Welcome to another episode of.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Tell You What.

Speaker 1 (00:03):
I'm gonna take all of our answers that we get
off of talkback. Here's talkbacks really rolling this morning. You
listen to Captle two and the iHeartRadio app, and you
just hit the little red microphone. You contribute to the
show via talkback your favorite Christmas movie ever, and then
we'll find out how many of these actually make kind
of the national perspective, what they feel are the best.
And I love Minnesota's version compared to the national version. Right, yeah,

(00:27):
So what is your favorite Christmas movie?

Speaker 3 (00:30):
On Christmas vacation? Okay, so many memorable quotes. Absolutely love it.
I love It's a Wonderful Life. It's just still, I still,
I can't fathom you being that guy watching that movie.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Why. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
I feel like you're more of like a funny Christmas
movie kind of guy.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
Oh. I love funny Christmas movies like I love Elf
and I Love You Day. But I love It's a
Wonderful Life. My mom and I used to watch that
movie every year. If we were apart, we'd watch it together.
But if we were apart, we call each other. And
there's always on NBC. I think it was nbcn It's like, hey,
it's wonderful life is some we do the same thing
for Rudolph, and then we would we wouldn't stay on
the phone the whole time, but we would watch it together,

(01:06):
just kind of knowing that we're both watching it.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
That's a good Christmas memory.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
Yeah, thank you? So what is yours? Talk back on
the iHeartRadio app and let's see how it compares nationally,
how Minnesota compares nashally. What's your favorite Christmas movie?

Speaker 3 (01:18):
Good morning, Chris and Dobbs. My favorite Christmas movie is
The Santa Claus with Tim Allen. Such a good classic
from my child and absolutely love it. Kay, wantchoose my country?

Speaker 1 (01:28):
Did that make the list? We'll find out in just moments.
What about you? Hey morning, Chris and Dogs. Here's a
good one, don't hear it to?

Speaker 2 (01:34):
Maybe you want to talk about for a Christmas movie?

Speaker 1 (01:37):
Grumpy or Old Man had anything? A great family movie.
So not Grumpy Old Man, but Grumpy You're old Men?
Very good? Next up, Marni All. My favorite Christmas movie
of all time is right there with you, Chris.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
It's a wonderful life.

Speaker 4 (01:50):
It's classic, it's sentimental, it just gets you all in
the fields and it really makes you appreciate life. Kay
one too is my country.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
Thank you so nationally, you would think that that would
make it right. Let's get out here. When we're done,
we'll find out with all of its Yo. My favorite
Christmas movie?

Speaker 3 (02:05):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
There you go, it's obviously the Christmas Story. And it's
not because you know you're gonna shoot.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
Your eye out kid, No, no, no no, it's when
he beats that bullies but man taking of bullies.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
But heck yeah. And then my my daughter though she
really loves Prossy, the snowman, the older one. Oh, he
softens up. He softens up with the daughter. That's great.
The Santa Claus with Tim Allen, Oh, Tim is just hilarious.
That has to be on it right. You would think, yeah,
you would think this is what Minnesota thinks compared to
what the world thinks. We're gonna share what the world

(02:39):
thinks here in just a second best Christmas movie ever.
Talked back in the iHeartRadio app my.

Speaker 4 (02:43):
Favorite movie is Christmas Chronicles with Goldie Han and Kurt Russell.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
I can just watch it.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
O Boy, No Boy and No BOYD Yeah, that's a
good one. How about this one? Hey, good morning fellas.
This is Rob from Zimmerman.

Speaker 4 (02:55):
I've always kind of liked planes, trains and audible bills
or great outdoors.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
I don't know. Just make me laugh every time I
watch them have a great day. K one on two
is my country, John Candy, Absolutely yeah, talk back in
the iHeart app Your favorite Christmas movie?

Speaker 4 (03:10):
This is christpher Burnsville. I really like Last Christmas with
Amelia Clark. It's funny and it's heartfelt. Everybody have a
great merry Christmas. K one or two is my country.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
Thank you, Yeah, thanks for using talkback.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
iHeartRadio at My favorite Christmas movie has got to be
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Every Christmas, we get together as
a family and everybody sits there and revises different parts
of the movie. My favorite part's got to be when
they have the old aunt say Grace for dinner, and
she says, no, great, she died thirty years ago, And
then her husband's gotta say no, stop.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
Maddy, so good. You can call it that old movie
cancer dude. I can.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
Hey Clark, We're gonna put that tree welcome bed over
and I'll show you.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
Did it make the list? We'll find out in a
second as far as the national perspective goes, But let's
take a one more here. Favorite Christmas movie according to
Curna Minnesota's and Wisconsin Night's Ah, yeah, you know the
one I Forgot I Forgot Baa. That movie is amazing. Okay,
did it make the list?

Speaker 3 (04:15):
Nope?

Speaker 1 (04:16):
That one didn't make it. No, No, a lot of
them didn't make it. Really, the Holdovers made it. The
Polar Express Miracle on thirty fourth Street. This is what
the world thinks as opposed to Minnesota The Nightmare Before Christmas,
Christmas Vacation, So yeah, yeah, die Hard really white Christmas,
you know, Bing Crosby. Yeah, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer,

(04:37):
which is one of my favorites. A Charlie Brown Christmas yep,
and Home Alone. So basically most of what everybody just said, yeah,
does not compare to what people think nationally when it
comes to Christmas movies. They just don't hold them in
the same regard. They're also missing the Grinch a right,
I love the Grinch, even if it's the half hour one.
A Christmas story is not on there year without a

(04:58):
Santa Clause, remember that one. Mister heat Miser and mister Freesmeiser,
It's a Wonderful Life did not make the list? What
the heck is wrong with people? A little drummer, a
little drummer boy didn't make it. Trading places didn't make it.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
You would think for sure Christmas Story would because there's
I forgot what channel Elphie. Yeah, yeah, twenty four hours.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Of it And how would that not make the hell? Yeah,
that's what I'm saying. How does that not make the list?
I don't know, but Minnesota thinks so. So I kind
of like our list. Honestly, I'm kind of patronize to
the audience, but I think I like our local list
here with the Wisconsin ights in Minnesotans versus what they
say nationally. Here I take a chption to sell the holdovers.
I don't even know what that is. Do you know
what that is? I have no idea. Hey, we appreciate
