The Random Wrestling Review and its sister shows bring you an explicit mess of in-depth wrestling analysis and puerile humour. The main show focuses on a single event from any point in history and breaks it down crudely and with no apologies. RWR Now focusses on events currently taking place in wrestling. The Game is a quiz series featuring regular guests on the panel battling out to show their supremacy over one another. BracketMania sees the crew whittle 16 down to 1 in pursuit of finding the best of any given category and there a number of bonus and special episodes about a plethora of other things. We have covered topics and shows dating from 1984 through to the present day from a variety of promotions including WWE, WCW, AEW, ECW, NWA, NXT and AWA, so there is bound to be something you like when you join Tinky, Old Man, Tom, Stephen, Matt, Alex and other guests as they fumble their way through wrestling’s rich past, present and even future. Listeners beware! This show is not suitable for young ears!
In an impromptu extra bit of content from the Random Wrestling Review, Ben talks about this week's episode of Monday Night Raw which included the latest chapter in the Bloodline saga, a confrontation between Oba Femi & Bron Breakker and a match for the Intercontinental Title between Chad Gable and Rey Mysterio.
It's SummerSlam season (well, sort of) and we bring you a comprehensive review of the 2000 edition, replete with Shane's ridiculous stunt fall, the Angle-Steph-Triple H love triangle, Jim Ross's candy jar and Tables, Ladders and Chairs- oh my! Wrestling nostalgia rarely hits as hard as this one and our panel are determined to bask in every moment of it.

The 10th edition of BracketMania sees our panel take on the difficult question of who was the best/biggest star in ECW's history. As per usual, a 16 strong field has been assembled and been subjected to a random drawing to determine the tournament brackets that will ultimately decide who comes out as the winner- could it be Sabu, Sandman, Raven, Rob Van Dam, Tommy Dreamer, The Dudley Boys, Taz, Rhyno or...Joel Gertner?!

With our Champion, Gavin Duenas having wiped the floor with the majority of the RWR regulars, it's time to go back a step to find a suitable number 1 contender, and so to that end, Alex 'Rockstar' Kirkman will battle Stephen Coriander to determine Gavin's next challenger. In their only other battle with each other, Alex edged out a very tight encounter, so Stephen will be eager for revenge in this one.

In the latest episode of The Heroes we discuss the career and qualities of 'The Charismatic Enigma' Jeff Hardy. The Heroes is a series where we ask one of our regular panel or a special guest to talk about the wrestler that meant the most to them- understand why they liked them so much, whether they think wrestling fans rate them at the appropriate level, and take a look back at one of their key matches.

The latest 'main' episode of the podcast sees us travel less than a decade into the past for an NXT Takeover that featured Shinsuke Nakamura defending his Title against 'Glorious' Bobby Roode. Also on the show, Asuka had 4 opponents to fend off in order to retain her NXT Women's Title and the tag belts were also on the line as DIY faced the Authors of Pain.

With SummerSlam just around the corner, continuing criticisms of Triple H's booking, a brief WWE Title reign for Sami Zayn and a clear lack of upward trajectory for younger stars, we check in with the industry leaders to talk about what prospects there are for change, whether they have the talent in the company to bring back lapsed fans and much more...

The Random Wrestling Review will be at AEW All In this August (well at least some of us, anyway)! And so with the event just 2 months away we thought it would be a good opportunity to have a little chat about what might be coming up at the event, why the company has thus far only sold 25,000 tickets (as at end of May) and who (presumed) main eventer, Will Ospreay, will be up against on the night.

The latest Random Wrestling Review covers Clash of the Champions 6, a night where Ricky Steamboat and Ric Flair engaged in part 2 of their legendary series, a near hour-long, best 2 out of 3 falls match. Also on the show The Midnight Express of Jim Cornette were up against The Samoan Swat Team, managed by Paul Heyman, Junkyard Dog back in the Superdome in Louisiana, and The Great Muta showing off his abilities.

The first in the series takes a look at what might have taken place had Vince Russo never left is position as head writer at WWE, and jumped ship to WCW?

Imagine a scenario where the entire WWE roster are being released with the exception of 30 wrestlers. In this episode, our panel take that scenario and have to determine those 30 wrestlers who are staying with the company, each by drafting 10 of the acts they most consider as still having something valuable to offer WWE in 2026. What will our panel priorities- star power, in ring ability, character work, or simply good old fashione...

In order to make sure we keep up our regular commitment to you of one episode per week we thought we would round up all the stuff that has taken place in the wake of WrestleMania including our thoughts on the documentary that seemed to dominate that show throughout the weekend, Hulk Hogan: Real American. We also discuss the latest round of post 'Mania releases and check in with AEW- the Darby Allin title win, the general quality of...
So after the first night of this year's WrestleMania was adjudged by us to be an almost complete wash out, could WWE recover the weekend on Night 2? That is the question we'll be looking to answer with our latest episode. A lot was riding on the main event which saw CM Punk defending the World Heavyweight Title against Roman Reigns, and the much anticipated contest between Brock Lesnar and 'The Next Big Thing' Oba Femi.

The WrestleMania series is back, albeit temporarily, as we bring you full coverage of both nights of this year's event, starting with Night 1 here. After the speculation surrounding ticket prices and sales, and a general feeling that the build to the show has been less than stellar, would WWE be able to deliver on the night? Cody Rhodes was facing Randy Orton in the main event, meanwhile underneath, Stephanie Vaquer defended the Wo...
For the 3rd year in a row, the same crew come together to look ahead to this weekend's WrestleMania- an event mired in scrutiny after a year of creative that many feel has been less than stellar and which comes while some are calling the 'Ruthless Depression' era. Can WWE put all that aside to deliver on the biggest weekend in the calendar, or will overly conservative booking, and the ongoing interference of TKO, lead to disaster?

It's our last stop on the series of significant events in history, and to round things off ahead of WrestleMania season, it felt only right to get as far away from the glitz and glam of the 42nd edition of the Grandaddy of them all as possible, and a trip to 1988 AWA with their SuperClash III event. This was a big last effort by the remaining hold outs of the territory age to come together and try to keep the WWE and NWA wolves fro...
