Speaker 1 (00:08):
Okay, cass up little food for you. So life. Oh
it's pretty much, it's pretty beautiful. Thank you. That's a
little month you're kicking with. Four Happy Thursday four Thanks
(00:34):
fam Amy here and I'm here with my friend cat,
but a different cat, not therapy cat. Around my house cat.
We call you cryo cat. We have two cats that
come over. But I met you a couple of years ago. Yeah,
crying therapy. So we're actually gonna be talking about that
a little bit today. In addition to alternatives to year's resolutions,
(00:54):
picking your word of the year, have you ever picked
a word of the year? Never until now, until you
sit you list. Okay, I sent your list, So we're
gonna walk through that, and then we're also going to
talk about staying in joy with gratitude and then other
random things that come up. Just because it's like two
girlfriends talking. Cat was a little bit nervous before we
hit record, which is normal and natural. I was explaining
to her that my sister gets nervous even before we record,
(01:17):
but she was like, okay, breath then breath though, it's
just like two girlfriends talking, and then I'm so talkative
when we're in the living room totally at the store,
and then I just had a microphone and out down.
But here we are, yeah, and so everyone listening, it's
like they're our girlfriends. There's a few guys that listen
to so maybe guy friends. But when we're at the store,
(01:38):
like hanging out where we do cry. Oh the there's
guys sometimes that are hanging out there. Someone said the
other day. Well, I can't remember who, but they're like,
are you gonna work here now? Because I was like
holding towels and hanging out. But we do love Restore,
that's where we go. Well, you actually worked there. I
worked there because I had a daily membership for probably
(02:00):
half a year, and then I realized, why don't I
just work here. I was in a funk. I needed
something to do on the weekends because I didn't feel
productive enough. You like, different job during the week yes, yes, yes,
different design light during the weekend. But yeah, I was
in a funk in two thousand and nineteen and I
just needed to get out, Like I needed a place
(02:22):
to go on the weekends where I figure I can
make a little money. Well, you know, and the treatments, Yes,
I get to do all the treatments. Cat has been
a joy in my life to get to know over
the last two years. And then our sons have become
friends and they hang out a lot, which it's been
fun having cry okat over. And yeah, we'll talk about
(02:43):
cry therapy and a little bit. But I want to
talk about the word of the year and New Year's resolutions,
well alternatives to it, I guess, is really what we're
gonna be talking about, because I think anybody can just
set a New Year's resolution, but what are some ideas
a little bit outside of the box if you're wanting
to do something different? And I saw that some people
do these goals in a jar where you put a
(03:04):
bunch of goals. Some of them you may get to,
some of you may not, because it depends on which
one you draw it does on how many you want
to put in. An example would be if you want
to do it quarterly, you can put maybe four to five, six,
seven goals in the jar, and it's kind of fun
to see which one you end up drawing out, and
then that's the one you focus on for that quarter.
(03:25):
So for three months you focus on that goal, going
on runs or I mean, whatever it may be. You've
told me before that one of your news resolutions is
to use less toilet papers, paper products. I like to
look at it silly for the full year, but I
think if we want to make a change, then let's
just go on a Monday, you know, and change our
lie or why not right now? Let's not put all
(03:47):
this pressure because there's a new year to do all
these things and then you're overwhelmed. So it's like, why
don't we make small changes? And that's the thing, Like
it should be fun, Like you could even make a
jar right now and not wait till ry first to
bust out your jar. But it's just a fun way
to take off the pressure and kind of exciting too,
because you don't know which one you're gonna draw out,
but you could make a list of whatever it is.
(04:08):
Maybe you even when we talk about word of the year,
you put a bunch of words in a jar and
I'll give you all some you can jot down, and
then you draw it and if it resonates with you,
then well that could be your word of the year
or your word for the quarter. And then for three
months you focus on making sure you're doing breathing exercises
every day, making sure you're getting outside a certain amount
(04:29):
of time during the week. The goals could really be anything.
Then practicing mindfulness is another alternative making a bucket list.
If you have any bucket list items, do you have
anything on your life bucket list? I got to see
Celendion in concert just before the world shut down, so
that was on your bucket list to see Celendion life.
(04:49):
I really wanted to do it in Vegas, but she
was actually coming to Nashville, and so I was like, well,
this is easier. I live here, so I'm doing it.
What about making a vision board? Have you ever done that?
I have never? Okay, maybe maybe I remember as a
kid doing a lot of collages, like books of collages,
but never a big poster board. Yeah. I mean I
think you could do it in a book form too,
(05:11):
however you want to do it. It's just having a
visual of things that you can see and sort of
meditate on, and that way they're they're in your sight,
like you don't forget them. It doesn't mean you don't
have to work for them and figure out a way
to make it happen. So people are like, oh, I
looked at that every day on my vision board and
nothing happened and they just set there. Well, it's just
(05:31):
a way to like have it in your's a different
way to set a goal. Yeah, not so laid out.
And it's fun to get together with girlfriends and you
get a bunch of magazines and scissors and you cut
it all out. My daughter has done it with me before,
and so it's just fun. And then you beat onsion
board and then yeah, well, actually I think my daughter
is the one that put acting on her vision board,
(05:51):
and then somehow I got the acting gig this year,
but maybe that will lead to her getting one. One
day we did both put kittens on our vision board
year and then six months later while we got our cat.
Another thing that we can do is find the word
of the year, which I had sent you a whole
list of words, since you've never done it before, and
(06:12):
so which which words stood out to you, because I
don't know what mine is going to be. Still thinking
on it, I can't remember my one for this year,
but I know I had one at the beginning of
two is kind of like a blur. But one my
word was water, and that was because I wanted to
drink more water, which you're really good at you're like
the queen of drinking about a day. That's crazy. I mean,
(06:37):
good for you, but it might be too much. But
that's just what I do. I start with a fifty
point seven ounce Essentia Iceland, whatever, and then refill it
at the office two more times and then that's the day. Well,
I am probably averaging fifty so I need to That's
still that's still pretty good. I feel like I try
(06:59):
not to put press are myself anymore of abiding bio.
I need this many ounces because everybody's body is so different,
Like who really knows what you need? Because my children
they don't really need water, it's bonkers, but they didn't
grow up having access to a lot of water at
the orphanage, and so I think that their bodies served
used to not having a lot of water. But I
know when I do drink it, I'm like a flower
(07:21):
pedal blooming. Yeah, I'm like, oh I'm coming alive. But
really it wasn't just to drink more water. It was
to be more go with the flow, like water, because
I just felt so uptight. You are a Pisces, that
is the mutable go with the flow, yeah, and so
I change you guess life has changed me, and I
have no idea what my word will be. What words
(07:43):
stood out to you from the list that I sent? Okay, Well,
there are two and they both start with a's. One
is abundance and one is a line. I got stuck
for years living in a scarcity mindset. So over the
past two years I practice abundance. Abundance, abundance like I
have everything I need within me and around me to
(08:04):
be okay. And then the other one was a line.
And I just feel like if all of us truly
get an alignment with ourselves, the universe will reward us.
Don't change yourself or force things to be what isn't
you write? Do what feels right, and you will be rewarded. Yeah,
(08:24):
that's my mind. I love those two words you so,
abundance and alignment. It's so much easier to just say
a word in your head. It's almost like, what is
it a mantra? Just just say it over and over
throughout the year. Then oh, my gosh, I said, you know,
my New Year's resolution is this diet or that? You know,
it's just too many things that get and the pressure
(08:45):
of that yes, and where you can like sit with
the word and study it and research it, maybe even
get to the root of it, and then look quotes
that have that work into it. Yes, tattooing, abundance on
your I have it all. Um. Some other words, just
to throw them out there for anyone else thinking about
(09:06):
doing this. Compassion, intentional, bliss, strength, resilient, confidence, believe, wellness, commit,
generous action, forgive, learn, breathe, serenity, magical, plentiful, imagine, curiosity.
I love curiosity, Thrive, Simplify. Oh, I feel like I'm
(09:27):
simplifying sort of. I'm trying to a lot of you.
Earlier I was reading this, Yes you are. I'm grounding
and resetting. You're purging, Yes, purging, You're doing a total
reset and just kind of evaluating everything in your life.
And yeah, I do like kiss keep it simple? Is
that one here? No, I was like that. I don't know,
(09:49):
but I do try to. That's another word that I
try to tell myself is keep it simple. Yeah, stupid
but silly. Keep it simple, silly, Yeah, because we don't
want to say stupid. Yes, because that is a thing
when we do that. I find myself doing that, and
that's something I've really been trying to work on. And
we've talked about that on the podcast before. Is sometimes
and your kids hear you too, Like if you mess
something up and then under your breath you say, oh,
(10:10):
it's a stupid It's like your subconscious hears you saying that,
and that's a message you're sending to yourself, and your
kids also hear it, and then they might start to
say to themselves that they're stupid, and then their little
brains are thinking that, and we need to not do that. Empowered,
prosper surrender, calm, joy. Those are the words on here
(10:33):
which joy makes me think of this Burnet Brown quote
I've even mentioned on the podcast before, but I came
across it again the other day and pulled it because
I feel like it just spoke to me again and
I was like, Okay, I feel this. I needed this reminder.
So sometimes I feel like if I need a reminder,
somebody else needs it too. And here's what Burne Brown
said about staying in joy with gratitude. Joy is deeply vulnerable.
(10:58):
We're afraid to lean in joy because something might rip
it away and we'll get sucker punched by disappointment or pain.
But there's a way to stay in joy. When we
feel that quiver of vulnerability. Instead of dress rehearsing tragedy
and waiting for the other shoe to drop, let that
shutter be a reminder to practice gratitude. Which I was like,
oh okay, I got this. So when I have that
(11:21):
shutter sometimes I mean I'm I practice gratitude, but not
sometimes when I have those thoughts. But I love that
she was reminding me when I came across that again
to like, if I'm waiting for that other shoe to
drop when I have that feeling, stop almost like stop
drop and roll, but stop drop and get out my
whole things gratitude or some feel joy, feel joy so
(11:41):
that I can tap into that joy, which I showed
you are brand new four Things Gratitude journals because we're
super pumped that there's two fun new cover options this
time around, which if you want to order them as gifts,
they would make really awesome Christmas gifts. And I feel
like we upped our game this year too, not only
with the two color options, but we put quotes on
(12:02):
every single page. We used to just have quotes like
every ten pages, but now they're on every page. And
then there's two new recipes in the back for things
dot Com of the proceeds going to Haiti through Project
Meta Share, so you can feel good about your purchase.
It's a win win gift. So I think I thought
of a word of the year Vegas because your veggat nerve. Yes,
(12:27):
not Los Vegas, but vegest nerve. Yeah, I feel like
that might be my word. I want to do all
kinds of things to stimulate my vagus nerve, which if
you'll aren't familiar, that is part of your brain and fine. Yeah,
And I looked it up after I started doing cryotherapy
because while when I was there, you were like, oh, yeah,
(12:50):
it's because I would emerge it's as happy. Yes. When
I first started going two years ago, as a very
dark time and I just wanted three minutes in a
box by myself with nobody talking to me in silence.
I didn't listen to music. I didn't know anything. Now
I sometimes listen to music and cat doesn't working. But
I would just go and I would sit in there
(13:11):
and I was like, thank you. But I would emerge
happy actually and feeling good and endorphins. It was crazy.
So that's when I learned about, oh I'm stimulating the
vegus nerve, which I know not everybody has access to cryotherapy,
so that might not be an option for you. But
any kind of cold plunge could do that. So you
could do a nice bath, you could do a cold shower.
(13:34):
Other types of things that aren't cold can stimulate it,
like a workout or meditation. I mean that is, if
you're actually able to truly meditate. Yes, and you could
put it in a jar, yes, okay. Benefits of stimulating
your vagus nerve helps with depression, regulates emotions, reduces blood
pressure I just look these up, lowers your heart rate,
(13:57):
reduces inflammation, and can even help with headaches very much so.
So vegas. That might be my word, which is not
that fun to say, Like, it's not that I don't
know sexy to say. Neither was water quite honestly, I
feel like a line and abundance as are good words.
But I have a reason for vegas. If that does
(14:19):
end up being my word, I am going to own
it with confidence and pride. My word of the ear
is vegas, which when I started doing cryotherapy, more than
just emerging feeling better or happy after three minutes at
negative two two degrees, my chiropractor said that my joints
and everything was back in my neck area which used
(14:42):
to be so tense, felt so much better. So yeah,
I know that it decreases the inflammation and has reduced
pain in my back too. And I don't know if
this is just like stimulating the vegas nerve or its
cryotherapy in general, but it's just something about collagen. Do
know anything about that it increases collagen? They say it
(15:03):
can increase collagen production for sure. And I will say this,
I don't use a lot of products or anything on
my skin. I like to use our services to treat
you know, anti age all things like that. So when
you say services, I don't really do much else besides
cryotherapy at restore. What else do you so? My well,
oh my gosh. Everything. So I start my day with
(15:24):
red light therapy at home and we do offer that
service at the store too, big panels that you stand between,
and that's the photo biomodulation, and then we also have
infrared saunas. So I really really love to do that
twice a week, but I have not been great about
sticking to that schedule. But it's great too to detox.
It's different from from your standard steam sonnet penetrates ten
(15:48):
times deeper and really heats inside out. Um. Then we have,
like you said, cryotherapy, local cryotherapy. One of my favorites
is probably I know you've dabbled the N A D Yahoo,
which Bobo has come on the podcast before. He has
put an A D into my drips. Yes, yeah, but
he's in a different place, but y'all have it. We
have the A D therapy and we do it through
(16:10):
i VY and we just rolled out a shot. It
rebuilds the mitochondria in your cells, so anti aging helps
recover faster from exercise, helps with metabolism, stomach issues, all
sorts of things. So that's one of my favorites. And
today I did the hyperbaric chamber, which is just oxygen
and so great for the skin, recovery, brain health, all
(16:31):
the things. And so from there I jumped in cryo
to be wide awake again and then hang out with
you the rest of the day. Well, cat walk people
through what is actually happening with cryot therapy because I
don't even really know quite honestly, I just know I'm
freezing cold for three minutes. Yes, so when you step in,
your body goes into fight or flight and all the
blood rushes to protect your vital organs. And when you
(16:54):
step out of the chamber, it carries all the anti
inflammatory proteins back through the bloodstream. Cry Therapy is going
to help you with circulation, the inflammation, college in production.
I swear at one point it helped me with hair growth,
just the circulation and obviously the endorphin rush. I mean,
you know that it's the light switch. We step in.
(17:14):
We might be having a crummy day and you step out.
Just that makes me think. Anytime I hear the word endorphins,
I think of legally blonde, when Elwoods is, you know,
thinking of the defense for the Have you seen legally Blond? Yes,
but it's been a very long time. So yeah. The
person on trial teaches aerobics or whatever, and just like
(17:35):
an exercise releases endorphins, and endorphins make people happy, and
happy people don't kill few people. Yes, yes, that's exactly.
You might step into the chamber ready to kill someone
and then you come out like the best day ever.
Like I could go on and on about cryotherapy. Um,
it's gonna increase metabolism the rest of the day and
(17:56):
all sorts of things. You're going to glow and be fabulous.
All you were talking, I looked up some other ways
to stimulate the vaguest nerve in case people don't have
access to some of this stuff. While you were talking,
(18:18):
I looked up some other ways to stimulate the biggest
nerve in case people don't have access to some of
this stuff. And I know we talked about a cold
shower bath, but even just splashing cold water on your
face can stimulate it, So you don't have to get
a full blown called shower. You can just go. Maybe
even guys, I would say, do a little bowl of
(18:38):
ice water and stick your your face in there. Yes,
breathwork slow deep breathing or alternate nostril breathing. Can do it, singing, humming,
chanting or gargling. Probiotics or another way Omega three fatty acids,
which I just started taking an Omega three fatty acid.
Really yeah, what are the what is that vite? And
(19:00):
you told me to order the Love the Girl from
the Hills Love Wellness, Love Wellness Low Bosworth. It's her brand.
Oh yeah, you got her daily. It's a daily, right,
like a woman's women's daily. We both love the thrive probiotics.
I just I just yeah, I just finally started the
Thrive probiotic. Okay, I don't know how you've been taking it,
(19:21):
but I love Thrive probiotic and gut Fortify. The person
that founded that she's been on my podcast before. But
then I needed a good vitamin A daily, so I'm
giving the Love Wellness to try with the Omega three
fatty acids and I got both jars, so TBD, We'll
see how that goes. Exercise can stimulate the biggest nerve,
(19:43):
and massage who I need one of those. I wish
one of my children, would you know, come to me
one day and say, Mom, I really think that I
want to be a massage therapist and I need a practice,
and I'd be like, great, I am all yours holders,
let's start practicing right now. I will pay for your
(20:03):
massage school. Uh So, anyway, Yeah, my word might be vegas,
but maybe I still need to think about that. Maybe
I'll just concentrate on my vagus nerve and stimulating and
I'll come up with a new word that's more fun.
Some tips for choosing your word of the year, which
I know I gave a list earlier. These are four
things you can do to help narrow down your word
(20:24):
Make a list of the things that you want to
focus on, and maybe set a timer for ten minutes
and right that list like everything that comes to mind.
No self editing, like no one's going to see it.
Just just start writing things down. And then after the
ten minutes is up, see if there's any common themes
showing up on the list. And if there's something that's
(20:45):
common like oh, pay attention to that. And then from
there start making a list of some words that would
work for you, like what is really resonating, and maybe
you narrow it down and then that's how you pick it.
Maybe you even have to go any meeting money mode. Well,
and I think it would be fun, Like for me,
you sent me the list and I glanced and then
it was just boom, the first thing that popped out.
(21:06):
Maybe circle the first few that you see. Yeah, Two,
you could google. I think our eyes are just drawn
to organically, like what needs to happen. Yeah, So I
think for the third thing there, when you're making a
list of some of the words that would work based
off your ten minute brainstorming session, you could even like
how we had that list just Google. No, you can google,
(21:30):
like how I sent you that list of words. People
just google word of the year and then go to
images and see if there's any charts up there that
other people have made, like other blogs and different things,
and then you can use that as inspo to find
the words. I feel like you should be able to
find something like that. But yeah, I'm excited to see
what other people come up with share them with me.
(21:51):
You can always email me for things with Amy Brown
at gmail dot com. Did you know I had an
email address for the podcast? I think I've heard it,
but I mean some people are like, oh, I didn't
know that I could email you there. I thought I
just had two d M you And I'm not always
the best about checking my d M s, which I
think I'm gonna take a major social media break overlays. Yes,
(22:13):
that'll be great. I normally sometimes still post come Christmas time,
especially if I'm going to Colorado, and I love the
snow and being there and my sister and family and
all the things, and we are going to be in Colorado.
But I think once work is done, which is around
the sixteen, I think I might just shut it off
until the new year. I think that's a good Like
(22:35):
delete the app from my phone. I shut it off
in the whole, like for the whole year forever. Oh
you haven't been back. I shut down Facebook in January,
never went back. And then Instagram. I tried it from
fourteen to sixteen. I have a fake one to follow,
like health and wellness. But yeah, I stepped away socially,
(22:56):
so you don't post. I don't post. I don't do
friends because I just want to try to keep this alive,
like talking like that, you know, catching up like this.
I just yeah, keeping up with your friends in a
different way. I will say I'm guilty of that seeing
what my friends have done on social and then I'm like,
oh yeah, which really you're not seeing anything about what's
(23:16):
going on with them because it's the fun stuff. It's
more of the fun stuff than the tough stuff. So like,
but if you paint your house, I want to know
that because you told me, like, hey, guess what we
painted our house? Then like, yeah, I saw it with
seven thousand other people or whatever it maybe two d whatever. Yeah.
Maybe that's something that's resonating with you right now, is
maybe you need to delete your social media altogether or
(23:40):
just create an account where you can follow certain accounts
maybe you want to see and then be more intentional
about relationships in or maybe you need to pick a
few days over the Christmas break to just completely get off.
I think it'd be cool to try muting things that
didn't bring you joy, like the ne Brown thing, if
(24:01):
only keep up with the things that are adding. Yeah,
there's certain accounts that I've had to follow or that
we're triggering, especially my eating disort of recovery. That's something
that I've talked about, is to go filter your feet
and if there's someone on there, but maybe they might
be a friend and you don't want to follow. Yeah,
I'm not saying that at all, but just kind of
(24:22):
just shut down the things that don't make you feel
good about yourself. Try to work on what's gonna feed
you fuel you. Yeah, and so they will never have
to know if you had to mute them, because I mean,
I'm sure there might be you're like, I've took a break.
Oh shoot, I must not have seen that. But before
you get on social media at radio Amy just kidding,
(24:49):
but make sure you go check out our new four
Things gratitude journals. I really am so excited about them.
They are so so, so so cute and real quick cat.
Since we're talking about four things dot com, are four
Things Puzzle is a special price. If you're listening to
this episode when it downloads on Thursday, December fifteenth, then
(25:09):
you've got until five pm tonight to take advantage of
a little gift that we put out there for you.
Are four Things Puzzle is only sixteen dollars until five pm.
It's normally twenty eight and of the proceeds are going
to medical care in Haiti. So just something fun that
we're doing. We did it last week but I'm fine
pull over and they sold out, which was really awesome.
(25:31):
So y'all are getting the special price and Haiti is
still getting the donation and it's just a win win
for everybody. And it was so fun to do it
with the pull over that we decided to do it
again this week with the puzzle, and that can also
be found where the journals are at four things dot com.
And then I also got the deadline from Mary for
Christmas shopping and it's Friday, December this Friday at two
(25:55):
pm Central, So if you want to order things and
get in time for Christmas two pms and on Friday
is your cut off. Oh and before we go, we
wanted to talk about the angel tree, just to remind
people too, you know, when it comes to holidays and
giving back. Cat was at Whole Foods and they had
an angel tree there, so it's not too late. Maybe
(26:16):
some of grocery stores where you all live, you could
go and see if you grab an angel off the tree.
But she did. And then Cat and I took our
kids and we all went to the mall and we
went shopping for this four year old girl and it
was awesome. Loved it, Yes, the kids really loved it.
And I was impressed with how sweet, how invested they
were in the shopping. I mean all the pink coats
and clothes and yeah, because she was four and she
(26:37):
said her favorite color was pink. So we got her
on the books of pink, the sweetest little book called
I Am Golden Out. She I was going to go
with the other one. I wanted, the one like best Friends,
the Lion and the best Friends or something, and then
to shares like, no, mom, trust me, I know. Yeah,
And then I just thought, we don't know where this
(26:57):
little girl's coming from. It may be a bad situation.
So I just thought I am golden would be something
to remind her, you know, give her hope and I
love that feel good about herself. Tell yourself that today. Yes,
then I am Maybe what of the year could be golden?
I do know that the deadlines are probably coming to
an end with angel trees, So just anybody, if you're
(27:18):
at Whole Fits or any grocery store and there's somebody
you know, I would just feel so bad are the
ones that are still hanging there? Yeah? And then if
you have got kids, get them involved with it, because
I was surprised into it. My kids were to share.
Was very touched by this little girl's story, the little
bit of it that we knew, and it was sweet
(27:39):
to see her empathy. They understood the agent because like
when you've got a fifteen year old, like as teenagers,
sometimes it's hard to get through to certain things. And
that was a really sweet special moment. Oh shoot, we
keep I keep forgetting things I want to do with you.
Four things gratitude, duh, I have most guests do it
so and we talked about the gratitude journals. So you
have to share four things you only thankful for both
(28:01):
of my jobs, cryotherapy and design light. But the fact
that I have access to all these services well in
your restore family, like everybody that works there, is very cool. Yes, okay,
so your jobs, my Macho lattes and my good day
shots and from Ian Rose Ian Rose charcoal latte is
I just discovered those and then harmonized brain centers. That
(28:23):
has been for the last quarter of this year the
biggest game changer for me. For those that aren't familiar,
it's nearrow feedback rewires your brain and helps with anxiety, depression,
a d h D, things like that. Cat and I
both go there, Yes, and they take I know this
might not be relatable, but they do take health savings.
It's I use my HS a car, so it is
(28:44):
actually much more reasonable than I thought jumping into it.
So I'm very grateful for that. It's made a huge difference.
Fourth thing. Fourth thing, let's just go ahead and say fitness.
To have my health and be able to fitness is
just one of my favorite things. Love working out brings
me joy, so I will say that awesome. What about
(29:05):
you today, Okay, I'm thankful for my fright hand. Yes,
it looks beautiful because Scotland. Jordan's from glow Tans. That's
funny you said I'm glowing because that's literally the name
of her business. G l O. Jordan is awesome. I
am thankful for yesterday doing the Angel Tree with y'all.
That was a fun little trip to the mall and
(29:26):
doing that with the kids. I am thankful for Stashira
wanting to study with me. She's got finals going on
right now, and I love that she's wanting to study
and take it seriously. And we sit downstairs and we
go over things and it's just a special moment, like wait,
where I'm trying to find more and more ways to
(29:46):
connect with her, and we've talked about it. We've been
something I'm being intentional about and studying seems kind of
lame and boring, but we actually do walk away from
those moments more connected. Yeah, your bondie. I mean it
is fun and so there's more actual, not school related
things that we're doing to nurture our relationship. And for
(30:06):
the fourth thing, I am thankful for Bitchen sauce. Oh yes, yes,
it is so good. My sister first introduced it to
me and it's addicting. It is so so good. I've
had some in my fridge the last week or so
and we've been going through it and I put it
on everything. I dip things in it. I put it
(30:26):
on my salads, I put it in my bowls other
like rice. Put it on everything. Yeah, it's so good,
chicken everything. Part of my sister's Christmas present I got her.
She won't she won't hear this before Christmas, let's be honest.
But I got her some makeup that she's wanted, and
I'm gonna help her learn how to put it on
because I recently learned I'm not good at makeup either.
(30:48):
But Mars who does my makeup for different things, she
taught me how to do it more on my own
because I can't always be hiring her to just do
my makeup for everything or have her on the road
with me. So she gave me a tutorial. So now
I'm gonna give my sister a tutorial. And I bought
my sister a lot of the same stuff that Marris
told me to get because my sister has her TV
show and she just wants to be herself on there,
(31:10):
and I love that about her. But she definitely wants
to like, you know, she just is not that big
in too make up. And I think she's like, I
think it will help me feel more confident if I
know how to do a little bit more I makeup
or something like that. And so that's my Christmas gift
to her is all this makeup. And then I got
her this little case that I'm putting it all in,
and inside there I put these bitch and coupons where
(31:33):
it was or something. So I grabbed a stack and
I'm putting those in her little makeup back because she loves, yeah,
the addicting bitch and sauce, which my son whenever he's
looking at the jar, he's like, what is this by Chen?
And I'm like, Yep, that is exactly how you say
it for you. It's just sauce. It's just sauce, and
(31:53):
it is so good. I love it. Hashtag not an
ad at all. Okay, I hope you all are having
the day you need to have and we are done
over and Nazi bye bye
