Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's a baby, Sam.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
And if you go to the Chris car and Company
Facebook page or our Instagram, you'll see why. Sam most
likely may want to kill me, but she's not in
a position to do that right now because she is still,
from what I understand, the very latest with child. I
drove out to her house on Saturday, Steph and I
did brought the CMA Award in the swag bag to Sam,

(00:23):
took some video, took some pictures, had a blast shoes. Uh. Absolutely.
Plus I just it's like she's going to be having
a baby. It's gonna be so much commotion. When do
we do the CMA Award. So there's a window of
opportunity here. So she didn't have the child yet. So
I packed up the award, got all the story together,
zipped out to Maple Lake, dropped it off, chatted it

(00:46):
up for I don't know, an hour or so with
Hawthorne and the dogs and everything. Hawthorne came by a
little bit later. She showed me the nursery and this
is the part where I want she may want to
kill me. I'm taking pictures of all the drawers because
I didn't do that and Stephan I didn't do that
when we had when we had babies, which really wasn't
that long ago. Yeah, but she like labeled the diapers
and the diaper sizes, and she labeled all this stuff.

(01:09):
I'm just wondering if she was bored, if she got
a label maker and she was bored and she just
wanted to make labels of stuff. But you'd be the
judge Chris carry Company Facebook page and is it exceptional
or is it excessive? And most people, I think are
saying this is exceptional. I thought it was a little overkilled.
But again, if I'm sitting around waiting to have a

(01:30):
baby and maybe i have a little time on my
hands and I'm not having contractions, maybe I'd label the
diapers too. But she has the diapers labeled by size
and everything in these drawers. It's like going to J. C.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
Pennick. Is that like considered nesting? Is that nesting? Is
that like? Is that what she's doing?

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Yeah, I mean I think that's what they I mean,
nesting is something I think that comes on. It's like
physical and mental. I can't man explain it, man, I'd
sound awful doing is my wife? I just remember what
my wife run through and all of a sudden, there
was this major cleaning phase and just getting everything again,
and you just you knew something was coming, like the
baby was going to be coming, because all of a sudden,

(02:06):
she had her act completely together and everything was ready.
But jamo are firstborn was coming way early, so I
don't know if we really landing. We had we had
her down pretty good saddle, but uh, yeah, Jamo was.
I mean, he was coming like a month early, but
we were able to hold that off a little bit. Yeah.
I didn't even get the video camera yet, all these things.
So after he came, was starting to come early, and

(02:28):
we held it off a little bit. I ran to
every store I could find it, but I didn't order
anything in online because I didn't know when he was coming.
It could be like an hour's So I got the
video camera I got you know, wasn't used. Yeah, a
real video camera, digital, got HD all this stuff, and
we didn't have a crib yet. I got the crib,
I got the glider rocker, all that stuff. She's all

(02:49):
set and you can take a look at her nursery au.
I don't think I posted the full nursery shots yet.
That's for another time. It's fun. But you could see
how organized she is on the Chris Car Company Facebook
patron up a little to comment there if you want,
But she's just she's super sweet. She and Hawthorne are
ready to go. They are prepared for this child.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Any minute now, baby, you can come because it's a
week overdue tomorrow. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
So yeah, if you want to throw some well wishes out,
talk back on the iHeartRadio AP make sure they'll get
to Sam. If not, just play them over the air
and you can drop something on our socials too. I
posted it on Instagram as well, and I'm just waiting
for her wake up and see it and say what
are you doing?

Speaker 1 (03:25):
Yeah, when did you take those pictures? I was there
on Saturday stealth mode. This was in stealth mode.
