Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to another episode of Tell You What The Big
question is? Are you going to CMAS? I want to
ask the early birds. I want to ask the early
birds because you are pregnant out to hear and the
do date is the day for your baby?
Speaker 2 (00:13):
Is the day before Cmas?
Speaker 1 (00:15):
Yeah? Right, coming up in early November or mid November.
So you're still debating whether to go or not.
Speaker 3 (00:21):
And this is my first child, so I haven't done
this before. Keep in mind, because I feel like it
would be different if I had a bunch of different kids,
like already gone through this process, maybe I would be
a little bit more comfortable.
Speaker 4 (00:31):
I just haven't. I don't know what's going to happen.
Speaker 3 (00:33):
And yeah, what are the odds of us winning a
CMA award and the awards being the day before I'm due?
I am thirty six weeks this week and now, so
that I guess the debate is, I mean, do I
still try to go to the CMAS? Maybe my baby
will be born before that, which I feel it could
be a little easier even though I'd be healing still.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
It's a test talk back on the iHeartRadio app. This
is a test?
Speaker 4 (00:58):
How was it a test?
Speaker 2 (01:00):
Test? Of you.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
It's it's a question that's almost unanswerable. You want to go,
but can you go?
Speaker 3 (01:06):
What's annoying? Is I just I think that I am
the kind of human usually that would totally jump all
over this and totally go for something like that.
Speaker 4 (01:15):
But but I don't. I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:16):
This is is well, your dad left the message on talkback?
He did, Yes, he did.
Speaker 5 (01:20):
Oh boy.
Speaker 1 (01:21):
This is Sam's dad on his position whether his daughter
should go to the CMA's or not. And we want
your thoughts. Talk back on the iHeart radio app. If
you've got the app open. If you don't, just open
it up real quick, use talkback. Hit the microphone while
you're listening to Cablele two on the iHeart radio app.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
Here's Sam's dad.
Speaker 6 (01:39):
I will drive sam, my grand baby, and my son
in law Hawthorne to Tennessee so she can be at
the awards. But Chris and iHeart have to do their part.
Find us a midwife or an obstetrician to drive with us.
I'll get a nice conversion van or maybe an RV.
iHeart can help with that too. Maybe do a trade
out and get us one of those. That's a national story.
(02:01):
The CMA Award winners taking care of one of their
own by having a midwife or obstetrician. Think of the headlines.
We're talking war of news tonight or sixty minutes.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
Maybe I'll think about it, maybe Fox nine.
Speaker 4 (02:15):
Yeah, think about the headlines.
Speaker 3 (02:16):
Let's not think about our daughter's comfortability and health, right Honestly,
I mean if I was, if I was gonna do it,
I'd just go for it. Like at that point, you're
basically prepared for a home birth situation or to stop
at a random hospital, or to stop somewhere on the
side of the road to have the baby.
Speaker 4 (02:33):
I wouldn't really worry about a midwife.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
Off, he's not doing anything. Your dad's just gonna drive
you down there. I've got to do all the other stuff.
Speaker 4 (02:40):
He's like, all.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
I've gotta find an obstetrician whatever that is.
Speaker 4 (02:45):
It's an obgy.
Speaker 2 (02:46):
Yeah, a midwife, no any one or the other.
Speaker 4 (02:50):
Yeah, either are.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
I mean he's just laying it all on me and
iHeart and he's like just try it.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
Just pray. Oh yeah, okay, yeah, we'll just do that.
Speaker 3 (02:58):
He comes from a different time in radio, yes he does,
where people would actually like get given a card just
to talk about it, unless.
Speaker 1 (03:05):
You have an RV company and you would let Bob
san Severe drive, which I'm sure he's good at it,
and he's driven r vs before, but.
Speaker 4 (03:12):
Yeah, he is.
Speaker 3 (03:13):
He is good at that because he drives the giant
horse trailer all the time.
Speaker 1 (03:16):
And you run an RV company and if you want
this to happen, I gladly get like put the plan
in motion, like right now.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
We'll use talkback on the iHeart radio app. Tell us
if you want to pitch in.
Speaker 1 (03:28):
I guess, well, I'm not even asking that if we
should do it, or if is this something she should do.
Speaker 3 (03:33):
It's just it's it's one of those things where I
feel like, now it'll be disappointing if I don't.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
But it could be very disappointing if you do too,
and know.
Speaker 4 (03:42):
And it's just a lot of and I just feel
a lot of pressure.
Speaker 3 (03:44):
My family is so like so hard on team uh
like team go to the CMAS.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
They are you to go one hundred everybody.
Speaker 4 (03:56):
I don't think my siblings care that much.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
Who's everybody that I say?
Speaker 4 (04:00):
Everybody is in my parents they're the drive.
Speaker 2 (04:01):
Okay, what about Hawthorne's parents, They don't.
Speaker 4 (04:04):
They're pretty neutral. I feel like I would say.
Speaker 1 (04:07):
They've all had babies. Mary's had babies, Natali's had babies.
Hawthorne's mom has had babies, lots of babies, So.
Speaker 3 (04:13):
They they're just they're a little bit more neutral. I
think they're gonna support and be excited whatever it is.
I think if I do go to the CMA's, they're
probably gonna want to come also, because everybody wants to
come and be it for the baby wants.
Speaker 2 (04:26):
To Crystalill get to a hotel.
Speaker 1 (04:28):
Christ will take care of all dry.
Speaker 2 (04:32):
What are you gonna do?
Speaker 1 (04:34):
Is he gonna be this big RV chain going down
to Nashville. That's told by Bob, captain r V guy
in the front. Now in the issue, Captain Mary has
sidekicked the co pilot.
Speaker 3 (04:44):
The reason why we're talking RVs is because obviously, even
at this point, I don't think any airline would let
me fly at even thirty six weeks, let alone forty weeks.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
So that's not even an option. Yeah, not an option.
Speaker 3 (04:56):
And and you're not really supposed to sit still for
a super long time a long car ride, which is
why an RV is nice because then you can move
around a little bit, and I guess have space to
birth of baby if you need to.
Speaker 7 (05:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (05:07):
So the debate is should I go to the Seamys
Should I not?
Speaker 5 (05:11):
I have PTSD from this because Lawrence she had a
high risk pregnancy and we couldn't leave the state. Oh wow,
So I was like, I'm getting PTSD with this. Yeah,
because the last thing I would want for you is
to give perth and a cornfield in southern Illinois.
Speaker 2 (05:25):
Actually, I think that'd be kind of awesome. It'd be
very very holistic experience.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
Yeah, that's totally understandable, though, Dubbs.
Speaker 4 (05:33):
Did you feel that way?
Speaker 2 (05:34):
Talk back on the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 7 (05:38):
Sam, I totally think you should totally do it. You
should go. I mean I was out in Seattle, Washington
when I was thirty eight weeks pregnant and I was
ginormous with my first child. Go do it?
Speaker 3 (05:56):
Wait?
Speaker 2 (05:56):
Wait, wait, what happened? What happened? Do you have the
child in Seattle?
Speaker 8 (06:01):
Come back?
Speaker 7 (06:03):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (06:04):
That doesn't that doesn't really tell me anything.
Speaker 4 (06:08):
Did you fly at thirty eight weeks?
Speaker 3 (06:09):
Because that's impressive because a lot of airlines will not
let you fly past this point that I'm at now.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
All right here, here's another one just came in.
Speaker 7 (06:18):
Good morning.
Speaker 8 (06:19):
I think Sam should wait because you guys are so
awesome that you guys, this is not gonna be the
last CMA ward that you guys get. You guys are
gonna be up up for the awards multiple times, and
you guys are gonna win multiple, multiple CMA awards.
Speaker 9 (06:37):
Choose my country.
Speaker 1 (06:37):
I admire your optimism, but what if we don't. And
number number one, I'm I'm I'm a part of this
one and my days are numbered in this business.
Speaker 4 (06:47):
That you're going to be here forever.
Speaker 1 (06:49):
No, I'm not gonna be here, no, trust me, No,
I won't be I won't be here forever. And I
want to be a part of this too. So but
I selfishly would absolutely want you to go. But there's
all also a piece of me that's like together air
on the side of safety, I don't think like I
understand Dove's concern. Absolutely, I don't think that's going to
be your case, but just something could have, some things happen,
(07:13):
and it'd be best to be in the care of
your own obstetrician.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
I love using network and I've had two kids, and
I still don't really know.
Speaker 7 (07:18):
What it is.
Speaker 4 (07:19):
It's it's the doc.
Speaker 2 (07:20):
But I don't know the difference.
Speaker 1 (07:21):
Street an enthalmologist and and an optometrist either.
Speaker 5 (07:24):
So or if you haven't given birth yet, you can
go to the doctor and be like, hey, am I dilated? Nope,
al right, I'm going.
Speaker 3 (07:30):
I'm afrazy to even ask my doctors because I feel like, like,
are you crazy?
Speaker 2 (07:34):
No, here's another one.
Speaker 10 (07:36):
My suggestion to Sam is to walk a lot. Just
keep walking, walk, walk walk. This is Linda from Saint
Paul by the way, just a suggestion.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
Yeah, you know what, because she's saying you'll have the
child walk before that. Yeah, I won't even be in consideration.
Speaker 3 (07:53):
Yeah, but then then walk then you guys, Yes, then
you guys would be left hanging a little or earlier
if you don't have me here, I just walk all.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
The way down there.
Speaker 9 (08:05):
Good morning, mister Carr. This here's really Bobby, say rent

just shoot me you a call, buddy, we'll fix it up.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
There we go, We got it right there. Your dad
could drive one of those great you'll remind him of
the seventies when he probably you know, the eighties when
you met your mom.
Speaker 2 (08:31):
Oh my golly, here's one more. Let's take it.
Speaker 1 (08:35):
Why not go?
Speaker 9 (08:37):
It's your first porn child.
Speaker 7 (08:38):
It's not like it's just.
Speaker 5 (08:39):
Gonna fall out.
Speaker 8 (08:41):
You'll have time to get to a hospital.
Speaker 1 (08:44):
