Carrie Lyne, she's a queen talking you the song. You know,
she's getting not afraid to feel as episode, so just
let it flow.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
No one can do required. Cary Lone is sounding Caroline.
Speaker 1 (00:28):

lightening conversation. She is the Carrie Bradshaw of this day
and age. You are a sexpert. You have a column
in Women's Health, you teach a college class, You've written.

Speaker 4 (00:58):
The Internet's residence expert.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
The Internet's resident sexpert.
Speaker 1 (01:02):
So we had such a great conversation, a very enlightening
conversation about how sex truly does just affect your entire
well being and you really are taking the shame out
of it and helping people to be educated and to
learn about themselves, which is the most important thing first.
Speaker 3 (01:20):
So it's such a great conversation.
Speaker 1 (01:21):
Thank you so much, and now we're gonna do tell
me more So I'm just gonna just tell me when
you see one that you want, just tell me when
you see one and you want.
Speaker 4 (01:27):
Me to draw that one.
Speaker 3 (01:28):
This one wait right here?
Speaker 1 (01:30):
Yeah, okay, So this one says, what do you think
your eight year old self would think about the person
you are today?
Speaker 4 (01:39):
Oh? She would be shocked.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
She would Why she would be so shocked at eight
years old? I mean, and you know, being like a
practicing Buddhism and going to Catholic school.
Speaker 4 (01:51):
Like, she would not think that I am who I
am now, the Internet's resident sexpert talking about sex every
single day of my life. No, she would be shocked.
But at the same time, I'm really proud.
Speaker 3 (02:01):
What would she be proud of?
Speaker 4 (02:03):
She would be proud that I lived my life unapologetically.
Speaker 2 (02:05):
That I'm honest in every way possible, and I care
about myself and others deeply, and I'm helping the world
become a better place.
Speaker 3 (02:14):
Okay, Okay, so tell them when to stop that one. Okay,
What life situation has contributed to your strength or resilience?
My divorce really tell me about that.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
It was one of the most difficult times of my
life to be a professor, because at that time I
had already started being a professor at cal State Fullerton
to be a professor teaching about sexual wellness and relationships
and how to have a good relationship, and like going
through my own failure in a relationship and that you know,
(02:51):
I don't call that now. I call it a huge blessing.
But during that time, I felt like it was a
failure that had a huge, a huge self esteem hit,
a huge like confusion in my life, like what is
going on? You know, even though I was the person
that asked for a divorce, it was really hard. I
(03:11):
was waking up crying every single day for like three weeks,
and it was a really hard time to go through.
But at the same time, I find it like the
most beneficial now because I can help people that have
gone through a divorce and I know exactly how it
feels and how shame can kind of engulf your entire
(03:32):
being and you know, you just feel like you're not
good enough and you don't deserve good things. So I
now think it's a huge blessing that I can relate
to millions of people that have gone.
Speaker 4 (03:42):
Through a divorce.
Speaker 3 (03:44):
Okay, we'll do Okay, tell me what.
Speaker 4 (03:49):
I'll do that one. Okay, I love these cards. I
know they're called tell me more love it.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
What's a question you wish you could get an answer for.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
Why we feel emotions because scientists can't explain it.
Speaker 4 (04:09):
Really, no they can't.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
No, they know like what happens in the body when
you feel emotions, but they don't.
Speaker 4 (04:16):
But we don't know why we feel emotions.
Speaker 2 (04:18):
Like would wouldn't life be easier if none of us
feel emotions and everyone just operate?
Speaker 4 (04:24):
But but then we would have no boring.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
It'd be so boring.
Speaker 1 (04:27):
There'd be no.
Speaker 2 (04:30):
Yeah, there would be no conflict because all conflicts come
from emotions.
Speaker 4 (04:34):
And we would all we wouldn't even really know what
we were doing.
Speaker 3 (04:37):
We'd just be like robots.
Speaker 4 (04:38):
Robots.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
Yeah, I know, but it's it would be cool to understand,
like why we feel the way we feel.
Speaker 3 (04:44):
Yeah, I guess it's how we shape our lives ultimately.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
Yeah, everything, I mean, even like when people study, you know,
purchasing psychology, like sales, right, the whole world is about
like buying and selling, and people were like, yeah, like
those buyers are emotional buyers. Oh I bet, yeah, And
that's why you need to understand how to invoke emotions
so they buy more, which is yeah. I just always
(05:09):
find it interesting, like why do we have emotions because
it's hard.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
It's hard to make a human human is like the
hardest thing wherever.
Speaker 4 (05:17):
It's a lot of work. Yeah, but a lot of work,
I know, not.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
Like dolphins swim around and your crew having group sex.
Speaker 1 (05:27):
So maybe in your next life you'll come back as
a dolphin.
Speaker 4 (05:29):
Right maybe, But.
Speaker 1 (05:32):
I hear once you become like a human, you can't
go back to animals.
Speaker 4 (05:35):
That's what I heard too, about like going different up
different planes.
Speaker 3 (05:38):
Yeah, so I guess we'll just have to see.
Speaker 4 (05:41):
We'll have to doctor Tara.
Speaker 3 (05:42):

Speaker 1 (05:45):
