Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Coast Breakfast Bonus Podcast with Tony Jason Sam Hi.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
Thanks for listening to our Breakfast Bonus podcast. Today we're
all about New York. We've announced on Coast to the
radio station that Tony streets ten thousand dollar Big Spin.
The promo promotion is going to be a chance for
you and a friend to wing your way to New
York on in New Zealand, flying premium economy, but then
getting to spend time not just in Manhattan but throughout
New York State.
Speaker 3 (00:21):
It's just one of those destinations that I feel like
you have to go to before you die, and I
have never been, and so personally as a New York version,
I'm really looking forward to Broadway as a theater absolute
like nut. I just the thought of going to Broadway
just feels me have so much excitement. Do you know what,
It wouldn't even matter and that that's the beauty of it, right.
(00:42):
They have so many different shows on at any given time.
Speaker 2 (00:44):
Yeah, and a lot of them start actually people from
the movies who or TV shows who actually tread the
boards as it as a hobby.
Speaker 3 (00:49):
Hugh Jackman just goes and hops up and is a
lead character the area Minzel from Frozen. Frozen actually would
be pretty epic on Broadway.
Speaker 4 (00:58):
Wicked or Wicked, I'm on my bucket list.
Speaker 5 (01:01):
I mean one of the things I have done in
New York is I mean there's the meat Packing District,
which is a wonderful place to be.
Speaker 4 (01:06):
Did you go and watch meat being packed?
Speaker 5 (01:09):
It's not really what it is anymore, that's the history
of it, but it's effectively a boardwalk that takes you
to restaurants and a lot of the history of downtown
New York. Yeah. Some of my fondest memories at rooftop bars.
They do it very very well. And I'll tell you what.
I'd love to take you guys too. And I went
there on my last trip and my wife was less
(01:29):
of a fan of this. But the Space Museum. I
love the Space I can't remember what the actually maybe, well, you're.
Speaker 4 (01:38):
At the Space Music. I could go to Broadway.
Speaker 5 (01:40):
No, no, no, no, you are coming to this. There
is so let me tell you about it. There is
so many wonderful things. There's a concord.
Speaker 4 (01:46):
Okay, am I excited about this?
Speaker 5 (01:48):
You know what a concord is? Not really the French,
the super Sonic, Supersonic Jane that you used to be
able to go to New York in like five hours.
Speaker 4 (01:56):
No, but what do you mean do you we just
look at it. You can't even get it game. But
I'm like, at least I'm flying the concord.
Speaker 5 (02:03):
No, do you know what else you could get in though?
A capsule that's been into space. It's all the NaSTA
stuff is all there as.
Speaker 4 (02:09):
Well, geting claustrophobic speaking about it.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
The space shuttle partly one is your space shuttles parted
inside the time?
Speaker 4 (02:14):
Yeah, challenger, what's not the challenge? That's something that's unfated.
Speaker 3 (02:22):
It would be the best sort of space experience if
you went and then they just put you in that
shuttle and they were like you can stay there for
a year like those poor extern up.
Speaker 5 (02:30):
See they're not back to February.
Speaker 4 (02:32):
What it feels like to be stuck on the moon.
Speaker 5 (02:34):
Yeah, it was meant to be eight days and now
they will experience. They'll come back.
Speaker 4 (02:38):
Is it taller or shorter?
Speaker 5 (02:39):
It's one of the two.
Speaker 4 (02:40):
They come back taller semi. Because I.
Speaker 6 (02:48):
Was like, gave you because I think you know, with gravity,
get keen to.
Speaker 4 (02:58):
Come back.
Speaker 6 (02:58):
And what it does is I think you lose the
compression of your spine. That gravity kind of God.
Speaker 3 (03:08):
You don't really need it in the tour, so do you?
Speaker 6 (03:14):
I tell you what if I came up with a
longer spine, didn't it look like something from space? Because
when I met Steven and that was the weird thing.
I was like, with the same height apart from our legs.
So I have a whopping tors away.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
Or if you listen to win, it's amazing trip. So
many great FeAs in New York and the Space Museum.
