Speaker 1 (00:01):
Okay, cap roAP little food for yourself life. Oh it's pretty,
but it's pretty beautiful things beautiful. That's a little mouthy

(00:29):
kicking with four Happy Thursday, everybody. Welcome to the four
Things podcast. I'm Amy and my friend Mary is joining
me for all four Things today. Hey, Marry, So I'm
in Nashville. Mary's in l A. She's currently sitting at
her desk at the Shop Forward headquarters. So we're just

(00:51):
gonna go over for very random type things, like the
first thing we're gonna get into or some fun facts
that we're going to do an honor of my dad
because that's something he was very much into. And then
Mary has a little Q and A for me. She
put something up on the shop for its Instagram if
you wanted to ask me questions. So we're just gonna
do kind of a rapid fire thing with that, and

(01:12):
then we're going to get into things that you could
do every morning if you're looking to get a little
bit more energy, and Mary and I will share with
you some habitual things that we like to do in
the morning, Like Mary loves to take a walk and
she has a Starbucks order, but I think that that
might come up in the Q and A as well.
And then the fourth thing like what parts of life
are probably never going to go back to being quote

(01:35):
unquote normal post pandemic, And that's the rundown of the
four things today. First, So when I pulled up some
of the fun facts to do, I chose things that
I have not shared on the Bobby Bones Show recently
because I am in charge of a segment they're called
fun Fact Friday. And I think we started doing fun

(01:58):
facts with my dad, Mary be because I was visiting
him a lot because he had just gotten out of
the hospital from his cancer surgery when we were releasing
the Barn Your Hats, and maybe we were working on
fun facts for that. Yeah, I think you and Christie
were kind of working on putting together fun facts and
so you were talking about it a lot, and then
he was piping in and doving his opinion a lot, yes,
and he would share a fun fact from his life.

(02:20):
And Christie is my sister, by the way, in case
you happened to be a new listener. But Mary, I'm
just going to share with you some fun facts that
I pulled and then you can respond accordingly. And we're
dedicating this fun fact segment in honor of my dad. Okay,
so the person who invented the stethoscope. He was a
guy named Renee Lantic, and he came up with it
because he didn't feel comfortable putting his ear directly on

(02:43):
a woman's chest. I thought about that, I know, but hey,
next time you go to the doctor, if they pull
out a stethoscope, you can share this fun fact with
them and they'll be like, oh, hey, impressive. Also, I
saw that tennis was originally played with bare hands, and
I thought, oh, that would hurt. But then fun fact

(03:04):
about me and Mary is we're shockingly good at peak.
Poll's true. We realized this when we were in Austin
for my birthday. We stayed at the fourth Seasoned, which
is downtown and Austin. It was me, my sister, my
best friend from high school, Andrea, and we were trying
to live it up. It's forty the Big four zero,
and it's on Town Lake and they have this ping

(03:25):
pong table set up outside and we'd had our own
little tournament and Mary and I were the best of
the four of us, and so I needed to take
Mary on again because she won. Yeah, I got pretty competitive. Though,
But the video that I posted on Instagram of us
playing ping pong happened to be a point that I
want just happened to be just okay. So, Mary, did

(03:46):
you know that if you pay three dollars for a coffee,
that's a two thousand nine markup on what it would
cost you if you were to make it at home,
which is roughly about ten cents or so, I guess,
depending on the brand of coffee that you buy. So really,
when you're going out and buying coffee, you are spending
a lot of money. It's more pretty experience though, right,

(04:06):
I agree. I would like to give a shout out
to my sister who owns a coffee shop and Phogosis Strings, Colorado.
They just celebrated their two year anniversary a roomhouse coffee,
so you can go, yes, pay a lot more money
to enjoy her coffee in a cute little cup with
a cute little shop in a mountain town. But she
also sells coffee, so you could make it at home
for cheaper if you wanted to. Okay, Mary, I want

(04:29):
you to try to hum while plugging your nose. Oh
my god, I don't hear anything because you can't do
it it makes your ears. Yeah, fun fact you cannot
hum while plugging your nose. And then another little fun
fact about our bodies is you cannot tickle yourself. Did
you know that? I don't think I didn't know that.
Have you ever tried? No, Okay, try to tickle yourself.

(04:52):
I know that for the Q and A like, someone
had sent in a d M because you showed it
to me about how I got tickled six years ago
on the Bobby Bone Show, and I guess if that
was ever going to happen again, and I just wanted
to clarify I don't remember how this segment happened. I
don't think it would happen today because it seems all
kinds of inappropriate. But somehow I lost a bet, or

(05:15):
they we spun the wheel, or something happened where I
was on the couch and I got tickled. I think
Bobby me, but I was restrained on the couch getting tickled.
I mean, there's a lot wrong with that, and I
hate being tickled. But I'm pretty sure that video is
somewhere on YouTube if you're into that. I've told this
one my husband as a pilot, and maybe next time

(05:38):
you're on an airplane, you might think about this or
maybe even ask the pilots and make sure they didn't
have the same meal, because when it comes to a
pilot and their copilots, they technically are required to eat
different meals before flights, so that if there is any
sort of food poisoning situation, they don't both get it.
So just make sure next time you board a plane, like,
did all they different meals? And if they did it,

(06:00):
and then make sure they're feeling okay, Mary, did you
know that I was on the bat awareness team as
a kid. I know that you made up a song
about bats and you're like, you know a lot about
that because in third grade, Yes, I was on the
bat awareness team. I grew up in Austin and we
have the famous Congress Bridge where bats fly out at
night and people gather to watch it. It really is

(06:20):
a crazy cool thing to see if you've never seen it,
if you're ever in Austin. But that's why bats were
so big in Austin, and that's why we had a
bat awareness team and that's why my friend Claudia Chaheen
and I wrote butts all your friends, If you see
a bat in your neighborhood. Just remember that bat's all good.
Bats don't use their as to flat. They use echolocation

(06:40):
while they're in this sky. So if you think that
bats are mean, you need to listen to the bat
Awareness team. But there's more verses, but i'll spare you.
But I brought that up because bats and whales use
echolocation to communicate, but apparently humans are also capable of that,
and I kind of want to do a little bit
more research because I think that that's interesting because is
that what my birds use? My pet birds? They are

(07:02):
my birds, birds in my backyard that I care for
that I feed. So there they are mine. Okay, Mary,
I got one for you for next time you go shopping.
I saw that you went shopping with your mom for
Mother's Day and was the first time she had been
to the mall in over a year because of COVID. Yes,
she was very excited. It was very exciting. It was
cracking me up because she was like, Oh, my people

(07:25):
that at the Landcomb counter they miss me they actually,
which I'm sure they do. But just a heads up
that most department stores tend to play slower music in
order to slow down customers and keep them shopping longer,
and then the opposite is true for restaurants. They want
a faster turnover. So see if you pick up on
the kind of music that's being played next time you're

(07:46):
in a department store. And you know, we were talking
about me being into birds, and you know now that
I'm a birder. I posted this like uber fact from
Instagram the other day, and I pulled it to share
here in case you don't follow me on instag Ram,
which I'm at Radio Amy by the way, in case
you want to follow. And then Mary is at the
shop Forward for her business account. Oh and then I

(08:07):
guess my business account would be at shop Spoa because
I run that one. But then her personal is at
Mary m e R I underscore. But anyway, I posted
that birders have their own vocabulary, and I learned a
new word, jizz, which is the word is just so
weird and creepy, but I thought it was also funny
at the same time. But jizz is the overall impression

(08:29):
or appearance of a bird, like their shape, their posture,
they're flying, style, their size, their coloration, their voice. So
if you ever hear me refer to a bird's Jiz,
That's what I'm talking about. Yeah, And I need to
share what I recently got for my birds and actually
just came in the mail today and I cannot wait

(08:49):
to set it up. I'll keep y'all posted. But I
was having an issue with one of my platform type
bird feeders or like like my squarish roundish one where
you can just pour a bunch of food and kids
are kids birds, I mean they aren't my kids. Birds
can come and like hang out. But when it was raining,
all of the water or the water was sitting in

(09:09):
there a little bit and was creating this moisture and
then mildew and stuff. So I got a weather dome
for my bird feeder, which is the thing. I got
it on Amazon. So if you are a birder, which
I'm learning on Instagram that a lot of you are
very into this, I highly recommend maybe checking out the
weather dome. But I'll keep you post on how it
works for me. Okay, Mary, let's switch it up and

(09:29):
talk dogs instead of birds. And do you know it
turns out a dog's pall print is just as unique
as a humans. I didn't know that me neither. So like,
if there's a dog crime situation or something like that.
Good news for dog detectives, because yeah, they're very unique. Haa.
My dog is actually sitting right next to me as

(09:50):
we record this, and she's licking her paws so loud.
If you'll hear that right now, I'm very sorry. Cara
stop and Cara too. She was selected to be the
model for our new dog mom cards. Now. Kara is
a rescue herself, and we have a dog mom line
through the shop forward, a pull over like a crop

(10:13):
putty thing, a tank top, a T shirt that goes
to support various rescue organizations. And we're working on a
new card because we're switching up organizations and we thought
we need a dog to put on here, and Carl
was selected out of all the dogs. She looks amazing.
It's really good. Yeah, I mean we were the ones
in charge. So she just did a little photo shoot
in our backyard and the card is so cute. But

(10:35):
we'll just throw that out there if you, you know,
know anybody that is a dog mom and you need
a gift for them, or maybe you are a dog
mom or even dog dad. Do we have dog doad Okay,
I know we haven't. I just don't know if we
had it in stock. We just switched to partner with
Wags and Walks Nashville, which is an awesome organization. Our

(10:56):
friend Abby Smires works with it, and so does Dan
Dan of d In and Shay, and then Caitlin, Bobby's fiance.
She's involved with the organization as well. Bobby and Caitlin
actually adopted their latest dog Eller from them. They're doing
really great things, and we were previously with Proverbs twelve ten.
They did awesome things, still do, but we like to
diversify our giving and bounce around to different groups. So

(11:18):
we're excited to be partnering with Wags and Walks. And
we've actually been sold out of almost all the dog
Mom styles for a long time and we just did
a restock this week, so if you have been waiting
or your size has been sold out, it should be
back in stock now. So fun fact we're back in stop,
which we did this little fun fact segment. Do you
feel like you learned stuff I did? Yeah? But you
can take with you sometimes these are just deal with

(11:41):
things to keep in your back pocket for if you
need the icebreaker, a conversation starter, talk to somebody at work,
like you're if there's an awkward pause and conversation, you
can learn fact. Yeah, you could be like, fun, fact,
did you know you can't hum while plugging your nose?
And then everyone's going to try it and they're like, WHOA,
I did know that? So I just think of Amy's dad.

(12:02):
That's what he would do, you know, my dad. Yes,
Harvey Clifton Moffatt, we miss you, we love you, You're awesome.
Which something that we're doing cool to also honor my
dad is we're putting out cabe bueno shirts, which cabe
bueno means that's good in Spanish. My dad was fluent
in English and Spanish. He grew up in South Texas

(12:24):
and the small town south of San Antonio called Dilley,
Texas does a self proclaimed watermelon capital of the World.
Which Mary is going to actually go with me to
the memorial for my dad where we're going to take
his ashes, and I think, are you flying to Nashville
with me to fly the ashes to Texas? Okay? Good?
I'm kind of nervous about flying with the ashes. I'm like,
of all the siblings, I'm the one in charge of

(12:46):
traveling with the ashes, because like, if something were to
go wrong. You could probably go wrong with me. But yeah,
we'll be traveling. Yeah, like what the rules are and
every airline, I mean, I think it'll be fine, but
like every airline is a little different, and like what
the rules are with ashes, it's a little I mean,
I don't know that it seems well fun. Fact, I
have my dad's ashes downstairs where recording at my house

(13:10):
right now, so um, we'll be taking those. But Father's
Day it is right around the corner. It's June, so uh,
maybe cab Bueno would be an awesome Father's Day gift
for dad in your life. And then the story behind
it will be cool because it came from my dad.
And the inside neck label there's a little thing that

(13:31):
says in honor of Harvey Clifton Moffitt, and all the
proceeds from cab Bueno are going to be going to
an education fund. So something that my siblings and I
are starting up in honor of my dad is a
scholarship for rural communities. Because my dad was from a
rural area and he was able to go to college
simply on scholarships, both academic and athletic. So we know

(13:55):
that that's something my dad would really want for someone.
And so we're gonna have people apply for right essays
and I'll have more details on what that's gonna look
like later. We're still still fresh and we still have
some work to do, but we can go ahead and
start creating the fund that will pay for these scholarships,
and Cabino is going to help do that. And then

(14:16):
we've also made all of our cool Dad SPOA stuff.
Normally spuaw typically supports Haiti, but we're calling an audible
for this year, and Cool Dad's stuff is going to
support the education fund for my dad's scholarship. So the
Harvey Clifton Moffitt Scholarship Fund is in the works and

(14:39):
we're so excited about it, and we're pumped for for
y'all to like buy something maybe for your dad for
Father's Day and also have a fun fact story attached
to it, like when you give it to your dad,
fun fact this shirt is going to help, you know,
get a kid in education. We're gonna have them all
on the same page at the shop forward dot com
slash Dad if you want. Okay, are people already shopping
for Father's Day? Okay, We're actually restocking all Cool Dad

(15:01):
items because so many people have wanted to shop early.
So if you check now, all the cool Dad shirts
hoodies have all been restocked, and then also the Caveway
Now shirts are available as well, and everything is at
the shot forward dot com splash Dad. Oh, I love that.
And my dad would have been like the perfect model
leading into this Father's Day season because that's what he

(15:23):
wanted to do. I know I've said it on the
podcast a couple of times, but it really was so
crazy because maybe and I were on face time with him,
like the night before he went to the hospital and
ended up on life support suddenly and unexpectedly, and he
was saying how he wanted to be a model for
the Shop Forward. Yeah. Well, he was just excited I think,
to like be involved more in things that you're working in.

(15:44):
And he was so proud of everything you do, but
especially like this. It's not like it's not that it's
like a side hustle, but he was like as a
little entrepreneur and you're all of that. He was very
proud of you. Yeah. He was big cheerleader for what
we do and always had input, was excited it and
always would wear the stuff, and if anybody would ask
him about it, he was always so proud to say,

(16:05):
my daughter made this, and my daughter sells these. And anyway,
I love you, Dad, miss you. I know you're probably
in the backyard right now because you're a blue jay.
Just kidding, I don't know if you're a blue jay.
I did get a d M from a listener though, Mary,
that had a bird's nest in their backyard and there
was a couple of eggs in there and they had
lost loved ones a few months ago, and they said

(16:27):
to me, I don't care what anybody else says, these
eggs that are about to hatch, these are my loved
ones coming back. And you know, I'm like, I get that.
I don't know if she really literally thinks it's her
loved ones, but I think for you, if you're listening,
if that's something that brings you comfort, that it's okay.
It's okay for me to look at every blue jay
and be like hey Dad, and look at every cardinal

(16:49):
and be like, hey mom, that's fine. Something that brings
me comfort and peace. So again, cool Dad stuff. Ca
Bueno stuff is going to be up at the shop
for dot com. Um slash Dad. It's actually up now.
If you order soon, then you'll be way ahead on
your Father's Day gifting and you can like high five yourself.
All right, Mary, do you want to do Q and

(17:10):
A next? You got the questions ready? Ye? All right,
it's Q and A time. Mary put up a Q
and A box on the shot forwards Instagram and Mary,
you went through and picked out some questions for me.
I have a random selection, so let me okay ready,
I'm ready hit it? Um. What's been one of your
favorite apparel releases? And why this is so hard? Because

(17:34):
I love everything that we have put out. I guess
for me personally, Pimp and Joy is just so personal
that I love everything that we do because it started
with my mom and it's just so special. We have
some really awesome Pimp and Joy stuff. Well, maybe we'll
get into more Pimp and Joy later, but if I
had to set that aside, just because it's so personal,
the next thing I would pick would probably be our

(17:54):
Gratitude Journal because so much work went into that and
it really is improving people's to day, like if they
use it and if they're consistent with it, or is
something that makes them feel good. Like I love our
Gratitude journal. It's so cute. Yeah, what about you? I
mean the first one that comes to mind randomly right
away is our blue the first time we ever did
a Pimp and Enjoy t shirt just because I was

(18:14):
I couldn't believe how much we were raising money for
the Orphanage. Your kids were at Haiti, and like it
had a specific tangible goal and we like hit it
so fast and it just a response from your listeners
and like to pip enjoy and I don't know, it
was crazy, Like that day was crazy. So that's yeah.
That was to help build the bakery, which is still
going and like because of everyone buying and enjoy stuff

(18:37):
like that is still there today five years later. I
don't even know. Yeah, they're able to employ people, they
provide bread to the Orphanage and the local community, and
then also they take the money that they've earned from
the bakery and can apply it towards Orphanage funds as well.
So it is pretty cool. Yeah, Okay, next question, Okay, Amy,
could you do that tutorial on how you do your hair? Yeah?

(18:59):
I guess it is probably time for me to do
an updated version because I put one up a few
years ago with Kelly from Velvet's Edge. And when I
say a few years ago, I don't know, maybe six
and a half or so, so it's been it's been
a while, but I kind of still do my hair
the same, but I have added a new hot tool
in the mix, and it's that Mermaid one type thing,
the three prong that gives it that really beachy type wave.

(19:22):
But I still have my other one that I love,
so I do have this rotation that I do bouncing
between the two back and forth to give it a
messy look. So I guess I do owe people some
sort of a tutorial and I will work on that.
If you all don't know the three pronged weird thing
I'm talking about. I haven't linked on my Amazon page,
which you can find my Amazon favorites at radio ama

(19:43):
dot com. But I mean they sell them probably everywhere
you can, maybe even look at Target or there's so
many different ones. I don't know which one to buy
so I want to get. Yeah, I like the hot
the pink one that I have, and it's pretty cheap,
so like, don't be like, oh this is cheap, Like
I I don't I use a heat protecting it because
I because it is so she I but I don't
know the material and I worry about my hair burning.
But I'll show you in the tutorial. I actually don't

(20:05):
clamp all the way down. I kind of lightly just
press it because I learned that if I press it
down too hard, it creates like a crimped look, and
I don't want to crimp. So maybe that's another pro
tip for when you're using that, is to just kind
of gently let it touch the hair and create a
little bit of a wave. Don't squish it all the
way down, if that makes sense. Okay, Um, what is

(20:26):
your favorite bird you've seen so far? Man? I love
my little cardinals because they're so cute, probably because it's
my mom. And then I love my blue jays. I'm
obsessed with a little chicken ease. Morning doves to me
are so so pretty. I can't just pick one, but
I guess cardinals because I love their little there. It's
nothing crazy or unique. You see cardinals all the time.

(20:47):
But we have this one Happy. I know it's him.
I've named him Happy because his belly is a little
bit bigger. Yeah, Mary knows Happy, And I just love
their little mohawks, and I love Happy's little belly, so
I have to pick a specific bird, I'll say Happy
the Cardinal. Where did the idea of the four things
items and podcasts come from? Why? Four? You've got to
answer this one because you're the one that first gifted

(21:09):
me a four things tote, and you can tell why
you even did that. I mean, I don't think there
wasn't a good reason. That's why it's kind of funny.
I just needed a birthday present and I had these
totes that I had used for something else. And then
I was just like, oh, let's put a few of
Amy's favorite things on a toe. And I just feel
like four looked best. There was no like big rhying
my reason to it. And then and then the four
things you put on there for me, And this is

(21:30):
back in the day, several years ago, and it was yoga, green, juice,
Dirk Spentley, and pimp and joy. Those were the four things.
And I think I posted it on Instagram and so
many people were freaking out. They just thought it was
so cool. And then Mary thought, wow, maybe we could
customize these and sell these. And there was a lot
of things to figure out because every time we do

(21:53):
a customized tote that's new artwork for each toe, and
so Mary was on the ground trying to figure out
with printers and how to lay all that out and
get it done. And now we have a system which
is great and Mary and Ashley they're totally on it
and printers are doing great. But the four Things toe
has been one of our biggest items ever. And yes,
it started because Mary just randomly put that on a

(22:15):
tote for me as a gift. And then the four
Things podcast came from the four Things tote because I
think after the four Things toe, we started doing maybe
some other four things items, huh. And one of my
boss's gin I just reached out and we were already
throwing around a bunch of different names for my podcast
what that would look like. I can't even really remember

(22:37):
what some of them were, but I'm pretty sure they
were bad. And she thought, well, you've already built this
four Things brand and it's still growing, so why not
play off of that and have a podcast every week
you cover four different things. And then and we already
had the Joy Secret pull over, which was be kind,
Choose Joy, Laugh Alot, Eat Cake. And then when I

(22:58):
reached out to Walker Hayes to write the theme song
for the podcast. I said, hey, this is some of
the stuff that we have. That's four things, and so
he worked that into the song and that's why. Yeah,
you're here, be kind, choose joy, love a lot. Okay,
so um, some of you might fast forward through the song,
which I don't blame you. Sometimes sometimes I fast forward

(23:19):
through certain stuff. You know. What I need to say
here too, though, is if you haven't rated and reviewed
or subscribed, you can do that. And sometimes I feel
weird doing that, but I listened to Oprah's Super Soul
Sunday and Oprah does it. She tells people. She pauses
and she's like, if you haven't rate and reviewed this podcast,
go to it. It's really easy, Like if you just

(23:40):
do it right now, you just you just go to
the podcast town, go to the page and just do it. Yeah,
and I subscribe to ocribe. I would be super grateful.
That would be awesome. And if Oprah can do it,
and I can do it, so there you go. And
that's another podcast recommendation for you is Oprah's Super Soul Conversations.
They're always really really good. What are more simple things

(24:00):
you do? On a daily basis that bring you not
only joy, but keep you saying. I mean, I'll just
have to rattle some off quickly. I'm sure there's better ones,
but some that come to mind is I make my
bed every day, and that's a new thing I've started
in the last couple of years. I've not always been
a bedmaker, so it just definitely sets me up for
a better day. I love making either a like a

(24:22):
latte every morning with some root House coffee shout out,
or like a matcha. I used to be really into matchas,
but now I'm into lot days. I kind of can
go back and forth. But some sort of morning ritual
morning drink. Mary, when she was staying with me a
couple of weeks ago, for like two weeks, you ordered
that tea. Are you drinking one right now? That tea
that's in the bottle? Yeah? Give people the name because

(24:45):
it's so good. It's the Republic of Tea is the brand.
And this is actually a different one that I don't
know as much, but it's the one that's really good.
It's a passion fruit green tea and it is so good,
so so good. Yes, I'm a fan. Um anyway, that's
another more drink that sometimes I'll have if I don't
have time to make my latte or whatever, um, whether
it's a much latte or actual coffee latte. So it's

(25:07):
two things. I make my bed, drink some sort of
a latte. I have really been into cryotherapy lately for
my neck, and that's been super helpful. Like that's something
I do almost daily if I can. That helps me.
But I get not everybody has access to that, So
I will say also another thing that I do for
fund sometimes is I take a freezing cold shower. I

(25:27):
don't know how you get that. I cannot do it.
Do I need to just do it? Like? How long
did it I feel to do it? Does it really
feel that good? If sometimes when I'm waking up, if
I want extra like I just really need to get
after it that day, then I will wake up, I'll
make my bed really quickly and then I just go
turn on my freezing cold shower and I get in
and I do it for three minutes or longer. But

(25:48):
well that's what they say online to do three minutes.
I mean, you don't have to, but there is something
that just energizes me about it, Like I put it
on my face like I feel like it just helps
calm me down. I've I've also tried to start washing
my face with colder water. I used to always wash
it with the hottest water possible, but I've learned, I
guess in my later years, that that's not the best

(26:10):
for our skin. So I've tried to wash it with
like at least lukewarm or cold water. But for sure,
if I'm hopping in that shower, I just put it
right on my face, freezing cold, and I'm like, okay,
I'm awake now I'm ready to tackle my day. This
makes me feel good. So a cold shower might be
an alternative. If you don't have cryotherapy, well it's not
the same thing at all, but still something cold shock

(26:32):
the system a little bit energize you. And then I
guess another thing I do daily, which speaking of face washing, always,
no matter what, I washed my face every morning and
every night. And I used to not always be a
nighttime washer, Like sometimes I would get tired and I
just wouldn't do my routine. But I can't think of
a night at all in the long, long, long long
time that I have not done my whole skincare routine.

(26:56):
And trust me, if you're a younger listener, you want
to adopt that if you can out some sort of
a routine, because you'll thank yourself later. And I'm going
to call my sister out here right now, Christie, if
you're listening, do your skincare routine, because she's just just kidding,
just kidding, just kidding. If you know, you know, so Christie,

(27:18):
wash your face tonight. You know, she's got four kids.
She puts them first, which I think is great, but
then she'll go put one of the kids to bed
and end up falling asleep in their bed full makeup,
and then she wakes up the next morning and I'm like, girl,
let's do this. Do your skincare routine. So okay, next
question kind of related. What's your Starbucks order? We'll not

(27:38):
just skin here, but okay, I guess if I do
treat myself to a coffee, I get an almond milk Clotte.
What's your trent to on sweet and green? Nice? Ty?
Trenta is like the biggest option, But some people probably
don't even know that a trent To exists. I know
a lot of people don't. They're like, what so there's
VENTI and a large and then trent to like extra large. Basically, yeah,
well I get a toll, which is the small yes question,

(28:03):
it's fine. Do the four Thing shirts have any patent
or trademarks? Is that possible on clothing? Well? Something fun
even about this podcast is we do have four Things trademarked.
So if you notice on our four Things logo there's
a little tiny circle with an R, which these are
the details that some people may not notice, but for us,
it's pretty exciting because we do have it trademarked for
apparel and for podcasting, because those are different classes because

(28:26):
you can register for trademarks for different things, and so
we've got it for four Things, which is cool. And
then we also have trademark pending for cool Mom yea,
which Mary is the trademark filing queen, like she loves
to search off if like trademarks are available. Well, it's
just like if you're going to invest into like a

(28:47):
brand or to like a saying or anything like that,
you want to make sure it's protected. So yeah, yeah,
and so yeah, we've got the cool Mom one pending
which is going to be super exciting, and we have
a whole cool Mom line now of stuff. It does
say cool mom on the front, but it's got cool
Mom in the neck label, which is fun fact done
in my handwriting. But we're excited to see if and

(29:08):
when that goes through and it'll be officially registered. Best
chips for keeping long distance best friendships strong, Well, I
would say we're living in a time where we're lucky
because we have FaceTime. What did friends have to do
back in the day write letters? I mean phone calls?
But yeah, it doesn't feel weird when you see someone
like we hadn't we didn't hang out in person for

(29:28):
like over a year, right with COVID, Yes, because it
wasn't like that weird. It wasn't like it was like
oh my god. I mean it was exciting, but like
it wasn't it was like, hey, good to see you.
They're just like okay, just kidding. No. Yeah, FaceTime definitely
helps for sure, but yeah, just being intentional about FaceTime
hangs or we're just in a different time. Like even

(29:51):
I feel like with Instagram, you feel as though, even
if you're not talking to a friend, that you've kept
up with a friend because you see their posts, which
sometimes can get tricky because you haven't really caught up
with the friend and then you know, so you have
to be intentional about carving out time for that. Like
Instagram life is not always the same as real life.
So yeah, exactly, and I think too, depending on how

(30:14):
far away you live from each other. Like I mean,
airplanes are great thing being able to travel now and
especially in this weird end of the pandemic. Thing like,
flights are a lot cheaper than they used to be,
so that is a little plus. If you're looking to travel,
maybe be intentional about looking at the calendar and trying

(30:34):
to plan little girls trips, you know that are centered around,
you know, one of the friend's birthdays, or maybe if
you can only meet up once a year, you meet
in the middle of the two birthdays or whenever you
all both can get a weekend away and try to
have little trips because we do that and we'll go
stay somewhere cool and maybe, you know, go somewhere we

(30:54):
can hike or get a massage or have a little
girl's weekend or something like that. And also I'll say
back to handwriting notes, if you are going to mail
a friend a card or something, don't include pills inside
because it won't make it because I want to mailed
Marry a card and I put a bunch of pills
in a baggy and I don't know if it got

(31:16):
flagged for drugs or clarify what kind of pills. I
didn't know this first of all, but yeah, what do
you mean pills? There is supplement like some sort of
a serotonin or stress reliever type pill that someone had
recommended to me, and I was like, oh, Mary should
try these. And I actually ordered her some like from
the place, but I knew it might take a little

(31:38):
bit for the order to get there, so I was
already sending her cards, so I was like, in the meantime,
I'm just gonna give her some of my pills. So
I went and I got a ziplog bag and I
put them in the card and I put extra stamps
on the envelope. But I don't know, it didn't make it,
so just f y. I you know, if you're trying
to mail your friend a little treat to help like

(32:01):
when they sleep, you're just to take on midnight time.
But anyway, I wasn't anything illegal. Oh that makes me
think of times that I've traveled with vital proteins and
a zip block bag through the airport and it totally
looks like cocaine sure, but it's not, which also makes
me think of the time that I tried to go
through airport security with a switch blade. But that's another story.

(32:22):
Fun fact you can mail your self stuff from the airport,
So if you ever take something to the airport that
you're not supposed to have, you can go to the
front counter and they will allow you. You have to
pay obviously extra for it, but they'll mail it to
you so that way you don't just have to dispose
of it. Or they have lockers at the airport where

(32:43):
you can store the item, which is what I did
with my switch blade. They held it in a locker
at the Nashville Airport and then when I returned from
my trip, I went to my locker area and they
retrieved my switch blade for me. Who know. Um, Okay,
we're looking to adopt. What should we read to help us?
As for time parents, Well, I really loved the book
Adopted for Life. I talked about that a lot. That's

(33:04):
one of the first adoption books that my husband and
I ever read. I would highly recommend anything by Karen Purvis.
And then also I have another book called Healing Parents,
which I recommend by Dr Levy. So there's some books
that will get you started for sure. Why has Amy
gotten so into birds lately. Well, I only got into
birds because I got into puzzles. And I only got

(33:24):
into puzzles because of life. I needed something to like
just do to take my mind off of other things
and just be able to sit there and relax. I've
never been a puzzle person, but I guess my sister
just gave me a puzzle at the right time in
my life. I remember it. It was around like December
tenth of last year. My sister and her kids came
to visit, and I thought, why is she giving me

(33:47):
a puzzle? And but we set it up and I
started working on it and again just right time for me,
and I was so into it and it was so
satisfying also, like it was rewarding. Anytime I would get
a matching piece, I'd be like, oh, and just made
me feel good. Like I guess I just needed that.
And then my son was really into noticing some of

(34:08):
the birds in our backyard, so my mother in law
around the same time ordered a bird feeder for him
to enjoy. But I was the one working on the
puzzle the most, so I was sitting outside that window
the most. So I started noticing the birds. And then
my mother in law saw how into that I was,
so she got me a bird chart for the state
of Tennessee, which is this laminated thing that has all

(34:30):
the birds on it. It's just it's kind of went
from there. I got hooked on it and now I
love it and it's like the bird whisper and they're exciting.
I know. My next goal is to get a cardinal
to land on my hand because I saw People Magazine
on Instagram post this cardinal landing on this guy's hand
and I don't know how he did it, Like talking
to it. I saw that. How did how did you

(34:51):
do that? I don't know, but I mean that is
goals for me and I can't wait to have that happen.
Trust me, I hope if I happened, I get it
on Instagram, because I can't put that on Instagram, no
one will believe me. Yeah, you'll have to roll your
security footage. Any chance for brunch and burn in, I
don't know that'll be one. I mean, Mary and I've

(35:12):
talked about this a little bit, I mean possibly next year.
But one thing that we can guarantee that we do
know is that we're going to do things differently if
we do something like that again where we used to
charge tickets because we were putting on like a really
fun event that was costing a lot of money, so
we were trying to pay for everything. But we're going
to approach it differently and try to maybe even partner

(35:34):
with my Heart and maybe get some sponsors and then
have the sponsors pay for it, and then we're able
to make tickets free. There still will be limited amount
of tickets for capacity. We still want to keep the
events kind of intimate, but they won't cost anything. So
that way there's no like, you know, you can only
come if you can afford this ticket. Like we wanted
to make it accessible and available to everybody, no matter

(35:57):
what their financial situation. Continue to like build a community
and get network and all that fun stuff. Yes, Um,
how often do you weigh yourself? Well, I don't. I
don't weigh myself anymore. And I kind of touched on
this a little bit this week. And the fifth thing,
which is the Tuesday episode where I recently went to
the doctor and that's the first time I even had
to get nearest scale in a while. And I was

(36:19):
telling the nurse I didn't want to get weighed. I
was trying to turn it down, but then she had
me turned backwards. But you can go to list listen
to Tuesday's episode if you want to hear more on that.
But yeah, it's it's part of my eating disorder recovery
that I don't need to weigh myself and I'm totally
okay with that now. And I used to be someone
where I weighed myself every day, sometimes even twice a day.
So to now be someone that doesn't, it's pretty cool

(36:41):
and I love that I'm telling you I don't weigh myself,
which that might not be for everybody. If you weigh yourself,
that's that's fine, but I will say if that's something
that you're struggling with too. Every Saturday, Lisa and I
have an Outweigh episode that goes up on the outwegh podcast,
which Outweigh. The tagline is a life without disordered eating
outweighs Everything, and we do a lot of conversation centered

(37:02):
around that or that topic. So if this is something
that is resonating with you or kind of you're stirring
inside of you, Like, I don't know, because I do
get messages all the time people like I don't know
if I have a needing disorder. I don't know if
I have disordered habits. But I do do this, and
I do do this, and some of the stuff you're
saying is making me wonder if I do, which not
everybody does. And I also get notes from people like, hey,

(37:24):
kind of know your audience. Sometimes you get a little
bit too in the weeds of the Outweigh stuff on
your four Things podcast, And everybody you're talking to has
an issue with body and food, which I get that.
So it's also good even if you don't personally to
learn because so many people around you do, or you're
you're if you have a daughter or not even a daughter,
if you have a kid, it could be a guide
to you, obviously, but just people around you too. I

(37:45):
think it's good to like be informed. Yeah that's a
good reminder. Yeah it may not be because it's for you.
It could be for somebody else in your life. But yeah,
I try to find that fine balance. But Outweigh, that
is what it is all about So if you go
over there, that's the content you're going to get in
a new TV show? Shirts? Which one would you guys
choose to wear? Oh? I mean I am obsessed with

(38:05):
that's what she said. So we released Backstory. We released
four new four things like pre made shirts that are
all TV show themes. So we have one that's the
Office and it says that's what she said, one that's
Friends and it says, pivot on a break, Smelly Cat,
how you doing. One that's Golden Girls. That's Rose, Blanche,
Dorothy and Sophia, and that one that's Ship's Creek. That's Johnny, Moira,

(38:30):
alexis you David. They're all great, but like that's what
she said. And the Friends one's probably my favorite, which Mary,
I have a friend's joke for you if you want
to joke. Okay, what happened to the Friends cast when
they were stuck out at sea? I don't know what happened.
They were fine because Lisa could rolle get it, Okay.

(38:53):
I also do the Morning Corny every morning at seven
am Central on the Bobby Bones Show. Check it Out.
Someone asked her you high me? I don't know. They
asked if it's for the order maybe for you. I
don't know, I'm not or you. Well, technically I guess
we are kind of, but you have to live in
Orange County, California. So most people that we are looking
to get some help, but you have to live in

(39:15):
Orange County, California. So if that's you, email it word
at the shot forward dot com. M oh, when somebody
else actually asked, what's the email address for emailing Amy,
it's for the number four things with Amy Brown at
gmail dot com. And then Mary. I'll just repeat years
again when more time because I think I stepped on you.
But it's support at the shop forward dot com. Yes,

(39:35):
watched all a Parenthood and now missing the Braverman's any
TV show recommendations. I mean, I feel like I'm all
tapped out at the moment. I mean, if you have
not seen yellow Stone, I highly recommend that. It's so good.
I also like Succession, but those are kind of heavy stuff.
I love Ozark but heavy, Handmaid's Tails Back, but that's
also heavy, so much heavy stuff that right now, honestly,

(39:57):
I'm watching nine or two one no on Hulu like
old school, like I'm back in the nineties right now,
hanging out with Brenda and Kelly and Dylan. I know
I'm watching like Gummar Girls in the background, but I
don't know. I kind of need something new too. I
love Parenthood is so good. It's just yeah. Mary's watched
Parenthood from start to finish multiple times, so she would
probably say, just start that started over. It's so good. Oh,

(40:20):
you know, it's something similar to that, but people also
think is a little much. But I love a million
little things. Oh yeah, I watched that with you. I'm
intrigued by that. I don't know. Yeah, yeah, so that's
that's a similar to parenthood ish recommendation. Um, when is
the Born your Sweatshirt coming out? I don't know, Mary,
when's it coming out? So we released a few years

(40:40):
last week. I think next week we're gonna release let's
just say that, yeah next okay, yeah, so we've got
more years coming soon. More years will flowly come out
every week, so just wait for a year. Yeah. And
we're obsessed with these pullovers, like obsessed. So I know,
I can't wait to see if you order them posted.
We're starting to ship them and we're so excited to
see you guys get them. So post tag us. Yeah,

(41:01):
we love love love when you'll tag us? Last question,
what song are you obsessed with? Right now? Okay? For me,
I am so obsessed with Justin Bieber Peaches. I love it, Houston.
Let's play a clip of Peaches real quick because people
need to hear it. Remember when a clean love to

(41:24):
Bagage good? I got my peaches in Georgia. I give
my up, California question, I so much took up to Andia. Man,
I give right. Okay, the song is just so good
and heads up. If you're a parent and you want

(41:45):
to start jamming out to that song, make sure you
get the clean version, because he gets his peaches in Georgia,
but he gets his other stuff in California. Need is
legal in California, though I know it's legal in California,
but you might not want your What did I say
in the clean version? Is it different? I don't know
if it's like it's like I get my Yeah, I
give them to the amount of Cole California. But good point.

(42:07):
It is legal there, yes, yes, but you may not
want your kids at school singing about that. That's talking
about that. Yeah, Like my daughter, for example, when my
dad died, we had a playlist playing at the house
which we had. It was a playlist of songs my
dad loved, like artists, like a lot of Texas country
type songs, and one of them was Willie Nelson Rolled
Me Up and Smoked Me When I Die and then

(42:29):
out of nowhere. One day, Stashira is just like, hey, Mom,
the song wasn't even playing, and we're all in the kitchen.
She's like, when I Die, rolled Me Up and Smoked Me.
And I was like, wait, what, And then I realized
she had heard it in that song, and I'm like,
oh my gosh. If she were to say this at school,
it just might be like, what which fun fact about
Willie Nelson? This one? Um? I may share on the

(42:51):
Bobby Bones show soon. I I have it in my
arsenal of fun facts, but I'll give you all a
preview here. First. When the I R S or the
government seized all of Willie's assets in the nineties, like
I think it was in or something, all Willie's fans
bought his stuff in the auction and gifted it back
to Willie. Really yes, And I was like that those

(43:13):
are some loyal fans right there. So here, Houston, let's
play a little bit of roll me up and sow
me when I die in honor of Willie, Roll me up,
astbroll me and if any went on, like just look

(43:38):
up and I didn't come here, man, I soon around
and roustall. Okay, And if y'all are wondering when I
say Houston, I'll just clarify in case you might be
new or you've never caught it. Houston is the producer
of the podcast, So you know, shout him out if

(43:58):
y'all want to. If y'all do, go a rate and review,
just be like in bad Houston. He's just the best.
I'm sure that would make his day. Mary is there.
I guess that's it on questions. We're done with this
and we will get into the other things in a second. Okay, Mary,

(44:23):
I have things you should do or could do in
the mornings to help increase your energy throughout the day. Now.
I don't think this means you have to do all
of these, but these are just tips because you know,
if you're feeling run down or maybe tired, even if
you get plenty of sleep, you might feel a little sluggish.
So these are some things that I found that might work.
Disclaimer I'm not an expert. This is just stuff that

(44:45):
I found that might be helpful. So first thing in
the morning is to stop and take ten breaths. Just
close your eyes and focus on your breathing, and that
can be an effective way to slow down and start
your day in a more relaxed manner. And Mary, you've
been into breathing for or a while because your chiropractor
told you that that would help you relax in your
t MJ area, Right, Yeah, he's big about which I

(45:07):
feel like it does make a big difference now that
I'm aware, Like any time that you have tension in
your body, just focus on your breathing and it just
does an overall relaxation. It starts I feel like the
most of my job because that's where I carry tension.
But I feel like you can do all kinds of
breathing techniques, but it really does help. And then hydrate.
A lot of experts say to drink a glass of
water first thing in the morning, even if you're not thirsty.

(45:28):
And I love this. The way I describe it is
like when you see a plant that is just a
little like sad looking, but then you give it water
and it perks right up. Like to me, when I
drink my water in the morning, I hear in my head,
I'm like, I'm like a flower petal blooming. Something that
I've been doing that I really would recommend is I
get I have like a big YETI cup and I
feel it at night with ice water and half of

(45:50):
a lemon, and I wake up and I like, am
do this sounds storky, But I'm like excited to drink
it in the morning and it's like a little treat
and it's like in your bathroom or by your bad
my next Yeah, So I wake up and I just
like drink it right okay, firstly in the morning, and
because it's a yetti, your ice is probably still cold,
still like cold, it's like very refreshing. Another thing they
had on here is exercise. And you know that's not

(46:13):
something you have to add in by any means, but
if you can find a way to move in the morning,
then it might give you a little bit more energy
throughout the day. For me personally, when I would I
wake up so early for work, If I wake up
and try to do some sort of a workout, it
kind of makes me a little bit tired. So you
have to just gauge where it's going to be best
for you, and it doesn't have to be something super intense.

(46:33):
But maybe you could wake up and do you know,
a quick flow or some downward dogs or some stretches
or something to kind of just start your day a
little bit or go on a little walk. It also
says here make sure you're eating enough. A breakfast like
could be a game changer for you. Now, maybe you're
someone that doesn't like to eat, you really have to,
you know, listen to your body. But maybe if you're

(46:55):
feeling sluggage, look into whether or not you you ate,
because sometimes you can get going with your morning routine,
especially if you've got kids or this or that you're
trying to get out the door to take them to
school and then get to your job and do this
and that, and then you're feeling tired and you look
at the clock it's eleven am and you're like, oh, well,
I haven't eaten anything. So maybe you could prepare something
the night and before, especially if you're pretty busy, and

(47:16):
make sure that you've got food, like you've got some carbohydrates,
maybe its some protein, some fat, something like that. Um.
And then also it says here in the mornings to
ignore your phone to set yourself up for a better day.
When you check your phone or your email first thing,
you're letting someone else dictate the start of your day.
And boundaries are important. You're the one in charge of
your morning, so don't let your phone derail you. And

(47:39):
then I saw this other fun fact. I didn't mention
it earlier because it seems kind of like want, want, want,
But since it has to do with like getting rest,
I'll throw it in now. But Chernobyl is that how
you say it? The Russian plant, Chernobyl, the Exxon Valdez
oil spill, and the Challenger explosion, they've all been attributed
to lack of sleep and someone and so way, shape

(48:00):
or form. So let's just make sure we get our
rests so that we don't cost some sort of a
crazy accident, which I will say. There is a documentary
I don't know if it was on HBO that was
about Chernobyl. Did you watch it? Oh, it's really good,
or maybe it was Netflix. It's somewhere you can search
it up, but I think it's maybe a six episode

(48:21):
series on Chernobyl, which happened in the eighties. Like in
our lifetime. It seems like something that couldn't have happened
while we we were alive, right, But no, it very
much did. And that's something you could go watch, although
I will say it's it's not Parenthood. It's not. It's
not a light viewing, but it is educational. So there's that, okay, Mary.

(48:52):
I saw a discussion on Reddit about what will never
be the same again once the pandemic is over, and
I pulled some of the top answers. So these are
things that may not go back to normal. First of all,
sitting in a doctor's office waiting room while when you're sick,
like now, we wait in our cars for even when
I go get my hair done, I have to sit
outside in the parking lot and I text them when
I'm there and then they'll let me in when my

(49:14):
chair is available. I don't just go sit inside. And yeah,
we used to go sit in doctor's offices with other
sick people, when now I bet you can wait in
your car and then go in when they're ready for you.
Dragging yourself to work when you're sick, probably not going
to do that because you don't want to risk getting
anybody else sick, and then maybe you've become equipped to

(49:36):
maybe even getting work done at home if you need
to shopping for groceries in person. And so many moms
before pandemic, we're already on this. Like my sister was like,
I hadn't gone really to the grocery store that often
because she had been such a big fan of curbside
pickup for so long. But then now there's just so
many different delivery services out there that maybe you won't

(49:57):
really go to the grocery store as often. I personally
like going in the store. I like to, but because
I like to see my stuff. What about eating at buffet's, Yeah,
I don't know if that's gonna be happening a lot.
I know, and I was I was a big fan
of like the Whole Food's buffet. If you have a
Whole Foods near you, then you know, you know, But
now I don't really know how that those are going

(50:17):
to happen. Snow days for kids might not ever be
the same because now there they know how to do
virtual learning, which is such a bummer because if we
got a snow day as a kid, it was like
so cool and you could go out and playing the snow,
and now it's gonna be like, well, log onto your
sne we're still having school today. Boundaries between work or
school and home, that boundary is very blurred right now

(50:39):
and it probably won't ever be the same. So that's
one thing where you're going to have to be intentional about, Okay,
this is my work time, this is my home time,
this is my school time. It's just got to be
all over the place for some people, and and understandably so,
it's very hard to figure it all out when you're
at home all the time, commuting every single day. Yeah,
a lot of people are not to go back to

(51:00):
a commute every single day of the week because maybe
if they even do go back into the office again
since they've learned to work at home, which I have
seen traffic pick up significantly in Nashville, which is a
bummer because I'm like, oh man, there's were cars on
the road. But what about for where you are, Mary,
because there can be a lot of traffic in l A. Yeah,
the traffic is almost back to normal now, which is

(51:22):
a bummer. Yeah, that's a bummer. Okay, we'll end with
this this last thing that was on the Reddit thread
and it's a quote from someone and they said, uh,
something that will never be the same again once the
pandemic is over. Is quote the blissful ignorance of sticking
my fingers in a random bowling ball then proceeding to
eat food without a care in the world. Okay, I

(51:44):
don't think I leave my house without hand sanitizer, and
I apply it faithfully. I think you put something on Instagram,
like even maybe a few months ago, but I remember
it anytime I get gas. I think about how you posted, like,
oh man, gone are the days where I used to
like get asks and maybe get a snack from inside
and like get in my car and eat it, like
eat a protein bar. Like yeah, no, now I'm like gloves.

(52:07):
I don't know. I'm just like, it's just what you're
You're just much more aware. I guess, yes, totally like um, which,
speaking of, I was thinking, if I were to go bowling,
like I don't know, I'm gonna be like sanitizing inside
the bowling ball or shoe. I might even wear like
those rubber gloves that you've been getting gas with, Like
can I bowl with a rubber glove? Bowling is something

(52:29):
I do enjoy doing. Like, I want to go do that.
My grandma was the manager of a bowling alley, so
bow Yes, they've gone bowling. I don't know that they
like love it, love it, but I should try to
get them into a little bit more. Maybe now that
they're a little older they might like it. But I
feel like we lost a year of doing normal kids
stuff that kids like to do. And I've only had

(52:51):
my kids for three years, and then you take a
year and a half out of that of doing normal
fun activities, like now that they're a little older, they
may enjoy bowling. They are good at ping pong. Oh,
excuse me, my podcast line is ringing. Hey, y'all are
getting that. This is the end of the podcast. We'll
leave this in here about little inside scoop. Hold, please

(53:12):
let me see who's calling me? Hello? No, okay, well
that's funny. She I will give her props for how
she started the call. She was like, Hey, this is
DA Please don't hang up. I'm calling about your Google
Di Da Da. I'm like, hey, good for you for
saying please. Um, okay, thank you all for listening. This

(53:33):
is definitely a longer episode than usual, but it was
super fun to have Mary on and just do something
a little bit different. I feel like we've had a
lot of interview type episodes lately, so this is something
that's a little different. I mean, Mary is a guest,
but she was almost kind of interviewing me, especially with
the Q and A part. So thank you to everybody
that sent in questions, and thank you to everybody that

(53:55):
supports what we're doing here listening to the Four Things
podcast of subscribing, rating, reviewing, being a part of the
Bobby Bones Show and the b team. Y'all are all
amazing being a part of supporting a squaw and all
that we get to do in Haiti, which oh gosh,
we didn't marry. Yes, before we go, we have to
update people on the Mother's Day. I I briefly said

(54:18):
something in the fifth Thing episode this week, but yeah,
because you shopped with a Spua for Mother's Day, we
were able to meet Project Meta Shares new ambulance goal,
which in order to purchase a new ambulance, they needed
to fundraise eighty five thousand dollars And Mary, what check
are we sending to Project Meta Share? Literally today, I'm
sending them a check for eighty five thousand dollars which

(54:39):
would not be possible without all of you guys shopping
a squat and it's it's crazy because it's really gonna
make a difference and help like healthcare, maternal healthcare, safety
of people going to and from the hospitals, and not
just expectant mother's but kids and elderly And it's really
crazy that it's all because of you guys shopping. So yeah, no,
I mean that is you. End of story. So when

(55:02):
Project meta Share is freaking out when we message with them,
like the response we get from them is just they
are overwhelmed, like they're like they're coming with you, like
they're just left speechless because yeah, I mean like, yeah,
I mean, Mary and I love designing and coming up
with the stuff, but the fact that you guys enjoy it.
If y'all weren't buying it, then nothing would be happening

(55:24):
with it. Mary and I would just be designing T
shirts for ourselves or sweatshirts and being like, oh, these
are super cute, but yes, thank you so much for
your support. And then Mary and I are trying to
get to Haiti soon because we would love to give
you all more of a thorough report of things that
are being done and visiting some of the organizations down
there that we do like to support. It's just not

(55:45):
a safe time. It's still not a safe time to go,
which is such a bummer because Mary and I used
to go to Haiti all the time and now we
haven't been and forever. So we're working on it's that
would be something cool that maybe we could share with
you all soon if we do get to go. But
for now, just know at you made a huge difference
for Mother's Day and we are grateful, and so is
Project met a share and then uh, we could do

(56:07):
the same for Father's Day. We got that coming up,
and we can make a difference um in some kids
lives and the opportunity of going to college because otherwise
they may not have it. So again, shout out thank you,
Harvey Clifton Moffitt Scholarship Fund. We don't have the official
name yet, but I've got to get with my I
think of like the Michael Scott, like I don't know

(56:29):
Scott's thoughts. Oh gosh, yeah, I mean, could you imagine not?
We promised like you're going to check in with us
in a year and we're gonna be like, oh, yes,
we'll really going to go to college. There was a donation,
there was a scholarship given, like, oh gosh, can you

(56:49):
imagine which If you have not seen the Office episode
that we're talking about called Scott's Taughts, you need to
go find it and watch it because it's uncomfortable larious. Yeah,
it's so good. If we had another Office shirt besides,
that's what she said, we would maybe need to have
Scott stunts on it somewhere. But okay, y'all are awesome.

(57:09):
Thanks for listening, Mary, Thank you for taking time out
of your day to hang with us anytime. It's always
a pleasure anytime. Yeah, we'll have to figure out how
to make Mary a little bit more of a regular.
Maybe we'll do something like this once a month or
every six weeks or something. I don't know. I think
people would like that for sure, because we're cool together.
At least we think we are. If people are even

(57:31):
still listening to us right now, I don't know. Okay,
all right, um, I know that you and I both
have meetings, so um or I have a meeting, you
have chiropractor. Yeah, yeah, this is our life, people, So
we're gonna go and yeah, in the meantime, we'll see
you online at Radio Amy, at Mary Underscore, at the
Shop Forward and at Shop Spoi Boom. That's us online.

(57:54):
That's us in a nutshell on the internet. And then Facebook.
I have Facebook, and then we're working on coming more
present on TikTok. By the way, Oh, yes to Shira,
it's going to make over the sward Instagram. I have
Radio Amy on TikTok, but I've barely done anything. My
daughter plays on it and she likes to watch TikTok
on my phone with my supervision, and she knows how to,

(58:16):
you know, do all the stuff. So Mary has given
her the password to the shot forwards TikTok. So Stashira
might take that on as like a side hustle. In
addition to making her a squaw bracelets, she might get
a new content creation for TikTok. Yes, start doing content
creation for the shot forward. Oh. I want to say

(58:37):
this too for my before we go. Okay, I know
how Stashia makes her bracelets, but give us some feedback
if any of you would be interested in a four
things bracelet. That's four things where one of the bracelets
is it's fine the next bracelet is I'm fine, and
then the third bracelet is everything, and the fourth bracelet
is what is it? Fine? It's fine, It's I'm fine,

(59:00):
Everything is fine. Sorry, I probably need sleep. I love it,
but I think that like it would be a stacked
bracelet and be like a set of four and the
beads would all be colorful or like. I don't know
exactly the design, but I might make one for myself,
like this weekend or something, and then see how it goes.
I just don't know how in the world will make

(59:22):
that many bracelets, because that'd be for that'd be like,
are you kidding me? And then she's gonna be like
how much? Right? Well, I don't know if that's a
project she could take on because she has so much
homework all the time and she's in theater. But we
might start off with a few and then maybe we can,
like I don't know, sell one or two and see

(59:44):
how they do. But if you have interest in that,
please let us know, and then I'll end with this.
If you also have interest in maybe us doing a puzzle,
let us know, because Mary and I are in the
very early stages of developing a puzzle. But is that
something you would do, and I think so because we're
into it, or if you have any advice on what

(01:00:07):
kind of puzzle you would like, would like to hear
from you. I mean, we have something in mind, and
we know what what our ideas would be, but obviously
we care a lot about what you think, so we'd
love to hear from you as well. So all right,
we're really leaving this time. Okay, I gotta go.
