Speaker 1 (00:00):
In this episode of Tell You Justin Moore, Good morning.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
Are you there, dude?
Speaker 1 (00:05):
What's going on? I was just telling my co host
Sam here that Arkansas doesn't suck that bad. She thinks
Arkansas is like the worst team in the world.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
Pretty tough this year. We just beat number four team
in the nation a couple of weeks ago. See, we
really could be six and I should be five and one.
But four and two's not bad. Two and one in
the sec. So Sam, what do you think about that?
Speaker 3 (00:36):
I know nothing about trash.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
It's like unbelievable. Leave the guy alone. Hey, can I
ask real quick now before we get to all the
you know, all the cool stuff and music and all that.
Are you still doing radio and doing like sports talking
stuff too?
Speaker 2 (00:51):
I am? Yeah, not today obviously, but uh yeah, I am.
It's been a lot of fun, man. I've enjoyed it.
It's I don't enjoy getting up early in the morning,
which you guys obviously know all about. But outside of that,
I've had a lot of fun with it. It's another
creative outlet for me. And you know, speaking of Razorbacks,
(01:15):
who I'm a fan of and typically we are. You're right, ma'am,
we're normally very humbled each and every week in football,
for sure, But it's it's been fun for me to
get to know some of my childhood heroes and interview
them and even become friends with some of them. It's
(01:38):
been a lot of fun.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
So, you know this side of the mic then, because
when you're doing sports, you're doing interviews and all that
kind of stuff. Did you ever have a question bomb?
Like when you're talking to a coach yourself? It's like, Kad,
why the hell I ever asked that?
Speaker 2 (01:52):
Oh? Yeah, I mean before I did radio, I had
a podcast and we had some great guests on and
what I learned was maybe less less of you know,
questions at bomb. I'm sure I had that too, but
I would not I would ask a question and then
I would not listen to the answer. I was just
(02:15):
like looking at my notes and trying to prepare for
the next question instead of following up on the answer
that makes sense, Like and so I finally go, you
look and sound like a complete idiot, like like you
just have I'm like, just have a conversation with these people.
(02:37):
And so that's why I started doing and that kind
of helped me. So but I do think. I think
doing it, you know, from the other side of the microphone,
whether it be my podcast or whether it be the
radio show, I think it made me a better interview
as well, you know, if that makes any sense at all.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
Oh, yeah, I wasn't pending that's.
Speaker 2 (03:05):
Question you're looking at the next question. Yeah, I know
the feeling, dude.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
What's funny is I don't even have one.
Speaker 3 (03:14):
Okay, I got to ask you because you just wrapped
up a tour with Randy Hauser, and I'm sure there's
plenty of great things about Randy, But what's the worst
thing about touring with Randy?
Speaker 2 (03:23):
Oh, that's terrible. He's one of my best friends. We've
been friends for twenty years. Love touring with I mean, honestly,
the worst thing is like, on this particular tour, I
closed the show and having to follow him is not easy.
I mean, that's not me kissing his rear end. I mean,
(03:45):
that's been honest god truth. I mean, it's just he's
an incredible singer, artist, performer, and to have to go
out there and follow him is very, very difficult.
Speaker 1 (03:59):
I'll take that.
Speaker 3 (04:00):
That's pretty nice and friendly. I know that your album
is a love letter to Arkansas, and I just had
some stereotypes I wanted to see if you could set straight.
So I had heard that overalls are appropriate for any
occasion down there? Is that true?
Speaker 2 (04:12):
Just about maybe not church or a funeral, that's a wedding,
But outside of that, I would say yes.
Speaker 3 (04:19):
And I heard the four main food groups are beef, pork, catfish,
and sweet tea. Is that true?
Speaker 2 (04:24):
That's pretty true right there? Pretty sure?
Speaker 1 (04:27):
Hey, I found my question. Hey, it's me. It's Chris.
I found my question.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
Hey.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
Of the guys that you have joining you, Randy Hauser
and Dirks and Blake Shelton, which one was the biggest
pen in the ass working with on this album? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (04:41):
Come on, we need the juicy drama.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
Yeah, but other than Randy Hauser and Dirk's Bentley, which
one was it?
Speaker 2 (04:49):
I want to guess it was Blake. I mean, I'm
just I mean, doesn't that seem to be pretty obvious.
I mean, Dirk's and Randy are pretty easy to deal with.
Fike's always a goofball, So I would guess Blake if
I had to guess, Well.
Speaker 1 (05:07):
Dude, congrats on this is my dirt. We're gonna make
that thing number one before we're done with this conversation,
and I want you to have an awesome fall goal Razorbacks,
and I can't wait to see you up here in Minnesota. Man.
I hope you get in on a tour day soon.
Speaker 2 (05:19):

and thanks for the support.
