Subbies Under Fire
"Subbies Under Fire" – is a podcast series investigating individual stories of sub-contractors in the building industry and how they have been taken advantage of by builders engaging them. The stakes are high, and these stories are often harrowing. Our guests have chronicled stories of how building projects that they have been engaged to complete, have started out relatively as expected but slowly things go array. As the stories progress, things get uglier and uglier. The outcomes of these stories have included attempted suicide, broken marriages and bankruptcy. This is a genuine shocking podcast series as many of the actual cases take place as part of larger government building project.
