atall. He says, and I quote,
our kids got robbed during the gamelast week. I think that's a
travesty. I would expect the NCAAto do something about that. This is
the Rose Bowl, they say,the granddaddy have them, all right,
(06:15):
I'm sure granddaddy has some money.Grandpa I should have some money to give
these kids. And I hope wecould do something about that. You do
something about everything else, do somethingabout that. Now. Of course a
lot of people others, well, why your players have jewelry? All well?
With the nil deals today players canget stuff like that. Before you
(06:36):
didn't have that. But now ifI got a guy like us Shadoor Sanders
who has a two million dollar NILdeal, yeah, you gonna have some
ice on. He's a teenager. You know, why is that even being
talked about? Why are we nottalking about who got in the locker?
Locker room and stuff? And that'swhat coach Diana saying. So I hope
they worked that out, But coachcoach Prime gonna stay on their ass till
(06:57):
they do. In the NBA Blockbusterthe Trade, James Harden is on his
way to the Los Angeles Clippers. Now a seventy six er cent James Harden,
PJ. Tucker and Philip petrussev tothe Clippers for Marcus Morris, Robert
Coventon, who's from the city.Shout out to Robert Covington, Nick Batoum
and kay J Martin and a twentytwenty eight unprotected first round pick. Now,
(07:21):
this puts Paul George, Kawhi,Leonard, Russell Westbrook, and James
Harden on the same team. Wow, it's not gonna work. I'm just
gonna. I don't think it's gonnawork. It's gonna be terrible. You
do know James Harden and Russell Westbrookplayed together before. Okay, see didn't
work. Uh, Kawhi, Leonardand Paul George can't stay healthy. They
(07:44):
catch a cold and be out foreight weeks. So it's it's not gonna
work. You think money is hardin the common denominator, Yes, he
is. He's a he's a Iwon't say he's a team cancer, but
he's not good for team chemistry.Okay, he gets he's gonna he's gonna
do great. Watch he's gonna greatthe first two three months, he's gonna
be amazing. He's like Zach Damn. And then he's gonna become a male
(08:05):
content and you ain't gonna be ableto find him the first the first two,
three, three months. He's gonnabe like You're gonna be like Dumn,
We're going to the Chip and afterthat he's gonna disappear. He's gonna
find the local strip club in LosAngeles and it's up. It's done.
After you find the strip club isover, e'zach, I'm just kidding.
You better go to WGCI dot comfor these stories and more following all social
(08:30):
media outlets. Hey man, listen, listen, listen, Big Jam is
coming up December first. All right, if you miss the pre sale yesterday,
Okay, Big Jam tickets officially goon sale today at ten o'clock.
Now, who's on Big Jam?Leon? But we got Big Boss Vet,
Findy the Rapper Nle Chopper, CityGirls, Act of You Get smacked
(08:54):
Up, Ski, make the call, Sexy Red or be in the building

at the United Center. Man Aright, you know, mister presell.
But today at ten o'clock, ticketsgone sell for everyone to go to Big

(09:15):
man in Chicago. I've been sayingit every year for as long as I
can remember. Don't wait till thelast minute then jumping our in boxes asking
for tickets because it's not gonna happen. All right, it's time for the
z spot filling in for your boy, Zach Buogs the Destin Legend Leon Rodgers,
and listen. We all saw theweird relationship between Marcus Jordan and Larsa
(09:37):
Pippen. Large. Pippen is theex wife of Scottie Pippen, who was
Michael Jordan's right hand man on theirsuccessful run of six titles. And it
seems a little bit weird that, you know, Michael Jordan's youngest son is
dating his at one time best friendsex wife. Well they're gonna get married,
(09:58):
and Mark it's Jordan has expressed hisdesire to uphold a family tradition.
Take a listen. It's the wedding, you guys. It's in the works,
is my go to saying. Rightnow. You know, I don't
think we have like a date. We're still talking about locations and party size
and all that stuff, so it'snot really concrete yet, but it's it
happened. Do you want your dadto give a toast at your wedding?
(10:20):
How does this work? Yeah? You know, look, I was the
best man at his wedding, andso in the best man at my brother's
wedding, and so obviously we'll keepthat tradition going. It's my thoughts on
it. Wow. So he's like, hey, man, he gonna ask
his daddy to be best man athis wedding. Do you think Mike will
do that? Right? No,you don't think so. No. I
(10:41):
think Michael do it just for faceto not embarrass his so but I think
behind the scenes he's like, bro, I honestly, I'm still not believing
in this relationship. We got toremember Larce's on Real Housewives of Miami.
I think so. I think alot of this probably has to do with
TV. Here's her storyline, Bravowill pay for the wedding. I'm not
truly believing they are for real togetheror will stay together or we'll get married
(11:05):
at that And if they do,I don't believe Mike will be the best
man. What some No, Ithink that veteran cougar Vagina has messed that
young boy's mine up. Man,Like she says, Scotty used to Scotty
used to run through it. Whatseven times? A day for a week.
Do you remember the movie She's aused Maserati Get out. I feel
(11:28):
like Marcus, just get out out. We gotta get him out. Somebody
gotta stop stirring to call somebody islike, we gotta get him out.
Hey, man, gotta give abig shout out to our homegirl, Sherry
Shepherd. She from the Crib andher TV show has been doing very well.
She had the mother of the QueenBee, Tina Knowles, on talking
about Beyonce, and the SuperStar's momplayfully revealed that Queen Bee is a little
(11:50):
mean backstage. Check the listen. We laughed about this recently because I was
saying, girl, you get reallymean back there. I am really happy
that I don't have to be backthere anymore because I used to do the
quick change. We laughed because sheused to do flaws and all, and
she would say in the morning,I'll be like in the evening too,
(12:13):
and then after we get off, she'll say, Mama, I'm so sorry,
and I'm like, I know,and sometimes she'd be crying. I
was like, she crying because sheknows. She just says some crazy stuff
to us, but that's the heatof the moment, because you're trying to
get your shoes on. Everybody's waiting, and you know, if somebody is
messing up or they lose the shoesand you can mess up the whole show.
Hey man, listen, you knowI wouldn't take that from nobody else.
(12:35):
I'd be on my deltor force Teamone ready to strike. But you
know, that's the mother of thequeen. Be that's the queen of the
queen. So you gotta you know, you gotta respect that she know her
daughter well. So she said,Beyonce be crying upset about it. So
that means our queen has a goodheart. She don't want to say that,
but in the heat of the moment, in perfection, you have to
(12:56):
do what the queen said. It'sso funny to hear you talk like this.
Now. I worked with you forseven years, but you never felt
the signs to a change my life. Ryan, I keep telling y'all when
she I'm starting to get When shefloated up off the horse into the air,
you wasn't there. You didn't seethis. There was no wires,
nothing. She was on a diamondhorse. First of all, it was
(13:18):
real horse covered in diamonds. Firstof all, who got money to do
that? Only jay Z and Beyonce. And then she said, hey,
look and she took off any ofthe air and I said, Lord,
have mercy this I'm supposed to behere. I am now covered and I
went filled out my form. Theygave me my Beehive strike uniform. I
wear I wear black as you seea lot. I wear black because I'm
(13:39):
low key. I feel like Zach. I don't really feel like you feal
about this. All of a suddenyou became a part of the behive.
First of all, I think it'skind of as fake as Marcus and Larces.
First of all, First of all, first of all, you didn't
even wear silver, because I'm securitywas I didn't wear Hawaiian thirt. Say
(14:00):
the wait a minute, but Calebdidn't I say, this is where Caleb
get on the micro quick. Calebdid not say this is where I bound
beyond. So that was your thatwas that was your renaissance exactly. That
was my renaissance. But after therenaissance, I was in all black on
point in my uniform. The securitydon't wear silver, we wear black.
(14:20):
You don't go to one concert andbecome a part of her. Yes,
you do. That's what happens witha lot of fans. Right now,
I'm finna get him right now.I'm finna get him right now. You
get so Now, let's just say, because you're pissing me off and I
don't want to have to call myteam on you. Ryan, You've been
on a good streak right now, don't have me had nothing bad? Who
is your team? Now? Letme ask you a question. Now,
(14:41):
let's just say, what church doyou go to? Sir? New Life?
Okay, now you go to NewLife? Right, shout out to
Pastor Hannah. Correct, And that'smy man. I ain't never been to
New Life, but the first timeI come there pasted the hand to touch
my soul so much. Now I'ma part of New Life. That's what
happened to me at the Renaissance concert. There's two different things about church,
(15:01):
which this could really happen, andthe Renaissance to a church of Beyonce and
that's the problem. What's the problem? Nothing? Continue, that's God given
talent given to a beautiful woman whospreads it out across the world. And
she touched my soul. Yeah, you won't break my soul, you see
that see how I got work.See I'm talking. I'm preaching right now.
You won't break my soul. Runand at the end of the day,
(15:22):
let's go back to your original statement, like I'm starting to believe that,
oh the same person that you justdissed about a break and go talking
about Oh yeah, like Zach, don't be so how you're gonna jump on
his side now because Zach thinks youare a faker in his sons. And
Zach has nothing to cling to,he has, he follows no one.
He's just out here a poor, lostless soul. If he should come over
(15:46):
to the Behive, he danced enough, you know what I'm saying, Maybe
he could be part of the danceteam, be High Dance. I'm gonna
be a part of be High Marketing. No, I'm prout of be hib
security. Nobody in Chicago believes.Okay, it's being no I got I
said is in my was in mydeck on the way here. Okay this
morning, huh been down, beenon ben back. Correct, We're gonna
(16:11):
mess up tonight. Virgo groove andI ain't even a virgo. I'm a
cancer. So now for let thisbe the last time that I have to
defend myself about being a new Beyoncefan. I don't think it's becoming you
to hate on my joy because that'swhat you're doing. And the next time
it happens where I feel that it'sslanderers. Something gonna happen to what is
gonna happen, don't worry about it. I'm gonna happen to you. You're
(16:33):
not gonna like it. Okay, this is be Hof strike. We are
smack dab in the middle of lovehim and leave him justice. You got
some ratchetness, man, Get everybodyup to speed on what we're talking about.
Okay, So, young lady whenher guy for five years, he's
been locked up for the last two, she said, he's she's partially the
reason he's locked up. He's outnow can't really work and provide like he
used to. She's having second thoughtsabout getting married to him because she don't
(16:56):
know if he'll be able to providefor her like he used to. So
partially. So you know, wereally need a few more details because if
they both had had you know, and him going to jail. My god,
I'm partially pregnant. Yeah like that. I'm kind of like that where
(17:18):
you put it like that, itmakes who this way you called him from?
Man? I think she votus youhell? And he needs to he
needs to go ahead kick ass tothe curve like a soccer ball, because
at the end of the day,she not locked up for her on top
of what, she held him downonly while he was in jail. She
what you don't hear this and leadit, lead that whole along the boatd
(17:42):
them to the curve like soccer ball. What's your name? What's your name?
And where you call him from?My name is Bonnie and I'm calling
from the south sidecause we don't playthat g Who this what you call him
from? It's c J. I'mcalling from the south side. She is
tripping because if you hadn't put himin jail, he would still be holding
(18:03):
you there. And girl, youbetter get it together and hold your man
down. Come on, all right. Well, she did not say she
was gonna leave him. She saidshe didn't want to marry him yet until
he was able to provide again. And I feel like that's okay. She
can give him a couple of yearsto get this stuff back together. She
say leave, She just said shedidn't want to go through with the wedding.
And I think that's because how longHow long should she be planning to
(18:26):
hold him down? Fifteen years heonly was in jail two. But and
the five years they were together,he was only in jail two. That
means for three years should have marriedher. Then he held her down and
a chance to because a scam. You got three years to marry. At
the end of the day, thisman wants to marry you. You know
what I'm saying, You don't wantto man. Ain't no good man out
(18:47):
here. Now, I can't getmad. Now you got a brother that
want a million, and who's tosay you can't help him. This is
where the woman comes in that's helpinghim turn his life around, to marry
somebody and get back to the guyhe used to be. It wasn't like
he was a bum before he wentin. Now he held you down,
So you know it's there. Youknow it's hustling drivers there. It's the
system that's gonna keep him from doinga lot of stuff you want to do.
(19:08):
But you was the woman, thenurturer. Kick that man back on
stride, give him his swag back. If you know he got a woman
behind him, that love him,he gonna want to get out of bucks
and behind him without marriage. Yes, why do you have to be married?
Then when you get back on hisfeet, don't find white girl,
(19:29):
because then you're gonna be mad likeI got him back right, Lock him
down, make him yours. He'sa good brother. She don't do that
marriage if she if she don't wantto get married to her, she's gonna
eventually end up leaving him regardless nomatter what he do. That marriage is
commitment. Well they should have committedbefore he got like that, and that's
all I'm saying. But he wasworking, he was whold nothing to her.
(19:52):
She gave the credit card numbers. We don't even know three what if
he was equally you know, likehe made the yoke and going to jail,
Well she didn't do no time,so it wasn't equally yoked. Partially
partially, that's what was partially, getting the car, the robbing the liquor
(20:15):
store, you're going to Well, look, I feel like she just don't
want to marry him right now.And as long as she's not leaving him.
This is what's wrong with America today. Married man, marry you and
you don't want to in jail, want to marry somebody. But you said
he wasn't always in jail. Youknow what, We hope we helped you
(20:36):
because if we didn't, we neverlike one so sore. It's that time
of the day that everybody loves oneperson gonna be absolutely pissed. It's Leon's
goofy ass person out of the deadwar. And listen, let me tell
you something. Man ego. Ego. Ego is a mug right, it
(20:57):
can get you locked up. Inthe case of my man Grows who shot
up the party, William Groves whoshot up the party. He opened fire
on a crowd of people attending aHalloween party in North Lindale, injuring fifteen
people. And one of them isa good friend of the show, good
(21:17):
friend of ours in the comedy world. And this you know him, is
Darren Yeah, you know aka UncleHank. You know what I'm saying now.
You know I heard that that hewas upset because he got thrown out,
wind, got a pistol, cameback and shot the party. Oh
that ain't nothing but ego. Testtoserone just being a straight dumb ass.
Here it is. You got abunch of young brothers out here that's doing
(21:38):
some stuff. It's actually positive forthe city because they sketches well, skim
bone, Shout out the skim bone, shout out a low shot out the
pole, little pole, you knowwhat I'm sting, Shout out to Dan
Brown. They do a lot ofpositive things with their skeedus on. Uncle
Hank's hilarious for me, you know, Uncle Hanka and Big Lowland and and
to shoot up a party where peoplejust trying to enjoy theyself. Man,
(22:02):
because you felt like you were slightlybut you walking around disrespecting everybody. Not
to mention you're a former felon that'sbeen having cases pinsed on you since you
was nineteen. You would think youwould walk a straight line. And you
was one of the people that helpedpromote the damn party. Oh this is
one of the promoters. This iscrazy. Wow, So William Brows as
(22:22):
you sit in your cell, youthink about it at forty eight years old.
That's another thing too. Oh right, you don't go to jail.
Why party? First of all,I'm saying I'm saying this, I don't
want nobody to go to jail, right, But if you're gonna go to
jail. Why don't you start outabout seventeen eighteen, So when you get
out your thirties, who decides togo to jail at forty eight going back
to jail. This is over,Yeah, it's done. You had a
(22:45):
good job to work for the CTAand everything. Oh but now your dumb
ass is locked up. Oh wow, all over a misunderstanding that probably could
have been talked out. Or maybeyou just act like you got some sen
at a Halloween party. Had aHalloween part man, somebody Michael Myers,
you understand me. So at theend of the day, man, you
know, hats off to Darren andall those brothers. Man, I appreciate
(23:08):
it. I'm gladder. I hopeeverybody pulls through, ok, because with
a couple of people critical to thefifteen people that were injured, Darren being
one of them, get well soon. And to this William Groves, Dude,
man, I hope you get everythingyou got coming to you when you
go behind them walls in the county. Because that was a stupid, dumb
mistake. Your ego got in theway. You need to sit your goofast.
(23:30):
Now it's time to get into thez spot. Man. Filling in
for your boys at Bugish Boy.That'st the alleged Leon Rodgers and listen.
New defendants Tremont Jones and Wayanisha Evans. They appeared in court Monday. New
documents revealed that authorities believe that Jonesalerted alleged killers to the rappers location,
not the girlfriend's Instagram post like everybodywas saying. Everybody was giving p and
(23:55):
b Rock's girlfriend a hard time becausethey was like, why would you post?
Where was you at Blase Blase? But it wasn't They saying that it
wasn't her. They saying that wasTremont Jones who gave the location of the
rapper where they came in and theyshot him in the middle of Roscoe's Chicken
and Waffles. Yes, they said, They said they he was the one
(24:15):
who tipped off the killers and possiblysupplied the gun used in the murder.
Oh wow, so he's forty five. He appeared in custody at a Compton
courthouse. Freddy Freddy Trone, thealleged getaway driver and father of the juvenile,
charge with gunning down p and bRock inside Roscoe's on September twelfth,
twenty twenty two. That is crazyto me that you would have your son
(24:37):
going. You would go with yourson to go and murder somebody people.
Wow, you put your child inthat position to be the trigger man.
Yeah, it ain't even like youdoing the trigger man son drive for me,
I'm a drive. You gonna henceyou so he get the most time?
And how old was his son?The son's a juvenile, so they
stage right because well, you young, you know they're gonna hit you in
(25:00):
the head. Still, you're gonnaget them years. You're just gonna ride
out the first couple in juvie andthen you're going to the big boy jail
as soon as you hit eighteen.I'll see you again. But that's sad
though, So maybe we can getsome closure on that case. Pnb Rock

come to you today accent for grace. Father, all right, traveling grace
and weather grace. Lord, Pleaselet November come in here acting like it
got some sense. Lord. Octoberclearly wanted to be January for Halloween,
and I want November to realize wedon't need any more snow before Thanksgiving.
So we are praying for no snow, Lord, no black ice. I
(26:37):
have a prius father, my car. Can I take snow? Can I
take sleet? Black, ice, hell, rain, heat or wind.
So please, I'm asking you todayfor weather grace and traveling mercy, no
car accidents on the way home.Praying for those who were in accidents this
(27:00):
morning. Lord, I just wanteverybody at the station and traveling home from
work to get this safely. Putthe salt down Chicago, Amen. I
love when we have guests come byand kick it with us and talk about
what they got going on in life. And today my man, Hannibal Burrs
aka Shue Tune is in the fieldand what's up? Man? So you
(27:22):
got something that's kicking off November second, Chicago Theater, Chicago Theater, November
second. Yeah, man, Nowwhat we got going on at Chicago Theater?
Man talk about Chicago Theater. Mandoing a full full comedy set there
and doing music set full band.Man, we got we got we rehearsing
four days. Man, yeah,we got in Sunday dance Woods and everything.
I'm like, you know what Igot? I might do something,
(27:44):
you know what I mean? Yougotta give people talk and get a little
dance, you know what I mean. I don't know if I go full
dance, but if I have somedances, you know how you just like
do like a little part. ButI'm a hype for the show man just
because I haven't. I haven't playedChicago Theatre in a minute, and I've
been I've been doing this showing somesmaller spots and so it's been dope to
do the combined show with the comedyand the music. It's been. It's
(28:07):
been a good energy. Yeah, last year I tried to stop doing comedy
with that. Did that makes sensefinancially? All right? I don't know
what I was doing with my overhead? How could I? Well? Would
I think I can stop? Now? Why I think I can stop?
Like non financially? No, thatdidn't work out. I have to.
I would have had to change mylife completely. It was. But no,
(28:29):
it's been fun man, because nowyou know the energy is there and
and I'm able to They both kindof complimented each other creatively and and just
don't so, Hannibal, where didthe name come from? Issue tune as
you came from? That? Sueis Nigerian mythology the tricks to God.
So I was trying to think ofa name and yeah, I look,
it's like the Black Loki exactly thesame, exactly same, just archetype Loki.
(28:56):
The question that I have for youis like, how hard is it
to get people to take you seriouslyabout the music? Because you're Hannibal Bush.
You establish yourself as a funny dude. You've established yourself or people have
a stabished you as the man thatgot cost trouble. And so now when
you do that and then they're like, oh, Hannibal is pulling our leg
(29:18):
this is a joke. I can'treally come back them. I can only
just do it at the highest levelthat I can do it, you know
what I mean, Because people don'thave that anyway. People have that with
me doing stand up. So it'sjust at a different phase. You know.
If you get back to stand upright, well, folks told me
don't do this one time. Soyeah, it's now. It's just getting
better and enjoying that and just appreciatingthe folks that's rocking with me right now.
(29:40):
And I got some dope musicians that'srocking with me, dope producers,
and it's been I can see theprogression in the music and in the writing,
and so I'm enjoying that last thing. Man, fo let you get
out of here. What is themold now far as stand up comedy for
you, man, because I knowyou're working on the music, but where
are you at now mentally when youwhen you're on stage doing that stand up
I've been really I've really locked inand and the material now is really grounded
(30:04):
too in real life, just talkingabout you know, grief and death like
my grandma passed, and also beinga father and and talking about the career
shift too. So it's I thinkit's for folks. This set has been
hidden because it's really it's more ofa it's a growner set, I think
than then than the other stuff.I've liked my other work, but some
(30:25):
of the other work was more Hey, I saw this thing, let's talk
about it. And now this isthis is feeling you. Yes, make
sure y'all check out my man,Hannibal Burrs. He's headlining the show at
the Chicago Theater November second. Whatcan it follow you at on Instagram Instagram

shelter. One of Chicago Suns.Hannibal Bird was stopping by Man we appreciate
you big down. You always thinand rock with us. Man just showed out.
