Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to another episode of Tell You What. Anybody get
the post, the post Jelly Hangover, post Jelly Hanger. Anybody off?
Anybody after that show that was up last night? Drop
it on talk There's no way, no none, Drop it
on talk There.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Is somebody out there that's listening the up before I
got right now? Was that the show last night?

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Prove it?

Speaker 3 (00:20):
There's god it.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
Drop it on talkback right now, drop drop your your
concert analysis on talkback. You're listening to Camical two on
the iHeartRadio app and we're gonna give away some more
tickets by the way, coming up a secret show right
out of the gates just after six o'clock via talkback.
So it's good be listening to us online this morning.
But we would love your review of the show or
just proof that you're alive and you went to the

(00:43):
show last night. Talk back on the iHeartRadio app. Let
her rip. What'd you think of post? Would you think
of Jelly? What do you think about How do you
feel about being awake this morning? How do you feel
about going to work? Are you not going to work?
Why are you up then? Are you just getting home?
Are you just pulling out of the parking lot or
on Us Bank.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
Could you imagine, did you know?

Speaker 1 (01:02):
Can you imagine that? Yeah? I can, I dude, I
used to do that. We did these events, these little
Chris Cairring Company cruises and Chris Cairen Company adventures back
in the day. And one of them that were a
recurring event was going down to man Cato and we
would take if there wasn't if the act wasn't coming
up here around Minneapolis, we would take people down on

(01:25):
a bus down to man Cato. And you talk about tired.
I mean we would go down there. We would party
on this bus, go to the concert. I remember one
of them was a Dixie Chicks. Another one was Klay
Walker back in the day, party like like it's nineteen
ninety nine because it probably was, and then party on

(01:45):
the way back. I was I couldn't There's no way
I could drive after this. So we were in Bloomington.
The station was in Bloomington, and I just slept in
my Toyota Selica. I mean it could be thirty below
a bus drive would leave like you all right, like
not at all stupid. Even going to the radio station.
I went into the car because well there were people

(02:07):
in the station back then, even in the overnights, there's
gonna be a closet breaking of booze.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
And oh there's gotta be like a closet you could
sleep in.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Well, and the smoke on that bus and everything.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
Oh yeah, just when you could, when.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
You could, that was back. That should be a book
when you could. And I just remember just oh and
then walking in, trying to get in before everybody.

Speaker 4 (02:28):
You know.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Yeah, the next morning is the shift was coming out
and we're going in.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Radio is already just a crazy, weird business. But it
seems like radio twenty thirty whatever years ago was wild,
like some of the story wild.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
Oh before my time it was, it was way worse
or better.

Speaker 4 (02:44):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
Yeah, some of the stories that I've heard.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
And the seventies, I guess we're really banging. Yeah, yeah,
in a lot of different ways.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
What it sounds like.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
And just some of the parties that used to go down,
even even not that that long ago, I don't know,
Like to me, I don't know, twenty years ago isn't
that long ago. And so I just think that when
we hear stories from our boss Greg, he's got some
wild ones.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
Well he never participated to the real true experience level
of the party. Right, Oh I did. Yeah, Greg didn't. No,
Greg was very.

Speaker 4 (03:17):
Uh good for him?

Speaker 1 (03:19):
Well yeah, I mean he he did not partake. Yeah,
I was hammered. I'll just be honest with you. I
mean I was. That was three sheets to the wind.
But I was responsible, There's no way. I mean, I
lived one mile from the station in Bloomington down Normandale.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
N so nice.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
Well even but on a day like that, it could
have been Madison, Wisconsin. It could have been four hours.
It didn't matter. I'm like, I am in my car.
What are you laughing at over there?

Speaker 4 (03:44):
I just listened to somebody sent them a talk back.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Why don't you even have it up yet? They're just
singing a jelly roll. I mean, I gotta go dial in.
I gotta go dial in here. I'm asking people to
get in on talkback and I don't even up yet.

Speaker 4 (04:01):
It sounds pretty good.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
Well, I think that it's so fun to hear all
the different stories, especially like I don't know some of the.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
You ever just ever just got just cut loose.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
Never in my life, like I ever, never, never.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
The closest thing I've gotten to partying like a rock
star is visiting my family in Wisconsin.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
I tell you what, it does.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Get along, you know, I'm going to give a credit
for that, credit for that absolutely.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
Yeah, they are professionals over there.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
Going over there. That's like our freedom. Yes, coming back
to live. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
But some of these stories that our boss has about like.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
Going to artists homes for their parties, which doesn't really
seem to happen anymore the way that it used to.
There used to just be this thing in radio where
people would get invited and like our boss would go
to places like Kenny Chesney's house just for a party.
And it's crazy to me that that's that was just
like normal standard procedure. Or Brad Paisley, he's got the

(05:03):
coolest stories.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
Phil Vasser used to Phil Vaster, of all people used
to throw some ragers down there pool. Yeah, that was awesome.

Speaker 3 (05:10):
Yeah, I mean Greg was telling us about how Kenny
took them to an island.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
What y and Greg wasn't on the fun boat for
that either. They put the stiffs on one boat and
then they put the other people on another boat.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
It sounded like Greg was one, but he.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
Wasn't partaking in the I mean, and by the way,
I'm not making that sound evil. He wasn't as participatory
and the juice is flowing as Greg's.

Speaker 4 (05:33):
A pretty boy. He got a little juicy little somebody
sent them a new one. They were at the concert
last night.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
Are these Are these okay to air?

Speaker 4 (05:41):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (05:41):
I haven't screened them yet. All right, so I could
do this one.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
Somebody saved me.

Speaker 4 (05:52):
Is that Jelly?

Speaker 2 (05:54):
It's been so long? Eve, Oh that's so fretty, They say,
my love.

Speaker 1 (06:06):
Beautiful. He's gonna run out of time though he only
gives you thirty seconds.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
The only thing, dude, he was killing it.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
Yeah, it only gives you thirty seconds. On talkback talk
Back on the iHeartRadio app, what'd you think of the
Jelly show last night? He absolutely liked it? Or she whoever?

Speaker 3 (06:29):
It sounded like like a dude. I was at the
concert last night. I feel like my voice is proof
enough of that.

Speaker 4 (06:38):
I'm too sord to even think of.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
Anything to give a good review.

Speaker 3 (06:44):
But it was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed it, even.

Speaker 5 (06:48):
Though I just got a few hours of sleep.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
But now I have to go to work.

Speaker 4 (06:53):
So luckily my friends let me.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
Stay with them, so I could sleep in.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
A little bit. Oh so sweet. Those are the friends
for a lifetime right there.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
That is so funny.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
I can relate to that, like when we have a
cameo two secret show or fan dam or something.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
On a weeknight and we have to come in here.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
Yeah, that's rough, and that probably doesn't even go as
late as some of these concerts out Like y.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
Yeah, now that I'm a dad, anything after ten o'clock,
I'm like, that sounds awful. After ten, yes.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
Ten, dude, anything after seven o'clock late, I was like, Yeah.
Last night we went to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch
the Wolves game, just the first half because like Hawthorn's
whole family was getting together there.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
It was over by the end of the half.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
Yeah, no, at the half, like they were really neck
and neck the whole time.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
Timbles came out strong last night, but totally I don't know,
eight to one or something out of the gates. Oh,
I mean, I know it's right away, but I mean
they came out just Pepper and them and that was like,
oh my god.

Speaker 3 (07:50):
Then they just kind of fall apart. But I don't know.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
I was a little questionable on going out and because
they game didn't start till seven thirty, Like seven thirty.
I'm ready for bed by seven thirty.

Speaker 1 (07:59):
This one to be here, the one that just came in.

Speaker 4 (08:02):
Let me check our producer.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
By the way, I love on air production meeting.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
Oh I love it too.

Speaker 4 (08:08):
It's great.

Speaker 3 (08:08):
It's it's a little behind the curtain.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
You know, it's only eight It's only eight seconds.

Speaker 4 (08:13):
I mean, if you shut up, okay, I can I
hear that one? You can? I just go for it?

Speaker 5 (08:20):
Yeah, what I think the dude's crying now, he's crying. Yeah,
that's a different dude.

Speaker 4 (08:32):
Oh why no, I didn't.

Speaker 1 (08:34):
I mean that was not in the trans Okay, Well,
I'm glad he had a good time last night. Paying
for it a little bit this morning, a lot of
talk bags, a lot of rip keep them coming. We're
yet the show last night. Let's hear from you. Anybody
want to tell us what they thought of the show
as opposed to doing karaoke this morning?

Speaker 3 (08:48):
Yeah, I want to hear you know what people thought.
