Speaker 1 (00:00):
A moment we've all been waiting for. It's just after
seven twenty Sam, sand severe, what's going on?

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Well, I'm still pregnant.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
No, you are not.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Stuff. I had a baby.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
Oh my gosh. If you were going to say you
were still pregnant, Sam, I was going to feel awful
for you. And I've never even had a baby.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
We're gonna get a plunger. Anyway.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
I had a little baby boy on Tuesday night last week.
That was November twenty fifth, and he was born around
seven nineteen pm. His name is Bowen and his middle
name is James, so he's Bowen James.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
Yay, Christopher.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
I love it. That's so sweet. Congratulations Sam, thank you.
Oh you's so hello. Yeah, and we're so super happy,
so excited. So far. He is the perfect first baby
because we don't know what the heck we're doing, but
if we're if we do everything right, he totally plays

(01:04):
ball and he's perfect. He's very very sel behaved, and
he eats a lot and he sleeps a lot, and
he's just been an awesome little baby. Right now, he's
just staring at me, just holding him.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
Okay, now, for everybody wondering why so late, with the
announce and everything else. There's a lot that happened with
the delivery, and we'll have all of that will be
the will basically be on Instagram and the Chris Carrien
Company Facebook page. That's where you'll find, you know, all
the backstory if you will. And your baby Bowen is
what like eight pounds?

Speaker 2 (01:34):
Yeah, he was eight pounds six ounces twenty one inches, right.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
What happens when she goes a week overdue?

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Yeah? Yeah, he was born exactly at forty one week. Wow. Yes.
So we were in the hospital for a long time
and it was not intentional for me to delay an
announcement at all. I just had an extended hospital stay.
So we had the baby that Tuesday night, but we
went in on Monday night while I was in labor,

(02:03):
and we didn't get out of the hospital until Saturday afternoon.
So it was a full five days. And the first
several days I was really out of it because we
just had a lot going on. There is some complications
that I'll get into on the Chris carr and Compete
Facebook page. You can check it out there. And it
was just kind of a long week. But thankfully we

(02:24):
are back home now. I'm healthy, the baby's healthy, even
though she's kind of bussing right now. It was it
was a little crazy, but here we are and we
made it. And I'll share more of the actual story
itself on Facebook and Instagram, so you can check it
out there.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
She really couldn't talk to anybody. I mean, there's a
lot to it. For the Facebook page for more of
that story. But moral of the story is she is
home now with the baby with Hawthorne and you have
a bouncing baby boy over eight pounds, Baby Bowen, beautiful name,
beautiful child. Saw the pics. We had a FaceTime on
Tuesday night or I'm sorry, Wednesday night with baby Bowen,

(03:00):
and he is just adorable and Sam congratulating.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
We just see pictures.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
Sam.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
If there's one thing I've learned, these listeners adore you
and they are going to be so excited to hear
this update. So congratulations. I'm so so happy for you.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
Thank you so much, you guys. I'm a mom and
it's amazing and I've been through a lot, my whole
I mean, my family's been through a lot, and everyone
here at Kawana two has been there for it, and
so I've been so so so thankful that everyone has
been so supportive and carrying throughout it all. And so
the fact that anybody cares at all about me and

(03:35):
Hawthorne and little baby Bowen, it just means the world.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
What a difference a year makes.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
I know, I know, it makes a huge, huge difference.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
What a blessing, God bless all of you. It's beautiful,
Thank you, Thanks for Hey, thanks for chiming in. And
you're coming back to work tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
Then, Sam, this is a really hard job.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
These mornings are brutal, all right, Facebook, and let everybody
know if you would please, because they're all asking. I
love the people that said we have a right to know,
like we show out everybody. Everybody relaxed her term.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
I love everyone. Yeah, thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
You're welcome. So beautiful. Yeah, and that kid is so
so sweet, baby bowing over a weight twenty one inches.
And the rest of the show posted on Facebook on
here in the next few moments is what we just
talked about. So and probably the capable through socials as well,

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
