Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to another episode. I tell you, what, have either
of you ever been up close right in front of
Chris Jansen doing a show. I have not. I think
Dubs you probably have. I have, and I've interviewed him before.
I saw the video of that interview is awesome, great interview. Yeah.
All I said was, hey, I'm back here with Chris Jansen,
(00:20):
and then he just took it over and he went, yep,
well that's what's going to happen today in the roadhouse
with Cameoddle two and you are in for it. Sam.
I'm excited. I've heard so many things about him and
how high energy he is. Very high. You've you what
you are about to experience. No one can prepare you
for this. I'm curious scared when you put it that way,
and I know how busy he is, and I want
(00:41):
you to know that when we see him today. I
think he is going to be at four places today,
all at different parts of the country, and he's coming
in specifically for k Whattle two late this morning, and
we want people to be a part of this. You've
never seen anything like it, so a lot of people.
The only thing I can kind of compare it to
and you got to hear me out on this a
(01:02):
little bit is when it comes to the motivational type way,
the delivery and how you feel when he's done speaking
is a little jelly rollish, but I'm not comparing shows
at all, but there's just that feeling. And he goes
off and he starts getting after it, and how his
life was changed, and how his wife has has just
(01:22):
enhanced his life, Kelly, how wonderful she is, and the
two the relationship that they have and the relationship with
God and everything else. You're going to walk out of
there going this guy could easily go be a preacher,
and you'll give it. You want to give them all
your money. Even if he gave all the money and
turned it and went and bought Hey for possums, you'd
still want to give them all your I don't know
(01:44):
if possums eat Hey, but you would. He could sell
you on anything. And I don't mean that in a
bad way. He's just very electrifying in person and on
stage that's super cool. He came to a Caminal two
country cruise, which we have tickets to a little bit later,
by the way, Russell Dickerson and all of a sudden
he turned it into It was a rainy, rainy day
(02:05):
the I mean it was blowing, the rain was coming
down sideways around still water riverboats. We moved the whole
thing downstairs under cover, and then he turned it into
a Saint Jude benefit and raised thousands of dollars. And
he was cruising around that you know, that area in
the middle where there's a rooftop, you know, and he's
going all around and he's and he's collecting money, and
he goes, this is all going to the kids of
(02:27):
Saint Jude. It was the coolest thing ever. Wow, and
people are just shoving money out. He's just like, just
get out and throw a couple of dollars out for
the kids of Saint Jude. And then it was like
here here's my four one k impromptu fundraising effort or
totally impromptu, funny total im Wow, that's cool. Plays the
harmonica and plays guitar somehow, he like plays harmonica and
(02:49):
sings at the same time through that thing, and it's amazing.
He's just he's an amazing guy. So today there is
going to be an amazing treat for those people that
get to see Christian and that hope. I really hope
there's a lot of people. It'd be great if everybody
that's there today is a first timer. If he could be,
that'd be really cool because their malls are going to
(03:09):
be wide open. I mean they are anyway, my nails. Anyway.
Every time I've seen him, I've seen him so many times,
and I'm just every time, I'm like, it's different. Yeah,
every show is different. And he just he leaves your
mouth wide open because number one, you're also sitting there
going how in the world is this meant? You feel
kind of shamed in a way because I'm like, how
does this guy have that much energy? You know what
I mean? Yeah, he's not that much younger than I am,
(03:30):
and he just he comes out and you could if
you could plug something into him, you could power Saint
Louis Park, you could power me put him on a
hamster wheel and he'll keep I've never seen him tired,
and I have, but however, I haven't seen him since
I heard he stopped drinking mountain dew. He used to
be very forthright about his mountain dew. He's like, I
need a mountain dew. You give me mountain dew. Did
(03:50):
Mountain Dew endorse him or something back and they should have. Yeah,
if they didn't, they missed out. But I don't think
i've seen him off the dew because I think he's
not doing the do anymore. Right, No, I don't think
he is read something I love the Twitter boss said,
because I go, hey, I go, we should get some
mountain Dew for christ Jansen And he goes, oh, he's
done with that now. I go, oh, yeah, Maybe I
don't know, maybe they didn't endorse him. He's like, screw you, guys,
(04:12):
I have you on stage all the time. At least
give me a six pack every now and then. No,
he's and he's just genuinely a great dude. So people
will love what they're about to see. Thanks for listening
