Speaker 1 (00:05):
Hey everyone, this is a free kick on sports Girt.
I'm Chelsea cobarkis alongside Martino and Geo. It's been an
eventful weekend Super Bowl. Shakiro Beca's wife, How are you, guys?
I love I love the halftime, no disrespect, It's just
his wife is a lot more talented than he is.

(00:26):
Because it's talented, but she could dancing. I mean she
was losing her I mean she did the twenty time
World Cup songs. So yeah, she's amazing. So I love
the he I know that the guys watching this, you
definitely enjoyed the halftime show to Latinos. Al Right, guys, well,
let's kick off with the Bundesliga Dortmund versus lever Cusin.

(00:49):
Who's in fifth place right now? What are your thoughts predictions?
This is all early Holland. I mean, this kid is insane.
He's just a teenager. He's already got I mean, what
was it again, I put it down here, seven goals
at Dortman already and he just arrived there this month.
He's just a teenager, um and he hasn't even started
every game. His first game, he came off the bench

(01:11):
and scored a hat trick. It's just one of those debuts.
It kind of reminds me of pon Tick a little
bit last year with Meland, where he was just so
on fire and it didn't matter that he switched teams
mid season. He was just still scoring the goals. And
he's in the perfect place to develop because Dormant has
a great track record of developing star players like that,
and this is just a prime game for them to

(01:33):
win against Leverkusin because they're still there's still a kind
of a tight race for the Champions League spot. So
I think Dortman's gonna be able to pull this one out.
I mean, Dorman's in contention for the title to I
mean between first and fifth, it's not really and Dorman's
I think three off buyer now, so it's a very
close race. When you said how long, he got a
couple more goals this past weekend, which was great for him.

(01:55):
And usually they developed talent. Now they brought in talents.
Hopefully he's not one of those that they sell off you.
Maybe he'll be there for a long long time. And
he got for a bargain because I guess it was
the release cause or whatnot. But hey, they jumped on it.
They did a good job with that. Dorman scored has
scored fifteen goals in their last three games, five goals
per game. Literally, so they're on fire there. I think

(02:17):
they're the second high scoring now they have fifty six goals.
They're they're doing really well. Although I do think this
match would be a little closer than we think. I
don't think we'll see another blowout. I mean early Holland
Hollands Um, he's just a spectacular player. I don't know,
seven goals right, it's averaging. I looked it up, nineteen
and nineteen point four minutes. He gets a goal in

(02:38):
each match and there in history, there hasn't been a
player like him that starts off in the Bundesliga scoring
in every game. So my question to you guys is
what are academies or clubs producing. Why is this generation
so different? I don't know. I mean, even with the
talent that he might possess, it's just I guess it
SUPs to the players worth work ethic too. I mean,

(03:00):
the academy is bringing tons of players, but not all
of them succeed right. Well, see, we see players fall
off or tail off. Eventually all the time, and even
in Italy there's like the Atalanta academy is known for
producing a lot, and then they go off to Milan,
might not be as good come back, you know what
I mean. Like it's just things like that. But in
terms of Holland, I mean what I see is just
the finishing is insane. I mean, he scores all different

(03:22):
kinds of goals. I watched the competitions too, and I
watched him exactly about to say, I watched them against
Napoly with Salzburg. So he was doing it in Austria,
and then people are saying, hey, he's gonna come to Germany.
Maybe he won't be as good. It's a tougher league, right,
But the thing is that we're seeing players. We're seeing
players like right, We're seeing players like Frankie to John,
We're seeing players like himself. What is so different from

(03:42):
this generation that these academies or clubs are producing. How
are these players coming out to me so well rounded
and mentally focus for these matches? I think I think
it's an all sports kind of thing. I mean, how
many times do we see it in basketball? Over here?
There's baseball stars, football stars. These kids just know what
they need to do and at it's evolving the sport.

(04:03):
The sport world is evolving because of the technology because
most probably coaches are putting more efforts into their methodology.
I just said methodology. I really dislike that word. And
it's sure they're putting more thought into it where they're
creating players are much well. They're they're well rounded, they
know they know what they need their players to be

(04:24):
good at, just like Barcelona a lot of the time.
Why they're so good, it's not so much playing all
the time. The academy has them sitting down watching the film,
knowing where they need to be in specific spots, knowing
what they need to be good at. You need to
be good with your left foot, your right foot, you
need to be able to have it nowadays and there's
so many things that they know that goes into making

(04:44):
a player so great and that's how they're able to
develop them. And this is all over the place too.
You were referencing Barcelona players, i X players and now
this is over in Austria and the expectation and knowing
that there's been teenagers before that have got done it
makes it easier for these newer teenagers because when you're
the first coming along the line of of teenagers, there's

(05:07):
a lot more expectations on you because there's never been
anything like that before. Now that we've seen Messi's and
in Bob's thrive at a high level at a young
age like that, it's easier for Holland or an An
Sufati because there's been examples of being done before. So
now that they had that and they're going to smarter places,
Like if Holland went over to Manchester United, I'm not

(05:28):
convinced he would have the same success that he would
at Dormant because Dormant is deep place to go in
Germany in my opinion. Well, now will Dortmund going into
this match right there? A non aggressive team. They possessed
the ball really good, they look for those through balls.
And we were just talking about the Spanish League, which
you mentioned, and I said, just got he just moved
to So from Dortmunt. So who is going to replace him?

(05:52):
You're saying who is who? Like who who's going to
replace him? Yeah? I mean, but I mean it's going
to be a point where it'll step up. I mean
Marco Royce can step up to I mean he's been there,
He's been the cap for the longest time, right, I
mean he's he's attacked when he's on the field when
he's healthy, And I mean that's a good point. That
is a very good yeah. I mean, but look, this

(06:12):
is why Dorman, but this was just the January window
and this is a short something that basically their thought processes.
If we're being able to bring in a guy who's scoring,
I mean, nineteen minutes doesn't really matter because it doesn't.
It's basically over two goals and a half. Yes, but
that luck can last, just so he'll tell this is
it's unsustainable, like you said, but really quick, I guess

(06:35):
for the gamingouts that we get to get into Dorman's
plus one on five, they're an underdog. I would take them.
I mean why not. They're just completely on fire. Levercus
is a very good team too, and they're at home
in this matchup. But I mean I have to go
with Holland because I mean he's that on fire and
I'm not going to go into some until he's not. Right. No,

(06:55):
I like Dormant as well. For plus money, you have
to jump on that. They're they're very hot right now,
sou and they've won the last four against lever Custin.
I was looking back as well, so they've They're on
a hot streak in just this single matchup between these
two teams as well. So I like them. I just
like it mentioned earlier, just to reiterate, I don't really
think it's gonna be another five goal game, you know
what I mean? I think I think lever Cousin will score.

(07:15):
They often try to get a goal at home, and
you mentioned that homefield always has something to do with
the games. Isn't so far lever Cusin isn't so far
behind from Dortman. Dortman is currently sits in fifth place,
So how can they come out to face a team
like Dortman. Well, the attention goes to Holland, Right, you
gotta stop the machine at this point, I would you

(07:35):
stop the machine? Um, you gotta limit the chances that
are being created on the outside whatever whatever they're sending
into him, even through balls through that. I mean, they're
sending these balls through everywhere, whether it's through the sides,
through centrally. I mean, I think you have to do
zonal marking at this point, because when when you have
so many different options You can't just pay attention at
just Holland because then it's easier said than done. Right,

(07:57):
just stop the one. But if you play don't. If
you play zone and you give a player like Holland space,
he's going to do something with that space if they're
not tamed. So then I think it does come down
to man marking. Maybe you could have a sweeper at
the end of it, just like you rather worry about
the guys on the side, and then last second, just
have a guy inside the box waiting for Holland to

(08:18):
prevent any chance from him scoring. It's right now teams
are still figuring out what his weaknesses are because because
he's still relatively new, we just knew about coming on
the scene this year, so it's gonna take time for
the league to adjust to him and vice versa. Well,
he's adjusting to the league very well. Just as the
Spars three games, he just jumped in and scored right

(08:40):
or right off the bat, I mean a hat trick
and his debut off the bench is just the most
ridiculous for it doesn't happen. This is when you look
back on it in ten years and you're like, what
goes what goes through a player's mind when that happens,
like your first game, you're going inside this. You don't
know what to expect, and I think the he into

(09:00):
the key to him is confidence. Well he has that
killer instinct, it looks like and he's done it. And
he did it all Champions League too, Like I know
that he didn't succeed, but they scored goals against Liverpool,
right are the best Premier League team we've seen in
a long time, right, right exactly, they're they're the champions
of Europe as well, and he scored multiple goals against them.
Scored goals against I mean every game that he could

(09:21):
play in that you know, he was scoring goals. So
it's not something I think that's new to him. Obviously
it's not new to him, but I guess we shouldn't
be surprised. As you know, coming from austre you you think, yeah,
maybe he'll you know, it's tougher league, but I'm not
surprised he's been doing it, so why why not keep riding?
You should look for odds for him to score two
at this point, well, yeah, if he can get something

(09:43):
with Earlian holand to score in a win, I mean,
I think we can make a lot of money because
why not, because it's happening. I think I think right
now he's on fire. Yes, he is on fire. So
I would advise you. I just I just don't know
if this is potentially a place where he stops. Because
Lover Cruisin is a good team. This game is on
the road, like a yeah, just the game that we
look back and say we probably should have saw this

(10:04):
coming with Holland not scoring. Yes, playing on the road
is is difficult for a team. Alright, So predictions, Yeah,
I like a to one. I still think that it'll
hit the over two and a half, but I wouldn't
go over like like I said the five goal thing,
I wouldn't go over three and a half four and
a half. I would just play it safe for the
two and a half because I think both teams will score,
but Dorman still has enough to pull it out. I
think it's gonna be relatively close. Yeah, something like the

(10:26):
opinion for me, I would say, I go to nothing
and under two and a half goals. Yeah, I just
I don't and I would I would put something down
for Holland to score, because I mean, this is just
ridiculous under two and a half you would. I just
think it's it's a tighter matchup between two teams like
this and Dortman is a great scoring team, but they're
on the road now, so I think it's gonna be
something similar. It is not that bad defensively either, So

(10:49):
how many how many goals do you think he's going
to score? Does if he does score just I feel
like this will be the match where he can just
get on the score sheet, but not you know, pop
off if I would be shot, doesn't score to be honest,
So being Levercuson, I guess it's safe to say you
would come out more defensive minded rather than above stop pollen,
you have a better chance of winning. I think I

(11:09):
know easier said that. There's there's then there's there's a negative.
There's a negative side to this because if you play
defensive minded for that counter attack, well it's it's very
um less likely that you're gonna be able to score.
Doesn't have that mentality to defense. I still think defensive
because if they get a point out of this, it's
honestly not the best point at one point for Levercusen

(11:31):
in this matchup with the form there. Yeah, with the
way Dorman's and playing and shot up to right behind Byron,
I would take I would take a point honestly, but
I still think Dorman pulls it out. All right, guys,
Well those are the predictions. Up next, we're gonna be
talking versus. Are you ready for the nation's first and

Get all the Grade. Hey everyone, I'm Chelsea Cobarcus. We're
back with the free kick with our friends from Active
Score to kick off. We're gonna talk about the match

(12:44):
Sheffield versus Bournemouth. Sheffields was currently in sixth place while
Bournemouth is sitting in sixteen. If you had to pick
an outright winner for this match, who would it be.
The expectations for both of the teams were pretty similar
to start the season. Sheffield United newly promote the team
Burnemouth one of the smaller clubs in Premier League, so

(13:04):
they were not supposed to be very high up in
the table to start with. Of course, Sheffield United has
now been in this season one of the positive surprises,
while Burnemouth probably a little bit in a negative way.
They have not performed as well as many would have
hoped hope from them. UM Sheffield is in top six
six now in with thirty six points. UM and Burnemouth

(13:29):
are fighting for survival. They're at the sixteenth place with
twenty six points, just a couple of points away from
the relegation zone zone. Sheffield, of course played brilliant defensive football.
They've shut down a lot of good teams. They managed
to scrape wins where they might have been a little
bit overwhelmed by the opponents, so they played to their

(13:51):
strengths through the season. UM they have the second best
defensive record in the whole league with twenty three conceded goals. UM.
Burnamath sortages are a bit more difficult to point out.
They haven't been playing as well as a team as
they have used to UH and that shows in the
table now. They've lost quite heavily a couple of times,

(14:12):
and they haven't been able to turn those games to
their advantage that they had for example, last last season
and the season before UM. In the simulations the game
should be a lot more even than the odds indicate.
At the moment, Sheffield wins at forty seven point five
percent of the simulations, the draw is twenty nine point

(14:35):
eight and Bournemouth wins twenty two point six percent UM.
So the smart money would go again a little bit
towards the road team in this case. Yes, the way
team has provided value in Sheffield United home games this
season seven times, and out of those seven games, Circuit
score has predicted correct twice or barely breaking even in

(14:57):
these games, very newly promoted team Sheffield has done relatively well.
That brings me to my next question. Sheffield United is
a very defensive team. Do they keep ourmouth under their
team total? When we take a look of totals um,
it's interesting to see that Sheffield United home game total

(15:18):
has been very very low, so two or two point
twenty five highest I think it was two point five
during this season, so we are expecting a very low
scoring game. However, ACI score predictions have found value on
total three times this season when Sheffield United has played

(15:39):
home and all of those have been over and out
of those three, two has been correct when I was pushed.
So when you have bit over it has been pretty
good outcome for your bank roll. And do you see
told me that it would be again some of over

(16:00):
four both teams or is it anger maybe one of
gold each or even less in this match? Yeah, exactly.
CHEFID United will rise and fall with their defensive play.
They're not that prolific in the offense, so they need
to play defensively in order to get points and that's
something that they definitely will do even against Bournemouth, who

(16:22):
then again when they go on the road probably approach
quite defensively as well. So we're not expecting a lot
of goals um and neither is the simulations here, so
it's very likely that maximum goal scored for either team
will be one in this game. Well, guys, hopefully that's
a good match. That's a wrap for our Premier League.

(16:42):
But now we're going to take it to La Liga
Hit versus Valencia. Valencia has been on a roll beating
Barsa and they did it again with Selta, which brings
me to my next question. Do they win a third
straight game. Yeah, the home team, Getafe is believe it
or not, third in La Liga at the moment, so
we've seen some surprises in that that part this time around.

(17:04):
Of course, Barcelona andrell Madrid are still on top, but
get up a third. It's something that not many would
have believed before the season. UM. There are two points
ahead of fifth place Valencia, who they're now playing against. UM.
Both teams are in very good form. Like we we know,
Valencia beat Barcelona, they beat Alta Vigo after also get

(17:27):
It has won three straight games. UM. So it should
be an interesting and very close game. I would say
because get playing at home. They've been terrific and Valencia
has gotten a little bit better than in the early
season when they had a little bit of problems. UM.
In the simulations, Geta had the home team wins with
about forty probability. UM, the draw is very likely, it's

(17:50):
thirty five percent, and Valencia wins with twenty five probability.
So again I would go with the draw here. They've
drawn two times of the last two games they played
together in the past. That you score pretty soon. Value
has clearly been away team in this matchup and volunteer

(18:11):
a visit to get effect. But it has been only
once out of last four games when it has been correct,
so not too much to talk about those results. Will
they win that third game? I don't know. Valencia has
been on a rule and they just spot right back
for Lorenzi from Roma, so I don't know. Defensively, they're
looking pretty compact and they have been executing those goals.

(18:33):
If you had to choose over under for the match total,
what would it be when we take a look of
a team total on UM. It's interesting that it has
been correct three times out of last four games and
the scoring has been quite low less it has been
only one goal in these two last matchup. When valentteer

(18:55):
has a visited, UM told me how do you see
an know? Would it be again under the low scoring
event or will be more open football? Even though the
line is right now too So would it be under
only one goal in this game or would it be

(19:17):
more than two goals? Yeah, we are expecting a very
low scoring, very close game between the two two teams here.
Like I said, thirty five probability for a draw and
goal scoring numbers are very low in simulations UM geta
fed the home team scores only zero point ninety seven
goals on average UH and Valencia manages only zero point

(19:39):
seventy two. So overall the number is very low and
for the both teams as well. So it's very likely
that the game will finish in under Well, maybe Florenci
will be a positive impact for Valencia, we don't know.
We're going to see him this this weekend. Well, that's
a rap for LaLiga. We're gonna move on to the
French league League ps G versus on. PSG is on

(20:01):
fire this season with other goals. Do they hit the
team over Yeah, the Parisons have dominated league, you know
again and UM no surprise there. They have a tremendous team,
by far the best team in that league UM and
the challengers. Then on the other hand, Marseille Leon they've
struggled somewhat. They've dropped points where they definitely shouldn't if

(20:24):
they want to challenge p s G. So it looks
like they're going to be running away as champions once again.
They have twelve point lead at the moment. They've scored
more than two and a half goals per game UM
and many people say that they haven't even shown their
best yet, so they've been a little bit, you know,
flamboyant in finishing off the games and not scoring as
much as they probably could have. UM Leon one of

(20:47):
the challengers this season. UM started bad and that's it.
They probably are too far to really challenge for the title,
but they are approaching the top of the table. UM
They are six now with thirty two points. There are
eight points behind the Champions League qualification, which is the
minimum target for them for sure. UM Defensively they are

(21:08):
a very good team. They're in top three of LIGUN
but stopping PSD in Paris that's a whole different task
and it might just prove too difficult for this Leon defense. Yes,
the team total has been quite a fluctuating in this game,
because with the last five years it's has been somewhere

(21:29):
between two point five and four point twenty five at
highest two years ago, and ps G has really scored
flog goes twice in this match. PSG isn't the only
team that has been on fire this season. Leon hasn't
lost a game up until yesterday. They have found four

(21:49):
victories out of their five matches these past weeks. Last
time they lost was I want to say December. What
month are we in right now? February? That a long time,
Leon have been a terrific form as of late, do
they finally lose this one? Accused corprediction and accuracy has

(22:09):
been pretty good. In the total its um we have
predicted three times games you go under and those have
been all correct the same way one x two accuracy
has been very good as there has been value every
time when these teams have met in Paris during the
last five years, and out of those five games, two

(22:33):
has been correct. So by batting fifty bucks you would
end up winning seventy seven dollars at the end. Told me,
do you see that this would be five zero type
of one way street this time again? Or easily owned

(22:53):
defense good enough to stop and maybe even pull upset
against Paris. I would very much like to say that
the Aleen will now append PSG, but in all fairness,
I don't think that's gonna happen this time either. Um
Leon has played well as of late, but BSG is
still on a different level, and they seem to be

(23:13):
doing better the better the opponenties, so they might they
might be playing bad against the Dijons and the and
the lower lesser teams, but against Leon is definitely one
of the main rivals. They probably put out their best
players and they play the best best they can, so
it's very hard to see that Leon would be able

(23:35):
to uppend the champions this time. Well. For more soccer analysis,

Welcome back, all right, guys, let's kick off with Lalida
Barcelona versus Bettis is the second place and Betty's, who

(24:48):
is currently sitting in twelve. Now, don't don't forget Betty's
is actually not that bad. They're in twelfth place, but
they just haven't been as lucky. I will say predictions. Well,
Cetien is their previous manager, right, you know, And I
think also let's not forget that I know this personally
because not only Rubies from Betty's. You know, a couple

(25:11):
of years ago they were in sixth in the Europa
League spot. Yeah, and they were a good team in
La Liga and you know, a decent team in Europe
and then Setien left and they've kind of felt you know,
but they've got they've gone out of that relegation zone
for now. You said twelve, so you know, I think
they're I think twenty points. I'm not sure if that
was them or not, but they're they're they're out of

(25:31):
the relegation zone so they don't have to worry about
that right now. This is a big game for them.
This is that camp knew it. So it's gonna be tough,
but I agree with you, I don't think it will be.
We haven't seen blots from Barcelona in a long time.
It's a it's a it's a significant game for Cytien
because he's playing his old club, this club where he
was able to get them into sixth place for two
years in a two seasons in a row. I will say, Um,

(25:53):
he was the first coach to ever beat a Barcelona
at camper No, which that's that's a extremely difficult So
he's going I think he's going to go into this
match a bit more relaxed because if you Beata at
camp know and you're gonna be playing against but he's
your old club, you already know your players. You don't
know all the players, but you know the club. Yes,

(26:14):
you know the club relatively well, and you understand their methodology. Wow,
I keep saying that word today, the word of the day. Well,
he knows, he knows the structure of the club, he knows,
he knows what they stand for, so he kind of
understands what he's going to go against. Right. Um. I
don't know if you guys were able to watch versus
Levante this past weekend. It was it was a close game.

(26:37):
They picked it up in the second half, but it
was interesting. I mean, again, this was mess. He had
the two assists on the goals. I mean, that's a
great sign that on Sufati, a young kid like that's
able to step up in a game because they're really
not getting it from the Federan players like Graceman. Again.
I mean, look, you have something against we're all talk

(27:00):
about because you pay a hundred twenty million euros. The
fit was terrible and he's not producing. He's not even
coming close to the level. This guy just tweets about
basketball and football and he's not focusing on trying to
he just because he should. Because when you're when you're
getting paid that much money and you're not stepping up
like this, I think it is fair criticism to go

(27:22):
after him like that because the part of the reason
why they're not playing as well as they are is
because he hasn't assimilated to the squad like he should.
And no, no, it's true though, because this could end
up costing them the title and and you know what,
and this is a game having then the title, they're
they're in second place right now. Yeah, but if they
look back and lose the title and n twin Griesman

(27:43):
was not playing up to his level, you could point
to him. He's one of the reason. Think that if
Swartz never got hurt, I know it happened only a
little while ago anyway, but if if Sars never got hurt,
you don't think it would have opened it up a
little bit for him in the second half the of course,
I mean, your team is better with Suarez, but when
you're that good, I'm so right, Like expectations for him,
did they have to be better because Messi's stepping up

(28:04):
when guys go down. Yeah, I know, And it's just
for me the expectation needs to be there. I think
he's still a great player. I think he has a
lot to prove still, and I'm like, who knows he
could score here on the road against UM, But for me,
I did like he's one of the main reasons why
they're struggling and and in my opinion, in my in

(28:26):
my opinion, but they don't know. What they're lacking right
now is taking advantage of the opportunities that are given
to them. So in an interview sidey And mentioned after
the Levanter match, he mentioned that there were a lot
of chances but they weren't executing and he wasn't really
sure why. Now this is his third game, so it's
going to take a bit more time for him to
understand his players and get to know the niches for

(28:49):
each player. What he what he has to say right
Um rumors are if we want to talk about execution
and scoring, rumors are nym Are is looking like he's
going to make a move back to Barcelona. Oh god,
this doesn't we're gonna star Merry go round. First of all,

(29:09):
it's going to have to be three. PSG never sell players.
And if a player is going to leaves off one
of the best trios that I have seen, Missy and
UM's the best attack ever. I don't think this is
in history, not in history. WHI to a lifetime name one.

(29:33):
I can't think my head but adamant today's to argue.
We're going to argue they destroyed everyone in their path,
and they were all saying, you know what it is, No,
you know what it is. I think Nemar had gone
to He went to the French League because it's good
for the marketing side of He wanted to win. He

(29:54):
wanted to be the main guy. He wants to go
to all the leaks ps she who doesn't want to
play for PSG don't. I don't blame him, but now
I think it's time for his own, for his own
good to go back to Barcelona, because I think they
get more of him as a player. They're killing it
right now though for him, they're playing some of the
best that he's played since he's gotten there. That attack.
We've said that this is their one year that I

(30:17):
actually when I'm actually want to put money down for
him to win. I think this is actually the year
for him that he can do it. If they go in,
they win the league, which is probably a given, if
they make it to a Champions League, finally win which
is possible because they're talented enough America facing Bobby, he
will but he's playing better than in But if they

(30:39):
go and win, cope America too, because he has something
to prove, because they want to without him last year
and this is a big deal to them. I know
Colombia has a good shot. I actually everyone culture my friends. Yeah,
but but look, I mean that would that would be
a crazy story. But I remember one of the rumors

(31:01):
where that Barcelona have to sell players and they have
to make money in terms of for the regulations. I
hope he does return. I don't think he ever should
have left, but I understood why he did. Um but
I guess we have to go back to thesty. So
Barcelona played Levante this past weekend, Levante is a very
different team from UM from Betty's. Yeah, Betty's is coming

(31:24):
off a draw. They had a draw, loss and a draw.
You have a partnership between God Guard, which is amazing.
If you have them on the right side. That dynamic
that those two have, that duo has, it's unstoppable. Which
that brings me to ask, how do these chemistry Like,

(31:44):
how does this chemistry begin with two players? How does
this like what makes it so special? Well, I mean,
I guess it depends on the coaches. I think it
goes all around it. It's not just the players, also
the system they're implemented in, because players often, of course
they have individual talent, but if you're not in the
right system, even if you know a player you've developed
comes through with them. We've seen it plenty of times,

(32:11):
even the Chelsea days, right, So now he's tearing it up.
So it really depends on how you have everyone placed together.
So I think that's a big think. It's characteristics of
players too, if they're able to play off of each other.
The reason why I like in Yes to Chav and
like Messi were so great because they complemented each other
so well. They're strikers and forwards that are able to

(32:31):
control the ball distribute while another guy goes open and
makes runs like that, like you know, like a second
striker and a number nine out now, I mean there,
it's always a fit and that, and that's why guys
and like Barcelona have their system where possession space, possession
based football, get open in the areas, let MESSI create
and then have a guy that's able to finish. So

(32:53):
in previous matches, Barcelona scored twelve goals versus Battis. But
this time it looks like the K won't be playing
this match because he's out on suspension. Are we expecting
somewhat the same? I think Betty's will get a goal
in this matchup. They've scored in their last four home matches.
I think I got it wrong at the beginning of
the segment. They're at Beteast, they're not and their plus

(33:17):
three fifty, which also shows to me that they're somewhat
respected in this match. Right, we've seen in the past
couple of weeks some of these home teams that aren't
as good. We've seen them at plus hundred plus, right,
and Valencia beat them, although you know that was much
much better team. I think I think that these can
score a goal. I still think Boss will pull it
out though, but I don't think it'll be you know,

(33:37):
and in that case it would have to be something
like a two one. But I still don't think we
see the bars of that scores, you know, five goals
that that that right now, I think that I think
there's been improvements. You know, there has takes a while,
and they bounce back from that Valencia loss. Now they've
won't too straight, so you know, they and Messi looks
good too. He's always looked good, but he's always looked good.

(33:58):
All right, Well, moving on, we're going to talk about
there be Madri at Mari vers Mari happened this past weekend.
What were your thoughts on that match? It was extremely just,
it was it was a lot. It was a lot.
I was happy not to be cocky and whatnot. But
we got that right. We did say we're out. Me
and Partineau have been unrailed the whole season. We said
they would win and it would be under two and

(34:19):
a half one one they'll win. So we we've seen
that happen and that's why I just you know, for
bragging rights, we got that right. But Benz him again
came up big scored that goal, you know, and now
they still have that three point three point lead ahead
of BARSA and they're still on track to win the league.
I still think they're they're better than bars all around.
That's why I mean defensively, we saw it again right,

(34:39):
and that's let's go get it close. We we said
it would be very low scoring because the thing is
that they have Saddan, and Saddan has been their coach
for a very their manager for a very long time. Yes,
he took a year off, but he took that year
off to study, to study the game, to study his
his way of thinking about the game. I wasn't going
to use methodology again. So I have realized that his

(35:03):
subs and his way of viewing the games now it's
very different. He's adjusted and his his substitutions are on point.
I don't know if no I agree. I agree with that.
I think the whole philosophy over there has changed because
they've brought in younger players, and they brought Yes, they've
brought in younger players, and like I said, he took
a year off, so now his substitutions I think he's more.

(35:27):
He's a complete coach now and at this point in
his career too. That's crucial, right because post Ronaldo, you
can't just rely on he's a mega star exactly. They
still have plenty of superstars, but not that mega star
to get it dunk for you, right, So that's that's important.
You make those subs in the right moments. Right. People
have the right system, have the right and that's crucial.
That's crucial for a manager, knowing when to sub players,

(35:48):
knowing when to hold them back, knowing what players gonna
go in the last two minutes and not throw a
fit like Imbopa did this past weekend because they took
him out. But he's gonna get off You're all those
last two minutes and he's gonna maintain possession of the ball. Right,
Moving on really quick because we're about to run out
on time less Chelsea versus Lester, let's talk about that.

(36:09):
Because the bad defense, defensive players scoring. Antonio Rudigery got
the two of the goals. We said this one was
going to be a draw, tight matchup um and ended
up being that and ended up going over the goals.
I think that's a fair result. Of like for what
these teams were at right now, they're not as hot
as they were in the beginning of the season. This
was probably the most like they both take it. I
don't think either team is all right. Well that's a

(36:32):
rat for this segment. Are you ready for the nation's

this He's sports great. Welcome back. We're taking it to

(37:13):
Sedia at this upcoming Sunday in Milan versus AC Milan.
What are your predictions for this match? Can start this
one you want? Now, let's just start by saying Milan
has been doing very very well. AC Milan not so well. Funnily,
the best moms of the season. This is the best
month of the season that they've had. But this is

(37:35):
this is like the biggest one of the bigger rivalries
in the sport. I don't think we've seen one. This
lop started the rivalry. Besides the manchest arrival that we
had the past couple of years, it's been very clear
and evident that Enters the better club. They got the
better team, they got the better coaches, they got, the
better directors, they got the better owners, they had the
better players everywhere all over the field. Um, a lot

(37:58):
of these derbys haven't been close the lot. This one
that they played was absolutely terrible. I don't think I've
actually seen me on playing worse than the derby that
was back when they had Johan Paulo though, who was
the manager that they sacked like two weeks after that.
They were playing a bunch of different players. They were
they were playing the older guard of the players that
were on the terrible teams of recent years. But now
they have Ismael Bitnessenter is going to be bad for

(38:19):
this too. Hernandez is starting in this one, which he
didn't start in that. They're gonna have County back in
that and Ibrahimovich just playing his first derby since he
was sold back in So we're gonna lose. You're you're
giving me all these positives for oh, we got this
player back, well no, but also we also have to
add in that Christian Erickson has been added on to

(38:41):
Milan and he's one of the top playmakers in Europe
right now. He goes onto the field and he changes
the whole dynamic of a game of the mat and
he comes at a perfect time too, because has plenty
of injuries. So they'll need Erickson to do that playmaking
with the Lucako from because Lotto's out a big coggan
in their teams. Hondanovitch, however old he is, he's amazing.

(39:03):
He has been for throughout a reason why they've hundred
percent and that's big too. So ericson getting being there
especially they might have some midfielders out you since there
might there might be an issue with that because if
we think about it, Okay, Lucaco up top, but is
he going to be used in the system of a
three five too? Where is he gonna where is he

(39:24):
gonna fit in? Oh the ericson you mean, yeah, well no,
but that's been the debate about people who are trying
to figure out where he exactly he fits in kunte system.
Are they going to do a four for two. Are
they gonna I think I think it's I think it's
a basic three five too, that's set up, but some
players are up more, some drop back. He doesn't even

(39:44):
have exactly because was the perfect partner for Lukaku and
they've been one of the best duos in the world
at this point. I think I think it will be
something an adaptation of a three five to where the
wingers still push up more, but the midfielder is a
little bit hel more back, and except for Ericsson because
obviously the closer he is to go, the better their

(40:05):
teams um. But look, I think this is a perfect
spot for Milan to potentially get a winner, because I
really do think that Milan can get something out of
this game. I'm not saying that because we're we're sitting
next to each other, we're friends, but I really do
mean that because either injuries could catch up them. Listen, Melan.
Since Ebra has come back, yes they dropped the points.

(40:25):
They haven't lost though. Eber just being on that pitch
makes a whole world of a difference for this team
because whether even if he's not scoring goals, we saw
him score one in this I think a second game
and then the copitality game. But he doesn't have to
necessarily score goals because you have layout playing off of him.
You have players pushing up if your tail has been
really good for them. He just the attention that he

(40:45):
brings in that in that forward position, you have people
paying attention to him, and that's where they opened out.
When I'm extremely excited for Erickson is a partnership in
the bond that he's going to build with Lukaku. Because
if we look at Erickson's character the stick as a player,
he's patient, he knows when to hold onto the ball.
He's extremely good in counter attacks because he comes from

(41:06):
a premier league. He comes from the English game. Sitia
and the English League are two very different leagues, very
different styles of play. The Premier League. I think players
that have transition from the Premier League to the Italian
League have been successful because they're just so physical. Italians
aren't used to that. They're a bit more tactical. They
hold onto the ball, and here comes Erickson where he

(41:28):
does hold onto the ball. He's very patient, he waits
for those open spaces to open um. And then you
have Lukaku up top, who has played in the English
League before, so he knows how to play off of him,
and he has that power, that speed. Um, So I'm
excited to see that the bomb that they're going to create.
I I yeah, I I agree with that too, and

(41:49):
I think it's going to take some time. It will
be a little bit like Dibla fitting in Saudi's system
for Juventus, because it takes a little bit of time
because if his characteristics really kind of don't fit the system,
but he's good in creating and even scoring goals that
you have to find a position for him. And all
Ericson really has to do in reality is just create
enough chances for left Toto and Lukaku. But in this matchup,

(42:12):
I think it's a little bit easier for Milan strictly
because you don't have to focus on Lafto that much.
Romannoli can just simply worry about Lukaku because he got
Lukaco got the better of him in that more. Romanoli
does rarely slips up often. Lucacu absolutely jumped away above
him headed that go home and that was the most
embarrassing moment of the season. So forth with ac Milan,

(42:34):
they're going to go into this. I don't know what
to expect from a want to be quite honest, because yeah, no, no,
you can't say that that's a bit of care because
it's a derby and usually, first off, you're the worst
fan ever. Okay, I I would not wantting you on
my team. But anyways, back to what I was saying,

(42:57):
ac Milan is coming off a draw versus Vidonna and
they don't have a lot done because he's out in
the flu and they also don't have so No, he's
back for Fiss backbra hopefully he's back for that. I'm
missing a lot of guys. They came out, They came
out extremely flat. The opportunities that they don't have had

(43:18):
that they could have actually executed, they just they weren't
able to because that's an issue. But you know what
what might drive them is that this is a derby.
Derbies are always Derbies are always there's always always something intense.
I think they can get a point out of this.
They can, they can, but that's it. They have a

(43:39):
very difficult time seeing him win this game. And even
even at the worst, inter still has all their defenders.
Not I'm not I'm a realistic fan who understands now
ask anybody on the sports everyone by everyone gets follow
him on Twitter, you know what he's played by players
are the best. That's where I go after me along
games Martino Guccio on Twitter. That's well, no, no, no,

(44:00):
I'm I'm realistic about and I get I catch a
lot of crap on the network because every time we
talk basketball. I bet against the Celtics in certain games
because I know they're going to lose in certain like
this one. If you were one of if you like
me on in this I would just simply take a
draw and under trust and under two and a half quickly.
Because we were talking, but we were talking about the
English leage before, and I have to mention that, um,

(44:23):
there was actually an article that came out one of
the interviews that actually just had and in quotation, I'm
going to read this. I won the league in the
first year and the f A Cup in the second year.
Clop hasn't won anything yet in England after four years.
Pep didn't win anything in his first year. He has

(44:44):
the best press conferences. He's going at Pep and he's
going at club. Is this man? What's this? But this
is him? If he either does that he's whining about
how he's not getting enough money for his transfers. He
did that, Chelsea did players. He was complaining earlier this

(45:07):
year about it. And you know what, but I gotta
give it props to him because almost everywhere he goes
get wins. The League Europe different discussion. Yeah, I'll say
that he can't talk anything about that. They got knocked out.
They choked the Champions League group stage for that. They
blew that. They're blowing some games right now winter. They
have everything they need to pretend they should be ahead
of you there. There should be no the machine. Let's

(45:34):
say it's not that they're not going to win. I
think that just be it becomes so born Spanish, in
the Spanish League, the Italian you kind of always know,
of course who's going to win. How do you think
we felt for the past decade, especially me in the
past couple of years, where you think you're close and
then you're not. I mean, well we were never really close,
so it's not that bad for me. Then no, But
then you had Stefano the Milan, the Milan coach come

(45:57):
out and say in a press confident the season is
complicated and competitive. Winning games will be difficult and we
have to show good performances. I don't really know how
I feel about that, but what he said, it's just
damage control. I think he's just being realistic about the situation.
But he's a coach that took over during a crisis
the way they were took over about four months and

(46:18):
we finally had a good stretch the way. So yeah,
not even right around four months ago. Realistically they were
heading towards relegation the way they were playing, not playing
the certain guys that they needed to. He's he's just
coming for six months. As far as we know them,
Like ac Milan, why is it so difficult to get
great players? We don't have enough time. Difficult in history,

(46:41):
it's because well because FP regulations with not being able
to do that. This was the late eighties. That's how
they returned to their dominance. They were just able to
buy Marco Vambastian, frank Rid card Gold. They're able to
buy the best players in the world. And when Milan
has money and they're able to buy players, they come here.
The fact that they got Bonucci at that time when

(47:02):
he when he was coming off the Champions League final
speaks volumes to the attraction of that. They don't have
the money right now, they're not in Champions League. I
think they need a right back. I think they desperately
need a right back. Absolutely. I agree. Yeah, you're right. Yeah,
we need a lot of things. That's one of them.
Call me, call me as your sporting director. I'll get
you guys right back. You're pay First of all, you

(47:23):
know the owner. First of all. You can't just subtenly
say you know singer Paul Singer, Yeah he owns Yeah,
yeah he does. Yeah, that's a big idea for putting
me on the spot when you can withhold information like that.
I know, I know, I know. But they desperately do
need a right back. Malini just made his first appearance.

(47:45):
Third generation. Yeah that no, yeah, that is that wonderful family. Well,
because well, for people who don't know the sport, this
is one of that's one of the greatest things that
you'll see three generations going back to the nineties sixties
of strictly playing for this club. He's only eighteen, he's
just he's his youngest son and his older son, Christian

(48:06):
isn't good enough unfortunately to play for them. But but
I mean it's a great debut to just to see that.
And he's a forward though by the way his grandfather
and his father. You know what, you know, what's so
wonderful about the Italian League and Italian culture is that
they hold on to legacy and they hold on to
tradition and they yeah, and they really they they're like

(48:29):
they love that, you know, they want to see a
family grow in a club. Well want it brings them
extremely good media. Um, but if they love that attention,
But I just think it just holds a meaning to
the game. So when you watch these matches, it's like
you're living it, like you feel like you're part of
a family. No, it's kind of three you've seen three generation,

(48:51):
like three generations special. I don't think it's ever been
done at this level that they're this step great of
a family to have players to play for all this ship.
It will never be done again and you'll never see
any quickly. So predictions we lose to nothing
