Breakfast has you covered on gold Sport, your home of

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Minutes after eight o'clock on Gold Sport in the Country
Sport Breakfast, time to catch up with John Law from
the mid Service.
Speaker 3 (00:22):
A mon John, good morning. Yeah, well ailli morning there.
As we said, pretty much across the country, a cold
I would start today.
Speaker 2 (00:30):
But a missive high so sunshine right across New Zealand
for the next What for the weekend? Is it going
to hang in there?
Speaker 3 (00:36):
I think we have fine. There is a bit of
a front and down in the far south and that's
gonna bring some weathering towards pass us, say South and Otago,
and eventually that front will move up a little bit
further northwards. But for the majority of us, I think
it is like a fairly long spell of dry weather
and some clear skies, which they say by day it's
a nice felt of sunshine, but by night that will
mean some chilly temperatures to come through. But yeah, not
a bad looking weekend at least in terms of weather.
(00:58):
The sports try and fine.
Speaker 2 (00:59):
For many of us, all roads lead to forsythe bar
Stadium and Dunedin it has a roof on it for
tomorrow night's all black taste. But getting to the ground,
what's the where they're going to be like in Dunedin
tomorrow for the build.
Speaker 3 (01:10):
Up, well, I think they may have a shower actually
said in that build up there, but like you say,
there is a roof on it. I think that the
main issue will be as we head three in towards
the nighttime things perhaps a little bit on the cool side,
but really it's not a bad looking story, I think
just you know, any early showers I think really will
clear off pretty soon. The first thing on Saturday so
just been a patchy cloud and temperatures rich in highs
(01:30):
of ten degrees celsius. So you know a little bit
of a cool one for the walk home, but really
a good night for it.
Speaker 2 (01:35):
Absolutely. Across the Tasman the Warriors are playing in Sydney
tomorrow tomorrow afternoon. They've got the Doggies the Bulldog. So
what's the weather like for that game.
Speaker 3 (01:44):
Well, again I think there's a pretty decent spur of
dry whether there's an odd shower perhaps around Sidney first
scene in the morning, if you're out towards the city there,
but I think most of the time it should be
staying dry. Top tempertures are around about eighteen degrees celsists
are a little better than derneeding, but not really that
much better. But I think a good story for the
game as well.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
I'm in the Bay Plenty and it's a stunning forecast
through the next week to ten days, just sunshine right
through the North Island.
Speaker 3 (02:08):
Yeah. Well, with the wind's coming in from that south
westerly direction, you can imagine in the Bear Plenty you've
got the protection from that central plateau, so anything that
does come up, we'll be reaching there and they're not
coming across. So you've got plenty of dry, fine, clear,
chilly temperatures. I think even places like as we heading
towards the weekend could find their temperatures down towards freezing.
So a chilly old one. But yeah, plenty of dry
(02:29):
and sunny with the public like the Bear Plenty and
so many spots as we had any towards next week,
big area of my pressure.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
Nice John, good to catch up. Have a great weekend.
Who are you picking all Blacks or England.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
Oh, it's a tough one, but I think I have
to say all blacks right, I'm here now correct.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
I know and I know the English excent, but yes,
you're right. Okay, go with the av's good man, good
man done, or joining us out of the Mids.
