Dear Lord, I want to take this time to pray
for all the adults who take care of their children parents. Man,
so I want to take I want to pray for
all the adults who take care of their children parents.
It comes a point in time where you're your parent,
when you're when you're an adult, where your parents get older,
and as they get older they become one of your children.

(01:27):
They start to lose stuff. Come on, they don't know technology.

and make sure they made it to their destination.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
Okay, And at the I'm.

Gonna give you all a quick example. My father said, hey, Zach,
I need you to give me an Uber. Said what time?

Speaker 4 (01:47):
Daddy?

Speaker 1 (01:48):
He told me the time said seven forty five, get
me the Uber. I understand that. Okay, he ain't got
Uber on his phone. He on our work his phone
like that, I'm the son. I can do that for you.
I get him to Uber seven forty five, seven fifty one,
I get a I get a get a notification that
the uber has been canceled, that I have a canceled

(02:09):
feet No, it was twenty fives. Oh so then, oh
my god, yes it was so. Then he comes back
and say, I called him. I said, why you ain't
get the uber?

Speaker 6 (02:20):
He said, Oh, that was the dogs sitting out there.
They don't jump, he said. I said, they came a
little early. I ain't know what was down that sitting
out there. And then I and then I thought they
came to the door. They ain't honked the horn nothing.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (02:38):
So no, so this is funny because you walked out.
You walked out the room a little yeah, a little irritated.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
You're a big bad yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
Because I'm now paying more money for a simple this
has become a fifty dollars expense. So I say this
to say, I pray for all the adults who have
to take care of their children and.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
I'm not gonna know nothing. Oh oh oh okay, they'd
be so confused. And then it's your fault. Yeah, then
it's my faults.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
And then the week before that I had to send
him he had to get something notarized.

Speaker 4 (03:17):
I remember that.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
How you get the paper off, the printed out, how
you downloaded off download the paper.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
Don't worry about it. I'll print it out.

Speaker 4 (03:26):
I get it.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
So this we yea.

Speaker 5 (03:32):
Be yes, sir man coming up in the headlines. Man,
we're gonna talk about it. What's going on in Chicago?
Shoot shake the news.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
It's time for the headlines.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Your news coverage from Chicago, so worldwide.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
But to w and gc IL Morning Show.

Speaker 5 (03:55):
A weird story coming out of Wheeling, Illinois. A woman
is suspected have given THC candy to at least four
children's Sunday at a park in that north suburbs.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
She's going to jail.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
Happened around three thirty pm. Uh.

Speaker 5 (04:10):
They said four children had become ill at the park
after eating candy handed out by an unknown woman. All
of them were taken to a hospital, where one tested
positive for THC, a psychoacical compound final cannabis. So they
police searched the park and found a THC milk chocolate product.

Speaker 4 (04:28):
Suspect is described.

Speaker 5 (04:29):
As a woman between the edge of fifty and sixty
years of age. Wow, with a blue cross tattoo on
her shoulder, wearing a blue and white leather jacket. Wow.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
So she giving kids the gummies and that it's lift.
Come on, man, she's going to jail. This reminds me
of that story where that lady was giving given jello shots.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
She went to jail for that and got fined.

Speaker 4 (04:49):
She got some time too, like they didn't play with
her in the head like.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
Four fo Yeah, you gave jello shots to shots to ba.

Speaker 4 (05:01):
Look.

Speaker 5 (05:01):
US and Chinese officials say they have reached the deal
to slash most of their recent terriffs and called for
a ninety day pause for ongoing negotiations. So the US
agreed to drop is one hundred and forty five percent
tariff rate on Chinese goods by one hundred and fifteen
percentage points to thirty percent, while China agreed the lowest
rate on US goods by the same amount, to ten percent.

(05:24):
So what are we going so now? So now if
you want to order that.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
Couch that I've been trying to order.

Speaker 5 (05:29):
Trying to get, it won't be two hundred and thirty
five when you put it in the cart when that starts.
If it was one hundred, it'll probably only be one
hundred and thirty five.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
Now, so we got thirty percent charge.

Speaker 4 (05:38):
Now, well they dropped it.

Speaker 5 (05:40):
So America dropped there's from one forty five to one fifteen,
and China lowered theirs by the same amount. But now
it's only a ten percent and increased on the stuff.

Speaker 4 (05:51):
So so before it was before it was higher. Now
they only hitting me in the head for ten percent.

Speaker 3 (05:58):
Okay, see how this works out.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
I just want to go back. When it's coming to effect,
I get my cap.

Speaker 4 (06:03):
Well, it's a it's a ninety day pause in that
trade ward, so run go go get it now, Go
get it now, go get it now, go get it,
get up sheen, and then go get it down.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
That's great.

Speaker 5 (06:15):
Go to w GCI dot com for these stories and
more coming up. Man NBA playoffs. Some people finna go home.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
I all you need to know in sports.

Speaker 5 (06:43):
I'm just here so I won't get found inside Leons
locker room. I want to super g Yes, sir. NBA
actually was fantastic over the weekend. The Celtics, they grab
a game, they blow out the next one fifteen to
ninety three. That series is now two to one, going
in the game for a Timbers and Warriors. Timberwolves get
the ups on the Warriors who don't have Steph Curry

(07:04):
one O two to ninety seven. Uh, that's Game three. Minneapolis.
Minnesota leads that series to the one going in the
game for and it doesn't look like Steph might not
be coming back. Yeah, Like when they talk to him,
you kind of hear it in his voice, like, man's
his hamstring ain't working. I ain't what I used to be.

Speaker 4 (07:22):
The thunderbeat the Nuggets ninety two to eighty seven.

Speaker 5 (07:24):
That Sitties just tied two to two Cavaliers and Pacers.
Now the Pacers get to win one twenty nine to
one O nine, But that wasn't the story. They leave
the series three to one. The story was Pacers was
almost part of another brawl. Like you know, they're famous
for the malice in the Palace, but in this one,

(07:44):
players got to shoving each other. And I wonder if
the guy from Indianapolis gonna be suspended for a game?

Speaker 3 (07:50):
Yeah, I think he will.

Speaker 4 (07:51):
Through the punch, Yeah, punch got in the chest.

Speaker 1 (07:53):
I think if you throw a punch in the NBA,
you getting suspended at least a game yep, and maybe more.

Speaker 4 (07:58):
Yep.

Speaker 5 (07:58):
So tonight us are on the slate tonight on Monday.
There's two the Celtics and the Knicks and the Timberwolves.

Speaker 4 (08:06):
Versus the Warriors.

Speaker 5 (08:07):
You got, I got Celtics even in that series out
yep to to and then I got the Timberwolves beating
the Warriors.

Speaker 4 (08:14):
I think they're gonna get him up out of here.
I think, without without faking.

Speaker 5 (08:18):
Speaking of the Warriors, Draymond Green went off. Now this
was just so funny to me.

Speaker 4 (08:23):
Draymond Green says, and I quote, I'm I'm not an
angry black man. I'm a successful, educated black man with
a great family, and I'm great at basketball. The agenda
to make me look like an angry black man, it's ridiculous.
Now people ask, well, why would you laugh, Lee, Well,
here's why I would laugh.

Speaker 5 (08:39):
I don't think. I don't think Draymond Green is an
angry black man. I think he's a black man that
plays basketball a certain way and he happens to be angry.

Speaker 4 (08:51):
If you can understand what I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (08:52):
I don't think Draymond goes around every day terrorizing people.
But on that court he becomes a different dude. I mean,
Draymond oak RUI go bear your elbow, nurky in the face,
you kick people in the testicles.

Speaker 4 (09:06):
Yeah, you are a different dude on the court, and.

Speaker 3 (09:09):
That ain't got to do it.

Speaker 4 (09:11):
You know.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
I'm first one to say, Hey, the media trying to
get your No, it's huge.

Speaker 3 (09:17):
It's you and Jery Bond. It ain't the media.

Speaker 5 (09:20):
I ain't saying you slapping nobody over the last piece
of chicken, but you're a wild boy or the basketball court.

go off of.

Speaker 4 (10:54):
Now.

Speaker 1 (10:55):
They do have sketches, they got media in the courtroom,
but you can't record in a federal case, and then
they have to so you got to go by the script.

Post on Spiritual World shout out to our people's Spiritual
War World. They reposted a tweet from she Na. From
she Na and I want to bring this to the radio.
All right, so check this out. This is what the
post says. It says, my man told me that he
didn't make plans for me on Mother's Day since I'm

(17:50):
not the mother of his kids. But mind you, I
do have kids and I am a mother. Am I
supposed to be offended? Or or am I looking at
this situation wrong? He went out of his way to
get his baby mama something, but didn't plan on getting
me anything.

Speaker 3 (18:08):
I might be losing my because this can't be real.
So is she wrong? Her and the guy don't have
kids together, but they're seeing each other.

Speaker 1 (18:19):
But he went all out for his baby mother and
then but he was like, you know, he ain't got
no kids, so I ain't I believe to celebrate Mother's
Day with you?

Speaker 3 (18:28):
Six six hands up.

Speaker 4 (18:31):
It's up, man, this is a good one.

Speaker 3 (18:33):
She see I I used to think about you.

Speaker 7 (18:47):
Good morning, taking it in from the south side. Okay,
well I'm outside like that now. I'm not this guy.

Speaker 3 (18:54):
She was just mom.

Speaker 7 (18:55):
But he did buy me some stuff for Mother's Day yesterday,
so I don't know. I'm just like, I mean, he's
not obligate you too, But if you're seeing him like that,
and y'all been seeing each other for a while, and
then I think he should be nice and get it something,
even if it's just some roses or something.

Speaker 5 (19:12):
Okay, just think about think of it, the thoughts, the
thought that count.

Speaker 3 (19:16):
Yes, did your guy have other kids?

Speaker 7 (19:19):
He does, He have three children. They don't want all
our children are grown. But still he's still bother me something.
He sings you know he didn't ask food. I wasn't
repenting on him too, but he's in and I was
just like, okay, so if you get him something for
positive there.

Speaker 3 (19:32):
Now watch it.

Speaker 1 (19:32):
If he didn't, would you have an attitude if he
didn't acknowledge you nothing?

Speaker 7 (19:36):
I mean, if he had just told me happy Mother's Day,
I would have been okay with that.

Speaker 3 (19:40):
But what if he didn't.

Speaker 6 (19:44):
Won't the truth do something with that because that means
you didn't think about me at all?

Speaker 4 (19:54):
So yeah, what say, I just want you to be evil?
But what if it did?

Speaker 7 (20:02):
I know I can't listen see your party. I cannot wait.

Speaker 3 (20:06):
Come on, come on down, I'm coming see you all
all right now? Thank you?

Speaker 5 (20:11):
Yes, that's number one for hairpop and R and B
with a smack dad in the middle of love them
or leave him?

Speaker 4 (20:17):
A young lady of feeling slighted on Mother's Day.

Speaker 1 (20:21):
Yes, so basically we're we got this from spiritual World, right,
And they put up a post where she said, my
man told me that he didn't make plans for me
on Mother's Day since I'm not the mother of his kids.
But mind you, I do have kids and I am
a mother. Am I supposed to be offended or am
I looking at this situation wrong? Uh, here's the thing.

(20:44):
Even though he's not obligated to, you got to. If
you're dealing with a mom and it's Mother's Day and
she's a mom, whether it's a mother to your kids
or not, you still have to sell.

Speaker 3 (20:54):
You have you have to do something for it. That's
the woman that you're with.

Speaker 4 (20:57):
So what so okay? But what what level? What level?

Speaker 5 (21:00):
So if he just bought her, if he bought he
a card with let's just say fifty dollars and say
Happy Mother's Day, would that be.

Speaker 4 (21:07):
Enough for her? I don't know.

Speaker 1 (21:08):
That depends on what I'm saying. That depends on the
lady though, But you you don't. I'm not trying to
qualify it yet, but you have to acknowledge the mother.
If you're dealing with a mother.

Speaker 4 (21:18):
Yeah, but I just got I just got say nothing.

Speaker 5 (21:22):
But if you just say hey, carl to say hey,
happy Mother's Day, and I don't think that would be enough.

Speaker 1 (21:28):
And that's the womp, that's the warmth. That's the person
that you're sleeping with. If you's sleeping with this woman,
she's not the mother your kids. I understand that, But
I'm asking, are you sleeping with this woman rather, I
don't know, in a relationship with the.

Speaker 3 (21:39):
Woman that's a mother and it's Mother's.

Speaker 1 (21:42):
Day, you got to do something for her happy Mother's Day,
more than just happy Mother's Day. You gotta give her,
like you said, a card, some flowers. You gotta do
something but you with her.

Speaker 4 (21:51):
But then if she look and see that you did
for the mother of your children more than her, it's
still gonna be a problem.

Speaker 3 (21:57):
I don't know that you see what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (21:59):
I guess, I guess. I don't know. I don't know
what it is.

Speaker 5 (22:01):
Like. Of course you you should acknowledge it, but like,
let's just say they only been dating for six months.
It's like you go all out for her for Mother's
Day and then y'all break up before Father's Like it's like,
I'm just saying.

Speaker 1 (22:15):
Like you should have this signment on which on how
far to go based off the relationship.

Speaker 3 (22:20):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (22:21):
If y'all been together three months, I don't expect you to,
you know, bring out the world, but you still have
to acknowledge it. If you're sleeping with a mama, Happy
Mother's Day, you gotta do more than just happy mother.
That's an acknowledgement though, because I'm gonna let you know,
happy Mother's Day. It's Father's Day and I'm a father
and you and you and you sleeping with me and
you don't say nothing to me about it.

Speaker 3 (22:39):
I'mn'a have a problem with that.

Speaker 5 (22:40):
Wouldn't bother if we if we early in relationship and
you didn't, you didn't acknowledge me For'sday.

Speaker 4 (22:45):
I don't care.

Speaker 5 (22:45):
I don't have any children, but that's just me now,
my if my ex didn't acknowledge me on Father's Day,
I'd have a problem with that because we made the babies.

Speaker 4 (22:54):
Make no babies with you?

Speaker 3 (22:55):
So you at with the X y'all X. You might
hate Hey, damn, I don't want to help anyway.

Speaker 5 (23:00):
Lease, we hope we helped you, but we did we
never fifty six right now fires skyes at fifty nine degrees.
It's GC I. What's one of the best on's on trying?
It's the w G c I on the show Let's
go some w G No More flip Hop and r

You're not what they say you are, but you are that.

(23:24):
I'll let you know who I'm talking about. That's coming
up with I go and Love Love Love one O
seventy five w g C shows number one for here
popping on be coming up Leon's goofy ass person of
the day.

Speaker 4 (23:37):
No, you're not what they say you are, but you are.

Speaker 3 (23:41):
G Mike sat One so one.

Speaker 4 (23:47):
So it's Leon goofy people just that time of the
day that everybody loves.

Speaker 5 (23:53):
One person gonna be absolutely pissed. Its Leon's goofy ass
person under dead one. Hey, Draymond Green, he said in
the press conversations, you're tired of the media portraying you
as an angry black man.

Speaker 4 (24:03):
No, Dramond, No, I'm not gonna let you get away
with that one, Okay.

Speaker 5 (24:07):
I don't think you go around smacking folks and Thanksgiving
just because somebody ate the last of the dressing.

Speaker 3 (24:13):
No.

Speaker 5 (24:13):
I don't think he cuts out the paper boy because
he missed your porch in the paper landed in the grass. No,
I don't think you step on ants just because they there.
I don't think you're angry like that. But when you're
on the basketball court, you angry as hell, and you
just happen to be a black man. Nobody that elbows
people in the face, chokes people out, punches.

Speaker 4 (24:36):
Teammates in the eye. You can't say you ain't angry,
but it just only activates on the basketball.

Speaker 5 (24:44):
Rudy Gobert, Rudy Gobert is traumatized about you. He ain't
gonna say nothing to you. Jordan Poole still look at
his face like, man, Buddy socked me in the eye.

Speaker 2 (24:54):
Right.

Speaker 5 (24:55):
I wouldn't say you're angry black man, but on the
back you're an angry black basketball player. That you are, sir,
and nothing's gonna change that. So for you to sit
up on the podium and act like I'm tuning, everybody
looking at me like I'm crazy, well, stop doing crazy stuff.

Speaker 4 (25:10):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (25:10):
Our eyes just don't close when you're on the basketball court.
We'd be like man if he elbowed him in the
jaw on the Queen Mike still on you outside of this,
but nobody knows.

Speaker 4 (25:21):
So dra Mind.

Speaker 2 (25:22):
I love you, man, I love you.

Speaker 5 (25:23):
You're very You're necessary to the NBA. Yeah, but sit
your goofast down, scoofy as people.

Speaker 3 (25:33):
GC your money.

Speaker 1 (25:42):
One of seventy five w GC out of shots number
one for hip hop and R and B. She boy
zach Buok, let's talk about this. Huge shout out to
Jasmine Brown. Now, you know Jasmin Brown was a well
I think she still is comedian. You know, she's also
Cam Newton's Newton's girlfriend been on wilding out all of that. Well,

(26:03):
she's pregnant again. Second, yeah, shout out to smart woman.

Speaker 4 (26:10):
He thinks.

Speaker 1 (26:10):
So, yeah, okay, I'm just locked in now. Yeah, yeah,
that's that's true. He two kids in, two kids in,
and they seem like they have a relation, a good
relationship and a good understanding. Also, man, let's talk about this.
Kanye is at it again. He sent he sent a
ceasing assist to Kim Kardashian. All right, and it's been

(26:32):
online talking about Northwest personal issues.

Speaker 3 (26:37):
He was going off. He was talking about he'll go
to war for the kids.

Speaker 1 (26:40):
He said that Kim is leaving uh left, said that
Kim left North in the car unattended for.

Speaker 3 (26:48):
A little while while she was in the mech Yala.

Speaker 1 (26:50):
And then he started talking about some issues that I
guess some health issues that North was going through.

Speaker 4 (26:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (26:57):
Yeah, so he's doing a lot, but telling that online
man that's crazy.

Speaker 1 (27:01):
Stop doing that, man, Stop the battle online when it
comes to these children. You know why, because the children
are old enough to read everything you saying and hear everything.
To stop that man, you know what I'm saying. So
so he's saying taking other cord about it, so we'll
see what happens. It's very selfish. I never have a
problem with a man fighting for his kids he feels wrong.

(27:23):
But all that on the internet stuff is crazy to me,
you know, even the wild stuff he's been saying about
her before. He was like, I should have married I
don't know why I married Kim. I should have married,
pairs healing and all of that.

Speaker 3 (27:35):
Yay, come on, bro, get yourself together many I don't
get it. Tighten up.

Speaker 1 (27:40):
Your kids are watching this, that's that's the biggest thing.
And then what we think your children know?

Speaker 5 (27:45):
What about the internet? It never goes away, Yes, that's
always that. You can come back, pull it up whenever, whenever.

Speaker 3 (27:51):
So these stories and more, you know what to do.

Speaker 1 (27:54):
Head over WGCI dot comment right now, here's a chance
for you to get hooked up with a thousand bucks.

Speaker 3 (27:59):
It's gc I, how on how did you pay?

Speaker 4 (28:06):
You gotta get it go get it one.

Speaker 5 (28:09):
On seventy five w g C, I has your chance
to win one thou one On seven five w g
C shows number one for hippopp and R and B
A Chicago was sounding off to day what we got cookings.

Speaker 1 (28:21):
I just want to know when somebody says I saw
this going on a few times a few of my partners,
does I'm not ready for a relationship really mean?

Speaker 4 (28:32):
Just not with you?

Speaker 3 (28:35):
Damn, That's what I'm not ready for a relationship really mean?

Speaker 1 (28:40):
Does that mean like you're truly not ready, like you
know I'm saying, I really just I'm not ready. I
got a lot of things going on in my life.
I'm trying to hit a certain goal at the point
in my life. Or does I'm not ready relationship? It's
just a nice way of saying not with your ad.

Speaker 5 (28:58):
Or another one. Here's another one. I'm not ready for
a relationship means I like this little this little thing
we got going on here like that, and I don't
want to turn it into nothing serious.

Speaker 1 (29:09):
Basically, I don't want to. I don't see myself whatever
the same thing. I don't see myself going further. We
can smash, but that's it. I don't see myself going
further with you. Yeah, that's what I want to know, Chicago.
What I'm not for a relationship really mean?

Speaker 4 (29:21):
Because I know a couple of people. If they say
that that they dirt. Man, So I get it.

Speaker 5 (29:26):
But I know a couple I do know a couple
of people that really want to get themself together before
they take.

Speaker 4 (29:31):
On a wife or a girl.

Speaker 7 (29:32):
See.

Speaker 1 (29:33):
And that's that's what I think is a myth. Yeah,
that's what I think. It's a complete myth.

Speaker 3 (29:37):
Do Yeah.

Speaker 1 (29:37):
I don't believe people when they say, oh, I'm not
I'm not ready for a relationship. I think it always
means just not with you. I don't so I don't
think so, I don't. I think that they just don't
want to be with your ass.

Speaker 5 (29:48):
I know a guy that he said, listen, I not
where I want to be at. I can't take you
and do everything that I want to do with you personally.
But but I'm working to that and if you work
with me, not a girl didn't stay, she wouldn't ended
updating somebody else. But he really was on that man.
Like there's some people that just you know, I want

(30:09):
to be able to take care of my girl and
all that, and they can't.

Speaker 1 (30:11):
So I think in twenty twenty five, when they say
I'm not ready, they captain.

Speaker 5 (30:17):
I think if a woman says that she cat, I
think I don't think if I don't think of a
god's captain.

Speaker 4 (30:22):
Both guys are just ghost you if they don't.

Speaker 5 (30:25):
Want to be bothered. You don't get no phone calls
back or now. But I think if a woman say
that she capping, because women know what they want, like
women have to tell anybody man.

Speaker 3 (30:35):
Old women say I'm not ready for a relationship, they
don't not with you.

Speaker 4 (30:39):
They just don't be with you.

Speaker 3 (30:41):
A six six eighty five.

Speaker 4 (30:44):
One of them's up.

Speaker 7 (30:47):

Speaker 3 (30:54):

Speaker 2 (31:03):

Speaker 4 (31:03):
Who this where you're checking in from? This is?

Speaker 1 (31:06):
And I I'm calling from the west side.

Speaker 5 (31:08):
You're not checking in from the west side. So what
do you think when somebody says I'm not ready for
a relationship. Are they're saying they really want to get
their life together?

Speaker 3 (31:16):
Or it's just not with you, baby, It's not it's you,
it's you women.

Speaker 7 (31:22):
It don't even come from women because women got a
bad problem of seeing the potential in a man.

Speaker 5 (31:27):
So we'll take a chance.

Speaker 7 (31:28):
But if a man tell you he's not already baby,
he's just all ready to do it with you.

Speaker 3 (31:33):
He don't like you like that, I'm telling you I don't.

Speaker 4 (31:36):
Like you like that. Focused on yourself, sweetheart.
