Thanks. Yeah. Well, look myself and Jerry Paul, who runs
the Turner Center venue up here in Kitty Kitty, we
were having a beer after work, you know, the age
old tradition that a couple of gents like to do,
and he talked about having worked at Biavana once upon
a time. We sort of said, hey, look shit, apologies,
we could we could do that ourselves up here, you know,
(01:08):
and we we did. Basically, we thought, yeah, let's have
a crack at it. Invited some breweries. To our surprise,
they all see yes, and then we jumped in and
here we are in our second year.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
So it's being held at the end of next month.
Speaker 3 (01:24):
What's the brewing scene like in the in the Bay
of Islands Kitty Kitty region.

Really good. We've got a couple of really strong microbreweries
and Kaiinui Breuco Fat House Brewing Company as well, and
then we have another one called bab Violence Brewing who
unfortunately can't make it this year, but they were with
us last year and you know, they really I think
put on a strong show for the Kitty Kitty crowd.
(01:49):
I know that Kai Nui and found Us are both
once some awards locally and further afield.
Speaker 2 (01:54):
You know how many brewers will you have there sort
of represented at the.

famous Missus Miller's muscle Fritters coming along. We've got some
fantastic low and slow barbecue by ash Matushka who she
runs a local eatery here called Dave's Place, and she

year came second place there, so she's just gonna produce
some outstanding barbecue for us. We've got Norton Fine Foods
doing the old New Zealand style German style bratwurst and
a bun's everything that you can think of that's going
to go great with beer. You can eat with one hand,
so you got your beer in the other. We're bringing
it to you.
