Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to another episode. Oh I tell you you got
to meet Culver's Clay. That's not really his name. We
call him Culver's Clay. He's from Wisconsin. This dude has
gone viral in a very big way for well kind
of how he approaches fitness. Check this out. We've got
him on the phone here. So Clay, I mean, he's
from Wisconsin and he runs these marathons and but he
(00:23):
likes snacks at the same time. Do I have that right? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (00:26):
Recently I began posting tiktoks and you know, other social
media videos and my wacky runs kind of a mix
of endurance running and eating challenges.
Speaker 1 (00:35):
What exactly Let's start with the running. Now you run
for how long?
Speaker 2 (00:39):
So my longest run on video there is thirty one miles.
It took seven hours, and I ran the entire distance
on a single roundabout.
Speaker 1 (00:48):
On the roundabout, how do you not get hit by
a car? Do you have to shut down the whole
roundabout or do you are you doing this like with
the vehicles?
Speaker 2 (00:55):
Yeah, so the vehicles were present all day. That's what
kind of sparks viral nature of the video. I mean,
people saw me on their way to work, they saw me,
you know, after dropping the kids off, and then they
saw me seven hours later, and it was the talk
of the town, and.
Speaker 1 (01:11):
You like a very confused Forrest Gump.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
Oh, absolutely, you know, I guess I was called into
the police, who then determined, you know, there was no
real threat obviously.
Speaker 1 (01:22):
So how did culvers get into the picture here? I know,
I know you're from Wisconsin and that's one of the
four basic food groups over there, with beer and cheese
and those things. What do you do with the culvers bit?
Now you want run from one culvers and you stop
and eat something. Go to the nice culver, stop and
eat something. How does that work?
Speaker 2 (01:40):
Yeah, that's correct. And I limited myself to only eating
their milkshakes called concrete mixers, and then cheese curds. So
I ran a marathon and I stopped at about five culvers,
eating only those foods and then carrying on.
Speaker 1 (01:55):
You know what, Clay, some people they idolized, Michael Jordan,
Tom Brady, you are my athlete that I am idolized.
Can you imagine how good this guy would be like
in a New York marathon or a Boston marathon if
you can run having a concrete mixer at every culver stop,
would they kind of consistency in your stomach and just
(02:15):
keep on trekking? Dude, you are preparing to be like Superman.
You're just flying. Just think about it.
Speaker 2 (02:22):
Yeah, that's a good training data point. Absolutely.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
Well. That's like people that run with the you know,
the weight things on their ankles. You know, once they
tie them off, they're flying once you get the concrete
out of your gut. Yeah, you're an amazing man, Clay.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
There's a video idea I had to integrate to two
of them. Clay, how much time is going in between
each of these marathons that you're running? So I do
want every Monday, So usually I crept the logistics for
about you know, six days. I have to plan out
all the different stops, make sure I don't overshoot twenty
six or undershoot it.
Speaker 1 (02:56):
How do you have to map out a roundabout? Though?
And doesn't tell there.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
As much required, no logistical planning.
Speaker 1 (03:04):
But Clay, thank you for being an inspiration to our
children running from one Culver's to the next, just to
be treated with gloriousness. Thank you, thank you so much.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
Day.
Speaker 1 (03:18):
I appreciate you being on the show. You can find
him by the way, we'll post him on our socials. Yes, yeah,
he's on social media far fetched fitness. So Instagram is
at far fetched fitness and TikTok is f f F whisco. See,
you can do both. You can do culver, you can
do the cheese kurts, the concrete mixers. You can run.
You just have to do it all at once, you
know what I mean, my kind of fitness. Thank you
(03:40):
