Speaker 1 (00:09):
Carl Lone. She's a queen and talking and a song.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
She's getting not afraid to feel episode, so just let
it flow.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
No one can do. We quite like Carylne's sound of Caroline.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
Okay, and we are back.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
Just had a brief intermission talking about tapeworms and parasite cleanses,
and Lauren is now going to I.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Guess I gotta do one. You gotta the only option.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
Yeah, because like literally we all have parasites. I just
did a chronic and a worm came out and it
was I just it's just it's just a feeling that
you can't describe.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
Thanks for making me aware of this, because I have
got That's exactly what I'm gonna do when I get
home at Google how to get rid of.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
I'm gonna I can give you. I can give you
a great protocol, but also your manager.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
Has a great produces a lot about this.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
I mean, parasite cleansing is the wave of the future.
It is really good fun.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
I'm sold, I know.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
But you have to do correctly because like you have
to like make sure detoks the heavy metals first and
then you do the paris anyway, Okay, great, so everyone,
we just had a great conversation with Lord Watkins. That
was so fun. That a love chatting. You're so exciting.
You have a new album coming out October tenth YEP,
called In a Perfect World.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
Yes, so exciting.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
We talked all about that. You're married. Your love story
involves making out after car rides. That's smoking cigarettes. You
married an incredible country boy. Love it so much, so
much fun. Now we're gonna tell me more. So draw
like three cards that you know.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Okay to what is this asking? You're just going to
get to the depths of your soul? Oh about me? Okay, yes, yes, yes,
what's a personal goal you're working towards? Hmmm, I guess
so personal means like not career.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
Yeah, but it's hard when your career is you your
career is so personal.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
I mean, Okay, a career goal that I have would
where do you want me to put this? Would be
to headline the rhyme in someday. That's a huge goal
I have. Yes, yeah, I love that. It'll happen. It
will happen one day soon hopefully. Yeah. Okay, let's see
what okay, well yeah, yeah, yeah, what's something you think
is more challenging? For you than it is for other people,

(02:21):
you know, hmm hm hmmm. I'm like everything, I know,
what is more challenging for me?

Speaker 1 (02:35):
Well?

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Sorry, I'm just really thinking hard about this.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Well, that's kind of a tricky question.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
I think. Well, we talked about people pleasing earlier. That's
always been a challenge for me. I don't know if
it's harder for me than it is for other people,
but I do think that's something I've always struggled with.
And yeah, I guess I would say people pleasing that. Yeah, okay,
she got born. This is scary. I know, what is

(03:03):
it going to be when you look back at your
life so far? What's something you're surprised you did Joe's
tried or became ooh this is good. Okay. Well, when
I was in college, I was terrified of doing music.
Like I think we probably touched on this earlier, but you.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
Were doing it with your sister and he said, I'm
just going a songwright, so now you're so.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
Low yeah, and I was like, oh my gosh, there's
no way I can. And it sort of like the
way the whole thing sort of came about was like
a lot more. It wasn't as quick as that. It
was like she slowly started doing her own thing. And
as I was going to college and I knew that
I was supposed to be doing music, but I was
so scared of it, Like and I literally remember going

(03:45):
to the bars in college and we would see there'd
be like a band or an artist playing on the stage,
and I would just be like, I know that's supposed
to be me, Like I know I'm supposed to be
the one doing that, and I would be so like
I don't even know. I don't sad is the wrong
word to describe it, but it was like a conviction.

(04:06):
But I kind of just thought like I'm never going
to be brave enough to do that, Like there's no way.
And then eventually I just I was working at my job,
my retail job. I worked at this little boutique in Oxford,
and I was sitting there and I was just having
this epiphany. I was like, what am I supposed to
be doing?

Speaker 1 (04:25):
Like?

Speaker 2 (04:25):
Am I supposed to be doing music? Am I supposed
to not be doing music? And I literally like felt
the Holy Spirit say to me, if you had no fear,
what would you be doing? And it was like music,
Obviously I would be doing music, and so I knew
that the only thing holding me back was fear. And
so before then I would be really surprised to see

(04:46):
all that I've done Now, Like I used to be
so scared to just play a tiny, tiny, little writer's
round and now seeing that I've played for stadiums and
the didn't conquer that fear, Yeah, just kicked it in.
Is it as scary as you thought it was, No,
it's not. It's it is scary, but it's really not.
It's like, you don't just you don't just go from

(05:08):
playing your guitar in your room to playing on a
stadium stage. I guess some people do, and that's great
for them, but for me, it was not like that
at all. It was like it was like a long,
slow build up and so which with each thing you
just kind of get better and better. And then by
the time I was playing on a stadium stage, I
had had enough shows under my belt where I felt like, Okay,
I've I know how to do this, like or I'll

(05:30):
at least figure it out what I get there. So
that's been really helpful, I think.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
But I love that you didn't let fear cripple you
because it can be crippling.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
Oh yeah, it can. You just have to do things
while you're afraid, Like, yeah, you can't wait for the
fear to pass, like it's probably not going to pass.
You have to just be okay with doing it while
you're scared.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
Yes. And then Bob Dapiro told me this a long
time ago. He said, fear is one hundred feet feet
wide and one hundred feet tall, but it's paper thin.
And I just have never forgotten that because that is
so true. It feels like it was all encompassing.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
I love it.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
That's all that you can see. But literally, once you
like walk through it, it just breaks, you know, But
you have to just go through it, do it. And
the actual fear of it is I feel like, oftentimes
way worse than the reality of doing it.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
Oh my gosh. Yes, yes, you never like fear is
just your imagining imaginary scenarios. It's not really. It's vainful,
literally not real. I know.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
I love it so much because you want more.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
Okay, okay, what's something? What's something you want? And are
also a bit afraid of kids. I get that. I
don't want kids right now? How old are you? Twenty six?

Speaker 1 (06:37):
You got so much.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
Yeah, I got I'm not in a rush at all,
but I do want kids someday, and yeah, I guess
I'm scared of it for any real reasons that anyway,
Having kids, Yeah it's life change.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
It's totally life changing. But it's also like the greatest
thing that will ever happen to you when you're ready
for it.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
Yeah. Yeah, that's what everyone says.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
It is. It's I remember before I had kids, I
was like, there's no way. It just felt too hard.
It felt like it was going to be so hard.
It's so overwhelming, and you just think, you hear all
the things that are so hard about it, but the
actual like joy of it is so overwhelming.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
That like the hard It is hard. It is so hard,
but it's it pushes you in a way that is
just so beautiful.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
Yeah. One, like you said earlier, like you're it changes
your priorities everything, it's just new things matter now.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
That's why when I had Sunny, I was like, I
can no longer just be sitting here worried about other
people and like feeling like I'm not worthy, because like
I have to be the example of I need to
feel worthy. And then I am like strong in myself
and so that sent me on my biggest healing journey. Yes,
like I am now her example.

Speaker 2 (07:44):
That's awesome, you know, it's amazing. That's gonna be great. Mom, Lauren, thanks,
you're so sweet.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
