When you want more Roadrunners, We've got more road Runners.
This is the Tucson Roadrunners Insider Podcast with a voice
of the Roadrunners, Jonathan Shafer.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
What advice do you have for me?

Speaker 3 (00:13):
Drink a lot of water.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
It's pretty odd and your new best friend my best friend,
Arizona Daily Stars James Kelly. The guys are already talking,
so let's join them right here on your twosun Roadrunners
Insider Podcast.

Speaker 4 (00:28):
Welcome to this week's twoson Roadrunners Insider Podcast. Jonathan Shaeffer
here with Arizona's Daily Stars James Kelly. We have a
lot to talk about this week. Roadrunners on a six
game losing streak homestand still continuing on up until this weekend.
We have a season ticket member signing night this upcoming Wednesday,

(00:51):
January twenty ninth. We're gonna hear from at coach Steve
Povin and Roadrunners Captain Austin Bakanski talking to them after
Saturday Night Night's loss. James, this is a tough stretch
for Tucson. We're we're not accustomed to this. This is
the one of the worst stretches that the Roadrunners have seen,

(01:11):
you know, really in the last two years, and the
team is struggling. The team is struggling to find ways
to score. The team is struggling, you know, playing that
structured defensive style. Goaltenders have had a rough patch. It's
just it's just all been rough. But I think, you know,
the the outside, the entire image that we were always

(01:31):
having to just step back and look like it looked
back at it. It's still just the big picture, right,
and you know, to get out of the hole, you
have to stop digging, and Roadruners just continue to dig
a little bit. But I think it's important that we've
now gone a nice practice week getting prepared for another
big series versus the Ontario Rain. Bakersfield won their game

(01:53):
on Sunday, so they are now tied with the Roadrunners
point wise in the standings. And yeah, at this point,
we're just kind of just trying to control our own destiny.
And Tucson just needs to start finding ways to you know,
get more guys on the score, she get everyone more involved,
you know, protect the goaltenders a little bit better too.

(02:14):
And yeah, just just a rough patch for the Roadrunners.
But you know, I feel like once you kind of
have a few nights of sleep after it, and you know,
again looking at the big picture, it's it's still much
a very long season, still plenty of games left. But yeah,
Tucson just needs to start finding ways to get more
wins because you know, at one point we were talking

(02:35):
about trying to get that fourth place or third place
spot in the standings and now we're just talking about
trying to keep our hold in the playoffs.

Speaker 5 (02:45):
Yeah, you said the got in tough a stretch of
then in a couple of years. That's what really, that's
really I felt like, look when I was watching them,
because it felt like they felt different. They didn't feel
like the road owners, even though the last couple of
years they felt like the runowners when I covered when
they first covered the team in twenty two, it was
it was the year before Steve Sacore full time when

(03:07):
they would give up a lot of goals like that,
and they're so heavily dependent on you know, a couple
of guys like that that year is Mitchelli and Carconi.
But you know, and that makes sense in retrospect because
those guys are you know, mainstays in the NFL, I
the NFL, in the NHL now, but this year one
of the strengths was that they had a lot of
definitely had a different variations of scoring, a lot of

(03:28):
diversity and scoring and so far, you know, this last
year games, specially in this homestand there there's that's really
just been dominated by the but.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
That by the top line.

Speaker 5 (03:39):
So that's something that you know, Fortunately they have a
lot that they have a lot of days to work
on in terms of a practice week getting back to
theirger schedule. They've been you know with the with how
the the last road tripended and how this and how
this home sets started. They've had a really weird schedule
where traditionally obviously they have the Friday Saturday, and then
every week off or almost a week off, there's six

(03:59):
days off and then they have Friday Saturday again and
and then when they do have you know, weekday weekday
games there Tuesday Wednesday. But this this whole, this whole
homestand and and the end of the road trip got
really off for the playing the weird days and you
have to check and I had to check and see
what day it was. I was like, uh, today is Monday,

(04:20):
I think, you know, so it was really really weird.
So maybe that'll help them out to get help them,
get me back in sync and get back to the
road rounds were used to seeing.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
Yeah, And I don't think we realized too, you know
when we when we're on the road and we have
a bunch of games scrunched up together, and I think
maybe two with the kind of having the Saturday Sunday
of no games, we had four games and six Gays days,
James and Uh, I don't think we realized that until
it was over and it's like, wow, we had we
had a we had a big scrunch of games. And

(04:47):
even after that road trip, guys, the guys only had
about what three days off, two days of worth the
practice for the next stretch.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
So uh.

Speaker 4 (04:58):
And we've seen in the pass even in this season
that two sounds played better with those scrunches of games
because I think when you win a game, you don't
have much to think about it, and then all of
a sudden you're winning the next one. And I think
we saw the losing end of that right where you know,
just you're you're losing these tough matches and you go
into the next game and you're still kind of it's

(05:19):
still in the back of your head, like you know,
maybe that first game versus the the Henderson series right
where we were leading four to one and Henderson scores
three unanswered and they win in overtime. And then the
next game where it was the probably the wonkiest game
of the year, which we scored three goals in the
first period and that was it.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
We lost six to three.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
That game was tied, and then go into the series
versus Abbotsford. First game, you feel like you're finally getting
it together. It's a very structured game. It's low scoring,
but at least you're you're structuring it right. And then
Abbotsford scores twenty seconds remaining, and then you fast forward
to the night where in the most recent game where

(06:04):
abbots Ford one nothing lead, you score back. You finally
score your first power play goal in the last seven games,
and then you take a lead killing off another penalty
in which the Roaders PK has started to, you know,
kind of climb back together. Then you take a two
to one lead, Momento is back on your side, and
then Abbotsford runs away with the rest of the game.

(06:25):
So it was tough for Tucson to really try to
just step back and breathe for a sec in that
homestand or really the homestand that's still going because you
just didn't really have time to I think the losses
just kept getting to everybody, and though again it was
it's a it's been a really tough first four games
of this of this series. It's been a really tough

(06:47):
stretch overall for Tucson. You know, since the since the
entire holiday break, you know, we were on a six
game winning streak, team was sixteen to ten, zero and zero.
At are just sweeping the Abbotsford Canucks. And then it
feels like since we've been back from that that post
holiday break, the wins just have been a bit tough

(07:09):
to come by. Roadrunners three eight two and oh in
the thirteen games eight.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
Wait, eight thirteen Okay, yeah, sorry, I had to do
the math.

Speaker 4 (07:19):
Yeah, thirteen games since two sons have been back from
the holiday break and we're three eight two and oh,
and it's it's been a rough stretch.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
It's been a rough patch.

Speaker 4 (07:28):
You know, it feels like this entire season, it's uh,
it's been that kind of season where it's we just
haven't seen the identity of the team fully yet, you know,
had that star We're playing near five hundred hockey, you know,
and then again had the six game winning streak, and
then you just we started to feel like, Okay, now
we're gonna turn it around. This is what we're used to,

(07:49):
We're playing our style, and then we fell back from it.
And there's a lot of contributors to that too, right.
You know, you have Josh Jones, who was called up
to the Utah Howe Key Club, and though we want
Josh Stone to be up with the Utah Hockey Club,
you know, he's still a big missing piece in the
locker room and offensively down here, Andrew a Gazino out

(08:11):
with the long term injury for the time being, recovering well,
but he's still out for maybe up until the end
of February, and he's been a big appet for us
this year too. And then you lose Kevin Connaughton at
the blue line. You get Maverick Lamberu back, but you
lose a big veteran presence of the blue line from
Kevin Cannaughton, h who's covered the injury in that Henderson series.

(08:34):
And then you know, you plug back in the rookies
of Miko Metika and Julian LUTs and Sam Lipkin and uh,
you know, it's all processed with them, right, and they're
still uh, they're finding their way of playing in the
second best league in the world. And then it's just
been tough for the death pieces to find the score
sheet as well. You know, as much as we've loved

(08:54):
the line of Kee Big, Yamamoto and Paganski, you need
all lines rolling, you need all lines scoring goals for you,
and we just we just haven't seen that in this
six game losing streak. And you know, I think the
bride side of looking at it is as much as
we just keep losing these games in tough fashion, it's
going to turn around, right, It's gonna turn around eventually.

Speaker 2 (09:16):
Every team goes through this.

Speaker 4 (09:17):
And I would guess you would rather have two song
going through something like this mid season than the end
of the year.

Speaker 5 (09:25):
Yeah, you said it with the I hadn't even thought
about that how games are such quick succession because they
they ended then the six game went the streak they had.
They had a couple of tough losses in Calgary, but
you know that to be expected. That's did have a
long road trip and they're playing their first team, first
place team and the division and often in the in
the conference, I had the check to see where they
were in the conmence drinkings, but in this common standings.

(09:46):
But so that was kind of expected. But then when
they come back home, they don't have a lot of
time to recover for the envelope, time to fix get
back and fix things, you know, when they have just
two games between a couple of days between the Henderson
series and.

Speaker 3 (10:00):
The and the Atmosphere series.

Speaker 5 (10:05):
So you know, it's kind of the reverse of what
they had when they were going into that to the
Christmas break where they're playing so well, they almost didn't
want to have a break for Christmas because they're just
there's playings a lot when they and the end of
the and the you know end of the calendar or
not in the end of the time before the break
with that sweep of outs for on the road. And
so you come back into town and they have that

(10:27):
you know, disappointing loss, that painful loss in game one
of the years against Henderson where you know they give
up four goals in a row or whatever, yeah, four goals,
and then they fallen over time and what they traditionally
do when they have a game like that this year
is that they come back and they win the next game,
because that's what they were of the season when they
were five hundred.

Speaker 3 (10:47):
They drop one game and then they make sure they
won the same game.

Speaker 5 (10:50):
And and obviously when the when the when when they
went on the one chicking out way about five hundred,
they were winning both those games or they're winning, you know,
more of those games than not. And so when they
came back again and on Tuesday, after that game, they
started strong, they got to go early goal. And asked
Youve about that after the game because it was just
kind of painful, kind of weird loss he had. I
was like kind of wondering if they kind of had

(11:11):
a hangover from the first game, and he said, you know,
I'm strong hangover, psychological hangover.

Speaker 3 (11:15):
They said no, he didn't.

Speaker 5 (11:16):
He didn't think so, because they started off strong and
they came back to start the Atmosphere series. They came
back and then they lost, of course the paintball goal,
giving up last going lest minute to lose. Kind of
similar similar tough circumstances as to the start of the
homestand but and then they came back, they came up
pretty well to start off the game on Saturday, and

(11:39):
the ultimately just and Avat had obviously pulled away. So
it was one of those things around when now they
have a practice week, maybe they can kind of settle
them then kind of look at their lines and get
them more productive, because obviously the heat big Paganski and
Motest line has been doing great, but other than that,
they're not getting a lot of production, especially this last

(12:00):
in terms of stats, you know, this last homestand so
hopefully they can iron that out and hopefully hopefully for them,
and you know, look and looking ahead, this is really
really a really important series coming up because yeah, you
want obviously stop the bleeding and everything, and like we
talked about before, it's kind of double points in that
Ontario is ahead of them and the standings, although at

(12:21):
this point when you're tigh for seventh, everyone almost everyone
in the comments and divisions ahead of you, but you
get the double points where if you get four points
against them that in regulation, then that's four points they
don't get. So that helps out a lot. But it's
also obviously you want stop the bleeding and you have
this big you have the big gym gyms, a road
trip coming up. So that's that's rough. It's gonna be

(12:42):
tough for them to get three three wins that out
of seven like they did last time, especially when they're
playing so that's gonna be it's gonna be really important
to get get a lot of points this this upcoming series.

Speaker 4 (12:54):
Yeah, and you know, I think it's a It sucks
too when when we even before this this homestand had started,
we were saying, you know, what a great time for
us to be back home after that really long trip
going three and four, and we were just saying, like,
let's let's use this advantage. You were going against a
struggling Henderson team who all of a sudden have won

(13:14):
what four or five in a row, and Abbotsford we
knew they were playing good, but we were trying to
use that dilemma of what we swept the once, we
can do it again. And now we still have another
opportunity for two games versus Ontario, a team we've only
played once this season, so we don't really have the
full book on them yet of what our play style
can be like against it. We've only lost a one game.

(13:36):
But yes, it's it's a bubber when you haven't been
able to win at home, especially when the Roadrunners had
a really nice home record going into this series, but
not just one game over five hundred, the home record
near five hundred, still with the losing record on the road,
and yeah, it's just I think, you know, hoping to

(13:56):
get that one last win, hopefully before the Abbotsford series.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
The end of the last Saturday. You didn't get it.

Speaker 4 (14:01):
You had a chance again, And that's also what's been frustrating,
right every one of these games in this homestand we've
been in it, you know again, the four to one
lead on Monday, blowing that and then losing an overtime.
It was a three to three game in the after
the first period in game two, Game three of the
homestand two to with twenty seconds left Abbotsford scores. And

(14:24):
then the Game four you had a two to one
lead at the end of the first period. They've all
been games the Roadrunners have been in it. We just
haven't been able to find ways to close it out.
We haven't been able to keep the leads. We you know,
haven't been able to stop the bleeding and maybe when
we're down by one goals. So every game has been there,
it's been well within reach, but it's just how it

(14:47):
goes in hockey. And again, every team goes through this stretch,
a stretch like this. We've seen other teams way ahead
of us and the standings have you know, four or
five game losses in a row, and now we're just ours.
And as I just said, I'd rather have this happen
now where we can find ways to try to fix it,
rather than it happening at the end of the season

(15:08):
where you know, maybe we potentially have a good spot
and then we lose it and all, yeah, you know,
we won't sugarcoat it.

Speaker 2 (15:14):
James.

Speaker 4 (15:14):
Roadburns are in threat of losing their playoff spot and
being out of a playoff picture for the first time
in probably in months.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
You know, we've had a playoff spot for quite a while.

Speaker 4 (15:25):
There's a bit where we were in the eighth we
were able to surpass Bakersfield and then Bakersfield has been
treading a bit. But uh, and you know, again there's
just so there's so many games left. This is not
a If the Roadruns lose a spot through out, that's it.
It season's over. But you do, as I always say,
I would say maybe ten or so more games, we're
really gonna start looking at that playoff picture. And uh,

(15:47):
you know, I think despite what happens uh this weekend
versus Ontario, that Gem Show trip that's coming up to
in the for the two weeks, is it might be
a make or break trip.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
Who knows.

Speaker 4 (15:59):
I think a lot we'll say from that Ontario series
as well, Like you'll, it'll have a big impact. But
that road trip coming up is also a really big deal.
So for Tucson, and again it's we control a week
of control.

Speaker 2 (16:11):
We can't.

Speaker 4 (16:12):
We can't control what other teams do and of how
they win. But for the road Runners, we need to
figure it out. We need to look ourselves in a
mirror and say, how are we going to get these
next four points of this series, because if we don't,
we might be going into the All Star break out
of a playoff spot.

Speaker 5 (16:29):
Yeah, that's the thing you talked about, or it's it's tough.
You obviously want to do well and get enough points
that you can have a little bit of cushion when
you go on the seven game road trip. But they
do obviously talked about they do have three three games left,
so there's time to catch up, and they do. Even
though they had the six six same win the streak,
they did get a point in that first game of

(16:50):
the home stene and so they're there. You think they'd
be really buried, but they're only ten points back Ontario
second place, and they're only eight points out of the
host hosting all games. So you get another good run,
then obviously you get back up there. But obviously that's
not the parody. Right now, I see port or just
stop the bleeding. And one thing I was thinking about
that that you mentioned was how close they were in

(17:13):
terms of you know, they had in.

Speaker 3 (17:17):
Terms of how far they were off. I mean, if
you look at it on Saturday.

Speaker 5 (17:20):
They they'd lose six to two, obviously, and it was
really bad, playful game. There's a lot of people just
like left when the third period started, and a lot
of people trickle trickled out, So even though it was
a good crowd, they really kind of died out. But
you go back and they give it four goals in
that second period. But if they you know, if they
correct that, then it's a really close game obviously, and
then they give up any other the other big loss

(17:44):
they gave up. What was that, you know, they had
another bad stretch where they and then they correct that
and then they can it's a losing seven to three,
maybe it's four to three they lost, or obviously maybe
they get a chance to win. So they're not really
that far off, even in the ones, even the games
where they're blown out so on, that's something that perps
they can you know, look and do and kind.

Speaker 2 (18:05):
Of just.

Speaker 4 (18:07):
Yeah, and you know, des By how the home stand
is gone, there's a there's still a lot of positives, right,
and we had a lot of good news over the week.
Cameron he Big announced to the twenty four to twenty
five HL All Star Classic. James, We've been talking about
it ever since Danes call up, gosh, like what two
weeks ago now, when we were in Coachella Valley, you know,

(18:28):
talking about who's gonna take his place? Can't be at
Draga Zino he's out with injury, and we're starting to
think either potentially him or sokol Off or even Yabamoda
was in the mix as well. But I think this
was the right choice because Cameron, you know, I think
not just because of the stats, but the story for
he Big, right, you know, signing as a free agent

(18:50):
with the Bakersfield Condors, having a solid rookie season, you know,
second year with the team, not as many points. Signed
the PTO for Tucson and has been with us now
his fifth year as a Roadrunner, having his best season
yet career wise. He's on an eight game point streak
right now Tyme Kyler Yamamoto for the first on the

(19:11):
team with the longest point streak of the season. He
has what is it about, five assists in his last
three games as well, had a four game goal streak
even before that, part of the seven game or part
of the eight game point streak, which is also a
season high. He's had fourteen goals and fourteen assists for
twenty eight points. His fourteen goals are first on the team.

(19:33):
He's second on the team with points behind Yamamoto. And
I think despite everything that happened this week, this was
the most fantastic news we can receive.

Speaker 2 (19:43):
I'm so happy for Cam.

Speaker 4 (19:44):
He's worked so hard to get to this point and
he's really starting to make noise in the league. Everyone
is noticing what Cameron Hebig is doing for two so
on this year, and I think that's just awesome.

Speaker 5 (19:54):
Yeah, it's not just you know, he talked about that
he was on drafted and came in and time with Bickersfield,
then had a really good start, but then kind of
you know, didn't do as well, and then obviously and
ended up with the Arizona past Son organization and then
has become such a mainstay. But it's it's exciting for him,
that exciting for the road owners second produce because he's

(20:15):
really kind of mister Roadrunner in the sense that he
he he was their Man of the Year winter last
year obviously, and then he in January, he he he's
won the hard Work Award. He's the guy that you
can really let the guy's always talk about he's just
a hard worker. Really, I mean he talked about he
hear in the off season he works on his uncle's
farm or his uncles farm.

Speaker 3 (20:35):
I think his uncle's farm. He works on the farm.
That's really cool.

Speaker 5 (20:39):
And he you know, he has a great he has
that great story where he's also coming up coming up
on it looks like he should be able to tie
the or surpass the the Roadrunners all time games played
record hold held by Dyson Mayo, who obviously, you know,
he came in with came in with Anderson and he
had a palely shot was blocked by the way, but

(21:01):
they'll stop.

Speaker 3 (21:02):
By the way.

Speaker 5 (21:02):
But anyway, he also, you know, he's a great story
on everything, but he's also too well deserved. It's not
like he's put in there just because it's a cool story.
He's been great down the stretch, you know obviously in
those yeah, you know, and they've lost, they lost the
last six games, but he's really given them a chance.
He in his line especially, so he's been on fire

(21:25):
obviously lately and he motos On tops in in points
with thirty two at thirty one games, with cam on
four points beyond that. But obviously you talked about he's
leading team and goals and so there's a lot of
good choices to to fill out that spot. And we
were just talking about forwards because obviously want to they
do play a they do play a game, and so
you want to sub it and like for like on that.

(21:48):
So when you're looking at who's gonna come in, it's
gonna be forward and amongst the forwards, you know they
had the potential of getting to who we thighed of
potential for me picked for the Allstars, John Moto Circle
Off and Agazina before he got her. I think them
Camerony just kind of stood out because of hows him
playing lately, how how Purney's been and the great story. Yeah,
but that's not I'm sure that's not why they picked him,

(22:09):
because he's just been He's been doing so will lately.

Speaker 4 (22:13):
Yeah, and he big, as we keep reminding everyone and
again and again. He is in line to break the
all time games played record, breaking the record of Dyson
Mayo at two hundred and seventy nine. So he big
currently at the moment right now is at two hundred
and fifty six career games played with the Roadrunners.

Speaker 2 (22:33):
He has about what was it, I believe.

Speaker 4 (22:36):
Four more games left of tying the second all time
with Michael Bunting, So he needs he will break that
or he will tie that on February eighth against Santos.
Ay continues to play, he will pass Bunting February eleventh
in Bakersfield as a part of the Gem Show trip,
and then he will tie Dyson Mayo on Friday, March

(22:57):
twenty six at Ontario and he should be passing on
March twenty eighth at San Diego.

Speaker 2 (23:02):
So those are the key dates to look.

Speaker 4 (23:04):
At if Cameron Hebig just continues to play every game
for Tucson for the rest of the season, and we
will most likely be recognizing that when we're home on Tuesday,
April first versus Calgary. So again, amazing job by Cameron Hebig.
It's funny how in this offseason we were looking at like, oh, yeah,
Cameron Hebig, he's he could definitely pass the records. But

(23:28):
I think it's more suiting that he's having the season
he's having with the team in one of his best
he probably does best year of his career, and we
still have all the other half to go.

Speaker 5 (23:39):
Yeah, we talked about last week where he's on HL contract,
so he's not gonna be easily moved up. And also
the other thing, notice that you're talking about playing all
those games he was going to get scratch is probably
going to be to get a rest. But he's going
to All Star Game obviously. But the good thing about
the All Star Game are One of the good things
about the Ulster Game for the for the Runners perpective

(24:02):
is that it's in the division again. Last year it
was a little further away. It's in the kind of
the not really northern part, but you know, a little
bit north in San Jose and then this year it's
in Coachella Valley, so nice, nice little drive for them
or I don't know if they fly or whatever that
work because the the All Star festivities they start on
Sunday night are and then that comes after they have

(24:22):
the game on Saturday night. So that's quid turn around,
but it's not it's not like a couple of years
ago when it was in Laval or come up next
year when it's in it's in Rockford.

Speaker 2 (24:33):
I think is it rock for next year?

Speaker 5 (24:36):
Yeah, yeah, So it's it's a bit of a bit
of a travel for them, and it was it's gonna
be tough for the guys coming from the Eastern Conference.
We saw that last last year when there was delays
and whatnot with with the rain and whatnot for guys
coming from the East. But you know, it's it's not
that far a trip, so it's not gonna be the

(24:56):
that that rough hunting because usually be going to Levall
or to Rockford or something like that. So that's the
thing to keep an eye on that it's not a
break for him as much as obviously as far other players,
but it's not going to be continuous and as as
rigorous as it is often.

Speaker 2 (25:15):
Yeah, oh no, sorry, sorry, don't keep going.

Speaker 5 (25:19):
I just think I'm just finished up. I'm just going
to the All Star off facilities.

Speaker 4 (25:23):
Yeah, and it's funny too because usually we always go
on our gym show trip right after the All Star Break,
and we're doing that again. We leave on Wednesday. Let
me get my calendar out just so I had the
exact date. So we are leaving February fifth, and then
we are not going to be back in Tucson, I
believe till the nineteenth. And yeah, then we take on

(25:44):
the Abbotsphurd Canucks again on the twenty second and the
twenty third to start off a four game homestand and yeah,
that's it's tough for probably guys who are all the
way into East Coast in the Eastern Conference to have
to fly all the way over to California too for
the All Star And this is the second year in

(26:05):
the row in which the All Star Break is in California,
and it makes sense to It's made sense to have
San Jose and Coachell Valley host because they have the
two newest arenas in the league right text to you build.

Speaker 2 (26:17):
It was built two years two three years ago.

Speaker 4 (26:22):
And uh Coachell the Actress Arena just being built as
well to house the Coachell Valley Fibrids and I think
Actress Year is gonna be an amazing venue. It's an
awesome arena if anyone no one's ever seen it. Yain
want to take a trip to the All Star break,
I highly recommend and go to watch Cameron Hebig perform
in the skills competition and it's great for Hebig as well.

Speaker 2 (26:41):
You know, we got to talk to him.

Speaker 4 (26:43):
The guy I've never seen such a big smile on
his face. You know, he's so pumped to go, and
it's a big honor. I mean, you're playing with the
best of the best in this league and you get
to represent you know, your team in the All Star Games,
and he BIG's gonna be out there going against really
good competition. I'm really excited to see, like, you know,

(27:05):
what he's able to do with I don't know what
the skills competition is this year, but then we also
have the three on three and it was really fun
watching both Josh Stone and Matthew Willalta last year and
it will be fun watching Cameron hebig this year. But
I remember last year James funny story when it was
in San Jose. The San Jose player Muka Madula, who
was representing the Barracuda, and the All Star Game was

(27:28):
late because they got delayed on their flight back. They
were on some road trip and they had to fly
into San Francisco and then take an uber or a
car whoever got them from the airport to the arena.
And then him and Nick Nolenberger, their broadcaster who was
premiered on the on hl TV for the All Star Games,

(27:51):
my former boss. They made it late. They like finally
made it and it was hilarious, and I'm like, why
would you have them even on the road to be
again with before the All Star Games. So it's tough
for a lot of these guys, and we're lucky that
it's only a five hour drive. I have no clue
how keep it's getting there. I haven't been told those details.
I don't need to know as anyways.

Speaker 2 (28:11):
But uh, but yeah, it's ah.

Speaker 4 (28:13):
It'll be interesting to see how a lot of teams
are gonna find ways to get their guys over there
days after games because a lot of teams have games.
Luckily for us, our social media manager Bennett Silvan and
uh PR coordinator Chase Clemens will actually be going to
the All Star Games. I will be staying at home
since we go on a trip like right after, so
I want to like be home for once. But uh so,

(28:35):
look out for a lot of good content with Cameron
heebig As. We will have some VIB representatives there as well,
and Dusty will be there too, so it's gonna be
a whole party and uh in Palm Springs for the
All Star Games.

Speaker 3 (28:46):
And that's cool. That's I can see Dusty going to.
That's you know.

Speaker 5 (28:52):
That's another thing to think about that the travel, how
it's gonna work, because we need to ask yet, but
I'm gonna asked before the before they ultimately don't do
and take that trip. But something that's kind of weird
and that you're playing with such a quick turnaround that
maybe he maybe he should think about altering the schedule,
but like at least having teams that play on Saturday,

(29:13):
have them play on I'll have those play have those
V Day games or something.

Speaker 1 (29:16):
You know.

Speaker 3 (29:17):
I don't know how that will.

Speaker 5 (29:17):
Work out, but just could kind of trick turn around
because in the in the league, obviously you want to
be playing on Saturdays because it's it's a prime day.
It's a great, great day for attendance. That's one of
the bigger crowds they always have in the league for
notes and to song, but all around the league, so
you want to have them playing on Saturday. And then
the way the schedule works is they have the they
have the skills complished on Sunday, so it's just a
quick turnaround. So it's kind of rough, but you know,

(29:39):
it was funny that they had previous years where they
had where they had the flyout. They've had a situation
where they go out with their with their opponent with
the rival from another team that made the All Star team.
Usually just one one guy makes the other team because
they're such a small because teams are so small, or
at least in the Mister Conference, there's so many players,
there's so many teams, ended up being less players from

(30:02):
each team making the All Star team. So you know,
that's the kind of weird situation where you're fighting, you're
battling for a couple of games and you end up
your your teammates again, your teammates in the way over,
So that's kind of funny.

Speaker 3 (30:13):
And you know, the kind of cool thing is that
it's in the It's in the division.

Speaker 5 (30:16):
Again, you know, being in being in Coachel Valley and
being in California the year before. So it's kind of
cool that Camaspan his holes his whole HL career in
the division in first and Bakersfield for a couple of
seasons and then for to Soon for a last sixth season.

Speaker 3 (30:37):
Sixth seasons had to.

Speaker 5 (30:38):
Count real quick on the just Man, So that's kind
of cool that he's kind of has an experience of
of staying back there and playing in the areen that he
knows well. You know those guys who it's it's a
good venue for because tough travels here. You're coming from
like the northeast or from eastern Canada or something, or
even southeast or whatever, or.

Speaker 3 (30:58):
You know, having that and that travel.

Speaker 5 (31:00):
But it's nice to cook come over and have some
nice weather and you playing an a venue that's good
and you know, pre new is new, and then the
venue that's really packed. You know there's going to be
a lot of support. They're probably minded me it is
so close. They're miminding me some the good continued Roturans fans,
because the Runners fans are so they travel while you know,
they always see some guys. We always see some fans
and opposing arenas went on the road. So and obviously

(31:24):
the you know those sees, ticket holders and whatnot are
really dedicated.

Speaker 3 (31:29):
And so you could see some Roadurans fans over at
the game.

Speaker 4 (31:34):
Yeah, I would not be shocked if we see a
good amount of Kachina jerseys in the crowd, just because yeah,
it's the closest the All Star will ever get to
us unless we do host an All Star one day.
But for the time being, it's going to be a
really fun, uh weekend for those in attendance.

Speaker 2 (31:49):
I wanted to go.

Speaker 4 (31:50):
I was thinking of before this whole promotion. I was
telling a jam like, I want to go to the
All Star Games, and it was the plan for the
time being. But then obviously with the Gems Show trip
being right after, I wouldn't mind a couple of days
at home to just kind of get caught up, and
I'll be watching the All Star Games of course from
my from my room or from my house, so it'll, uh,

(32:10):
it'll be a really good time, really excited to see
Cameron hebig and just showcase of the HLU. Why he's uh,
he's made it to the All Star and you know,
speaking of his line mates and and going back to
the games and what his line has really accomplished in
these past few games. I mean it's the line if him, yeah, Modem, Pagansky,

(32:31):
one of them or each of them have at least
been involved in Tucson's last seven goals. Yes, that's good
for that line, I mean, scoring seven goals in what
four games? But it's not good because those are only
the goals we have scored in the last four games.
Is the seven goals or whelet's say four waydon Sorry,

(32:51):
I might have done this math bunk so four in
the first game, uh, three in the second so more
than that, Sorry, I'm getting all mixed up. So in
the last three games, pardon last three games, they have
contributed to all the goals. And you know, with that
being said, it's it's tough when you have that one
line working but the other ones just aren't producing the points.

(33:13):
But again, it's all the positives. Cameron hebick eight game
point streak. Yamamoto has three multiple point games in a row.
It's the second time he's done that this season. He's
the only Roadrunner this year who's over a point per
game pace with thirty two points and thirty one games played.
And so Paganski also has a four game point streak
right now, in five points in that four game stretch,

(33:35):
and that line just continues to work. It's the only
line that's kind of been together the whole season. And
that's what the positives, that's the positive looking at it, James,
is once the other lines get rolling and this line
continues to produce like it has been, then the Roadrunners
will get right back on track.

Speaker 3 (33:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (33:53):
Do you guys have a name for that line? Because
I asked, I asked Steve after the game on Tuesday,
asked about the line, and he's while I've been playing
on those even before they had those other two game,
two good games against Atmospherd, recall them all. That's kind
of our new Duggernut line. So do you guess have.

Speaker 4 (34:10):
Well I called the Juggernut line of Douglas Sparron and Drew.
I started naming the line maybe the Vet line a
little bit. Uh, you know, I just it's it's tough
to find a name. But like I said, VET, because
you have Yamamoto who has three hundred NHL games under
his belt, Butganski's the captain and then he bigs been
with the Roadrunners for five seasons. So uh, I called

(34:31):
it the VET line because you just have very skilled
veterans in the mix with you know, even though Yamamoto
is only twenty six years old, he still has played
three hundred games in the NHL. And it's funny because
we call him Vets, but all of them are you know,
not even thirty years old yet. But with that being said, uh,
definitely the Uh yeah, I was just called the veteran

(34:51):
line for the time being, but it's it's the best
line for Tucson at the moment. I like the I
like the lipkin Let's Metika line for a bit. You know,
maybe the new new edition of the Kid line for
the Roadrunners got that line did some nice work. Juggernaut
lines always sticking together as always. But then you know
McGregor's been plugged in a few times. Uh Ratus still

(35:14):
finding his pace too, and then you know, still got
Igor Sokoloff who started to kind of find his game
a little bit. But now it's been kind of taken
off the scoreesheet again and again. It's just everyone needs
to contribute to the wins. It's it's a team win
and then team loss at the end of the day.
But once those other lines start producing with the current

(35:35):
VET line that's getting all the points right now for Tucson, it's, uh,
it will all come together and we're gonna start seeing
the wins again.

Speaker 5 (35:44):
Yeah, I was thinking probably VET line is really good
on because they they're all like twenty six twenty seven
on those guys. Kyler, you know, he he he started
in the league and then obviously played a lot of
games in INTEL and then Evic you know, said that's
seven games or his eight season. He's a bunch of
a bunch of coming up on the record for games
played for DUSA and Pagaski's obviously played a lot of

(36:06):
games in the league, So that was kind of I
was kind of looking maybe a Millennial line, but then
I was like, oh no, look Motus or ninety eight
and Millennial the breakoff years ninety six. So he's he's
older Jeriatic whatever they say gen Z kind of weird name,
but he's he's older gen Z so that that's not
gonna work. But yeah, VET line works out really well
because they they really produced and they really they're really mature.

(36:30):
One of the things asked about Kyler about that how
they were playing, and obviously he's not gonna he's the
guy who's really intense, and really he's the guy who
you think maybe he was kind of focused on getting
back to the league, and obos he is, but he's
really a team guy. So he's really he's really bummed
after the game on Tuesday, even though he had a
couple of goals. He's one of the stars the night,
even though I lost. He I want to asked him

(36:53):
about how they're playing, and he's like, well, you know,
I mean, we're playing well, but it doesn't matter.

Speaker 3 (36:56):
We're not winning.

Speaker 5 (36:57):
So that's he sees something for the while where they're
where they'll pointing up good numbers, but they're just not
Their teammates aren't scoring as much as they are. So
it's great to see them do well, but it's also
kind of it's like I said, it's concerning that they're
not putting numbers around them, but it's great to look
back and see how all those guys are doing, especially guys,

(37:18):
veteran guys, leader, leader guys who you know they're not
they're not all. We're in the sweat, we're in the
letter on their sweater. Obviously Kyler when they picked out
the captains and the assistant captains, he was he was
up at inchell, so he didn't get the opportunity to
be one of those guys. But he plays like it. Certainly,
he's he's a he's a de facto captain, so the

(37:39):
facto assistant captain whatever. So that there line that's really
leading well. And I think the veteran line, the vet
line or the veteran line is really really good name
for them.

Speaker 4 (37:50):
Yeah, regardless, it's the line that's produced for Tucson. Finally
got the exact numbers, so sense that overtime loss versus
on the Henderson Silver Nights. Uh So, since the Tuesday game,
either either Paganski, lip sorry Paganski Yamamoto or Hebig have
been involved in the seven of our last seven goals,

(38:12):
with the accession of Zuber, Lamberu, Duda and Lipkin getting
points on some of those. Uh that line has just
been getting us all the goals. And again, as much
as it's been playing Gamamoto's right. I mean, at the
end of the day, you're still losing, and it sucks.
And you know, the way I see it is, you
know when we see the team losing, Yeah, you know,

(38:33):
we want these guys to win, but just imagine how
they're feeling, right, you know, they're they're the ones putting
their their bodies out there.

Speaker 2 (38:39):
They're the one putting themselves on the line.

Speaker 4 (38:41):
Uh, They're the ones trying to work hard and get
victories not only for themselves but their their coaches, their friends, family,
just you know, and it sucks to see it. But again,
there's there's just so so much time left to go
in the season.

Speaker 2 (38:55):
It's a rough stretch for Tucson.

Speaker 4 (38:56):
It's a stretch we haven't seen in at least the
last two season because Tucson never had a losing skid
this long in their you know, forty three wins season
last year.

Speaker 2 (39:07):
So yeah, just need some soul searching to do.

Speaker 4 (39:10):
You have a nice practice week and just need to
start trying to find ways to regrow. But again, other
positives too. We saw Artem Duda and Max Zuber have
a good homestand to of them getting goals the third
time this season that Tucson has seen multiple goals from defenceman.
Zuber and Duda even did it on November ninth versus
the San Diego goals. Kevin Cannadin, who's not in the lineup,

(39:32):
the only Road Runs defenseman to score two goals in
a game as well, and Ardam Duda tied with Robbie
Russo now in total points from defenseman on the team,
and Artam Duda also leading all rookies for the Roadrunners
in points as well. So again, you know, guys like
Ardam Duda are still having a tremendous rookie seasons due

(39:56):
to two goals, fourteen assists for sixteen points.

Speaker 2 (39:58):
Zuber's starting to find an and that's a little bit
as well.

Speaker 4 (40:01):
And even Sam Lipken got a nice assist on that
Kylie Yamamoto goal in which he came out of the
box off of that PK.

Speaker 2 (40:08):
So uh. Still, we always try to look at the positives.

Speaker 4 (40:12):
We try to see, you know, this is what's going
good for Tucson despite this six game losing streak, But
we need to find ways to get more of that
good to end it and get back on the winning column.

Speaker 3 (40:24):
Yeah, another couple of positives were off the ice or
guess sort of on the ice. Is that there.

Speaker 5 (40:31):
They came out with some new video bumpers or whatever
video stuff, so that that was cool. I love those,
so let's go to son things. There's one there's still
one that was from it's not I'm sure it's not
from the people currently with the team. It's one of
the older one that they miss spelled lets. So that's
gonna that that that they should get them fixing that
one because it's it's cool, fun, but it doesn't have

(40:52):
the apostrophe after L E. T, which actually I looked
it up. I was like, because I was so used
to let's I was like, does that actually me? It's
a contraction for let let us go? So but other
than that, they had the new let Let's go to
soon videos were cool, and then they had they had
a nice video intro for the MLK Day game. They
had cool on video before before the other games, and

(41:13):
they had some cool ones in there, so that's cool.
Kudos that those guys, those men and women who work
on the video board and that one on that thatt're
not well.

Speaker 3 (41:23):
And also.

Speaker 5 (41:25):
There was a good crowd on there's a couple of
good crowds on Friday and Saturday, and that's one of
the kind of shames that they lost those two games,
that they kind of waste those really good crowds. So
probably looking ahead then they might have a couple of
good good crowds coming up with another Alasso night or
should say on Friday and then to ender a road
trip imtended homestand a Wizard which is night, so that

(41:47):
that could be a cool and maybe an opportunity for
for some funny videos. Where one of the funny one
of the best videos they had on the beach night
the last game on Saturday was I forget what it
was that they said, like who is the most likely
to wear socks on the beach or shoes on the
beach or something, and then someone said att mat Velosa
and then he was mad. He was over on the side,

(42:08):
He's like, no way, man, no way, those are So
that was good to have some more of those on Saturday.

Speaker 4 (42:16):
Yeah, we're recording our our next game ops shoot this
upcoming Wednesday after practice. I don't know what's in line,
but it's gonna be a lot of content because uh,
you know, since we go on the Gem Show trip
coming up and everything, So getting a lot of content.

Speaker 2 (42:29):
Uh this upcoming on Wednesday as well.

Speaker 4 (42:31):
All right, let's listen to our interviews before we close
things off, because I almost forgot about our interviews. We
have Steve Povin and Austin Begancy after Saturday's game, Elianna
Diiber catching up with both of them. We'll start off
with Steve Povin just talking about, uh, you know, what's
it gonna take to get pass this losing skid and
uh looking ahead to Ontario.

Speaker 6 (42:51):
Okay, coach, Regardless of tonight's loss, the team still had
a strong personal effort within this series. How do you
evaluate their execution?

Speaker 7 (42:59):
You know what, if you look at our first period,
that's a well executed period.

Speaker 3 (43:04):
I thought we.

Speaker 7 (43:04):
Played with a lot of passion. We were committed to
each other, and we executed everything that we needed to
And we're difficult team to play against when we have
that type of commitment to our game plan. So look
at it. It's unfortunate because we did put ourselves in
a good position tonight, and you know, unfortunately you get

(43:27):
behind and then you know you start to, yeah, a
little self doubt kind of creeps in a little bit.
Then you know, you start to grip the stick a
little bit tighter, and then you know you're trying to
do things at the end of periods to try to
or end to shifts, to try to you know, capitalize
on maybe some of their weaknesses and the puck ends

(43:47):
up in our net after a turnover at the end
of a power play. Those are you know, things through
our game management we got to take care of if
we didn't take care of it.

Speaker 6 (43:57):
And then moving forward into next week, as the coach,
where's your focus for the team?

Speaker 7 (44:02):
Well, we've got a couple of days off here. I
think it's that's a good thing. The boys will get
together and the boys will be boys here and there.
They're going to have to sit down and have some
some good man conversations, I think, and you know, I
dare them to try not to really talk about hockey,
to be honest, get away from the game and then

(44:24):
come back with a fresh, clean type of attitude. And honestly,
we're the ones that control it. So I think it's
best to let it all out, let it go, come back,
acknowledge it, move.

Speaker 6 (44:35):
On, Thank you, coach, good luck with next week.

Speaker 2 (44:39):
That's a good point, James.

Speaker 4 (44:40):
So the guys actually had their rookie party this past
week in which they you know, just don't want to
go much into it, but yeah, pretty much rookies. I'll
pay for the dinners of where they go to and
I believe those all in the Phoenix Scottsdale areas. So yeah,
a couple of days off for the guys. I like
what Steve said there, don't talk about hockey. Let's just

(45:00):
focus on, you know, having a good time, having fun.
You know, because the more, again, the more you think about,
as he said, you start to grip that stick a
little bit more, you start having the self doubts, all
the negativity goes over through your mind. And you know
that if the more you think about the negativity, it's
just gonna keep showing out there on the ice and

(45:21):
in life as well. So hopefully the guys can kind
of breathe a little bit unwind and get back to
practice this upcoming Tuesday.

Speaker 5 (45:31):
Yeah, that's the other thing I didn't think about that
we have this coaching staff is great a kind of
dealing with even though they haven't had a lot of
a lot of six save the streaks under under the
coaching staff. When when I talked about the when I
first covered the team a few years ago.

Speaker 3 (45:49):
That was the That was the year between one Steve was.

Speaker 5 (45:53):
He was an assistant that point on the year before
he was the during the COVID year, the main COVID
year in twenty twenty one where he was he took
over the team when when ja Vardi moved up to
help out with the Coyotes in the NHL with all
the they know one another coach because of COVID and everything.
So that was his first year and then the year

(46:15):
as talking about, was in between when he was but
before he took over full time as a head coach.
That was a year when they were kind of stronging
like that. But so obviously they have a lot of
games like losey stricks like this. But this this coaching
staff is I think us really grew up well for
that one because they're really kim On the Rival podcast
they say rival, but you know the the other On
the Happy Hour show on Slash podcast, she would say

(46:38):
that he has really good emotional intelligence.

Speaker 3 (46:40):
To me, it's really.

Speaker 5 (46:42):
Really good psychological coach where he really understands the guys
and he understands that maybe it's not for not for
every guy's not just gonna yell at them or to
get them to play better or you know, it's not
gonna every every time that they're having a player's only meeting.

Speaker 3 (46:55):
It's not gonna work. You know.

Speaker 5 (46:56):
It's the kind of stuff to do kind of fix
that and kind of make those a and so that
would really help out to get out of this, get
out of this rut and stop the bleeding.

Speaker 2 (47:06):
Yeah, that's you know, that's all we can do, right.

Speaker 1 (47:09):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (47:10):
You know, it's not screaming and yelling and saying do better.
You know, it's it's just not how it goes. And
I don't think you treat life like that too. I
never believe in yelling. Obviously I'm not a head coach,
but I never believe yelling is the answer. You know,
it's sometimes you just have to take a step back
and uh and look at the big picture. And you know,

(47:30):
I'm sure a lot of these guys will do that
this upcoming week and say, listen, we're still in the
playoff spot. We're one game over five hundred, we're on
a six game skid, But I think the big picture
is we're still in this. We saw plenty of season
left to turn it around.

Speaker 2 (47:45):
And you know, I.

Speaker 4 (47:48):
Think the only pressure is if you don't turn it
around very soon, then you're gonna be outside looking in
the playoffs because obviously you keep losing games, you're you're
not going to get the needed points. So I would
say that's the only pressure on Tucson right now. Well,
you're on a six game losing streak, look outside, look
at the big picture, but know that if you don't

(48:08):
turn it around very soon, it's gonna make it more
and more harder to not only stay within playoffs, but
try to get that fourth place spot to host a
first round of the Calder Cup playoffs like we were
able to accomplish last year. Let's also listen to our
captain Assa mcgansky before we close things out here.

Speaker 2 (48:28):
He also was.

Speaker 4 (48:29):
Joined by our very own Elianna Diebert to talk about
the six game losing streak and what yousaon again needs
to do to regroup and bounce back this up becoming
weekend versus Ontario, What two.

Speaker 6 (48:40):
Games remaining of the six game homestand how do you
and the team feel moving forward into the next week.

Speaker 8 (48:45):
Yeah, no, it's definitely a frustrating stretcher. In right now.
But I think it's to the point where it's got
to hit the reset button. You know, I'll get back
to the fundamentals and just play roadrunner hockey, just getting
fucks in, finishing hits. We're not the most skilled team,
but we'll all work any team we've gotta get.

Speaker 6 (49:00):
Thank you, good luck next week.

Speaker 2 (49:03):
Yeah, that's a good point, James.

Speaker 4 (49:04):
Uh. And even last year too, Like Tucson, it doesn't
rely on the on the skill, right, They rely on
their their structure, their their hits, their four checks, you know,
grinding the puck into the corners and you know, just
working teams throughout each and every game.

Speaker 2 (49:18):
And that was our bread and butter. Last year.

Speaker 4 (49:20):
It was you know, taking taking a lead and holding
on to it for the rest of the game, whether
it was a one goal game or not.

Speaker 2 (49:28):
And this year we it's just been a little different.

Speaker 3 (49:30):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (49:30):
There's been a lot of games where we've allowed the
first goal and had slow starts. There's been games where
we've had quick starts, but then we ended off slow
and we it bites us back and we don't end
up winning the game. And you know, I think when
when Tucson finds that structure. Again, we're gonna be just
fine and uh again, you know we've saw some of

(49:51):
that back Roadrunners went what was it went forward to
form the PK. Uh this past game versus Abbotsford before
that went five for five, so nine for nine on
the PK in the two games versus the Canucks. After
the PK was struggling mightly, especially on that road trip,
you know which the Roadrunners allowed four straight games with
a power play goal. We even scored a power play

(50:13):
goal snapping a seven game skid on the Saturday game
versus Abbotsford. So we saw some process, We saw some progress,
especially in that's Abbotsford series where we were in both
of those games. But now you just got to get
over that hump for this upcoming series.

Speaker 5 (50:31):
Yeah, they have that great runnners way where they play
where it's it's something to son to be proud of
in terms of they play hard and they don't have
obviously do have some guys like Umbdon and Lamarue coming
through the big stars, the big prospects plays also have
a lot of guys like he Big that are really
guys the town's proud of that that work hard and

(50:53):
they get those results so it's tough a situation right
now where they when you're giving up, like when you're losing,
when you're down like six to two, we're seven to
three or something, you can't really hit your way out
of it. You have to get good starts and something
that they've had they've been doing sometimes where they they
give up early goal or something, but the next game
they come back and they give up that they'd score

(51:13):
the early goal and then but then they have that
kind of tough situation where they get play goals. So
they need to kind of make sure that they give
up less shots and let their goalies have a little bit,
a little bit of a break and generate more offense.
But it's a they have the opportunity to do it
with the with the private practice week coming up. So
it's gonna be interesting, gonna be a good, good, good,

(51:36):
a good series to see when they come up against
Ontario because the Terarao is a good team and Runners
are a good team on paper, just not playing so
well right now. So they're desperate against those wins because
you know, obviously it's it's still January and at the
end of that series will be the very beginning of February,
So there's still plenty of time to get back into
the play of times in terms of the games remaining,
to get back into the playoff hunt, to get back

(51:57):
into hosting a position to host the game. But it's
so easy to get buried in this league. I mean
I asked Steve about that after that Henderson series that
I was like, well, they did not look like a
last place team.

Speaker 3 (52:07):
I said, oh, no, they didn't.

Speaker 4 (52:09):
You know.

Speaker 5 (52:09):
He talked about last year how San Diego and it
was the hardest team they played, even though they were
they're buried in Sandy's from US of the year. They
were a tough team they played. And then San Jose
was doing it so well in the Sandy's last year,
but they were really tough to play. So it's just
a it's just a brutal division where you're not gonna
it's gonna be really, really hard to climb up if
you get buried after this upcoming JEMP Show road trip,

(52:29):
so it's important to get as many points as possible.

Speaker 4 (52:32):
Yeah, well look ahead to the jem Show trip, but
two big games coming up against Ontario and win or lose,
it's an entire team effort everybody needs to step up
in this upcoming series, and I'm really looking forward to
what the Roadrunners will give us after a nice practice
week and just knowing what's on the table and what

(52:53):
is at stake as we get into the second half
of the season. All Star break coming up right after,
we will talk about the All Star Break again. Right
before Cameron Hebig joins all the other stars of the
AHL in Coachella Valley. Kim Codor, Robas and I will
be back Tuesday night for our usual Tuesday night get together.
We will be trying to get the All Star Cameron

(53:14):
Hebig one last time to talk about how he's feeling
about his All Star bid and again just what Tusaw
needs to do to get back into the swing of
things as well.

Speaker 2 (53:23):
James, thanks for joining me again.

Speaker 4 (53:25):
