carry line is sound like Carolyne. Okay, we are back

eating tomato soup to getting Song of the Year with

you're signed to Scotts had a big machine after you
wrote him a letter when you're thirteen. So y'all, y'all
need to tune in and hear grayland story on our
full episode that we did on Monday. Ruby. He likes
that she bought in look at Ruby. She is just
(01:18):
here for the web. Okay, so now just draw a
few cards that are.
Speaker 1 (01:21):
Calling out to you. A few cards. Yeah, just like
three to four that you said me here.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
Yeah, And these are not like tarot cards. These are
just like deep questions because don't you want to share
more of your soul?
Speaker 1 (01:32):
All right? Three or four? Yeah? Four?
Speaker 2 (01:34):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (01:35):
Great?
Speaker 2 (01:36):
Right? Don't you just yep and just read the ruby
is going to be here for you.
Speaker 1 (01:42):
What conversation will encounter with a stranger we never forget. Ooh,
that's a that's a tough one.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (01:52):
I've had a lot of those, just you know, being
on the road. Uh A good bed. I think that
I've got these little these little bracelets that people have
been giving me. I'm super exciting. But I had somebody
a few months ago bring me some bracelets. But then
they also brought me this little key chains, and you know,
it was a wild thing that I was. I was
missing my grandfather was around his birthday and you know
(02:12):
he's up in heaven now, and so I was kind
of missing them. I've been talking to my buddies about
it in the band on the road that weekend, and
then Chick walks up with these bracelets. But then it
was like I got you something else and it was
a key chain, uh that had a picture of me
and my grandfather in it, and it was unreal and
I'd never met this chick before and yeah she gave
(02:33):
that to me and I just like I was speechless
and uh, you know, got super emotional and yeah, it's
it was something that I just walked away called my
parents and I was like, I believe what just happened.
So I've had funny stories, but that was, uh, you
never know, you know, doing something random like that could
meet to somebody. Yeah, exactly, So that was a I
(02:54):
don't think that person is a stranger anymore, but that
was badass. So thank you for that. That's awesome, all right.
What food or song always brings back good memories? Or
food or song? That's a crazy group. What food brings
back memories? I mean that's a I think, you know,
(03:14):
anytime I go to KFC, like, I just that's that's
a weird one, dude, you know. And I don't think
KFC has ever hit the spot, but I crave it
every now and then. And every now and then we
go to lakes as kids, and you know, we take
a bucket of KFC up there. But I'm gonna go
with song instead because that's a little easier. Baby. Write
(03:34):
this down by George Straight. That was the first song
I ever learned how to sing all the way through.
I was four years old and I learned how to
sing that song on my karaoke machine that we had
as kids. And uh, anytime I hear that song, I'm
always like, yeah, this is the first song I ever learned. Yeah,
that that got the ball rolling for me. So maybe
write this down that way better answer than KFC. What's
the biggest feeling you have right now? Oh, the biggest
(03:59):
feeling is crazy. Yeah, I think, uh, surreal. I would
say I'm feeling like my career is surreal right now because, uh,
I've been waiting for a song to kind of do
what this current song is doing, Water at a wedding,
and uh, you know, I I've never had a song
(04:20):
that every time I post it, I'm just getting like
an insane amount of comments and sane amount of love,
and uh, you know, I feel like it's happening. And
you know, I've had multiple times in my career where
I'm like, is it gonna happen? And it feels like
it is so I'm feeling, uh yeah, surreal and gratitude.
Right now, I'd say that's awesome. Boom locking in you
(04:41):
imagine your happy place, where is it and what are
you doing there? That's easy. My parents have a little
lake cabin northon Knoxville. It's it's a tiny little thing
up there, but it's on Norse Lake and they bought
it when I was a year old and my brother
was just born. And uh, we spend pretty much every summer,
every weekend of every summer up there as kids. And
(05:04):
anytime that I'm like on an airplane, I'm getting stressed
and oh my god, my god, i just want to
close my eyes go to sleep. Right now, I think
of being there, sitting on the on the dock and
uh just chilling with a Budweiser, you know, just uh
just relaxing, and yeah, being with my family and being
at the lake.
Speaker 2 (05:19):
Are your family your favorite people?
Speaker 1 (05:21):
Absolutely absolutely all. My all my core of friends of
family I've got. I can't pick between them, you know,
they're they're all. They all mean a lot to me
in a lot of different ways. So I've got a
great support syste oh lucky, yeah, one hundred. So I've
got crazy excess and great family. That's absolutely true.
Speaker 2 (05:37):
Well maybe you're crazy x too.
Speaker 1 (05:39):
Oh absolutely. I am definitely somebody's worst story for sure.
Speaker 2 (05:47):
Hey you know, but at least you're getting some great songs.
Speaker 1 (05:49):
Out of it, right, Oh? Absolutely? And yeah one hundred percent.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
Yeah. Well, Raylan, thank you so much for joining. You're
going on Tory col S Window Water Wedding is out.
We are just gonna hope for that sequel to the
song and get the answer soon, and congrats on everything waited,
just like Ride the Ways and like do It.
Speaker 1 (06:07):
Absolutely, thank you so much for having me.
Speaker 2 (06:10):
