Good evening, Welcome to the EamesizeSoftball Diamond as the Little Cyclones host in
Iowa Alliance Conference North Division double headerwith marshalltown. A Little Cyclones come into

(00:30):
tonight's twin bill with a seventeen andthirteen overall record, nine and one against
division opponents. The Bobcats are sixand nineteen on the season overall, three
and seven in the division names comingoff one nothing lost a couple of nights
ago at Johnston as the Bobcats.Meanwhile, we're able to snap a seven

(00:53):
game losing stream and splitting a doubleheader with Hoover. The Huskies won the
first game thirteen three and five innings, but the Bobcats bounce back in nightcap
to win that one fourteen to seven, a couple of nights ago to split
that twin bill. It is SeniorNight for the Little Cyclones this evening,
ask for players will be honored Ireland, buss Ali France and Ellie Lynch and

(01:15):
Mia Vogel will be recognized between eachbetween the two games tonight, we'll get
your set for game one in amoment. First up, we'll hear from
Little Cyclones head coach Megan von Baron. This is Anames High Softball on New
Stock fourteen thirty. Okay, Yes, I welcome back to the Inns High

(01:38):
Softball pregame show. We're visiting withhead coach Megan non Barren. It's been
a while. I feel like we'restrangers were uniting here. Your team has
been been away for a few weeks. What are some of the big takeaways
being part of the Fourth Dodge invitelast weekend and taking us some of the
teams in this kind of lengthy roadtrip for your squad. Yeah, we
got some really good competition. That'sreally what we got out of it.
And that's what you know, wewant to play play with the best,

(02:01):
and so we went and yeah,I hit the road and went up to
Fort Dodge and saw some really goodcompetition with Ankeny and Musketine and those are
really tough for us. But lastnight being or the other night being on
the road to Johnston, you know, zero zero game to the sixth inning
and pat chances to win it.So we're still growing and developing and learning,

(02:23):
you know, what we can do. But they are all good,
good road games for us. Andyeah, I mean Waterloo was quite the
hall, but never been there before. But yeah, so just just learning
still who we can play with andhow to get it done. When you
kind of measure yourself against those topteams, some of those teams you might

(02:43):
see in the postseason, what arethe things you want your kids takeaway to
say, we need to do thisto make sure we can be competitive or
even beat those kind of teams.Really, those games come down to us
hitting, you know, making surethat we hit with runners on base and
pitchers grew a lot and those gamesso just trying to keep their their hitters,
you know, from getting too manyhits and moving their runners. So

(03:07):
um, yeah, there we playsuch a great defense and we just have
to string together a few hits andget us rolling and then we're going to
be the best we can be.What have you seen some of the keys
to that defense throughout the season. You know, they flush the airs that
they've made and they've really come along way since the beginning of the season
when we did have some ung characteristicallysome characteristic airs. So, uh,

(03:30):
you know, getting lead runners out, making double plays. I mean,
we've just we've been doing such greatthings and it just every time that happens,
it's like we got to string togethersome hits. So and you mentioned
your pictures have grown a lot inthe last few weeks. What have you
seen out of them particularly, Yeah, Sid pitched an amazing game at Johnston
and after a rough, rough weekendand her and Josie split that Ankney game

(03:54):
and that was tough for them. We're just trying different things to see what's
best. You know, when weget to the postseason, it's one game
at a time, so that's reallywhat we just have to figure out what
that best is for that one gameat a time, and that's what we're
doing. But you know, JosieSid are figuring out where they can pitch
the ball and not get hit.So that's where they're going. And they're

(04:16):
sophomores and they do a great joband I have full confidence that they're going
to get even better. So thatthe postseason is starting to come into view
on the horizon. But also there'ssome business to take care of because you've
got a bunch of conference games too, as a few non conference games sprinkled
in there. What do you wantyour team to focus on to make sure,
you know, you're focusing on someof the goals for the regular season,
but also making sure you're you're preparedfor to be at your best come

(04:40):
postseason. Yeah. Absolutely, wedo have to be at our best,
and so that's really what all ofthese games are working towards, and just
getting the ball, get hitting theball with runners on base, we get
into situations and we're learning from thosesituations and you know, just not having
any preconceived notions of who it isthat we're playing either, just going and
playing our game and worrying about playingour tough defense and hitting the ball.

(05:03):
And that's what we're gonna have todo in the postseason. And so that's
what we have to do each oneof these games and take care of business.
I don't I don't know exactly whenthe parents are going to come out.
So we've got a few, maybea couple more games left, and
so we just need to do ourjob and you know, then go play
it a senior night tonight. Ofcourse, you got a class of four
seniors, and what do you seeoveralls their legacy? Yeah, they have

(05:25):
quite the legacy really, I meanMia just fundamentally, she's a great leader
in that way. It didn't expectto get emotional, but you know,
the longer that you're here, thelonger you know that you're with these kids,
and so their legacy is what theydo on the field and how they
leave this team. And they've donea great job and we will miss them,

(05:48):
and I just hope they have funtonight on their senior night. I
let's talk about Marshalltown. I don'tknow how emotional you'll get about that when
you look at the Bobcats going backto the last time you played them,
what kind of what kind of teamare expecting to see tonight? Yeah,
I hope that we just jump outand take care business right away and could
have the same result as we didlast week or last time we played him.

(06:09):
We got three innings out of eachgame and the pictures did a great
job and Ellie even got to pitchon those games. So not sure if
she's ready to do that yet afterbeing back, you know, after being
off a week, but Yeah,I just hope that we just jump out
and do take care business and playlike we know how we can play.
Thank coach, thanks most of yourtime, best of luck with the Bobcats
tonight. Thank you. Eameside headcoach Megan von Barren joining us on the

(06:30):
pregame show. This is Little CyclonesSoftball on Newstock fourteen thirty, KSIA at
the Eameside Baseball Softball Complex. TheGames Softball squad hosting Marshalltown eames Baseball Squad
doing the same and a double headerover there in which eleven seniors are being
recognized for their participation in the baseballprogram. Four seniors will be recognized between

(06:53):
games here at the softball diamond. So we turn our attention into the starting
lineups and visiting Marshalltown. First upcoach by Jason Bowers. Johonna Boney is
the center fielder and the leadoff batterfor Marshalltown. Batting second is Bella Avis,
the designated player. She'll hit for. The right fielder Ava Augustine.

(07:16):
Starting pitcher Briley Danielson, Batch's thirdfor the Bobcats. The clean up batter
is Emma Stop. She's the thirdbaseman. At second base, Reagan Ford
batting fifth, Ketcher Kinsey Bowie isbatting six, batting seventh. Laney Danielson.
The short stop. Kristen Hayes isthat first base. She'll bat eighth,
matting ninth. Running out. Thestarting lineup for Marshalltown Kennedy Feldman,

(07:41):
who starts in left field Joanna Bony, Ella Avis, Briley, Danielson,
Emma Stop, Reagan Ford, KinseyBooie, Landey Danielson, Kristen Hayes,
Kennedy Feldman. The batting lineup forMarshalltown Ames will have Kaylee Mesker. At
the time of the batting order, she is in right field. Ali Franston

(08:03):
will start in left field bats second. Shortstop Ellie Lynch is in the three
slot. The cleat up batter isthe catcher Kira Anderson. Katie Reieslman gets
started third and will bat fifth.Betting sixth is Maya Geffrey. The first
basement. We have Vogel starting ata second base, will bat seventh.
Josie Tailand with the designated player ingame one, betting eight for the pitcher,

(08:24):
Sidney Smalley and Ames center fielder inninth place batter will be Ireland bus
despite the fact she really can't playdue to an injured thumb, and coach
Van Baron ran through the plan withme before the game, and I hope
I get this all right. Theplan is for us to take her position
in center field before the first pitchof game one, and then she'll be

(08:48):
removed prior to the start of thegame and talent will I believe take over
for her in center if I gotthis plan right, and and the plan
is the lead bust in at ninthslot. When her turn at back comes
round, she will be announced andthen removed four pinch hitter at that point.
So it'd kind of a chance torecognize a senior who has rewritten the

(09:11):
record books. She set the singleseason and career home run records last season
frames, but has been limited tojust eleven games total and nine starts this
season due to the thumb injury thathas cost her in the season. But
she'll get a chance to get somespecial recognition tonight. In fact, she's

(09:33):
about to be introduced as part ofthe starting lineup here as we get set
for the start of Game one,the first pitch between Ames and Marshalltown coming
up next A News Talk fourteen thirtyk SI Games has taken the field for
game one of tonight's softball doubleheader withMarshalltown and IOWA Alliance Conference North Division matchup

(10:00):
and Sydney Smalley, the starting pitcherfor the Little Cyclones, warming up getting
her seventeenth start of the season andtwenty first appearance. Overall, Smalley has
a nine and seven record with thethree point nine nine and ninety three innings
pitched this season two fifty nine opponent'sbatting average off the sophomore right hander,

(10:20):
Smally is allowed ninety nine seventy fiveruns fifty three earned runs. She has
shot forty five walks, two hitbatters and sixty strikeouts for Smalley on the
season, and as expected, IrelandBus has vacated the center field position after

(10:43):
being introduced as part of the startinglineup, and technically she remains in the
batting lineup, what is not expectedto bat as the changes. As a
result of that, Ali Franson isgoing to move over from left to center

(11:07):
and Josie Thailand will take over inleft field after being listed as he doesn't
need a player or i should sayflex player in the starting lineup. John
and Boney will the center fielder startingthings off for Marshalltown, Bella Avis the

(11:31):
disn't a player, and Briley Danielsonstarting pitcher for the Bobcats to start off
the first inning facing Smalling. KiraAnderson will be her catcher. Maya Geffrey
is a first base, Mea Vogelat second base, Katie Rieselman is a
third base, Ellie Lynch is theshortstop, Josie Thailand and left field,

(11:52):
Alie Franson and center and Kaylee Meskeris the right fielder. And as we
are set to get under way andit's a Bounty gets set to step in.
She'll bat from the left side.Smalley looking in delivers the first pitch

(12:20):
of the game and it's taken fora strike Bounty with a couple of steps
towards the picture there as she looksto slap the ball around a little bit.
Don't have up to date stats forthe Bobcats tonight, and the pitch
is blown away from Smalley Smally tobounty the picture hitter combo air right handed

(12:50):
versus left hander and foul ball byBounty into the step behind home plate for
strike two one. End to thecount to the Marshalltown lead off batter.
Eighty eight degrees and mostly sunny aswe get into the way, some hazy
sun and a few puffy clouds ofbob Here's a swinging a miss bounty.
You can't make contact and she goesdown swinging for the first out of the

(13:13):
game. Bella Avis steps in withnobody on here in the first inning.
Avios the right handed batter, slightlyopen stance and first pitched swinging flares one
behind the picture. It's handled ona hot bite Vogel the second basement.
She throws to first for the outnow and seemed to float in the air.

(13:37):
It's just for the longest time,Vogel let it bounce, or maybe
not so much let it bounce, but just couldn't quite get to that ball
before bounce. But she still tookher time, made sure to make the
solid smart play there and got theball to first in time. Two away
and Briley Danielson the batter. Shetakes I from small Allie Danielson, the

(14:01):
starting pitcher for Marshalltown. One OO count is in the dirt, two
balls, no strikes to Danielson. She rocks back two oh pitch hit in

(14:22):
the air again right behind the picture, and again Vogel on a hop.
This is the time a closer playat first, but still in time with
the throw. Vogel handles back toback plays nicely and Marshalltown down in order
in the top of the first aftera half inning Bob Kat zero Little Cyclones
coming up. This is sames HieSoftball on News Talk fourteen thirty kayes I

(14:45):
after Marshalltown went down at one,two three on the top half. The
first Ames comes about in the bottomhalf of the first inning with Kaylee Mesker,
Ali Fransen and Ellie Lynch to facethe right hander and eighth grader Briley
Danielson. Messcer steps in with thetop on base percentage for the Little Cyclones

(15:09):
and even five hundred, and theleft handed batter takes a strike on the
outside corner. Messcer also has afour forty four batting average and a five
hundred slugging percentage one strike delivery outsideMescer where the team I forty hits in

(15:30):
ninety at bats, five doubles, nineteen RBIs, ten walks and seven strikeouts
on the year. In the Dirtfor Ball to two and one to Mescer.
Leading off the games first, Danielsonrock back and forth as she looks

(15:54):
in and now delivers. Here's afloat into left coming on is Kennedy Feldman
shall put that way for the Bobcatsand one away in the game's first inning.
Here's Ali Fransen betting in the twoslot, and she's got the best
batting average on the squad. Framesfour fifty one or sixty six on base

(16:18):
percentage four sixty five slugging percentage.Another left handed batter or the little cyclone.
She tries to place one, butit lists it foul behind home plate.
Thirty two hits for Franson in seventyone at bats. Her lone extra
base hit is a double. Shehas eight RBIs to walk, seven strikeouts,

(16:41):
one strike pitch way outside Kinsley Booieis the catcher for Marshalltown. Kristin
Hayes at first, Reagan Ford atsecond, I'm a step at third,
Landey Danimerson the short stop. Here'sa flare towards Danielson. She can't quite
get to it. It drops andspins into foul territory, where it's picked

(17:03):
up by the left field or Feldman. Franson on first with a single.
Yeah, she does, just bookingthe ball out there where nobody could get
to it went out base runner forAmes. Ellie Lynch is the batter running
out the Bobcats defense where Feldman mentionedand left and John a bounty in center

(17:27):
of Augustine isn't right? Ellie Lynchshowing bunt as the pitch is the strength
the runner going and Franson into secondwithout a play. The ball actually got
away from movie a little bit,so Franson into second with the stolen base,
and that's her twenty third of theseason on twenty five attempts, both

(17:52):
the categories, leading the Little Cyclones. Here's a drive down the left field
line, pulled foul, we'll swingfrom Lynch and made solid contact just outside
the left field line, so itowned two counts the game. Shortstop looking
for a chance here to put Amesup early and Hoson rocks back of the

(18:18):
pitch. It's high one ball, two strikes two Lynch, her dad,
Eames assistant, goes Tom Lynch inthe first base coaching box and so I'm
gonna miss on a pitch outside itgets away Lynch breaking four first. She'll

(18:38):
get there and she'll round it andhad to second without a play. Meanwhile,
Franson heads up to get to thirdbase. So despite the strikeout,
the drop third strike leads to arunner on second and a runner a third

(19:02):
as well, France at advancing. Here's Kyra Anderson batting with two on,
takes the ball outside. Danielson deliversball two, and now it's high for

(19:33):
ball three. Esselman on deck threeyear old from Riley Danielson. It's high
for ball four that loads the basis, and here's Katie Russelman stepping up with

(19:56):
one out in the ending parties runnercoming in four aims here momentarily, I'll
be Peyton Richardson taking over at firstfor the catcher Anderson. So Richardson at
first, Lynch at second, andFranson at third, with Reeselman, the

(20:21):
junior stepping in with a three ohseven average, three eighty eight on base
percentage five at seventy three slugging percentage. First bitch from Danielson is low frow

(20:42):
ball. Reeselman with twenty three hitsand seventy five at bats, including a
team high eight doubles. She's gotfour home runs, sixteen RBIs, five
walks, nine strikeouts one oh fromDanielson is in the dirt, two balls,
no strikes, two resalmen, oneout and the bottom of the first

(21:07):
zero zero ball game with the LittleCyclones with the bags full to the Reslemens
behind her all the way to thebackstop and the play at the plate not
in time. Fransen scores to thethird hustling back is Lynch. A ball
bounced hard off the backstop and thecatcher Boo did a good job to turn

(21:30):
and feed her. Pitcher covering theplate quickly, but just a step two
fast with Franson on the wild pitch, Ames takes the first lead of the
game into one nothing, both runnersadvancing with Richards in the second inch to

(21:53):
third three and oz two Reeslman andthat one high for ball. Four bases
loaded again with one down and runin for Rames in the first brings up
Maya Geffrey, the right handed battingeighth grader for the Little Cyclones three fifty
five average, four twenty on basepercentage slugging percentage. Danielson's pitch comes in

(22:26):
high. Geffree with twenty seven hitsand seventy six at bats, two doubles,
a triple and fifteen RBIs. He'sdrawn seven walks and its struck out
three times. One Oh, there'sa strike right down in the heart of
the plate. And as the countgoes to one ball in one strike development

(22:51):
and left in Augustine and right bullshittedtowards the line, so there's plenty of
room in the gaps. Geffrey canfind one pitches high for ball too doo
on one count to Geoffrey. Runnerson every base for the Little Cyclones leading
one nothing and the pitch is low. Three and one to Geoffrey with me

(23:21):
a Vogel on deck, bue withthe signs, Danielson set and delivers.
That's high ball four that'll force ina run. Lynch will come in on
the bases loaded, walk to Geoffrey. Richardson the third reslm into second.

(23:42):
As the wheel turns for the LittleCyclones to nothing, aims lead and there
comes Marshalltown head coach Jason Bower's emotionsfor the rest of the offense to just
stay where they're at. He'll havea one on one discussion with its pitcher,
Briley Danielson. High Softball is broughtto you by Freedom Tire. When
your vehicle needs new tires, Atwo up, oil change or other repairs.

(24:04):
Shop locally, Shop with confidence thatthe job will be done right.
Shop with freedom tire called two threetwo six zero zero three or stop in
at twenty nine five South duff InAmes. The conference comes to an end,
which bowers back to the dugout. We have Vogel stepping in for the

(24:29):
Little Cyclones Senior batting two ninety witha four thirty eight on base percentage three
thirty nine slugging percentage. The innercencepitch up high eighteen hins and sixty two
at bats for Vogel, one doubleand one triple ten RBIs team high,
sixteen walks and five strikeouts. Pitcheshigh once again two an ode of Vogel.

(24:56):
Richardson the courtesy runner for Anderson standingat third, reeslman Is at second,
Jeffrey at first to an ode toVogel. The pitch in their four
strike letter high two and one outsidethree balls a strike to Vogel. Josie

(25:30):
Thailand on deck for the Little Cycloneswent away to nothing, aimes lead and
bass is full in the first Angielson'spitch driven into lap that's in for a
hit. Here comes Richardson from thirdReeselman turning the corner breaking for home.
The throwbeat or buy plenty for theout at the plate. Behind the play,

(25:52):
Jeffrey moves up to third and Vogelthe second. After the single give
Vogue, Vogel and Rbi scoring Richardsonto make it three nothing. A good
throw on the relay by m astop the third baseman to get the Resleman
at home and Thailand stepping in takesball one. Next pitch is out signed

(26:30):
as he took strike one, andthen second pitch is outside for a one
ball, one strike count and there'sa soft liner rip back to the pitcher.
Danielson handles it and that ends theending. But Ames puts up three
in the first after one. It'sa three nothing with a Cyclones leader over

(26:52):
Marshalltown. This is Ames high softballon new stock fourteen thirty k s I
re run first frames gives a littleCyclones to three nothing lead over Marshalltown.
Heading to the second and the Bobcats while they're cleaning up better, I'm
anna stop to start things off. Then Reagan Ford and Kinsley booie to follow

(27:15):
basing Sydney Smalley. You enjoyed aone two three, first ing a strike
out in a couple of groundouts handledby the second baseman. Me at Vogel
stop a right handed batter, openstance as she awaits the pitch, closes
it off as it's delivered, andit runs outside from Smalley I mentioned earlier.

(27:37):
Don't have up to date stats fromMarshalltown, but I stole a recap
from the Marshtown newspaper of their doubleheadersplit last night against Hoover over Anderson's head,
and then went back to the backstopfor ball two. A game played
at Marshalltown last night. Hoover onegame one thirteen, ringing five innings fourteen

(28:00):
seven. Marshalltown win. In thenightcap two oh pitch low Smally falls behind
three not to stop leading off thesecond Marshalltown only six hits in the opener,
lost via mercy rule, who werescored four runs in the first inning

(28:22):
to take a lead and never lookback. Pitch up and away. Smally
watched stop on four pitches to leadoff the second inning and the Bobcats have
their first base runner here's Reagan Ford. In addition to the four run first,
Hoover scored four again in the secondinning, like we're gonna get a

(28:48):
pinch runner for stop. I believethat's McKenna Coleman. No correction, they
got the wrong runner out there fora moment. Ava Kussero will be the

(29:11):
uh the pinch running for stop atfirst, she's there with no outs in
the second, three nothing ames leadFord digging in from the right side,

(29:33):
and the first pitch two were fromSmalley as a strike called. Riley Danielson
was the winning pitcher in the nightcapfrom Marshalltown last night fourteen seven. She's
gonna start here for the Bobcats, but by Ford rules, just off the

(29:55):
first base line, a few feetin front of home plate, and Anderson
out from behind the plate to grabit. The catcher throws down the first
with Vogel covering from second. Gousomoves up to second on the sacrifice one
away and sacrifice bunt executed by Marshalltown. Now one out in the second and

(30:19):
a runner in scoring position for theBobcats. Skelsey bowie the batter and she
swings and missus at the first offeringfrom Smalley Danielson to that win. Last
night against Hoover in game two struckout ten batters and went the full seven
innings. Marshalltown rally from a threenothing deficit early claimed to win. Here's

(30:41):
a swing of miss by Booie. He falls behind oh two roller towards a
third baseman reesl Man. She's gonnatry to get the lead run or throw
the second is in time for theout. Cuso took a couple of steps

(31:04):
towards third as Reeselman handled the throw. Reeseman looked the third and custer Lee
didn't make a move one way orthe other, kind of like getting a
back to the bag there so reasonwith a solid throw, Vogel with the
tag and Custero down at second onthe fielder's choice. Two away in the
inning. So Booie stands on firstand probably won't for long as the catcher.

(31:34):
She'll step aside for a courtesy runner. Abby Jansen, runner at first
for Marshalltown. Down two outs inthe second, three nothing, ames the
lead and Laney Danielson, the batterfrom Marshalltown, the ran stepping into the

(32:00):
box. It's always pitch hind away. Fourteen points or fourteen runs from Marshalltown
mark just the fourth time this seasonBobcats will put up double digit runs in
the game, swinging a miss byDanielson to making one and one. Bowney

(32:27):
Danielson stopped and we each with threehits. In that nightcap. Bouncer just
Smalley, the pitcher out in frontof the circle, grabs it, throws
the first without any problem, anddespite the leadoff walk, Marshalltown does not
score in the second after one anda half aims at leading three nothing.
This is a little cyclone softball onnewstalk fourteen thirty k SI names leading Marshalltown

(32:53):
three nothing and the opener of thisIowa Allions North Division doubleheader scheduled batters for
Ireland Bus Kaylee masker Ally Fransen andas mentioned before the game started, Bus
getting a spot kind of an honoraryspot in the starting lineup as a senior,
but the thumb injury costing her thebulk of her final high school season.

(33:16):
Of course, she'll late Iowa Statenext spring, and she steps into
the batter's box, calls for time, and then will be removed for a
pinch hit. Her high fives allaround. She actually took her spot in
center field moments before the first pitchof the game, and then as the
warm ups got under way, shewas removed into shared a lot of hugs

(33:37):
with teammates on her way back tothe dug out after that one. So
instead of bus the batter will beKate and Nye and she'll become the d
designated player for the Little Cyclones.Batting in the nine slot, nine and

(34:05):
eighth grader has a two fifty sevenbatting average with a non base percent to
three fifty three fourteen slugging percentage. His first pitch from Briley Danielson comes up
an end nine hits in thirty fiveat bats for nine, including a couple
of doubles, four RBIs, threewalks, and she takes a strike eight

(34:30):
strikeouts on the season for nine.Yeah. The eighth grade pitcher Briley Danielson
facing the eighth grade batter Kate andIe one ball one strike count is slowing
away out of reach for Booie thecatcher ball two. I mentioned Buston was

(34:52):
gonna playsftballed Iowa State. The otherthree seniors also have their college plans.
Set is pitch in the dirt makinga three one count to ni Ali Fransen,
it's going to joining the Iowa tracksquad and go to school in Iowa
City. Ellie Lynch, also headingto the University of Iowa and me have

(35:15):
Vogel plans to stay in town andthe Tendaiowa State pitch loads and eye.
She draws a walk we'd off Aderreaches frames in the second and Kaylee Mesker
stepping in first. Yeah, Iguess this will go down as a re

(35:37):
entry, not a pinch runner asIreland Bus will be the runner here for
Ni Bus despite the brace onner andI don't think it's a cast per savance,
some kind of brace out in theleft hand to keep the thumb immobilized.

(35:59):
She will run for the little Cyclonesand Keylee Mescal roll bat Mesker with
a fly out to the left fielderFeldman in the first inning. She squares
around the bunt, pulls it backas the pitch is low, run around
the move and the throw too late, standing up Bus in with a stolen
base. She might be disinclined toslide considering the injury. But it's the

(36:27):
fourth pardon me, fifth stolen baseon five attempts to this season for Bus.
One ball count two Mescer. It'sin the dirt. It skips off
of a booie back to the netand bus will advance to third. On
the wild pitch, another run, ready to score for Aims, already leading

(36:53):
three nothing, nobody out in thesecond. Here's a hotshot towards second off
the glove of full word. Itrolls away and her throw is too late.
Must will score. Mescer reaches onan air. It's a four nothing
Aimes lead and it was hit hard, but it was right at forward and

(37:13):
went off for glove bust with therun to advance. The games lead to
four. Here's Alle France and steppingin, swinging and missing at the first
pitch, throw it down the firstMesker dives back, was actually standing off
the bag. They're almost daring movieto throw and boe that one fly,

(37:34):
but the tag down in time. One strike count two Franzen and the pitches
up and end run around or goingand a delayed steal there for Mescer.
She slides in bobcats defense a littledelayed in responding and nobody there really to

(37:54):
catch the ball. Bounty in centerwith the heads up play to get to
that one before Mesker could get upand try to advance. The third give
Mescer a stolen base or eleventh ofthe season on twelve attempts another runner in

set to go. Nice steps infrom the right side. Thailand on first.

(54:06):
The pitch is outside, off theglove of a Booie and back to
the backstop. Thiland was off anyway, so she's into second easily with the
stolen base, and we'll stand onsecond with a one and old count to
nine, Thailand second stolen base ofthe season. Now it takes a strike

(54:37):
to make it one and one.Stuff on the rubber, leans back and
fires in the dirt. Nice jobby Booie smothering that ball. Thailand remains
its second count. Two nine goesto two balls and a strike pitch upping

(55:05):

three and one count to Nie.Thailand on second, and there's a fastball
in four strike. Stop brings itover the inner half of the plate,

(56:13):
closing in on that one is she'splaying in Hayes at first. Likewise,
Danielson, short Ford and second bothpitched in a bit too. Here's the
old one. It's in the dirtand that skips fast, but we both
runners will advance on the wild pitchThailand the third nine to seconds. I

(56:42):
could add two to the games leadif she delivers here the one one pitch
and upstairs four ball too. It'swarm and it's still eighty eight degrees and
very little when to speak of someoccasional breezes, and that's about it as

(57:06):
the pitch is low. Ball threetoo, Masker, it's just enough and
a haze cloud cover to keep thesun from baking house. Actually we're in
the shade here thanks to that cloudcover. Here's the ball four lowing away

(57:27):
to Masker. Three straight walks toopen up the third inning and loads him
up for ames. And here's AliFransen. She singled in both the first
and second innings. Stuff takes nextor second to gather herself, now ready

(57:50):
to deliver, and it comes upan end. Franson had to duck away
from that one. She'll dig backin with account one to zero. Thailand
the runner at third nine and secondmassacre at first. It's just high again,

(58:14):
that's ball too. Two balls,no strikes to the left handed batter.
She slaps one to the left sideand it's loved by the shortstop,
Daniel Sin. She'll throw the first, but not in time, and for
the second time in the game,Franson meets an infield single. Would normally

(58:35):
be a routine rounder, but withher speed, she got to the bag
before the throw, and that bringshome Thailand from third eight. Nothing aims.
Lead base is still loaded with noouts in the third and e we
lynched the batter. He takes inthe dirt for ball one. Danielson at

(59:00):
shortstop really didn't give much thought totrying to get any of the other runners
out. She focused on Ranson atfirst, but the throw is just not
in time. One o pitch ishigh, two balls, no strikes to
Lynch. Aims now with five hitsto go along with eight runs. One

(59:22):
hits so far from Marshalltown two ohto Lynch and she smacks one to straight
away center going back, Monty can'tget to it. It's all the all
the way to the fence. Ninefrom third will score. Here is a
Messker scoring from second. It'll resultin a single for Lynch as the runners
ahead of her. We're late startingor at the very least. Ranson was

(59:46):
late starting and only moves up abass and typically that would be extra bass
as easily. Elench will settle forthe two RB eyes and the thing old
two runners on and still no outsfor Aims in the third leading ten nothing
Ira Anderson the batter. She'll driveone to left, coming on Feldman.

(01:00:10):
She's under it makes the catch oneaway. Runners will hold with Franson at
second and Lynch at first. Here'sReeselman. She was hit by a pitch
last inning. She also walked inthe first inning. And if pitch a

(01:00:36):
low one in runners going, thethrow the third, not in time,
France and slides in feet first, almost slid past the bag. He's able
to hold on and we'll get astolen base, Lynch stealing second behind her.
Two RBI opportunity for Reeselman. Nowwith a one ball, no strike
count, and this one's driven intoleft center, moving over Feldman. But

(01:01:02):
you won't be able to get tothat one. There comes Franson from third,
Lynch right behind her to score atwo run double for Katie Reeselman,
and I believe that should be themercy rule there. Yet it is twelve
nothing. Aimes will win it withfive runs here in the third to put

(01:01:25):
it away Little Cyclones when the firstof two in quick fashion. As the
Little Cyclones improve the overall record toeighteen and thirteen, ten and one in

(01:03:06):
of the merry go round. Kateand I also scored. Actually Roland bus
Ranford Ny and scored on an errorthere in that inning as well. In
the third and sported away with fiveruns I led by an RBI infield single
for Alie Franson, Ellie lyndstrobe intwo more with her second hit of the
game, and Katie Reeslone with atwo run double to give us a final

(01:03:30):
score of twelve nothing. The LittleCyclones starting pitcher Sydney Smalley the winner,
going a three and allowing no runs, just one hit aloud, one walk
and two strikeouts for Smalley as sherecords the win and improves her record to

(01:03:50):
ten and seven on the season.Riley Danielson takes the loss for Marshalltown with
one inning. It was chased earlyin the second inning. Gave seven runs,
one to strikeout on four hits andfour walks. I'm a step in
relief. One and a third innings, five runs allowed, no strikeouts,

(01:04:12):
three hits and four walks and relief. So in Game one twelve nothing a
little Cyclones win it. I'll gofor the doubleheader sweep and the season sweep
