Everyone deserves a weekly call from their mom. Unfortunately, not everyone has a mom to talk to right now. Weekly Call From Mom sends a little motherly love once a week to anyone who needs it. It may not be the most refined podcast out there, but it's from the heart. Just like a real call from mom, you get a little update about what is going on in the neighborhood, a bit of nagging to make sure you're taking care of yourself, and most importantly, a little unconditional love to let you know that you are alright and loved just like you are. For whatever reason, if you don't have your mom to check in with you every week, this is the podcast for you. Who is "mom"? Mom is Peggy, a real mom of 3 people that range from middle school to official adult. Peggy is also a former middle school teacher who saw how many kids didn't have access to the unconditional love and attention from a guardian in their life. She realized that there were many adults who never had this, either, or who have lost their mom or become estranged from their mother. She decided to start a podcast that was simple, to give anyone who needed it a weekly check-in with mom. She is also a Cancer Rising, so she kind of couldn't help it.
