Skinny scarny. I know you like one day right now,
like right what the hell istis?

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Right?

Speaker 1 (00:12):
I guess you're about to see right now, wake wake up, wake.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
Up, wake up on Sicago soon in it turned up
and it's a GC.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
I want to show on seven five GC.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
You know the shouts number one fair pup and RB
one O seven five w GC I the shots number
one for hippop and R and B. It is the
best day in morning show in Chicago myself the that's
the legend. Leon Rodgers, brother, Zach Buog, what's had?

Speaker 1 (00:35):
What's happening?

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Good morning, hey man.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
Good Thursday morning man, Friday eve man. We got a
lot to get to today. But before we do that,
let's have a word of prayer because y'all need it.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
Hey man, it's me your boy Zach book, and it's
time for it the prayer of the day. And dear Lord,
I just want to let you know that this is
the people who run the airline hustle, especially with the
airline Southwest. We all know the the Southwest does not
have assigned seats. It's based off when you board the plane,
and the hustle used to be well, I need a

(01:07):
wheelchair because you know, the disabled in the wheelchair go first. Okay,
but they don't called on to your hustle because they
had a flight of two hundred people and one hundred
and thirty five negroes asks for a wheelchairs.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Now was it all those passed?

Speaker 1 (01:24):
No? Not just no, I'm not talking about good strong
black folks. When I say negroes, I can't say what
I really want to say. Ice can go with any rate. Okay,
this ain't just us, This is for you, for y'all
out here trying to hustle the system. Okay, everybody, everybody
need a wheelchair to get on. But y'all run off

(01:45):
the plane when you get to your destination. Well, Southwest
called on and now they are having assigned seats because
of y'all. Okay, so now you can run it. Yeah,
you're gonna get on the plane first, but guess what,
you're gonna get that seat that you paid for no
matter what. So I want you to know that I
know the scammers and the hustlers are coming up with
a new way to board the plane first, and probably

(02:07):
a way to even you know, get preferred seating and
not have to worry about the assigned seats. Whatever they do.
I know it's on the way, but I just asked
that y'all, you know, stop hustling the airline and just
just just upgrade like I do. I being bored and
see it first, and then I just pay a little
extra so I can board first. This we're asking your

(02:28):
money name Aymen, Hey man, ay man?

Speaker 2 (02:33):
Hey, whatever is your boy? Took upon?

Speaker 4 (02:35):
You already know I got one of my favorite co hosts, Amy,
But when they hut the truck wreck, Now, Amy, you
gotta tell Chicago GC.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
I want to show.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
I want to snubber one fipopa RB. Headlines are on
the way. Let's get to a Chicago give you the
latest update news across the country.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
This GCI one of th five w GC out of signs.
Number we hair, pop and RB coming up.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
In the headlines.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
Man, city leaders are set the vote today. I'll tell
you about what. All right, it's coming up. It's gcis
the leader.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
That started as you get your own.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
Check the news.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
It's time for the headlines, your.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
News coming from Chicago to worldwide.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
But to w GC il more on this show.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
All right, exactly, Remember I talked about the mayor having
his proposal shot down to tax more businesses in the
downtown area because a lot of aldermen in the city
feared that the businesses will leave.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Well.

Speaker 3 (03:52):
City leaders are set the vote today on a downtown
development plan. Okay, now, I'm designed to bring more business, transportation,
and entertainment over the twenty years on a project that's
expected to bring more than forty three billion in construction,
investment and development to downtown. According to proposal, the Central
Area Plan twenty forty five will span across seven point

(04:12):
four square miles in downtown Chicago, supporting what organizers say
is the fastest.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
Growing downtown in the country.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
So you can see why they don't want them to
be taxed. Housing entertainment options of future cta Madison Pink
Line station on the near west Side, a new office
of nighttime engagement to energize Chicago after dark, and repurposing
vacant and underutilized sites downtown to accommodate more than one
hundred million square feet of new construction with the goal

(04:41):
of creating over fifty thousand new jobs. So a gift
and a curse, you know, I wonder does that kind
of include that little stuff that's going on with the
soccer stadium, the new White Sox Stadium.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
What's the curse part? You think the gift.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
Is you're gonna have all them businesses and stuff down there,
But then the curve is like they don't want them
to be taxed. And you know, you see what I'm saying,
it's just like a tug of ward. Damn if you do,
damned if you don't. But maybe if it brings more
booming economy, we might not have to worry about that. Yeah, Zach,
you got a young little boy, man, I don't have

(05:16):
to worry about this so much. But all you all
that got kids that you're still buying toys too. They're
saying this year, do not get caught up and buying
artificial intelligent toys for children, so they're not safe. Children's
consumer and advocacy groups are saying that these toys are
not safe, and these toys are marketed to kids as

(05:37):
young as two years old. They're generally powered by AI
models that have already been shown to harm children and teenagers,
such as Open their Eyes Chat GPT, and according to
this study that one hundred and fifty organizations have signed
off on it. It said the serious that harms that
AI chatbots have inflicted on children are well documented, including

(06:00):
fostering of obsessive use, having explicit sexual conversations, and encouraging
unsafe behaviors, violence against others, and self harm.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
No, no, no, no, we're not doing that. No, my
son asked for a board game and the price card track. Yeah,
we doing stuff like that. It ain't gonna be that.

Speaker 3 (06:17):
So I and I and you know, I feel them
because as an adult, I had to cut you. You
to see me in here sometimes on the Sorra joint,
just doing silly stuff on there.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
But I understand that this is not real. It's not real.

Speaker 3 (06:30):
Well, I've read stories about what teenagers have jumped on
these apps and.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
They had a AI.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
Girlfriend, broke up with a fell out and killed themself
like crazy because they they really it'll talk to you
like it's a human being, like even when you ask
check GPT something.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
Your mind still developing that and you know what I'm saying,
it's just.

Speaker 3 (06:53):
That's that's something to look out look out for. Man,
that's something to think about. Yeah, man, all right, coming
up Leon's locker room. The bulls in a close last night,

Big Glow. She said she got something special. She said,
she said, I'll be doing an R and B album.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
WHOA said?

Speaker 1 (08:13):
She said, I will be doing an R and B album.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
So okay, so I hope maybe maybe she has the
talent we haven't said. I've never heard glow Realer saying, well,
I'm thinking she might be having a lot of R
and B artists.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
Yeah, maybe she's gonna have R and V oper on
it and she drop a verse.

Speaker 3 (08:29):
But it would be pleasant if if we didn't know
she had a hidden talent, that she go a note.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
Are you sure think that she don't? She don't pronounce
some words.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
But you know what people saying, it's different because you
have people with accents and stuff.

Speaker 1 (08:48):
I would hurt. I'm with it. I love a big glow.

Speaker 3 (08:55):
If she bust out and be like you need to
get it, I'd be like, hey, okay.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
But then think about it if it is just if
she has artists feature, think about her songs that she
has with R and be honest, go crazy, T pain
and all. Either way she go go greats.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
We know she could do on the she can go

Speaker 1 (09:13):
Yes, she got the gonple on there. You know, so
I would like that.

Speaker 2 (09:16):
I would.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
It would be a shock to me if she if
she came on she had pipes and could sing, I'd
be like, hey, that'll just make me more of a fan.

Speaker 1 (09:23):
She might debut with big Jam, So you need to
go home on tickets because you never know what might happen. Also, man,
I'm gonna get into this. Trump signed the bill to
release the Epstein files to say. He put up a
post on social media on Wednesday night last night that
he signed the Jeffrey Epstein files all right, and you
know he keeps saying that it's a big distraction. Now

(09:44):
since they've been filed, the Justice Department has thirty days
to release the materials. Okay, so since he signed it,
what Wednesday, I think they got until December nineteenth for
the files to be released.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
Dog. The stage stuff is so crazy right now.

Speaker 1 (10:02):
It's like, now, here's the thing. It's unclear when or
whether the public will ever see the fires Act or
how complete they might be, as the bill that they
signed includes several exceptions, so we don't know, so it
could complicate it or delayed, or then they may not
release everything.

Speaker 3 (10:22):
If he said if he's said, hey, I'm gonna allow
everybody to see this right now, they done redacted what
they wanted to out of, they done marked it up.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
Yeah, we'll see because but.

Speaker 3 (10:32):
Wasn't it wasn't that the one that I'm talking about him.

because I feel like I'm at my breaking point. My
man has been going to that damn casino again.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
Come on now.

Speaker 1 (13:40):
Every time I think he's done with it, he sneaks
right back. And it's not just little money. This time
he lost our money, bill money, grocery money, the money
I've been saving for emergencies. He keeps saying he's got
a system and he's one win away from making everything back.
But I'm tired of hearing that. I'm tired of covering
for him. I'm tired of looking stupid. We've already talked

(14:02):
about this, argued about this, cried about this, and he
keeps doing it. Anyway, I love him, but I'm starting
to feel like he loves gambling more than he loves
our stability. I'm scared he's gonna dig us in a
hole we can't climb out of. Part of me wants
to leave before things get worse, But then another part
of me wonders if I'm abandoning him when he clearly
needs help. I just don't know what to do anymore?

(14:24):
Am I wrong for being ready to walk away?

Speaker 2 (14:27):
Oh? This is a good one.

Speaker 3 (14:29):
It's two sides ever story though, A six six eight
A five one seven five hit us up?

Speaker 2 (14:34):
What should this young lady do with.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
This world?

Speaker 5 (14:50):
Man?

Speaker 1 (14:51):
GC?

Speaker 2 (14:51):
I who this where? You check it in?

Speaker 1 (14:53):
From? What's up? We all man show man from up north? Man?

Speaker 2 (14:56):
All right, brother, what's your lady doing this situation?

Speaker 3 (15:00):
She tripped man dude, so he was one went away
from winners, little wizz.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
If she wins, there was she donna want some of
the piece of the park, right, Yeah, Let that man
go to casino.

Speaker 3 (15:12):
Man doing some thing.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
Man, That's what I'll be doing.

Speaker 1 (15:14):
I don't get in a hole like that, all right?

Speaker 3 (15:17):
One on seven five w GC the shots number one
form here prop and r B with smack Dad in
the middle of love him a leave him little gambling
stuff going on?

Speaker 1 (15:25):
Yeah, man. Lady basically wrote in and said her husband
is back at it again going to the casino and
then she and this time he lost bill money, grocery
money and all of that, and I saved up for emergencies.
So she's thinking like she's ready to you know, she
was like, he obviously has the problem, but she thought
he was over it and she ready to lead this time.
Or she feels like she's staying help.

Speaker 3 (15:47):
A six six eight A five one o seven five.
Let's go to the phone line. Who this way you
check it in from this breed.

Speaker 5 (15:55):
I think it's going on exactly like she said, she
should give him a concrete and solid aultimatum. I know
adults don't like ortimatum, but he's jeopardizing not only his
likelihood also hurts. He needs to get some counseling asap,
or she needs to just bounce.

Speaker 2 (16:13):
Fact.

Speaker 1 (16:13):
Of course it's a pazard.

Speaker 5 (16:15):
It's a patard.

Speaker 2 (16:16):
Okay, that's what you call love. Thank you, Yeah, Zach.

Speaker 3 (16:21):
I think if it comes to the point where you're
burning up build money and stuff, that's something you need
to check into. But I know guys that gamble, whether
it be fan do what be on the apps with
the sports betting, going to the racetrack, going to the casino,
and they had the fells where they lose.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
Because that's what happened. I got a homie that he
played cards. That's all he do.

Speaker 3 (16:41):
But when he hit, not only do he get his
money back, but it's time six or seven, he chill
out for a while, he stopped going to the casino.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
I watched him hit for a couple hundred thousand playing poker.
That's what he do.

Speaker 3 (16:54):
And I think she gotta determine. She got to really
figure out what's what? Does he have a problem or
she just a gambler?

Speaker 1 (17:02):
I got a problem? Who lost them everything man, time
and time? And then he got a cry with his
girl and tell her I banned myself from the casino
to this time had to go band itself from casino.
He might have a problem, though, But I'm saying it's
a slippery slope. It is. It's a slippery slope, and
it's hard to tell problem versus uh, this is what

(17:22):
you do for your to make your money. That's a
tough problem.

Speaker 3 (17:26):
Is they going and if you see your savings dwindling
and they going into the bill money, because the first
thing you gotta do is take care home. You should
never spend mortgage all that. If they're going into that,
you need some help. You need some But the sad
thing about it is when they hit and they cover
that for the next year, year and a.

Speaker 1 (17:44):
But then if you lost the bill, you should still
have you should still have a little bank for you
know what I'm saying. But if you losing it, we
ain't got it this month because you scambled it.

Speaker 3 (17:51):
That's a problem, right, So I would yeah, I would
sit them down some help sit them down, and Trum saying, look, man,
I'm not comfortable with this, and if you won't need
to stick around, we're gonna have to work something out
maybe or give him a set budget. You can have
this like when I go to it. When I go
to Vegas with my wife, she say, you can do
this in the casino. Once that's gone, come back and seleneon,

(18:13):
come eat this buffet. You ain't going back in that casina.
Nothing wrong with that little buffety we're talking about.

Speaker 1 (18:22):
We hope we helped you, but if we didn't buy the.

Speaker 3 (18:25):
Bee anymoy let come chickings out w g c ir

Speaker 2 (18:31):
All right, man, coming up, Leon's goofy ass person of
the day.

Speaker 1 (18:35):
Who will it be?

Speaker 2 (18:36):
Keep it locked a g I.

Speaker 1 (18:44):
Work might check one so one.

Speaker 3 (18:56):
So if we are goofyehr just that time of the
day that everybody loves one person's gonna be absolutely pissed.
It's Leon's goofy ass person out the dead world. I
saw this story coming out of Dallas Regional Medical Hospital
in Mesquite, Texas. A young woman sitting in a chair
in a waiting room in a waiting area, and you

(19:19):
could see she's an obvious pain, like in agony. Well,
she's pregnant, and she's like, hey, this baby coming and
I need to get in my water broke this baby coming. Meanwhile,
lady just sitting at her computer when the last time
he's pregnant. This is, this is this made her wait
for thirty minutes. Wow, this woman went through this pain

(19:41):
as soon as they got her on the bed and
took it in the back. Baby was born twelve minutes later.

Speaker 1 (19:45):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (19:46):
Now imagine if she'd have been out there ten minutes longer,
that baby would have been born in the waiting room. Hospitals,
y'all gotta do better. That gotta be some way that
you can put the woman on the bed, get into
some room, get us something for the pain out. She
feels that out because you ain't in your night right
mind anyway, I didn't remember when I sliced my hand open.

Speaker 2 (20:07):
I went to the doc and they was asking me questions.

Speaker 1 (20:09):
I'm like, hey, let's fix the hand.

Speaker 2 (20:11):
I will bleed all over this floor.

Speaker 3 (20:13):
I will let this go. And you can see how
much I get me somewhere. At least just stopped the
bleeding first, y'all. I give you my insurance stuff with
all that wife here, but please, I can only imagine
being pregnant and a whole human.

Speaker 2 (20:26):
It's like, hey, I'm coming outside. I'm tired of being
in here. You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (20:31):
I know women get these things called epidurals in their
back and they have to be delivered at a certain
time because after a certain time that they just have
to come natural, right, And that's what happened to my wife.

Speaker 2 (20:41):
They kept telling me, you're not ready, You're not ready.
She's like, Yo, this baby's coming.

Speaker 1 (20:45):
But they ignore a lot of black women's pain in hospitals.
I've seen it.

Speaker 5 (20:50):
So are you?

Speaker 3 (20:51):
Are you people that work in the administration of these hospitals, Man,
do better and get these women in here and get
them service.

Speaker 2 (20:58):
That sit your goo fast now. Scooby Speaker.

it off with the game man rap of the game.
He admitted leon that he he loses sleep from the
guilt of dealing and sleeping with women that he has
no real intentions for. He said this when he was

(21:44):
doing that podcast. I think with Kirk Franklin. They were
sitting at the round table. You know, when you get
around Kirk, you start talking. And he said, you know,
earlier in his twenties and his thirties, he felt no
guilt dealing with women and you know, being then. But
he said, now he lives with guilt. Can't do it
like he like he used to.

Speaker 3 (22:05):
As you get older, you know, certain things happen. You
started realizing the mistakes you made in the past and
correct him.

Speaker 2 (22:13):
It's a sign of growth. Yeah, so hats off to him.

Speaker 1 (22:16):
You entertaining women, has no real intentions for it, just
I'm smashing and dashing.

how you get when you get in front of Kirk? Yeah,
I just be feeling guilty. You know you don't He
