Low confidence in the delivery of the capital's water repairs.
Wellington City Council have turned down a ten million dollar funding plea from Wellington Water.
They're instead willing to fork out 2.3 million dollars for the service, as council sees it as more achievable.
Long Term Plan Committee Chair Rebecca Matthews says funding is a priority, but they need to see better results first.
She says currently there's a crisis in our water system that we can all see.
