Ryan & Rory are one of country’s most exciting new duos. Ryan Follesé first broke out as the lead singer of Hot Chelle Rae with the global hit “Tonight, Tonight.” Though he found success in pop, the son of two legendary Nashville songwriters always felt pulled back to country. He found his perfect match in Rory, a powerhouse vocalist and multi-instrumentalist who cut his teeth at the Myrtle Beach Opry playing 300 shows a year.

Broken Bow signed them on the spot, and the duo released their self-titled EP last summer. They’ve since dropped more singles like Them Boots, Truck Stop, and Together Again with Jamey Johnson—who rarely collaborates, but declared, “If I were a gambler, I’d bet it all on these two.” With millions of streams, a Grand Ole Opry debut, and undeniable chemistry, Ryan & Rory are just getting started. Their new song “Girls are Pretty” drops Friday!

Speaker 2 (00:45):
Stoked to be here.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
I mean, Ryan, I've been known you a long time.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Through most of the walks of my life.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
Yes, I mean because y'all are y'all you're only twenty five, Rory,
I heard, and right, you're you have to be.

Just turned twenty three.

Speaker 3 (00:59):
Yeah, yeah, I know, yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
Fuck.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
But I've known you because your parents, Adrian and Keith Folise,
some of the best songwriters in tow When I was
getting started in Nashville, your parents, I think I wrote
like my second song with your parents, And how was
that for you? It was amazing because your dad like
sit a production of it and I was singing. I
was like, oh my god, I could be a star.

(01:23):
I could be a star.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
That's amazing. Yeah, he's there. They're legends. They really are
still to me. I mean like they're they're you know,
they're my parents. I feel very spoiled having that kind
of upbringing, but they're they're amazing.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
Do you feel that way for real? Like growing up
and them, was it like, did you know you were
destined for music? I?

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Oh, absolutely? And they knew it too, I mean they
were they were putting money away for college for me,
and it was just like, I mean, they they just
knew that I wasn't. You didn't go. It went in
the cards.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
Go to college when you're meant to be colleges at home.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
I mean I got the best, you know, best publishing
songwriting school going right there in the true four Walls.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
So that is true.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
That fun money probably got spent on demos.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
Right, What did you do with your college money?

Speaker 2 (02:01):
I used most of it to record music, A little
bit to bail me out of jail, just stuff like that.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
Go to jail.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
I did go to but you did not. Yeah, why
did you go to jail?

Speaker 3 (02:09):
You're a perfect angel?

Speaker 2 (02:11):
I was a perfect Well, angels must be fast because
I got pulled over for doing one hundred and fifty
five and a seventy so yeah, I know, I know.
Oh yeah, right before we did it, my brother's like,
you should get batteries for the rad architector I said,
we'll get them on the way.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
Home, and you're trying to get there quickly to get them.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
Yeah, yeah, yeah. It turns out you can get to
jail really fast if you're going fast enough.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
Do you have to like stay there for a while?

Speaker 2 (02:33):
Three days for gold?

Speaker 3 (02:35):
So that's a big offense to go that fast.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Yeah. Yeah, Actually there's a I think this is going
to be breaking news right here, but the law in
Tennessee now, because of me, no is anything over one
hundred if the cop wants to was three days in jail?

Speaker 3 (02:47):
What was that like?

Speaker 2 (02:49):
It was?

Speaker 4 (02:50):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (02:51):
Were you scared?

Speaker 2 (02:53):
You know? I was in a I was in a
holding cell with thirty other inmates.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
What is that like?

Speaker 2 (03:00):
There?

Speaker 3 (03:00):
For different reasons?

Speaker 2 (03:01):
You know, it's fun. It's like the first day of school,
which I just that pose.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
I mean, you're are you a publicist? Okay? Your publicist
pulled up and I'm like, Hi, I'm just really emotionally
I dropped my daughter off for kindergarten today.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
No No, it's actually because we're here. It happens to
a lot of It's not a big deal.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
I made an excuse it was my daughter going to kindergarten.
But really I'm just crying because I'm so excited to
be with you.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
It was like the first day of school. But but
you know, with people you don't want to be in
school with.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
Where is anyone like a murderer? Uh, you know, anyone
in jail?

Speaker 2 (03:33):
You know, nobody turns out nobody in jail did anything.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
Really, that's what they say, Oh.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
All innocent, guilty. It was. It was the biggest coincidence.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
So you're not like swapping stories in jail.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Uh, I'm not swapping anything in jail, No swapping of
any kind. Uh that you don't. I'm not a big swapper.
But no, it was you know, it's a lot of stories,
a lot of people with record deals. So they say
it was you know, yeah, it could.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
Be the next big thing. I mean you were in there,
the next big thing.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
Yeah. Yeah. It turns out they were real surprised. You
can go to jail for speeding.

Speaker 5 (04:07):
So okay, we'll speaking about stories. So I mean, yeah,
like this is cool and all whatever. You went double
the speedl I'm it good for you. But this, since
we're here in Brentwood, it reminds me of this other
story of yours involving the police that you should definitely
uh talk about.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
Man, I'm really a good person.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
Hey, I got to be a dad too, right, So.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
I mean, okay, so look, we don't have to cut
any of this out until my kid's old enough to
understand it. Then we cut all this part out. Okay, No,
I did I got I painted? Of my godness, what Ryan?
I had a Mustang and I was so used to
getting pulled over. I painted my Mustang the sing.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
Was it always for speeding?

Speaker 2 (04:47):
Yeah, always for speeding street racing. I painted my Mustang
the same colors as the Brentwood Police Department.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
So you acted like you were a cop car?

Speaker 2 (04:56):
Yes, and got pulled over?

Speaker 3 (04:57):
Off. I didn't say about this.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
They didn't really know why I painted the car that
way until I started getting pulled over.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
So you were trying to blend in as a police
officer so you could act like you were going Did
you have a light that you put on your car?

Speaker 2 (05:08):
No, I didn't do that, but I wasn't really trying
to blend in. I was more just I don't know
what I can say. Yeah, I was just being a
jerky right.

Speaker 3 (05:17):
You have like a lot of confidence.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Yeah you could call it that. Yeah, you could call it.

Speaker 3 (05:24):
Call this because I don't want.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
To be blind stupidity.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
What happens when you get pulled over trying to be
a cop car?

Speaker 2 (05:33):
You get your car searched a lot. You Uh, Officer Swallows,
who was in that's a real name was he was
the had the highest drug bus rate in Brentwood, Tennessee.
And I got pulled over by him a lot.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
He saw you coming and he was a first day
basis with him. Oh he was he just like Ryan?

Speaker 2 (05:54):
Yeah? Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
Was he like pissed at you all the time?

Speaker 2 (05:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
It wasn't like he was being nice about it. He
was like annoyed.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
It's super annoyed with you. Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
Did you get rid of that car?

Speaker 2 (06:04):
I did?

Speaker 3 (06:04):
Yeah? It was life way better after that. When did
you get out of that?

Speaker 4 (06:08):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (06:09):
When did you get out of this phase of just like,
you know, pushing the.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
Limits around the jail thing? Yeah? I thought I thought
that was it. Yeah, I thought, you know, I was
I was getting close to getting into real real trouble.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
Yeah, you like you won the video game without like breaking.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
The board exactly, And I was doing a lot of music,
so I was like, you know, maybe maybe not so
much jail.

Speaker 3 (06:29):
Music, and is that when I want to get to
the birth of Ryan and Rory. But like, I have
to kind of walk through a few of the because
I've known you since like Hot Shell Ray day.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
Yeah, we're gonna, we're what we're doing right now is
transitioning from vertical bars to horizontal So that's where we're going.

Speaker 3 (06:45):
Okay, So Hot Shell Ray came out of these days
you're like, I'm gonna focus my energy on making music,
and you formed a rock pop band, yes, and it
was very successful and it's still existing.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
Yeah, yeah about you. Yeah, the team without me, they're
playing all kinds of shows.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
Friends.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
Oh yeah, I mean the drummers, my brother, best buddy,
And uh, why.

Speaker 3 (07:06):
Did you decide to leave Hot Shell Rey when it's
doing well?

Speaker 2 (07:10):
Because my heart is in this. It's just like, there's
no it's it's not there was no path forward for me,
and that when all I can think about is writing
songs about the way.

Speaker 3 (07:20):
I grew up, right, and see, you want to do country.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
Yeah, yeah, I think I I think honestly, looking back,
you know, it's you know the saying for emo kids,
it's like it's just a phase phase. I think honestly,
that was I'm surprised looking back I ever went that direction.

Speaker 3 (07:33):
Did you decided to do it? Was it part of
your rebellion? Yesse your parents are so shadow.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
Yeah, I'm going to jail. I'm not doing country. You know,
I'm going to be a rock star.

Speaker 3 (07:44):
And you rebellion against your parents because you were always
besties or was there a time where You're like, no,
I'm going to go. I'm going to show you that
I am my own person and I'm not going to
do country music and I'm at it.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
Yeah, it was kind of that. It was like, I'm
gonna write myself. I'm going to write out of their shadow,
but I'm going to do it in my own way.

Speaker 3 (07:58):
Because it is a shadow. Yeah, you grew up with
a big shadow.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
Yeah, And I and I thought growing up that, you know,
especially in that genre, even though country has always been
my first love, I I didn't know how I was
going to compete with my parents, you know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (08:14):
That's a real thing. Yeah, Yeah, absolutely, okay, okay, Yeah, and.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
Then I got older and their wisdom was passed me.
I was like, I don't need to compete with them.
I can work with them.

Speaker 3 (08:23):
Oh my gosh, why have I been fighting this?

Speaker 2 (08:25):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (08:25):
So long?

Speaker 3 (08:26):
Hey, but way to like go against it and crush
it because it's an amazing band. We don't lots of awards,
Tory or Taylor Swift.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
I mean, yeah, it was. It was an incredible, incredible
run and wouldn't take back a second of it. But
I'm so much more comfortable and like and being in
a band with this guy is like, it's been the Honestly,
it's been the most fun I've ever had in music.
And it's to the point where we talk about it
pretty openly, Like, man, being in a duo is so
much fun. It's just awesome.

Speaker 3 (08:54):
Yeah, because it could be the opposite. You know, some
people hate each other in duos.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
You know. I I get why that happens to certain
people having been in bands and doing solo and him
doing solo stuff and doing all these different things. But
like for us at this current juncture, the way that
we got together and the music we're making and our
strengths and weaknesses it's just like it's just so fun.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
Well, and honestly, it sounds like y'all have a lot
of self awareness too, because like, obviously you've been in
a band for a long time. You've toured like you're
in like the Myrtle Beach Opry and played like three
hundred SHOs a year or something. So it's like y'all
know how to tour, you know how to do shows, you
know how to be in a band situation. And I
think there comes a point, don't you think when you
just don't want to fight against each other, egos are

(09:37):
no longer fighting because you're like, Okay, we actually need
to like fight the world. So it's a waste of
time to self distruct ego.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
Egos does not come in the room with us.

Speaker 3 (09:47):
But I think that takes a little wisdom to get there,
don't you.

Speaker 2 (09:49):
Well, he's wise beyond his years. I mean to the point,
like you.

Speaker 3 (09:53):
Said, you're out there wild free and breaking it down
on the street.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
Yeah they're dancing or anything. Some books smarts. We're not
going to get into the weeds. But he's he's definitely
wise beyond his ears.

Speaker 3 (10:06):
Okay, what do you mean by that? Give me some details.
How how is he wise? What do you love about Rory?

Speaker 2 (10:11):
Very very like, I mean insane like talent side He's
insane singer, insane musician, one of the most talented people
I've met, just in terms of musical ability, but just
super together, like like like honestly more together than I am.
And I've been around.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
I'm not I'm wondering about your.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
When I yeah, well me too. When we first when
we first chatted on the phone, like we had a
when we like when I made the call to like
kind of break the ice with him, I had realized
I've been talking to him on the phone for like
a really long.

Speaker 3 (10:45):
Time, the ice like, Hey, do you want to be part?
I just want my boyfriend?

Speaker 2 (10:49):
Literally, like, are you interested in.

Speaker 3 (10:51):
He's been sharing me for the rest of your life?

Speaker 2 (10:54):
Are you interested in being in a band?

Speaker 3 (10:56):
And is like a marriage proposal.

Speaker 2 (10:57):
It is a tough thing if you haven't been in
a band for someone to ask that question, to be like, hey,
do you want to do a band thing? It's a
different it's.

Speaker 3 (11:04):
Either well at this point or is it like pretty fresh?

Speaker 2 (11:07):
No, it's it's pretty fresh, pretty fresh.

Speaker 3 (11:09):
How do you know you are going to vibe like
you're asking to marry you and you don't even know
yet it go.

Speaker 5 (11:13):
It's kind of like when you hear you can hear
a song and you get like a gut feeling on
the first listen through, whether it's a hit or it's
not a hit, Like I mean, it was just for
me right away, like yeah, I think this could work.
And then we finally went and played round of golf
and you know, nineteen.

Speaker 2 (11:25):
Nineteenth hole we figured it out.

Speaker 3 (11:26):
Yeah, it was like, okay, the ninety everything gets worked out.

Speaker 2 (11:29):
On nine course.

Speaker 3 (11:30):
Of course, all the business takes place on a golf course,
even if you're a bad golfer, you got to play
right well yeah golfers of course, not that you're playing
and you're working it out. You formed a band. A
lot of music deals have happened on a golf course.

Speaker 2 (11:42):
I've played with a lot of golfers. I know I'm
not a bad golfer.

Speaker 3 (11:44):
Oh okay, are you like in the eighties, Yes, that's
very respectable, very respectable.

Speaker 5 (11:49):
What about you Roy h eighties, low nineties, that's great, yeah,
or far low hundreds or one tens.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
So we don't talk about those man.

Speaker 3 (11:58):
Okay, So how did you even know what Rory existed?
And are you the one pursuing Rory? Because you're like,
how did you know you want to be in a
duo and not just a solo act? And you too, Rory,
like how did you? Because this is like a.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
I think it's just experience with Really, I've been in
a band, I've done a solo.

Speaker 3 (12:12):
Record because you had a record.

Speaker 2 (12:14):
Yeah, yeah, I've done a solo record on Big Machine,
and I've done kind of that type of thing. And
I growing up, I mean my north Star like the
biggest rock stars to me and still are Brooks and
Done just just quintessential cool. Yeah, And I was like
I thought to myself, Man, this this music that I'm
working on. Even though it was like in the sort

(12:35):
of embryo stage of becoming, you know, coming up with music,
I was like, I really thought it would be suited
for a duo. Started talking all these different people, and
I mean, you know how Big Little Town.

Speaker 3 (12:46):
You started kind of like putting feelers, doing.

Speaker 2 (12:51):
The teenage version of yeah, posting, you know, on message boards,
being like does anyone want to be in my band?
Really like meeting people doing that Okay, you know how
Big Little this town is a mutual friend of my
family and him, and was just like, Hey, I know
people you could meet, but really like the guy that

(13:12):
I think you should meet is not in town. You
should meet this guy, and.

Speaker 3 (13:15):
I was probably nice to get a little bit outside
of Nashville.

Speaker 2 (13:18):
Actually, in hindsight, it really was. And I chat with
him on the phone for a couple of hours and
I was like, let's just get in a room and
let's just play some songs. I send him some songs
and I was like, and we can do some covers
and just hear out sounds.

Speaker 3 (13:30):
Were you immediately open to this, Rory.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
Yeah, Oh, I mean I'll tell you it's just like
a random call out of the point.

Speaker 5 (13:35):
No, it was the last thing on my Bengo card,
especially that Saturday at two o'clock while.

Speaker 2 (13:41):
I'm I don't know what I was doing.

Speaker 5 (13:42):
I think I was on the couch working on my
computer or something, and then you know, this guy calls
me and I'm like, wow, like holy.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
Shit, Like what's what is this all about? Right?

Speaker 5 (13:51):
So, you know, I think about it for like a
few days after the fact, and we were like, you know,
texting and whatnot, just talking about different stuff. And I
was like, all right, let's go play round of golf.
I'll come fly to Nashville. And when uh when the
day he called me, literally like the day before and
probably the weeks prior.

Speaker 2 (14:09):
I'm I'm there in Myrtle Beach. I'm still living there.

Speaker 5 (14:11):
I lived there for seven years and just grind it,
played show after show, night after.

Speaker 3 (14:16):
Night, probably artist playing show.

Speaker 2 (14:18):
Yes, yes, yeah.

Speaker 5 (14:19):
So I was like, you know, there in Myrtle plus
like taking a band out in Southeast and on the road,
touring and doing college shows whatnot. But I would say
about in the last few weeks prior before we talked,
I was like freaking out there wondering. Okay, like I've
been in this town way too long. I got to
get the.

Speaker 2 (14:35):
Hell out here.

Speaker 3 (14:36):
You were ready for a move?

Speaker 5 (14:37):
Yeah, yeah, Now, So it just all like perfectly lined up,
and I knew whether it was going to be like
towards the end of that year the following that I
was going to get out of there, and it was
probably going to be Nashville because I've already been back
and forth for ten years and and it just you know,
fate had it that uh Ryan Foles, it was gonna
give me.

Speaker 2 (14:55):
A call and say, hey, what's going on with you? Man?

Speaker 3 (14:57):
So you know he existed? Had you heard of how?

Speaker 2 (15:00):
Oh? Yeah? Yeah yeah.

Speaker 5 (15:00):
So Ryan and I originally met in my hometown Raleigh,
North Carolina. He was opening for Low Cash when he
was doing a solo thing.

Speaker 3 (15:06):
Okay, so you had met before.

Speaker 5 (15:08):
Yeah, So I didn't know he was open for for
Low Cash until I got to the venue.

Speaker 3 (15:13):
I was like, oh, this is there to watch the show.

Speaker 2 (15:15):
So see low Cash. Yeah yeah, I didn't know he
was going to be there. Really.

Speaker 5 (15:19):
I get there and he's opening. I'm like, oh, hot,
show ray that guy. And and he was doing like
the solo country thing and had great songs off that
record too. And so after he played a set, I
went back to his merch booth. He had one little
T shirt up there and just he's meeting people with
nic shirt.

Speaker 2 (15:35):
No too bad. I went through the receipts.

Speaker 5 (15:38):
There was no purchase, no purchase, and I went through,
Uh we got a picture and yeah, it's just you know,
us posing and T shirt.

Speaker 2 (15:47):
After we chatted, he was like, did you even believe this?
He's like, and he sent me a picture. Yeah. Yeah.
After we like talked on the phone, like star I keep.

Speaker 3 (15:56):
I'm sorry I keep, but y'are like star Cross cosmic, Yeah, cosmic,
like your lives were just intertwining.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
Yeah, it was. It was meant to be.

Speaker 3 (16:06):
We feel like, yeah, okay. So then another question, was
there any like fighting over who's going to be lead
singer because I know you're leading your harmonies, because like
I've been in a trio before and that was always
an issue.

Speaker 5 (16:17):
Oh yeah, Well Ryan had some uh like these great
songs already in the bank that well suited his voice,
and I was like, yeah, like he's got to take
this for sure, just like the blend of where we
both are like with our pocket so to say, Like
he definitely like just the timbre of his voice just
really cuts through our songs and mixes.

Speaker 3 (16:35):
So they were like, but I need to be lead
singer too, Like it was like totally fell into place.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (16:40):
Yeah, no, it totally fell into place for sure, and
I'm really stoked about it.

Speaker 2 (16:44):
And we have songs like we did put out a
song where he's he's taking lead on some of the
parts and there there is room for that to grow
in our project as well. That's awesome because we have
such different voices But the blend, like he's talking about
is that's kind of how we knew right in the
beginning that it was like it was going to work,
and he was going to sound great on some of
the stuff that we had and was going to sound
great on stuff going forward. Is just a blend.

Speaker 3 (17:15):
You guys. So have you ever had a fight.

Speaker 2 (17:18):
Fist fight once? Yeah? Yeah, yeah. He wasn't driving fast
enough for me, and I was pissed. That's the first
time someone's ever said that about my driving. So I
appreciate that you're faster. Yeah, that's what they say. I
feel like I'm a pretty normal driver, But I don't know.
You told me he's drives fast as hell. Man, I'm
telling you, I drive fast.

Speaker 3 (17:39):
I'm never writing with you guys. I hope you slowed
down with that kid in your car.

Speaker 2 (17:42):
Like count and Junior and Ricky Bobby Baby, oh my god,
Talladegan Knights. Anytime we're driving, oh well.

Speaker 5 (17:48):
Especially on the road too, when we're in the van,
Like I'm I'm always offering and the bands like.

Speaker 2 (17:56):
Or not drive.

Speaker 3 (17:57):
We would like to make it to the next venue.

Speaker 2 (17:59):
Was trying to records.

Speaker 5 (18:00):
Nobody needs not only my flying on the road but
I'm now up in the air doing I'm getting my
pilet's license.

Speaker 3 (18:05):
So really, yeah, are you like a savant over there?
Very smart?

Speaker 2 (18:10):
Just like fast?

Speaker 3 (18:12):
Tell me about each other. Tell me your top favorite
three things about Rory and Rory. You're telling your top
favorite three things about Ryan.

Speaker 2 (18:19):
Let's see, that's that's that's tough because there's a lot
there's I would say. I'd say the number one thing
for me is aside from us being in a band
which turns into a business, which is I really really
like love hanging out with him, which is like an important,
super important thing. We don't have to be doing music,

(18:40):
taking photos, singing songs, writing any of that stuff to
go play.

Speaker 3 (18:45):
A round of golf, like just to enjoy his company.

Speaker 2 (18:47):
Heck yeah, we like we have a ton of ton
of stuff in common off of the business side of things.

Speaker 3 (18:52):
Such as sports.

Speaker 2 (18:55):
Like we we like pretty much the same TV shows,
same movies. We bring into cars, super into anything with
an engine, anything that.

Speaker 3 (19:02):
Goes y'all are like all boy here a guy. Yeah yeah,
So like what kind of movies do y'all like?

Speaker 2 (19:10):
Tad nights? Yeah, anything funny?

Speaker 3 (19:14):
What do you I'll talk about when you're just shooting
the ship. Cars.

Speaker 2 (19:18):
We know, we do. We talk about cars, we talk
about we do talk about golf a lot. It's honestly embarrassed. Yeah,
like it's it's like it's like, man, once once we
you know, once we're touring the way we want to
be touring, and we got the set up. There's this
golf course, there's you know, we've got like a bucket
list of golf courses and like biscuits and gravy places.

Speaker 5 (19:36):
Yeah that I am on the hunt for the best
biscuits and gravy in the land. I'm on the hunt
for it actually had some of the best in Florida
this past weekend.

Speaker 2 (19:45):
But yeah, that's what we look for. That's what we
talk about.

Speaker 3 (19:49):
Ryan.

Speaker 2 (19:49):
Ryan like.

Speaker 5 (19:55):
Super down the earth guy, incredible singer and songwriter. That's
gonna count as one thing for this purpose. And what
was the third thing? I mean, there's just so many Honestly,
I love his like outlallish type.

Speaker 3 (20:10):
Person lash That's the perfect way to describe you.

Speaker 5 (20:13):
Yeah, like uh, I mean he's not like, you know,
trying to like do like that. So I just like
I love hearing the stories that he tells about like
him growing up, especially with the cop car thing, painting
it like the Brentwood colors.

Speaker 2 (20:24):
So yeah, really I really toned it down.

Speaker 3 (20:29):
Maybe just toned it up in other ways.

Speaker 2 (20:30):
Okay, he's just super street smart, That's what I'm getting.

Speaker 3 (20:33):
Yeah, yeah, you know your way around?

Speaker 2 (20:35):
Yeah, two degree. I guess maybe he's been around the
block if.

Speaker 3 (20:39):
He have outlash though, like I am so like, this
means a lot that Jamie Johnson gave his stamp of
approval for you guys and y'all are doing a duet
with him. Did he write the song for y'all or
did y'all write it with him?

Speaker 5 (20:51):
So Jamie, Jamie, his dad and Jerry House written the
song like fifteen years ago.

Speaker 2 (20:56):
You tell the story. They wrote it around when I
was around twenty years old. I think it is how
old I was of lost track.

Speaker 3 (21:02):
But yeah, it's the way have some tequila. Yeah, straight up.

Speaker 2 (21:07):
It's a song that's been been hanging around for a
long time and having Jamie's I mean stamp of approval
And he said.

Speaker 3 (21:13):
Wait, I have this quote and I have to read
it because I was literally like, Jamie Johnson does not
say this about people, and not that he's like the
end all be all, But like he like, is I
trust him? And he says, if I were a gambler,
I'd bet at all on these two. He's like, the
last time I bet on someone was Megan Maroney. I
was like, holy craow, Jamie Johnson is in your corner.
That's a big deal.

Speaker 2 (21:33):
Yeah. It still flips me on to hear that, honestly.

Speaker 3 (21:36):
So, how did y'all get back to this song?

Speaker 2 (21:38):
This song? Wait?

Speaker 3 (21:39):
What's the song called together again?

Speaker 2 (21:40):
Okay, so it's it's it's funny. This is like inside
baseball talk, but it's it makes sense for the story.
But my publisher actually is kind of responsible for putting
Jamie and my dad together as writers back in the day.
And he's been he's been around the business forever, and
I mean he didn't miss a beat. He was like,
whatever happened to that song? And as soon as he

(22:01):
said it, all these memories sort of flooded back in
my head. I was like, oh my gosh, that song
is I remember it clear as day. Why has no
one done this song? And I thought that if we
could do it justice, it would be an incredible song
for us, even without Jamie. If we could just do
it close enough because of his voice, it's so you know,
it's just so large, it's just such presence. And we

(22:25):
asked him to do it and he was, I mean,
more than down is like an understatement.

Speaker 3 (22:29):
He was, just that's amazing because he doesn't do stuff
like that, know, well, not even if he's your best friend,
if he doesn't think you're he ain't gonna.

Speaker 2 (22:37):
What do you say to your dad? He was like, Keith,
I'll do anything for your boy.

Speaker 3 (22:41):
He just has loved you for so long.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
Yeah, and he and then he said, right after that,
he said, can we cuss? Yeah, right after that he
right after that, he said, you're gonna have that one,
but he can't have any of those other fucking songs,
which is you know, kind of quintessential Jamie fashion, true
Jamie fashion. And yeah, we feel like that was an

(23:05):
incredibly early I mean, bucket list is cliche, but thing
to get, yeah, just to.

Speaker 3 (23:10):
Get the momentum rolling even more, Like I feel like
the momentum. I feel like that's something that is so
hard to get going, is momentum, you know, and especially
with all the artists out there and all of the
people who are so talented, but you guys are just
like rolling like it's like it's going quickly too. I
feel like y'all are picking up steam, like y'all got
an early endorsement from Jamie Johns.

Speaker 2 (23:29):
Yeah, yeah, we have deal.

Speaker 5 (23:31):
We have come a long way in the last I
guess how old are we just enact now, like a year.

Speaker 3 (23:35):
And yeah, a lot like a lot of followers already.

Speaker 5 (23:39):
Yeah, it's been fun and like we like like we
got signed by bmgbb R zero social media, zero TikTok
following they just signed us based off the music, which
I mean that just a yeah, no, it doesn't at all, No,
and that's why they're the best label in town best.

Speaker 3 (23:57):
I feel like they have some of the strongest artists
in town too.

Speaker 2 (24:00):
They have such a diverse, unique roster and artist Yeah,
and they and they the part of the reason we
love them as much is they're they're always pushing, like
they're pushing the limits all the time. And for us
to be signed with with no social media.

Speaker 3 (24:14):
Is crazy, kind of actually unbelievable, yea.

Speaker 2 (24:18):
Is it really is pretty pretty wild looking.

Speaker 3 (24:21):
Just like play for them and they're exactly and they
just signed you like a processors. It kind of like
you're in.

Speaker 2 (24:27):
It was pretty much that that, like we we we
just went in with acoustics and and played. Yeah crazy right,
imagine someone playing music and getting signed anymore? Yeah, I know.

Speaker 5 (24:42):
Okay, it's usually hey, you got five million followers?

Speaker 2 (24:45):
Okay, like that's not that. We might have you, have
you come in for a meeting.

Speaker 3 (24:49):
But have you had a viral hit yet?

Speaker 2 (24:51):
It wasn't. It was very much not what do people
think of you? It's like, what do we think of you?

Speaker 3 (24:56):
It's unbelievable. That's crazy way to of like support like
that in the beginning, you know, thanks, so once they
signed you, what's been happening? Y'all have been recording? You
put a self titled EP last year, last summer, and
then y'all just been dropping.

Speaker 2 (25:11):
Content content content, It never ends. It was a real
full time job over it.

Speaker 3 (25:19):
Because y'all have quickly gained a ton of followers.

Speaker 2 (25:21):
It's been it's honestly made it. In the beginning, it
was daunting, but now it's it's become pretty fun.

Speaker 3 (25:26):
How did you get all these followers? What did y'all do?
Just be funny and cute and talented?

Speaker 2 (25:31):
Maybe that's it. Maybe that's it.

Speaker 3 (25:34):
Maybe is there any secrets?

Speaker 2 (25:36):
That's it, that's it. Yeah, I mean that's the secret.

Speaker 3 (25:38):
Just be funny so much behind yours, you know, you know,
so you're like the Ozzard of oz like you know
so many things just from growing up the industry, you know,
and living so many lives.

Speaker 2 (25:49):
That the secret is just consistency. Like it's really just
like I mean, you know, as much as we do.
It's just it's doing it on the days you don't
want to do it. Yeah, and trying to reinvent the
wheel a little bit. And yeah, I mean kind of
being yourself. I mean as much as you can. Yeah,
it's it's gotten a lot more fun.

Speaker 3 (26:08):
I will say that, like y'all's videos are fun.

Speaker 2 (26:10):
Thanks in the beginning, when you're doing them to no one,
it's really upsetting.

Speaker 5 (26:15):
We were trying to figure out how do we push
this boat off the doc man and then we were like,
all right, it's going out, like let's do it, and then
we just went We've been balls of the walls ever since.

Speaker 3 (26:23):
So I love it. Okay, So what songs are coming out?
You are touring right now? You have toured with like
Sam Hunt, you who've been toured with so far.

Speaker 2 (26:29):
Sam Brett Young.

Speaker 5 (26:31):
We just played at Canada and out in the Southwest
with Back in the Spring, Tyler Braden, Jamie Johnson, Jake Going.

Speaker 2 (26:38):
We did a weekend with.

Speaker 3 (26:39):
Jacob just like coming in Hot.

Speaker 2 (26:41):
Coming in Hot, And we got a new song coming
out in a couple of weeks.

Speaker 3 (26:46):
Okay, this is going to be airing. I think the
week that it comes out. What's it called?

Speaker 2 (26:49):
Girls are pretty? Girls are pretty? Oh?

Speaker 3 (26:51):
Who's that about?

Speaker 2 (26:53):
It's about It's about all of them for you?

Speaker 3 (26:57):
Ryan? Yeah, married man?

Speaker 2 (26:59):
I'm married man?

Speaker 3 (27:00):
How did you decide to get married?

Speaker 2 (27:02):
How did I decide to get married? How walk through that?
If everyone anyone's ever been asked that? I just feel like,
did you decide to get married?

Speaker 3 (27:10):
I feel like you were a ramblin man. Your wife,
I know, is spectacular. She probably decided that she was
ready to marry you because she's a rock star.

Speaker 2 (27:18):
Yeah, she's a rock star.

Speaker 3 (27:19):
You seem like someone that might not have gotten married
for a while.

Speaker 2 (27:21):
We didn't get married for a while. Wow, that's you're
really exposing me feel you know. No, we did not
get married for how long? Uh?

Speaker 3 (27:31):
Ten years?

Speaker 2 (27:32):
No? We dated. It's time to.

Speaker 3 (27:33):
Get real, get rid Okay, yeah, okay. And she's just
a badass, isn't she?

Speaker 2 (27:41):
She is badass? Yeah she is.

Speaker 3 (27:43):
I mean to hang in there with a musician for
that long. Believe me, I am a badass as well.
I've done it myself.

Speaker 2 (27:47):
She's more talented than me.

Speaker 3 (27:48):
Is she a musician?

Speaker 2 (27:49):
No, she is a creative director, costume designer and bridle
oh outfits. No, she does not designed my outfits yet. No,
she should give it a swing.

Speaker 3 (28:00):
Give it a swing. Have you seen how guys.

Speaker 2 (28:02):
What we're doing is we're out. We're out. We're not
doing that.

Speaker 3 (28:04):
I'll tell you, like Raylan and Landy Wilson, they get
their custom outfits now. And I'm telling you, no guys
are doing it. Jake Owen did it for a while
with some of those jackets.

Speaker 2 (28:12):
But you don't bring on.

Speaker 3 (28:13):
That if you have a designer in your house.

Speaker 2 (28:16):
I mean, I do have a designer.

Speaker 3 (28:17):
We're missing an opportunity, I am you are listen, Rory,
y'all need to get on that. I know that's mixing
business and pleasure, but it sounds like y'all are good
at that.

Speaker 2 (28:25):
You know what. Let's give it a shot. Yeah, yeah,
I'll just her bridal stuff will really call it for us?

Speaker 3 (28:33):
Okay, So how's married like Ben? And how did y'all
decide it was finally time? Because dating a musician is
not easy and it's not for the faint of heart.

Speaker 2 (28:40):
I mean, married life is is awesome. I love it.
It's it even though we dated for a long time.
It does feel very different to me, and a lot
of people are like, oh, it doesn't feel different, it's
just this and that. I think it feels way way
different different to me. I don't like the word official,
but I do. I do like I do like the symbol,

(29:03):
like the symbolism of her. It's her commitment to me
that is really cool. Like I was always in my
mind committed to her, but for her to be like, yeah,
I actually this is the person forever, both in life
and legally, it's a huge deal to me. It feels different.
It feels more connected, I guess would be the word, and.

Speaker 3 (29:22):
Feel like grounded, like you have a home base.

Speaker 2 (29:24):
Yeah I do what. It feels like there were roots
now they're water So.

Speaker 3 (29:30):
I love that. And then did y'all mean to have
a baby or was that a surprise or was that
like planned? It's gonna be the greatest thing that ever.

Speaker 2 (29:37):
I want to say, we did mean to, We did
mean to and it it happened on the first try.

Speaker 3 (29:44):
So are you serious. That's a huge blessing.

Speaker 2 (29:46):
Yeah, Oh my gosh, boy is a boy?

Speaker 3 (29:49):
Are you sharing the name?

Speaker 2 (29:51):
His name is? His name is gonna be whiley oh,
his full name will be Wilder. So she it was
her name. She's had it forever, even way before we
decided to.

Speaker 3 (30:01):
Have kids, and so Wiley has been in the of
his behavior back I really honestly.

Speaker 2 (30:07):
On my solo record, there's a song called Wilder. So
it's a name that's been hanging around for us for
a long time.

Speaker 3 (30:13):
Oh my gosh, it's amazing. Well, you're gonna have the
best time as the dad, the greatest.

Speaker 2 (30:19):
Any second, it could happen, like literally.

Speaker 3 (30:21):
Like she's doing any second.

Speaker 2 (30:22):
Yeah, oh my god, might be happening right now. Could be.

Speaker 3 (30:25):
This is so exciting.

Speaker 2 (30:26):
Yeah, it's really exciting.

Speaker 3 (30:27):
Congratulations, thank you.

Speaker 2 (30:29):
Okay, breaking news.

Speaker 3 (30:30):
Here, it is breaking news. And Rory you said you
are just single, very are we mingling?

Speaker 2 (30:35):
Maybe?

Speaker 3 (30:36):
Yes? What is it like being out there is a
very young, chandsome time old I just like.

Speaker 2 (30:42):
Doing my own thing.

Speaker 3 (30:43):
I'm just calling it like it is easy. And what
is dating like though? These days? Listen, I am forty
one and I miss the dating apps. Like, I don't
even know how y'all date? How do you date? Like?
What is someone like you doing?

Speaker 5 (30:58):
If it's meant to be for me to meet someone
while I'm out in the while doing my thing, then sure.

Speaker 3 (31:02):
But are you trying to get in a relationship or
do you like being single? Did you get in a relationship?

Speaker 2 (31:08):
Not right now?

Speaker 3 (31:09):
You're not ready?

Speaker 2 (31:09):
No, no, no, I just want to do my own thing.

Speaker 3 (31:12):
Okay, yeah, okay, okay, but one day do you want
to get settled down? Maybe we're not thinking about it.

Speaker 2 (31:18):
We're just we're just we're just we're just doing our thing.

Speaker 3 (31:22):
Somebody in mind, Listen, I just want to know what
I am.

Speaker 2 (31:25):
I am opening a rollingex right now. I do like contact.

Speaker 3 (31:29):
I just want you to know I have two marriages
under my belt. I have match made two people, and there.

Speaker 2 (31:34):
I knew it. You're the one to talk to about this,
all right.

Speaker 3 (31:37):
If you're ready to settle down, you call me. I'm
a little bit rusty, but I still think I have
it in that.

Speaker 5 (31:42):
I'm opening the possibility, you know, yeah, Okay, yeah, Yeah,
that's exciting.

Speaker 3 (31:56):
So we're just having the time of our lives. Is
Ryan and Rory?

Speaker 2 (31:59):
We are? Yeah, we're covering all bases.

Speaker 3 (32:01):
Yes, y'all are on the road. You are putting out singles,
you have a new single coming out the end of.

Speaker 2 (32:08):
August, recording new music, and a lot of touring coming
up and.

Speaker 3 (32:14):
Within the fall.

Speaker 2 (32:15):
Can we say we're good?

Speaker 3 (32:16):
Can we say?

Speaker 2 (32:17):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (32:17):
So we we were gonna go back to Okay, Canada
and open for the James Barker Band for a bunch
of dates, Okay, and then then.

Speaker 2 (32:27):
Are we yeah?

Speaker 5 (32:27):
Okay, so we're going out with John Morgan. I'm trying
to figure out for announcement.

Speaker 3 (32:31):
On the podcast. He's great, He's awesome, He's so great.
He's a broken bow too.

Speaker 2 (32:36):
Yeah, he's a he's a funny he's a funny dude.
I really were so pumped.

Speaker 3 (32:40):
What is y'all gonna be like with him? A blast
of course?

Speaker 2 (32:43):
Yeah, hell yeah.

Speaker 5 (32:44):
It's all like Southwest and Western dates, a bunch of
cities I've never been to personally, so I'm I'm stoked
about it.

Speaker 2 (32:50):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (32:50):
Is it?

Speaker 2 (32:50):
So?

Speaker 3 (32:51):
Bunch of touring the world is this your You've toured
a lot, Is this your first time like touring on
a big scale?

Speaker 2 (32:55):
I would say so, yeah.

Speaker 5 (32:56):
I mean I've traveled quite a bit for other stuff,
but yeah, like actually getting out there and doing what
you love and playing the different new faces and making
new fans and friends out there on the road. It's
also super like he's a big gear head, so like
he is in very into the minutia of you know,
the tech.

Speaker 2 (33:14):
So he's he's like thriving.

Speaker 3 (33:17):
Does that mean exactly break that down a little bit more.

Speaker 5 (33:19):
What that means is not only my path the artist,
but I'm also a production manager to assist, tour manager,
musical director and whatever else.

Speaker 3 (33:28):
A smart like you have a brain that feels like
you like a ridiculous Are you like kind of mathematical,
very rigid? Yeah, like your brain do you like see
things like as math equations?

Speaker 2 (33:37):
Not everything but not everything.

Speaker 3 (33:41):
But you're creative? But like are your are you like
like you know, some creatives are like are out in
the clouds and are just like in the ether, and
there's some who are like very creative. But there's like
the Dan in the shade, you know, like Dan is
the one who's like he's so particular about the.

Speaker 5 (33:55):
Sound and the music and more like him for sure. Okay,
I'm feeling it just depends how much tequila is in
my system.

Speaker 3 (34:03):
On aequila help or not help?

Speaker 2 (34:06):
It depends.

Speaker 3 (34:07):
I feel like we think it helps, but maybe it doesn't.
Maybe there's a perfect little.

Speaker 2 (34:11):
Tell you what helps? Some play a mean.

Speaker 3 (34:12):
Piano reallytioned you right on up?

Speaker 2 (34:15):
Oh yeah, okay, yeah, I did used to playing piano bars.

Speaker 3 (34:19):
So when you were in Myrtle Beach, what were you
doing exactly? What was your day to day?

Speaker 5 (34:22):
So I was at this place called the Carolina Opry
for like four years. That's where I like I called
it by college. Essentially, I played six nights a week,
year round on stage doing shows. I was one of
the lead singers in the in the year round show
down there. And then COVID happened and I decided I
wanted to get the Nashville more, go out with a
band and like tour you know, the Southeast and play

(34:44):
college shows, frat parties, the whole nine. So I did
a lot of that, and I also got into playing
dueling piano bars.

Speaker 3 (34:51):
Dueling, Yeah, what is that?

Speaker 2 (34:52):
Like?

Speaker 3 (34:53):
I've been to one on Nashville. Like you literally it's
like improvising right now, right.

Speaker 5 (34:56):
It's not like you're critical, It's not like it's not
like two people like trying to play louder than the
other with out with swords doing each other. It's just
you know, like a sing along, clap long I all
request show basically, so you just have to.

Speaker 3 (35:10):
Like it's kind of like a free flow.

Speaker 2 (35:12):
Yeah, there's no setlist. That's the glory of it. Like
you have. Every night is different. You have no idea
what you're gonna play. You can hear like thirty seconds
of a song.

Speaker 3 (35:19):
How do you work with the other piano player? Like
how does that?

Speaker 5 (35:22):
It just kind of happens, like they like you do
a song and they do a song and yeah.

Speaker 2 (35:26):
And like they'll like sometimes the other guy will like
take a song he knows better and it's good at
or like it's a part of his set, or he'll
do the same. But they they like, I mean, thirty
seconds of a song. You can listen out of a
phone and just play.

Speaker 3 (35:39):
Do you like a photographic memory?

Speaker 5 (35:41):
No, not at all, But when when it comes to ye,
I'm feeling that when it comes to like hearing songs
like I can remember that, but I can't remember what
I had for lunch yesterday, that kind of thing.

Speaker 3 (35:50):
Yeah, okay, that's great. Yeah, I'll messy or clean. How
do we live together?

Speaker 5 (35:55):
Well, we don't live together, I guess, so yeah yeah,
yeah you got mean we're as clean as we can.

Speaker 3 (36:03):
But yeah, okay, so y'all just like I'm.

Speaker 5 (36:05):
I'm yeah, I am too. Our Our tour manager is
uh that he makes sure that you know, clean van clean,
clean everything, so.

Speaker 2 (36:14):
It does get gross.

Speaker 3 (36:16):
Yeah, but.

Speaker 2 (36:18):
We're all we all take showers and stuff. We like
doing that hygiene. Yeah, we're into that. We're big time
on the hygiene.

Speaker 3 (36:26):
That's great. Yeah, okay guys, so what are we looking
forward to? Just like keeping this going? Get y'all created
it as soon as you met what was happening touring.
It's going fast. Singles are coming easily. Are y'all writing together?

Speaker 2 (36:40):
Yeah? Oh yeah, yeah, okay as much as we can. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (36:43):
We just did a rider's trip down in Panama City,
Florida with right while together to absolutely I would say so.

Speaker 3 (36:49):
Yeah right, so this was just like an instant.

Speaker 2 (36:51):
Yeah, that was the part I was the most like always,
that's the part I put the most weight on, Like,
is this going to go good? Because we're gonna play
like we play good? I know? Are we gonna be
able to write together because we've never written and it's
it's such a like it elevates the song so much
actually having him.

Speaker 5 (37:08):
It's just so cool for us to bring like different
strong suits to the table and lay it down, you know,
when we're writing with you know, not only us but
our co writers, and it's it's such a cool feeling.

Speaker 3 (37:17):
Honestly, Yeah, that's awesome.

Speaker 2 (37:20):
You're right, we're firing on all cylinders over here.

Speaker 3 (37:23):
You really are. Have you thought this excited in a while?

Speaker 2 (37:26):
Absolutely? Not not even close.

Speaker 3 (37:30):
I think that's key, too, is to have that like
that energy where it's like it feels like, oh my god,
this is actually.

Speaker 2 (37:35):
Absolutely I mean especially I've been doing this a long.

Speaker 3 (37:38):
Time, You've been doing it on the song time.

Speaker 2 (37:41):
Yeah, in the business, Like, I'm more excited about this
than I was about tonight tonight.

Speaker 3 (37:47):
Really yeah, and you know how it feels to like
kind of be on top and have the accolade.

Speaker 2 (37:52):
Absolutely.

Speaker 5 (37:54):
Not only that, but I was going to say, like
Ryan told me one time, man, I've played a Dick
Clarks New Year's Even Times Square And this was after
we got off stage at the Grand Ole Opry.

Speaker 2 (38:02):
The Grand Ole Opry was was way cool.

Speaker 3 (38:04):
You just did that too, Yeah, that's awesome.

Speaker 2 (38:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (38:08):
So was there ever, like with hot Shelt right coming
into this, was there ever like a You're you've done
the highs and the lows so much, You're you're probably
not chasing highs and lows anymore. What are you chasing?
Because you know what it's like, you know what accolades
are like. Its success is like being on tour with
like huge people like Taylor Swift, but like, y'all are
chasing something different. I feel like, do you feel that?

Speaker 2 (38:29):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (38:29):
Yeah, it's just because I think we're doing something different
here in our space and I think we we we
deserve the take as far as we can take it.

Speaker 2 (38:37):
I think the landscape is different now, so it changes
your goals like it used to, Like before social was
so big and this and that was so big, it
was kind of just more like this linear climb. At
the top, it's like, oh, if I can pass jump
this person on the mountain, jump this person on the mountain,
and the whole The fact of the matter is it's
not the mountains not like this anymore. There's all kinds
of tunnels through it and ways to get through it.

(38:58):
So true for us, I think it's just I want
to write the next song that has not been thought of,
not been done, and have it connect with people in
a way they go, I haven't heard that. I mean
for us, I would love it if every time somebody
goes who is this, it's always us.

Speaker 3 (39:16):
And I think there's a big spot for you guys,
because there's not a lot of duos either. I mean
like literally his brothers Osborne, who else, Hey, Dan and Jay? Oh,
there's some girls Maddie.

Speaker 5 (39:27):
And Tay and well then then Brooks and Done just
won another award.

Speaker 3 (39:32):
I mean they're always going to be Brooks and Yeah.

Speaker 2 (39:34):
No, of course we love them.

Speaker 4 (39:35):
Yeah, female duoes right now Tyer Lily, but it's not
it's not's not super crowded, and she's great and yeah,
we feel we feel lucky to we feel like we
shout gold.

Speaker 3 (39:47):
So heck yeah. Okay, So before we wrap it up,
let's give a recap of everything we need to know
for people to follow along. Where do they follow you?
Have we missed any key points? And then we all
sit around for a few extra questions. I'd like to
do a bonus episode of draw some deep questions and
answer from the burning pit of your soul. Recap though

(40:08):
everything we need to know. Touring, Where we can find you?
What's coming out?

Speaker 2 (40:11):
Yeah, social media.

Speaker 5 (40:13):
We only operate on MySpace, so that's the only place
you can find us there.

Speaker 2 (40:17):
Sorry, that's coold name a website that wasn't around and
you're born for No, I wasn't. I did not exist,
Yeah I did. No, We're we're everywhere. We're on TikTok
the most.

Speaker 3 (40:28):
Funny on TikTok too, thank you. Yeah, I like el TikTok.

Speaker 2 (40:31):
Try to be We're on TikTok the most. But we're
on Instagram, We're we're on everything and just Ryan and Rory, Yeah,
Royn and Rory music. Maybe on a couple of them,
but yeah, same thing. You'll find us. We're the only doing.

Speaker 3 (40:43):
Its even go perfectly together. I mean you're no.

Speaker 2 (40:47):
Yeah, everything happens for a reason, but yeah, we're that
on most things. We're touring this fall.

Speaker 5 (40:53):
Yeah, and then twelve songs out on all the DSP, Spotify, iTunes.

Speaker 3 (40:58):
And your latest song is dropping August twenty eighth.

Speaker 2 (41:00):
Yes, Caled girls are pretty.

Speaker 3 (41:02):
Girls are pretty.

Speaker 2 (41:03):
Yeah, and then yeah, just.

Speaker 5 (41:04):
Go go to the website or or whatever and find
our our tour tickets and come see us. And that's
the that's the cool thing I like to to say
about our show is that it's just way.

Speaker 2 (41:12):
Different than than what you hear on the on the Spotify.

Speaker 3 (41:15):
Ryan and Rory Show.

Speaker 2 (41:17):
It's just it. It just rips like it rips. The
band is awesome, he's insane. It's it's a lot more rockin'
I love that. Yeah, more solos, a lot more band moments.
It's really cool. And I know good chaos and I
talk a lot.

Speaker 3 (41:34):
You do well. You're very funny.

Speaker 2 (41:37):
I'm on commands yeap, yeaps. They're like, how long is
this set need to be? I'm like, I'm just give
me like twenty five minutes of talk. That's how kill time.

Speaker 3 (41:48):
That's amazing. But I noticed you were playing something like
that with your dad, wrote to the Old Pops. Yeah,
so how does your dad feel when he hears you do that?

Speaker 2 (41:55):
He loves it.

Speaker 3 (41:56):
He loves zimmer Cross something like that. Everyone listening. It
was a huge song that your dad wrote. And y'all
are covering that.

Speaker 2 (42:01):
Yeah, we're doing that. We're doing that into tonight tonight,
and it's and we kind of we want to leave
with what's important for us is like people don't know
us yet, so we've got a certain amount of time
for them to not only hear our music, but to
get to know us a little bit. And the crowd
just absolutely freaks out when we pull those Yeah, they
freak out, And it's a great way of us going like, hey,

(42:23):
here's my history, here's our history, here's where we're from.
This is our story.

Speaker 3 (42:28):
So cool. And what I love. I love that you
aren't running from the past, you know, because I feel
like before, like social media has helping so much help
so open people up because in the past people are like,
let's not ever talk about anything we've done before, and
let's just act like this is where we're starting. It
makes you so much more invested as a listener to
hear the depth of y'all story, to know what y'all
have been through, to know the past.

Speaker 5 (42:48):
Band, Well, that's what country music's about, is telling a story,
and that's what we're here to do.

Speaker 3 (42:53):
Story.

Speaker 2 (42:54):
That's the whole point We've we've we love it actually
it's it's become a huge part of our show and
you get to be.

Speaker 3 (43:02):
Real instead of having to just like be like, oh
this is just me. It's like no, this there's so
much that you can pull upon too and share and
people love it.

Speaker 2 (43:11):
Yeah, no, I we we love doing it live. It
absolutely slaps.

Speaker 3 (43:14):
That's great, guys, I love it so much. Okay. I
always wrap up with leave your Light, and it's just
a super open ended question and it's basically drop some inspiration.
What do you want people to know?

Speaker 2 (43:28):
Hmmm, it's tough. That's a great question. What do we
want people to know to give them? It's really funny
that I would say follow us on social media. I
want people to know that you that life is Sometimes
social media is not necessary to enjoy your life, and

(43:49):
in fact, life can be a lot better without without
the phone for just a little bit, even if it's
a little bit, it's a lot better. So I love that.

Speaker 5 (44:00):
And then when you pick it back up obviously, yeah,
of course, yeah, I was going to say something similar.
I was in Florida this past week and my phone
was dead for like twelve hours and I loved every
single second of it. And then yeah, of course, turn
on the whole way through. Okay, yeah, check your email,
but yeah no, just get away from reality for a
few and that'll really clear things up.

Speaker 3 (44:22):
And I love it too. You are kind of like
a destiny story where it's like just sort of trust
the process too, because who would have ever thought y'all
would have come together with the beginning of your music careers.
You know, like you could have never planned for this.

Speaker 2 (44:35):
It's awesome to hear you say that, because that's how
we feel.

Speaker 3 (44:39):
It does feel, you know, you got to believe in
destiny a little bit, because it's like when you're doing
Hot shell Rey, when you're in Myrtle Beach doing your
residency and doing all those shows. Sure y'all aren't thinking
about forming a country.

Speaker 2 (44:49):
Do not at all, not at all. It was the
last thing my Bengo card, honestly, right. It just kind
of happens so and.

Speaker 3 (44:55):
Life will bring you to your destiny if you just
keep following it. I feel like and I think y'are great,
Like y'all proof of that, and it's really cool to
see and it's cool to see how y'all get along
so well, how y'all gel so naturally. The music's amazing.
The songs are great, the momentum is like hot, and
I'm just so happy for y'all. I really am.

Speaker 2 (45:14):
That's why we're on this couch talking to you.

Speaker 3 (45:15):
Part of the destiny, you know, with a dog on
your shoulder.

Speaker 2 (45:18):
That's the only way to do it.

Speaker 3 (45:19):
It is Okay, Ryan and Rory, thank you so much
for joining me. Everyone check out on tour, check out
all your songs, and then everyone listen on Thursday because
we're gonna do this bonus episode. We're about to get
into the depths of your soul very quick though. Do
we get everything coverage on? Is there any any rent?
Okay we can. Okay, y'allre awesome. I'm excited to get
to be here in the beginning.

Speaker 2 (45:39):
Yeah,
