Speaker 1 (00:05):
Lauren and Evan are from Cottage Grove and they're playing
back what she said, thanks to our friends of Minnesota, USCO.
They've been married for eleven years, they've got one kid,
one dog. We're gonna ask them each the same set
of five questions and we want to see how different
their answers end up being.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
Lauren is up.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
First, if you're ready, and then we're gonna get you
on the country cruise with Russell Dickerson here when we're
downe to these two which will just be in a
couple of minutes here.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
So Lauren yell said, I'm ready. Okay.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
When you were cooking, right, what's like one food and
everybody has one that you kind of struggle making.

Speaker 4 (00:36):
I'm gonna go with garlic bread.

Speaker 5 (00:38):
You go to seck it and you're like two more
minutes and then bam, it's a hockey puck.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
Dude.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
Two minutes. Sometimes it's like twenty seconds or even less.
My wife did that the other day. It's like, what
are we making here?

Speaker 1 (00:48):
It's crazy how quick it can turn. Lauren, what's your
favorite smell? But it might be kind of weird when
you admit it, Okay.

Speaker 4 (00:56):
Believe it or not. The inside of home Goods.

Speaker 5 (00:59):
I don't know why or what it is, but it
just has this like specific smell and I really really
like it.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Oh, I'm might have to go in there and take
a whiff.

Speaker 5 (01:07):
Yeah, breathe it in.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Yeah, I gotta go get a hit of home goods.

Speaker 4 (01:11):
Man.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
Uh okay, Question number three of five? What item of
evans would you throw out if you knew he wouldn't
notice that you didn't.

Speaker 5 (01:24):
I'm sorry, this is really hilarious that you're asking this
because I literally just did this over the weekend. It is, yeah,
it is, and he's going to be pissed when he
finds out. But it is his ratty saint John's pitty,
his old college pitty. It has a bunch of holes
and stains all over it.

Speaker 4 (01:40):
It was just disgusting.

Speaker 5 (01:41):
It was time to go.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
I think when the staining starts happening, it is time. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
But those Johnny's love their old, like vintage stuff like that.
He's going to be kind of bummed.

Speaker 4 (01:49):
I bet yeah. I think he's going to be really mad.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
What's something small that instantly makes you angry?

Speaker 4 (01:56):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (01:57):
Boy, easy wet powels on the bed? Hate it?

Speaker 2 (02:00):
I don't know if that's small.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
I hate the boys leaving on the floor.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
Oh, it's all it's a rampage. All right. One more question.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
What's one thing Evan does that makes you laugh even
when you are mad?

Speaker 5 (02:14):
So you mean, right after he leaves the wet towel
on the bed, what do you need to make up
for it? He does this little dance that this is embarrassing.
This little dance is like a little booty shake, like
a little tork thing, and it makes me laugh every
single time. I can't be mad.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
Eleven years and he still does the little booty dance.

Speaker 5 (02:34):
He did a little booty dance.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
Yep, the little booty boogie.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
All right, hold on, let's call Elevin and we'll see
how you guys match up.

Speaker 4 (02:41):
All right, thank you?

Speaker 2 (02:43):
Are you both ready to play it?

Speaker 4 (02:45):
I'm ready. Let's do it, all right?

Speaker 2 (02:47):
Dude.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
When Lauren's cooking, what's one food that she may struggle with,
like more than others struggle making?

Speaker 4 (02:56):
Uh? Can I just say like everything? Oh boy, Very,
I love you, but you know you just burn everything.
So okay, I'm not cooking anymore.

Speaker 5 (03:07):
That's it.

Speaker 4 (03:07):
I think, like any cooking that involves fire, you're gonna
burn it.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
Well, that's that is what she said. But that's not
what she said. We can't give you the point. She
burns garlic, bread, but she burns everything.

Speaker 4 (03:19):
That's inclusive of everything. You get a point for that.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
No, you don't get a point for everything.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
No.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
Yeah, Evan, what's Lauren's favorite smell? But maybe it's like
it's like her weird favorite smell. It's not just a
normal favorite smell.

Speaker 4 (03:31):
Is it nail polish remover? I've seen her take some
like huge whiffs of nail. Oh gosh, No, No, it's
not that. It's my favorite store. Come on, babe, the
nail salons? What hebe? That is not? And why do
you think I'm a trussed it's like nail polish. I don't,

(03:54):
I don't know. It's just just the first thing that
came to my eyes had this image of you taking
big whiffs of it.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
She Now, that's not what she said.

Speaker 4 (04:03):
No, I said, Home Good, Home Good, an entire store
is your favorite smell? Yes, it has.

Speaker 5 (04:10):
A distinctly unique smell, and I always take a big
wish when I walk in there.

Speaker 4 (04:14):
I love it.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
Is there any chance we could get to the next
question you guys, my gosh, all right.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
It's okay. No, I love it. It's just you know,
we're gonna run out of time. But this is good though.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
Hey, Question number three of five, what item of yours
do you think she would throw out if you wouldn't notice?

Speaker 4 (04:33):
Probably my old college hoodie. Yeah, he knew.

Speaker 5 (04:38):
And it's a funny thing that you got the answer
it because I already threw.

Speaker 4 (04:41):
It out this weekend. Are you serious? Please tell me
you're joking, babe.

Speaker 5 (04:46):
It was old and ratty, and it had like stains
all over it, and it was hole.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
It was just it was time. Oh my gosh, Okay,
it's fine. I don't think the trash has been tacked
up yet.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
I'll just oh my gosh, are you on a good note?
You did get that one right, So you're in the
game now. So two more questions.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
Okay, Evan, what is something small that instantly makes Lauren angry.

Speaker 4 (05:14):
When I don't take my shoes off when I come
in the house.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
Not what she said?

Speaker 4 (05:19):
All right, babe, you're not wrong, but that's not what
I said.

Speaker 5 (05:22):
It's when you leave wet towels on the bed.

Speaker 4 (05:24):
It's discussing.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
Yeah, dude, that's really gross and mold can form.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
And if you get it on the carpet, like if
you leave him on the carpet, just and the bed
of all places, come on?

Speaker 2 (05:33):
Do better?

Speaker 3 (05:33):
Well?

Speaker 4 (05:34):
Changing and it kind of hand. I forget the closet
or something.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
Once a bachelor, always a bachelor.

Speaker 4 (05:42):
Better I guess.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
All right, here we go.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
One more question. What's one thing you do that makes
Lauren laugh? Like even when she's mad, she's superheated, but
you always know that you could get it at least
crack a smile or a giggle.

Speaker 4 (05:56):
I don't know, how do you like my dance moves
or something?

Speaker 2 (06:00):
Yeah, that's what she said.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
Yeah, little booty take I love it.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
Yeah the boy two out of five? U two beautiful,
married eleven years. I mean, what more could you ask for?

Speaker 4 (06:13):
My back? I could answer my hoodie back, Well, yeah, you.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
Have to go get that back.

Speaker 4 (06:18):
Are you a new one? Okay, that's not the same,
it's not going to be. I like the ones that
are broken in. You know, it's much more comfortable if.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
You want to be on that what she said? Send
us a message to the Chris Carr and Company Facebook
page or Instagram. We'd love to get you on the show.
It's a pretty good time.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (06:35):
We like to celebrate relationships all around Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
