Speaker 1 (00:03):
One on seven five WGC of shots number one for
hip hop and R and B. It's time for your
Z Spot Entertainment Report. What Happened to Wendy Williams? You know,
they came out this weekend on Lifetime and it was
just so many heartbreaking moments within the entire documentary. Man
Wendy Williams's son spoke about Wendy being diagnosed diagnosed with

(00:27):
alcohol induce dementia. You know, last time we talked about
it on Friday, we were saying she had dementia, but
it was actually alcohol induced dementia and the family became
aware of her condition fall of twenty twenty two.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Do we have any audio on that, Ryan, Let's play that.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
I was able to really learn more about things going
on with my mother internally. They basically said that because
she was drinking so much, they saw a headspace center
days mighty learn.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
They said it was alcohol in the nitia.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
Yeah, you heard that, alcohol induced dementia. I didn't even
know that was the thing, man, right now, I didn't,
And you know, I guess you drink drinking so much.
You know, Whendy had lost her my mother, she lost
her husband, end her career, and that that whole husband
thing that was just bad.

Speaker 4 (01:20):
That was at the beginning of the of the other
end of the empire. Man, was everything she went through
with that dude.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
And man, that that was crazy. Yeah, it really was.
And I think that was the thing that we actually
over the top. Well that was the thing that we saw.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
You know, we saw her losing the husband, that was
the public thing, but her losing her mom might have
been as detrimental, you know what I'm saying, But we
just didn't necessarily actually see that one up on him.

Speaker 4 (01:45):
Well it just goes to show you, Zach, like we
always look at celebrities and be like they rich, state,
they got money and all that. And let me tell
you something, Man, money, more money, more problems.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
Yeah, it can be, yes, for sure, for sure. Now
I always say I wanted so I won't bring on
the problem.

Speaker 4 (02:02):
Bring on the problem. But you don't know what you
can't control what the problems.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
That's true.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
That's true. Also, I thought this was real interesting. In
the documentary, her son Kevin was speaking about not letting
his mother go back to work after he was prioritizing
her health. So basically, when she was sick, he her.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
And the family.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
Him and the family decided to take her to Florida,
you know, for her to get to recover and get
back get better.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
But the show, the Wendy Williams Show, wanted her back.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
Once they saw that she was taking longer than they expected,
they were like, oh, she's got to come back.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
And you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
And it just showed how she give her life to
this show, and they probably they prioritizing money well over
her health.

Speaker 4 (02:44):
We know what that, you know, I mean, that's I mean,
if you take a look at NFL athletes, basketball players,
you heard eye your injured because if you hurt, you
can play. If your injured, you can't. So it's always
gonna be about the bottom line before it's about your health.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
And that's crazy.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
You're gonna throw somebody on television who's not ready, you know,
battling mental I mean, going through dementia, and you're just
gonna throw them on air.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
That's crazy to me. It's really sad, man, It's really sad.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
Even she when she was talking about her son Kevin,
she talked about.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
How much she loved alcohol.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Within the documentary, I mean, it's it's so many layers
to this. I really want you all to check it out.

cost me nothing.

Speaker 4 (03:25):

because we know if you gotta pay for it, you.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
You wouldn't have watched it. It wouldn't have been watched.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
Or I called le let me see it, let me
let me get your passwords.

Speaker 4 (03:39):
Just gave this old compassionate think about that.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
This is terrible.

Speaker 4 (03:43):
I pay for them.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
I heard his second hand. But no, I do think
y'all should check it out on a series not man.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
Wendy Williams is still a legend, man, And it doesn't
even though she's in a bad condition right now, doesn't
take away, you know, what she's added to this industry.
