Speaker 1 (00:00):
Dan and Shane Bigger House is one to two point
one Capital two. It's Chris Callern Company. That was subtle,
smooth jobs. That much that's going on.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
Just because he's over there, just mean you can blame
him for all your problems. That screw up.
Speaker 1 (00:16):
Gods, isn't a new producer capacity right, Just screw it?
Everything go ahead.
Speaker 3 (00:20):
Sam Many News brought to you by Northern One Hour
Heating and Air. Last night around seven pm there was
a shelter in place order those put into effect in
your County View Drive in Burnsville. Kind of a little
bit of a scary situation just because you don't exactly
know what's going on. It lasted a little over an hour,
but the situation was resolved peacefully. One suspect was taken
into custody arrested all as well. Also, just a reminder,
(00:42):
if you have a fish house on one of the
lakes around here in this kind of like lower half
of Minnesota, you've got until March third to get it
off the lakes. And they're really encouraging people to make plans's.
Speaker 1 (00:52):
Earlier than normal, wasn't it. I thought it was a fifteenth.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
I know nothing about many things.
Speaker 1 (00:57):
You just love the function.
Speaker 2 (00:59):
I'm just telling you what the DNR is trying to
tell everybody.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
You get till next Monday to get the fish outse
off correct. What are they gonna get that car at
a white Bear Lake?
Speaker 2 (01:05):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:06):
He's still stuck in the butt end of it is
still topped up.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
That thing's done though.
Speaker 1 (01:12):
Are they gonna give that away when it's done?
Speaker 2 (01:14):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
A that's gonna smell hole?
Speaker 2 (01:17):
Is it just me?
Speaker 3 (01:18):
Or have there just been a lot of cars going
into Minnesota lakes this year?
Speaker 2 (01:21):
What's going on?
Speaker 1 (01:22):
There's rifts and stuff too. I mean there's springs and
all that kind of crazy. Yeah, watch it, man, Hey,
keep it on cabble too. Sam did something over the weekend.
She didn't die. She's gonna tell you about it in credit.
Obviously she's here talking about it and she didn't get
too hurt. Plus, they're rip in our hometown. What the
heck coming up? Keep it on Cabdle two and then
Dubbs has your Country Music Minute, and that is next
(01:43):
from the.
Speaker 4 (01:44):
Two Country Minutes sponsored by Comfort Matters Heating an air,
it's Dubs. Parker McCollums said that he should be able
to catch up pretty soon. The George Straits record of
sixty number one hits. Yeah, okay, Parker, only fifty six
left to go. And he didn't know Jelly Rolling air Chair,
which are really good friends, and the first time they
hung out, apparently Jelly Roll went skinny dippy.
Speaker 1 (02:05):
All right, I'm drinking and normally very people when I
have to go down with them. This is not how that.
Speaker 5 (02:14):
I'll live.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
There a little word that I live in the Columbia River.
I note the self.
Speaker 4 (02:25):
Do not drink with Eric Church. I'm dove with their
cable of two country minute more. Chris Garrn Company coming up.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
You know what we're gonna do today. We're gonna play
the over under game. The over under game is back.
We're gonna play for some concert tickets Treasure Island, Terry
Clark's tell them we're gonna hook you up here in
just a little bit, a couple of songs and then
keep it on Capinal too. It's Chris Carrn Company. I
love what you did over the weekend. You couldn't pay
me enough to do it. But what did you do?
You went to Canterbury Park over the weekend, Sam and
got behind a horse, which is not uncommon for you
(02:52):
because you're a horse girl here in Minnesota. Yeah, and
you scheduled, yes, George.
Speaker 3 (02:58):
Yeah, I was out at Canterbury Park for skjuring Saturday
and Sunday.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
It was so much fun.
Speaker 3 (03:03):
Scheduring for anybody who doesn't know, is when you have
a horse that pulls a skier or snowboarder behind them
and they do a course of obstacles and jumps and
things like that. There's open divisions youth freestyle, which is
super cool because people go and do flips off the jumps.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
It is a ton of fun.
Speaker 1 (03:18):
Now, are people in Canterbury betting on you, like like
they bet on horses. Are they up there?
Speaker 2 (03:23):
I think so?
Speaker 1 (03:23):
I dropping bucks on who lives between like you and
Pa from the fan, one after each other, and we
did actually right, you were in kayaks behind a horse.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
Yeah, So we did a kayak race.
Speaker 3 (03:34):
Me and Paul Allen went head to head on Saturday
and on Sunday, and we had other people pulling us.
And I was a little concerned at first because I
was worried about the kayaks turning over. I wasn't worried
about them turning over. Actually, because I'm like, it can
go to straight line. We're not turning, It'll be fine.
But I was worried about the stopping part. I wasn't
sure how hard that would be. I was just imagining
it being like this bullet that I had no control
(03:55):
over a horse.
Speaker 1 (03:56):
Fine, the horses don't typically do eighty.
Speaker 2 (03:59):
They go pretty fast and once you get the momentum going.
Speaker 1 (04:02):
But it ended up being horse's legs.
Speaker 2 (04:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
Yeah, it would probably leave one of those little parade
treats for you as he went under.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
Yeah. Well, it ended up working out great. It was
a lot of fun. Pa beat me on Saturday. On Sunday, What.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
Do you mean, how how would he beat you?
Speaker 3 (04:19):
He had this team of mules pulling him that were
hauling it. They were going so fast, and I just
had like some bigger horses that went a little bit slower.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
He was flying. He was going so fast, so he
rigged it.
Speaker 1 (04:32):
No, it wasn't somebodies or someone. He had him a
team of mules on one and a couple of horses
on another. That's not fair.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
Mules. I saw his mules and it was like, oh,
we got it.
Speaker 3 (04:40):
And because mules I don't think of as being super
super fast like we Yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:43):
Then around mules, they're not always that.
Speaker 1 (04:45):
Mules know that it was their time to shine. There
are a front of people and other mules, and they're like,
we're gonna get our game on it. We lose this
reputation of being slow and stupid.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
They definitely no. The problem is they're usually too smart.
Speaker 3 (04:56):
I love mules, and usually they're too smart to actually
like be like, yeah, I'll do this.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
But they did it. They looked amazing.
Speaker 3 (05:02):
And then on Sunday I was pulled by a single horse.
Well he's still he had his mules again, and my
horse went faster than his mules.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
So two horses. You had two horses the one day, Yeah,
and then one one horse and you lost with two
and you won with one. Yeah, he had the same mules. Yes,
Or did you just drop a couple of pounds on
the side by the said.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
Yeah, I just didn't eat anything, so I gave him
a lighter haul.
Speaker 3 (05:23):
But it was so much fun schedoring out there at
Candy Park.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
The entire crew there's amazing. It's put together.
Speaker 3 (05:29):
Red Ted's leather and his team there and Camp Randy,
everybody at Canter Park Canterbury Park. They do such a
good job. We got the rodeo out there later this
year too.
Speaker 2 (05:36):
It's gonna be a lot of fun.
Speaker 1 (05:37):
Doves. Did you say they're ripping our hometown? They are,
all right. I can't wait to talk about those coming
up in a couple of songs. Our hometown, by the way,
is Maple Grove, and we're gonna have to run this
by maybe a couple other hometowns here in Minnesota, because
we're gonna make this Fair's fair, right, We're getting ripped
in Maple Grove coming up, and we're gonna play the
over under games. Well, we're getting ripped one or two
point one cable to shoot. It's Chris Carrn Company, we
being dubs and I dubs and I are from Maple Grove.
(05:59):
Somebody decided to get on and kind of take a
real take on what Maple Grove is on chat GPT
as chat GPT hey overall consensus on Maple Grove where
you and I live, and well it came out what
they say.
Speaker 4 (06:11):
It says it's the crown jewel of I wanted to
live in the city, but I also need a three
car garage for my boat.
Speaker 1 (06:17):
I never used.
Speaker 4 (06:19):
And then it goes on to say how the city
is basically, let's just copy and paste Eating Prairie, but
with even more targets.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
And I'm like, wait a minute, we only have one target.
I know we do. Well, there's one over Yeah that's
not a Brooklyn park. I think, here, we don't have
that one. Yeah no, yeah, I always thought we were
more like Woodbury as opposed to Eating Prairie. But go ahead, right,
And then.
Speaker 4 (06:37):
It says because nothing says community like six nearly identical
strip malls, each featuring an ail slon bake shop, and
yeah yeah.
Speaker 1 (06:49):
And then yeah, so we move on. Now. If we
were to put in chat GPT a real take on, say.
Speaker 4 (06:58):
Oh, let's don here we go, it says Dyna, where
the streets are paved with gold, or at least with
the tears of those who can't afford the property tax.
Speaker 1 (07:10):
Let's check GPT's real take Onnadna.
Speaker 4 (07:13):
You're like the rich ant of the Twin Cities, all
always looking down your nose at everyone else, making sure
they know you're better than them. Your residents are so
refined they probably think a dive bar is a place
that serves wine in a plastic cup.
Speaker 1 (07:27):
On.
Speaker 4 (07:27):
Then it says, don't even get me started on the
infamous Edna accent.
Speaker 1 (07:31):
I don't even know that was the thing.
Speaker 4 (07:33):
They've got a little bit of a twist, they said,
it's like a Midwestern twang, but with a hint of pretentiousness. Yeah,
like you're trying to sound smart, but you're really just saying,
oh yeah. And then it says, uh, at least your
schools are good, right, I mean, who needs diversity or
a relwanded, well rounded education when you can have a
four point zero GPA and a trust fund?
Speaker 1 (07:55):
That's more important the trust fund. Okay, now we go
to Maple Lake where Sam's frum. This is chat GPT's
real take on Maple Lake.
Speaker 3 (08:03):
The biggest event of the year is literally a parade
of people pretending to be Irish for a day. You
really lean into that Saint Patrick's Day thing, like your
town's entire identity depends on it, which, let's be let's
be real, it.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
Kind of does.
Speaker 1 (08:14):
Well, that should be Paul too.
Speaker 2 (08:16):
Yeah, right, yes, let's talk about the population.
Speaker 3 (08:19):
What is it now, like twenty two hundred, So basically
everyone knows that everyone's business. If you sneeze it cases
five people will say bless you before you even grab
your pizza slice, which I think.
Speaker 2 (08:27):
Is pretty nice.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
Dude, AI is scary, I know, because this is so
dead odd. I know, Like I mean, at first I
was getting fired up. It's like I can't argue.
Speaker 2 (08:36):
With they said.
Speaker 3 (08:37):
They said, let's not forget the real reason people love
Maple Lake. It's close enough to leave and actually do
something fun in Buffalo Cloud.
Speaker 1 (08:44):
Oh, Buffalo Cloud, not Minneapolis.
Speaker 3 (08:46):
Speaking of Buffalo, the chat GPT said, it's the town
that thinks it's a big deal because it has a target. Congratulations,
you made it. Meanwhile, the rest of Wright County is
still pretending that Buffalo is the city, when in reality,
it's just Maple Lake with wal martin.
Speaker 1 (09:01):
Buffalo is way bigger than Maple Lake though, really twenty
two hundred.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
People, yeah's pretty small small town.
Speaker 1 (09:06):
It's Buffalo's population sure, fifteen thousand.
Speaker 3 (09:10):
It is bigger. Yeah, I mean, Buffalo is. It is
basically a city compared to Maple Lake.
Speaker 1 (09:14):
Guys, you get ready to call us the over over
undergame eight six six win Cable two. We're gonna play
for Terry Clark tickets eight six six win Cabble two.
What is the population in Buffalo?
Speaker 2 (09:23):
It is sixteen thousand, five hundred forty.
Speaker 1 (09:25):
I got the under and I'm in so I wonder
what that was twenty years ago? How about your Buffalo
wasn't even five thousand? Yeah, maybe it was five thousand
people twenty years ago. I don't know. Yeah, dude, I
could sit and go down rabbit holes all morning long.
Speaker 4 (09:39):
Judging from the Maple Grove Chat GBT the buffalo of
Maple Lake, I think chat GBT just like just likes targets.
Speaker 1 (09:48):
Yeah, targets warts.
Speaker 2 (09:50):
Yeah, Yeah that's true. Yeah, it really really loves.
Speaker 1 (09:52):
I still well ticked off that we talked about having
multiple targets in Maple Grove and I'm like, that'd be
a blessing. Where where is it? I love Target Now
that you've got a brand new little baby, that's what
eight months old? Congratulations. You gotta love those targets. Eight
six six win Cable two call us up. We're gonna
play the over under game. We haven't had a loser
yet for Terry Clark Tickets Bottoms Up. It's Chris carrn Company.
(10:17):
We added this a few weeks ago. We have yet
to have a loser. In this game over under?
Speaker 2 (10:26):
What the over under game?
Speaker 1 (10:29):
Tell me? That gets annoying? Like, now, Aaron from Brookland Park,
do you know how this game goes? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (10:34):
Pretty easy, right.
Speaker 1 (10:35):
I'm just going it's very easy. I'm gonna tell everybody
else though, that basically you're just gonna answer questions and
the number that we give you is it over that
number or under that number? And you're playing for Terry
Clark tickets. You just need to get three out of five? Right?
Are you ready to play? Pizza originated over or under
five hundred years ago?
Speaker 5 (10:56):
Over?
Speaker 1 (10:57):
Yeah, yeah, it's like thousands of years ago, flat bread
and the Aetolians. Absolutely.
Speaker 3 (11:02):
The first McDonald's restaurant opened over or under eighty years ago.
Speaker 1 (11:10):
Under, No, it was over dude. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (11:13):
The first McDonald's opened in nineteen forty. That's eighty five
years ago.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
All right, you're one for one. You need to get
two more right. Chocolate has been consumed for over or
under three thousand years over that's right, four thousand years
ago some woman found chocolate. Boy, We've our society has
thanked her ever since. All right, dude, you get one
more right? You got two questions left, one more right
(11:37):
and you're going to Terry Clark at Treasure Island.
Speaker 3 (11:39):
The sandwich was invented over or under two hundred and
fifty years ago.
Speaker 2 (11:45):
Over that's correct.
Speaker 3 (11:47):
Yeah, they say that there's there was an earl of
the sandwich or earl of sandwich in seventeen sixty two.
Speaker 2 (11:53):
That's over two hundred and sixty years ago. Okay, nice
jaba man.
Speaker 1 (11:56):
Yeah. Hey, Terry Clark is going to be as your
island on this Saturday, and you're going for free. Dude.
Thanks Eric, Look, thank you.

Good point. Thanks for keeping us in line up. We
love hie you guys, hold tight generational. Jeffardy is coming
up here a little bit and I'll get back to
regular format. But it is gonna beautiful today. This weather's awesome.
I love this well, yeah, this is so dude. Compared

It just doesn't get any better than this. We're gonna
have a high of forty nine today. There are people
like down South down in Florida and George and everything
going listening outline, going what the hell is wrong with
these people? Like they're gonna stay inside all day. Go

one O two point one Captle two. So what are
we asking people to do? As we rolled commercial free?
We want them to reset their preset. What does that mean?

preset one O two point one on your car stereo,
you can now do it on the free iHeartRadio app.
So get on the iHeartRadio app, play K one O
two and then add us to your presets at the
top of the page. Prove that you've reset your preset
to k Onoo two, Take a screenshot, send it to
us on Facebook or Instagram, and then one lucky winner
who did that, who resets their preset with k Onoo
(16:17):
two will win a signed Thomas Rhet guitar from us
here at K one O two.
Speaker 1 (16:22):
So that sounds like a lot, but it's basically just
go into the iHeartRadio app, have Camical two on, YEP,
download the app if you haven't yet, have Camble two on,
and then just reset your preset nature Cabinal two is
in there. Take that screenshot, put it on your social
make sure that we see it. Get your attention. Thomas
Rutt is signing a guitar for you for pizzec Okay,
(16:42):

It's Chris Carr and Company seven thirty eight en route
to what forty nine today forty one outside right now,
it's glorious. Let's get another couple on the radio.
Speaker 3 (20:00):
It is the couple today, Sam Erica and Garrett from
Saint Michael. They've known each other for about twelve years,
but they've been married for around one and a half years,
and they've got a little baby boy, and a couple
of French bulldogs.
Speaker 1 (20:10):
All right, and then we'll get right back to the
commercial free and we have a two song show down
for an awesome show coming up a Treasure Island resort
and casino here in just a second, Eric, if you'd
be so kind, obviously you go first. What is something
you do that annoys Garrett? Oh?
Speaker 5 (20:25):
I nag him quite a bit? Really, yeah, So probably
that we have And as I shared, we have a
small son or a young son, and there's some things
that I mag him about with him specifically, so.
Speaker 1 (20:39):
Tell me that we'll see what he says about that.
Speaker 3 (20:41):
If your baby was going to write a Yelp review
for you and Garrett as parents, what do you think
they'd say?
Speaker 5 (20:48):
I think he'd give us five stars, don't. I don't
know exactly how y'all preview his work, but I'd say
I'd say, we're killing it in the parent category.
Speaker 2 (20:57):
Very good, that's awesome.
Speaker 1 (20:59):
I don't know if I could say the same, like,
I don't know if my kilds should say the same thing.
But anyway, So, Erica, if Garrett had to get a
tattoo right now, if he had to, what do you
think he'd.
Speaker 5 (21:11):
Get something to do with a tiger.
Speaker 1 (21:15):
It was such a quick response because he's married, he's
got his little coogar.
Speaker 3 (21:20):
You're not huh, Erica, what is something that Garrett thinks
is a huge deal but you really could not care.
Speaker 2 (21:29):
Less about it? Like it's just not a big deal
to you.
Speaker 5 (21:31):
Oh, let's see, I'm a very punctual person and he
is not. So I think for him, like it's a
big deal to me if we're late to places or
like if we're running late, and for him it's not so.
I guess it would be the river so that then.
Speaker 1 (21:51):
You and my wife would get along great, Like fifteen
minutes early to everything. It just kills me. Yeah, all right,
last question here we go, Erica. What do you think
is Garrett's favorite thing about you?
Speaker 5 (22:05):
Probably that I understand his humor. Well, he's got kind
of a dry sense of humor, and not everybody gets it,
but I'd say that's probably one of his top favorites.
Speaker 1 (22:13):
All Right, you're ready to find out to see how
many he gets right in this or wrong or any different.
Speaker 5 (22:19):
I'm ready, all right, I.
Speaker 1 (22:20):
Feel, by the way, be ready to pounce out him
if he gets anything wrong too. That's part of the deal. Yeah,
we will wrap up. That's what she said. We're gonna
get you into Terry Clark at Truasure Island two next
less than three minutes. I K Whatttle two. It's Rodney Atkins.
Ronnie Akkin's watching you. We au two point one k
Onttle two. We're just struck along here commercial free for
like an hour and a half playing this new game
(22:41):
called That's what she said. Put a couple on the air,
and today it would.
Speaker 3 (22:46):
Be Erica and Garrett from Saint Michael. They've known each
other for about twelve years, they've been married for around
one and a half years, and they've got a little
baby boy and two French bulldogs.
Speaker 1 (22:55):
Will today be the day? It's only five questions, nobody's
gotten all five, right, and these are people that know
each other really, really really well. All right, Uh so
if you would be so kind, Garrett, I'll go ahead,
say how to your bread?
Speaker 6 (23:06):
I Erica?
Speaker 1 (23:08):
Hey wait, what'd you call him? Erica? T? G oh gee,
I was like, you're looking for the tea. The t's
at the end of you said. Okay, So Garrett, here
we go. Uh five quick questions. Let's see how you
do and see if that's truly what she said. What
is something that Erica does that kind of annoys you? Oh?
Speaker 6 (23:32):
Well, lately she's been turning things into a competition, like
keeping track of who does what, who does more?
Speaker 2 (23:38):
Okay, could you classify that as nagging?
Speaker 1 (23:40):
No, No, she's very It was.
Speaker 6 (23:44):
Like if it was a venn diagram. It feels like
they overlaugh of it.
Speaker 1 (23:50):
Never I've never given into what a half a point before.
I don't know if that's that? Is that what he
means nagging? And do you think he's right? Erica?
Speaker 5 (23:57):
I would say that I have been doing that more often,
more recently, but I think overall it's probably my answer
stands as nanking.
Speaker 2 (24:04):
Yeah, so that's not quite what she said.
Speaker 3 (24:07):
Yeah, okay, Garrett, if your baby was going to write
a Yelp review for you and Erica as parents, what
do you think he'd say?
Speaker 6 (24:16):
Oh, probably something like service was good but not held enough.
Speaker 1 (24:24):
Dude, that's not what she said. Is the opposite. She
gave you like a five star ranking. You guys are
just great parents.
Speaker 2 (24:33):
You think your baby's a little bit more skeptical.
Speaker 6 (24:35):
Though he's pretty happy, but like what baby doesn't want
to get held more?
Speaker 1 (24:40):
All the time. Yeah, dude, I still want to get
held all the time. Okay, Garrett, if you had to
get a tattoo right now, what would you get tattoo of?
Speaker 5 (24:49):
What?
Speaker 6 (24:50):
Oh, that's an easy one. I'm for sure get a tiger.
Speaker 1 (24:53):
That's what she said.
Speaker 2 (24:56):
It's just something you've been, you know, thinking about, because
she said tiger right away. Why a tiger?
Speaker 5 (25:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (25:02):
It was back in college, you know, exploring stuff and
came across like spirit animals and ever since then we've
collected little tiger knickknacks. So they're around the house.
Speaker 1 (25:13):
I thought this guy party at LSU.
Speaker 3 (25:18):
Okay, Garrett, what's something that you think is a huge
deal but Erica doesn't really care too.
Speaker 1 (25:23):
Much about it.
Speaker 6 (25:24):
Hmmm, probably something like, I don't know, like something around
the house. Maybe some kind of like making food or
I'm kind of stumped on that one.
Speaker 1 (25:36):
She said.
Speaker 3 (25:36):
Yeah, she said that she's very punctual and you're kind
of not, and so there's just a little bit of
like a mismatch there.
Speaker 6 (25:44):
Oh yeah, definitely, that's she keeps me on time.
Speaker 1 (25:47):
This is good for a marriage to do an exercise
like this, isn't it? All? Right? One more question, Garrett,
what is your favorite thing about Erica.
Speaker 6 (25:58):
It's cheesy, but I gotta say her personality, it's just
warm and like fun and it's kind of what drew
me to her originally in it. I still say that
to this day.
Speaker 3 (26:09):
That is such a sweet answer. It's not what she said,
but it's so sweet. She said that she understands your
humor even better than I think a.
Speaker 2 (26:16):
Lot of people do.
Speaker 6 (26:17):
Yeah, that is that is a huge part.
Speaker 2 (26:19):
Of what part of the personality, the Pagage personality.
Speaker 1 (26:22):
I'm gonna give you that one, you know what I mean,
give me that first one.
Speaker 6 (26:27):
But you know got like two half points.
Speaker 1 (26:29):
Yeah, give you two half points to give you a point,
So give you a couple here, you guys. It's very
sweet of you. We thank you for listening. We appreciate
you obviously keeping the nine capital two and say hi
to that little squirt for us. This is wonderful. Congratulations
to both of you.
Speaker 5 (26:43):
Well, thank okay, not with my country.
Speaker 1 (26:45):
Thanks appreciate that. You know what's funny is at the
very beginning when I asked them the question, I asked
her the question, what do you do that annoys Garrett
the most? She said, nag, And I was gonna give
her a point later like, is that okay what he answered,
and she's like, no, when I mean a nag, I
mean nag. I'm gonna keep my naggy. So thanks for
listening another round. Uh, if you want to play.
Speaker 3 (27:06):
Send us a message on the Chris Carr and Company
Facebook page or Instagram.
Speaker 2 (27:09):
Just tell us a little bit about you and we'll
get you.
Speaker 4 (27:11):
On the show.
Speaker 1 (27:12):
So we have two songs that we're gonna play. This
is so super easy. This is the easiest game on
the planet. Two songs. Just remember the next two songs.
You're going to Terry Clark at Treasure ralland Resort and Casino,
and that's this Saturday night, all right, Terry Clark. She's
got all those great nineties early two thousands bangers, better
things to do, all that kind of stuff. Let's do it.
So number one is play it again. All you need
(27:32):
and are the song titles. Just rattle them back in
any order. It's so super easy, and we just keep
the music flowing and you keep the winning going. It's awesome.
Age sixty six Win Camicell two So number one, Dylan Marlowe,
Dylan stat Boys back Home, Little two point one Capital two.
It's Chris Carr and Company. The last two songs that
we played are and the two songs showdown for Terry Clark.
(27:54):
Tickets Scott from Lakefield, if you'd be so kind. What
are those two songs?
Speaker 3 (27:58):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (27:58):
I got played again?
Speaker 6 (28:00):
And Boys Back Home?
Speaker 1 (28:02):
And you're gonna take the short jaunt from Lakefield down
to Treasure Island this weekend to see Terry Clark. Scott.
Speaker 6 (28:09):
Oh, nice, nice, awesome.
Speaker 1 (28:11):
Scott's gonna ask you what are you going on? What
are you gonna do on the weather today? Tell me
you're playing hooky? You're not going to work? What are
you doing? Oh?
Speaker 6 (28:17):
Man, I'm at work and I actually have to drive
the little falls for work here pretty pretty quick.
Speaker 1 (28:22):
So well that's all right. Yeah with the windows down, brother,
it's gonna be beautiful. Thank you.
Speaker 2 (28:28):
Breeze ruffle your hair.
Speaker 1 (28:30):
Yeah, you may be. I mean, for all the bald
people listening, they're going, I can't have my hair ruffle that.
I feel like I just want to die.
Speaker 2 (28:37):
He probably has eyebrow hair. Can ruffle his eyebrow hair.
Speaker 1 (28:39):
There you go. Well, Scott, this went out of control quick,
but you have a great day, buddy. Thank you all.
Speaker 5 (28:44):
Right, you guys too, Thank you very much.
Speaker 1 (28:46):
K two is my country eyebrows flying off and landing
on somebody's windshield behind him like that Super Bowl? Was it,
Eugene Hey, keep it eye. Cabletle two, it's Joss Turner.
Wow for one of us, man, it was a weekend.
I mean you're talking about going through some things in
(29:07):
a range of emotions. It was quite the weekend. That's
coming up next, keeping on one to two point one
Captle two. Another little reminder you guys, we are in
the state of hiking. I know you're like, duh. I mean,
may not feel like it today with a higher on fifty,
but we get you wild tickets coming up in four
to score. Coming up at eight thirty, keeping on one
to two point one Captle two, but this wild range
of emotions next after post malone, Captle two, post malone,
(29:33):
Luke Kohn's guy for that number one for New country
and the best variety of one to two point one
Cabtle two, it's Chris Carrn Company. So we've got a
guy here in the studio with us now who's better
part of the radio station. For the last I don't know,
six seven years or so, but he's he's like the
Swiss Army knife of not only Cabtle two, but of
iHeartMedia here and a little more focus on the morning
show and can help us do some things in the
(29:54):
digital world, especially and on the air that we've never
been able to do before. And that would be our
guy Dubbs. Who know posted a picture on the Chris
Carr Company Facebook Everybody remembers Dubs and those dubs, But
it's been a little bit since Dubbs has been on
this station. He's been spending time on another station that
we have here for the last couple of years. But
it's great to have you, dude. I love having you here.
(30:15):
By the way, the picture that we posted on the
Chris Carr Company Facebook page, we added him to the
team here. It looks like you want to kill somebody.
You look like a bodyguard back there.
Speaker 3 (30:24):
It's so funny because you are just one of the
just nicest, kind of sweetest people.
Speaker 2 (30:29):
You look like you're ready to whoop somebody in that
picture though.
Speaker 4 (30:32):
I mean, I may be nice on the outside, but
on the inside I'm ready to take Yeah.
Speaker 1 (30:37):
But dude, you, I mean, you had a weekend. You
had a huge weekend no number. When it started out
with Dubb's Most Excellent Adventure where you handed out eggs
and made winners out of people giving them concert tickets
last week and Dairy Queen gift cards and stuff, and
then the weekend kind of evolved and this is like
your first you know, real week kind of being back
(30:57):
in full, full, steady stream here on Kawatle too. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (31:01):
And then also last week, first day of daycare for
my daughter. She's nine months as of Saturday. He stayed
home and took care of her after the last six months.
Speaker 1 (31:12):
That is a major deal. That is tough. Did you cry?
Did you well? My wife dropped her off and she cried.
Speaker 4 (31:19):
But when I was here, I was literally texting my
wife like, I don't know if I can keep it together.
Speaker 1 (31:23):
I don't know if I can keep it together.
Speaker 4 (31:24):
Because she sent the photo over She's got her little
backpack gun and she's standing up on our autumn.
Speaker 1 (31:31):
Nine months old with a backpack.
Speaker 2 (31:32):
It was such a huge picture.
Speaker 1 (31:34):
I didn't know. I did see that.
Speaker 4 (31:35):
Yeah, and then Laura made the mistake of keeping it filled.
Speaker 1 (31:38):
So when she let her go, she just fell backwards.
Speaker 3 (31:43):
That's got to be a really tough transition to go
from being with her every single day for her entire
life and then going back to work after that many months.
Speaker 4 (31:52):
Yeah, it was real tough because it's like, well, I'm
not gonna be able to feed you in the morning,
and that was one of my things that I love
doing with her. And so now when I'm done here,
I just go right home and it's like give me.
Speaker 1 (32:02):
The baby, give me the baby, the baby. Yeah, and
then daycare absolutely. Yeah, I remember that like yesterday, it
just hit me. It's just like I just remember it
like two days ago. It was years ago.
Speaker 4 (32:13):
And then yesterday was my dad's birthday. My dad passed
away in twenty thirteen and then my mom in twenty sixteen.
Speaker 1 (32:21):
But yeah, it's a whole.
Speaker 4 (32:23):
Range of emotions this weekend with my dad's birthday and
then he passed on the twenty seventh of this month,
so four days after his birthday, and so it's just
a whole week of emotions for me that essentially a
new job.
Speaker 1 (32:35):
Yeah, and then so that's super happy about that. I
just got a lot of stuff going on. Credit to you, right,
there's a lot of stuff on the plate. So what
do you do now? What's gonna happen today, Well, if
you're on degrees outsiders, well from earlier, I'm probably gonna
get fired with you playing the beach boys. Well there
is that. We tried to make it a short stay
for you know, I'm coming home. Yeah, we knew you
(32:57):
wanted to get back to your daughter sooner than later.
Take Here's expensive, man, it is expensive. And you get
a new virus every week. Apparently I'm talking.
Speaker 2 (33:06):
The gifts keep giving.
Speaker 1 (33:07):
You made a different one. Yeah, they have new viruses
everything all the time. That's awesome. Your immune system is good. Well,
speaking of Sam, had that earlier. Listen to this. Sam
was getting very emotional when you're telling your story here
a minute ago. This is Sam. Yeah, that's that's literally Sam.
She had to blowing off.
Speaker 2 (33:25):
He recorded me blowing Well, you were.
Speaker 1 (33:27):
Talking a minute ago. Were you're talking a minute ago?
She was getting very emotional in here, and I was too,
but I just she shut her mic off and this
is what she did you recording me Loan, I didn't
know we had the budget for an elephant. Well, it's
nice to have you brother. You wonderful things, and thanks
(33:50):
for all they have to be doing on the digital side,
and you're gonna do another Dub's most excellent adventure up
right this week ye Friday, we're thinking, Uh, listen up
on WEDNESDA day morning, and we'll let you know exactly
where we're gonna be, what part of the metro we're
gonna be at, and what we're going to be giving away,
all right, because it'll be more concert tickets and it's
gonna be awesome. We're coming to you with the goods,
(34:10):
and the price of eggs are so freaking expensive lately.
Our eggs are even more valuable than the eggs that
you're buying at the grocery store, believe or not, because
they come with concert tickets and we're gonna hook you up.
Keep it on one two point one cattle too. We'll
let you know on Wednesday morning. Sound good. Appreciate you
being here, buddy, We love you, love being here. Hey ever,
send a text to the wrong person coming up a
(34:31):
couple of songs. Keep it on capttle too. Hell if
it makes you feel any better enough. But my parents
are dead too, so throw that up. I send humors
a little dark Yeah, that's all right, all right, that's
that's that's that's why it's God, and that's why I
was having baby be can go. He nailed it around
(34:53):
the head. They're in a far better place than we.
Oh yeah, hey, did you ever text the wrong person something? Sam?
Speaker 2 (34:58):
This has definitely happened to me before.
Speaker 1 (35:00):
Chris carn Company one two point one. What did you
do well?
Speaker 3 (35:04):
So thankfully in this situation, it was not me, though
it often is because I just don't always pay attention
to details, and so sometimes I'll know it actually did
happen to details.
Speaker 2 (35:16):
It happened to me.
Speaker 1 (35:17):
That's why he's here. Ouch, look at me.
Speaker 3 (35:22):
We've got you and me just like twirling around like
little tornadoes.
Speaker 2 (35:25):
We needed somebody to come and correct.
Speaker 1 (35:27):
Checked the Swiss Army knife of iHeart Media Minneapolis and
just said, dumbs, they need help go in there. We
need technically digitally all that kind of stuff everything.
Speaker 3 (35:35):
Yes, what happened to me this weekend because I tried
to text an update to a salesperson here that I
was working with for the event at Canterbury.
Speaker 1 (35:43):
And the shirtless everybody's talking about.
Speaker 2 (35:47):
No, I sent that to somebody else.
Speaker 3 (35:51):
So her name is Natasha, and my mother in law's
name is Natasha as well, So I texted my mother
in law instead this whole update about things that happened
at Canterbury and whatever, and she was quite confused. That
was my situation this weekend. That's like the most benign
of things that could happen. Though, there's someone online that
(36:12):
reached out and wants us to know what she should do.
You can go to the Chris gran company Facebook page,
because this just happened to somebody. She had an incredible
first date. It was like you the kind of first
date that you have where you just know, You're like,
this is the person that I'm going to end up with.
Speaker 2 (36:28):
This is who I meant to be with.
Speaker 3 (36:29):
So she finishes the date that she goes home and
then she goes to text her best friend and she's like,
I am going to.
Speaker 2 (36:38):
End up marrying this guy. Oh no, and she a
sent it to him. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (36:46):
Can you imagine wanting that moment in your life back?
Speaker 2 (36:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (36:49):
And you can't really un send a text, at least
I never. Once I throw them out there, They're off
to the world. Isn't there is there a thing where
you can retract that?
Speaker 2 (36:58):
I don't think so.
Speaker 3 (36:59):
In some apps you can, yes, you can, like unsend
messages and Facebook, I.
Speaker 1 (37:03):
Think, but not in your general typical whatever you use.
Speaker 3 (37:06):
You can unsend an eye message, I think, but it'll
say that you that you unsent it.
Speaker 2 (37:10):
Yeah, but she did not do that.
Speaker 3 (37:12):
Maybe she didn't realize she could do that, and so
she texted him and said this by mistake, totally meant
it to go to her best friend.
Speaker 2 (37:20):
And thankfully he was like, he was cool about it.
Speaker 3 (37:23):
But it's like, how else do you how do you
deal with that if you're in that situation and you
text someone and it's a total wrong person and it's
not benign, Like maybe what if you have like complaints
about somebody, somebody leaves the room and you're.
Speaker 2 (37:34):
Like, oh gosh, this person is just the worst. But
then you end up accidentally texting them. What do you do?
Speaker 1 (37:39):
I don't know. I've getting plenty from you before, So I.
Speaker 2 (37:41):
Just you developed some thick skin.
Speaker 1 (37:46):
You have to. This guy's got to be out of dodge.
I mean you as a dude, when you hear that
somebody's talking marriage right away, I mean, we were built different.
Can test her this lot. We're just built a little different.
Why not like the ladies so much? I know it
sounds sexists heck, but we are. If you bring up
the M word, the marriage word, after like a first
date and somebody says, I think this is gonna be
(38:06):
the one I'm going to marry. That dude's changing his
number Hawthorn. Yeah, okay, walking and his address and everything else.
He's moving back into his parents if he's not already
not hiring protection, going.
Speaker 2 (38:16):
To the witness protection program. Not every guy is like that.
Speaker 3 (38:19):
Hawthorn texted his best friend right after our first date
and said that he thinks that I'm the one.
Speaker 2 (38:25):
He's just a nice guy to you. Well, thank you,
you're welcome.
Speaker 1 (38:30):
Who hired you?
Speaker 2 (38:32):
Greg Swedburg?
Speaker 4 (38:33):
Come on?
Speaker 1 (38:33):
Oh yeah? Is it still Greg Week? Yeah? Yeah, Country
Radio Hall of Fame, basking in the bountiness and the
loveliness of Greg Sweedburg. Yeah, all right, No, I've sent it.
I sent a couple of errant messages. Yeah, I remember somebody.
We had a text chain going around in our family
and somebody was being kind of contankerous and and somebody's like,
(38:55):
well what do you think and blah blah blah, what
should we do? I'm like, I think blah blah is
just being a bath. And it went to the everybody,
and I'm like, oh, now, whatever, that's the worst.
Speaker 3 (39:06):
You try to go and like text a group chat,
but then you don't realize the person you want to
talk about is still right there.
Speaker 1 (39:11):
Baby.
Speaker 2 (39:12):
Yeah, that's tough.
Speaker 1 (39:13):
Let's have a good story. Put it on there Chris
Caren Company Facebook page. And while you're there, we should
reset your preset. We're rolling commercial free. If you reset
your preset. All we're asking you to do is listen
to Camonal two on the iHeartRadio app. And what's up
for grabs for you right now? You listen to Capital
two on the iHeart app, not regular radio, the iHeart app. Yeah,
what do you get?
Speaker 3 (39:29):
You could win as signed Thomas Rhet guitar. It's so easy.
All you have to do is go to the iHeartRadio
app set K one O two is one of your presets,
and then send us a screenshot of it as your
preset and you can win that signed Thomas red guitar.
Speaker 1 (39:41):
Is that easy? Just listen to us on the app.
And by the way, this is just the beginning. There's
gonna be other concert tickets, there's gonna be trips and shows.
I'm just cluing you in now's the time to listen
to Camdal two on the iHeartRadio app. You actually get
more music that way too, same amount of us on
Cabble two. It's Daling Scott
