Former All Black Sid Going has died aged 80.
The Northland product made 86 appearances for New Zealand between 1967 and 1977 including 29 tests.
He was widely recognised as one of the best players in the halfback position during that era.
Going was made a member of the order of the British Empire for services to rugby in 1977- and inducted into the New Zealand Sports Hall of Fame in 2020.
