Speaker 1 (00:01):
Russell Dickerson tickets here the country cruise in just a second.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
But first Brook and Mike from Apple Valley got to
play that, so she said, thanks to our friends of
Minesta Rusco. They have been married for six years and
it's really exciting because they're expecting a baby right now.
We're gonna ask them each the same five questions and
we want to see how different their answers end up being.
We've got Brooke on the phone first.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
All right, Brook set yes, sir, I am.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
Okay, Oh, sir, I guess sir, wow? Playing for real? Okay, Becca.
When it comes to your baby coming, what is Mike
most most nervous about having.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
To change diapers? Just because he hasn't really had experience
with that before, and I know he's nervous. Buck getting
peed on?

Speaker 1 (00:41):
Really, I mean I was nervous about just keeping the
kid alive more than anything.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
But okay, Brook, if you were a baby item, what
do you think you would be.

Speaker 4 (00:54):
I'm a weird one, I would put I would probably
have to go with a baby blanket because they keep
the baby warm and they're comforting, you know, just like
a moment.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
Yeah, yeah, it's a great question and answer I like that.
What do you do to get out of a social
event that maybe you don't want to be a part of.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
I mean, lately, being pregnant is a great excuse. But
although typically I'm not faking it just because you know,
being pregnant is tough.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Sometimes Yeah, well we know, all right.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Two more questions, Brook, What do you think is an
emoji that you use way too much?

Speaker 3 (01:33):
Oh gosh, I know the eye roll emoji, and I
know Mike has received it a lot of the of
them lately. But you know, I just say it's the
pregnancy hormones. Like, I can't help it. You're just annoying me.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
All right. One more question? What's the first thing you're
gonna do after having the baby? He should know this,
by the way, I mean, like this is something you'd
think you would know too.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
I would have to say, order Jimmy Johns because I
have missed those cold lunch meat so much.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
You can't eat what you can't have lunch meat.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
You're not supposed to do. Yeah, like they warn you
against cold lunch meat, but hey, Jimmy John's actually toasted
the sandwiches, so it's it's safe if you toasted.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
Got all right. Well, let's let's call Mike and let's
see how you guys do.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
Okay, Okay, thank you.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Aren't you too, Brook? Mike? You ready to rock?

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Yes? Yep?

Speaker 1 (02:23):
All right, Mike. What did Brook say You're most nervous
about when the baby comes getting peed on because I'm
not changing the diaper quick enough.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
We're having a boy, and I've heard you have to
be quick.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Well, I've had boys and it does happen. It happened
the very first diaper change when the nurse practitioners showed
me how that worked, and it never happened again after that.
So it's not as bad as it and it's non toxic,
So don't worry about.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
Mike. If if Brooke was a baby item, what item
would she be?

Speaker 3 (03:00):
Oh, that's a good question.

Speaker 4 (03:03):
Probably a pasifier? Those those things keep kids quiet and
suit them. Pacifier.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
Really, that's not what she's said.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
I don't know, like it could have been worse.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
I could have said a diaper, Oh worse, Yeah, but
you did say a diaper in the end. Okay, that'd
be the worst that All right, it comes another one. Okay,
what does Brooke do to get out of social events
or something? She doesn't want to go to.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
Probably that she doesn't feel well.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
Yeah, that's what she said.

Speaker 4 (03:42):
Okay, but honestly lately like I really don't feel well,
so like it's not even fake if it's true.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
You know.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Yeah, on your side, honey, your pregnancy is is a
little more turbulent than some others.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
I guess.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Yeah, he's a little more more sickness. It goes throughout
the day. I suppose a little bit.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
Yeah, trust me, this is not fun. Can't wait for
the baby to come out.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
Oh, I'm sorry that you're dealing with that. Hey, Mike,
what emoji? Do you think Brooke uses way too much?

Speaker 3 (04:14):
Oh? I've already gotten this one this morning. It's definitely the.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
Eye rolling ding that's what she said.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
Okay, Well, don't say like, don't say anything that's like
an eye roll worthy And if you don't want to
get the eye roll.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
I didn't say.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
It wasn't my fault.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
I just said that was the one last question. You
guys are doing really well, I mean outside of the
passifire the diaper comment thing. There. What we have one
more question and this will take it way over the
top here, what's the first thing Brooke will do after
she has the baby, what can you see her doing well?
She has instructed me to schedule a Jimmy John's delivery

(04:52):
as soon as the baby is born, so definitely that Wow,
that's awesome. Yeah, that's what she said. You guys want
you Jimmy John's. That's cool. Well man, four out of five.
That is not bad. Congratulations to both of you on
more than just doing well and winning at this game,
but congrats. Send your baby to be thank you appreciate.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
If you want to join us, and that's what she said,
send us a message to the Chris Carr and Company
Facebook page or Instagram. We'd love to hear from you
and get you on the show and see just how
good you would do.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
So real quick. When Jamo first peed on me, and
there was one time the nurse practitioner came over for
home visit and she was doing the diaper and she said,
blow on his tummy. I'll never forget this, and I
went went down and blew on his tummy, pete right
in my face. He was three days. Here was three days.
She totally sent me up. She's just like going through

(05:43):
the most as yancy. Now, that's what happens babla. She
didn't even like ha ha, She's just like and that's
the way this works.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
You know.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
She just wanted to the diaper on really fast, and
you wanted to probably do it in a warm roomh
blah blah. I'm like, okay, you could have forewarned me
on that. Oh my god, God, he was like a firework.
